    Episode 445

    Oh my!

Arthur’s sword split the radiator in half.

“That’s it! We did it! Simon!”

Arthur smiled brightly and shouted but Simon’s expression did not calm down yet.

    “Arthur.”

    “yes?”

“The emitter is a bit strange.”

    Damn it!

    Jump!

As the radiator split red waves emitted from the red core in the center that was shaking unstably.

    ‘!’

Simon instantly felt as if the hairs on his entire body were rising. The waves were so powerful that even non-Naga humans could feel them.

    Crackling! now!

Soon the emitter seemed to have reached the end of its lifespan and finally turned off spewing out a cloud of foul smoke. The red core faded and shattered.

    ‘What happened?’

Simon quickly looked around. Now that the emitter that was causing the waves has disappeared it is normal for the Nagas who have lost their command system to be in chaos.

    -Kyaak!

    -Kerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

On the contrary it began to rage more violently. Even the Nagas from far away were flocking towards Simon and Arthur.

“How did this happen? I obviously destroyed the emitter!”

Arthur shouted as he cut down the naga.

    “I don’t know either!”

Simon also responded by going out and kicking one.

Was there something installed in the emitter? I don’t know the exact cause but it was clear that at the same time as it was destroyed a wave powerful enough to be felt by humans not Naga was spread.

“Simon! What should I do now… Huh!”

    Buuuuuung!

Arthur was startled and lowered his posture. A large scythe passed by cutting off a few strands of Arthur’s red hair.

It was an attack from the Chaos Reaper summoned by Simon.

    “Ugh! What is this? Simon!”

“Sorry! But I didn’t do it because I wanted to.”

Perhaps the remaining chaos in the magic circle was almost depleted and the Chaos Reaper went berserk and began attacking the allies.

Simon said struggling to control the magic circle.

    “Keep bowing down like that!”

This timing would have been better.

Simon manipulated the chaos magic circle attached to his waist while avoiding the Chaos Reaper’s attack.

    ‘clear!’

The Chaos Reaper’s summoning was canceled and he melted then his body turned into hundreds of chaos stems and soared into the sky.

A wide-range chaos bombardment spell that can be used by sacrificing the Reaper.

    <Simon Original – Chaos>

“Arthur! Let’s get out of here first and think about it.”

Simon grabbed Arthur’s back and ran across the ground.

    “yes? Ouch!”

    Ku-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa-kwa!

Soon purple slashes descended on the area and began bombarding like crazy. The Nagas were cut apart by the slashes and Arthur surprised made a fuss.

‘Pitch black eruption inside the body!’

Drops of jet black fell on Simon’s body. Simon leisurely escaped with his back turned to the battlefield where bombings were pouring down.

Deimos Museum at the same time.

    “What the hell happened again?”

Malcolm who had cut the rope with blood poison and escaped was looking outside the museum.

Since I told Simon the location of the emitter it seems certain that he went there and destroyed it. However a stronger wave was spreading beyond Parona and into the sea.

    “no way…….”

    “That is correct. master.”

Malcolm looked back in surprise. A man dressed in a black suit was lowering his head.

    “……Did your father send you?”

    “yes.”

The back of Malcolm’s head was covered in cold sweat.

How far have you seen this kid?

“My father would have entrusted the mission only to me.”

“Yes that’s right. I am a simple surveillance officer who is not involved in any missions.”

The man looked up and saw Malcolm.

“And this emitter is specially designed to produce ultra-wide-range waves at the expense of the core as soon as the barrier is damaged.”

    “……what?”

“The boss guessed your weak resolve.”

Even the fact that Malcolm will leak information to a third party and destroy the emitter rather than retrieve it. Margel meant that he was reading.

“This is the final message the boss gives to you.”

    His eyes sparkled.

“If you want to save your mother don’t do anything foolish steal the item and come back.”

    Pop!

Malcolm bit his lip until it bled. My fist with its prominent veins trembled.

“Then I hope you will complete your mission.”

The man left those words and disappeared out the door.

    ‘Damn it!’

Judging from the way he left it with Malcolm he should have just retrieved it himself.

    Father Margel was testing Malcolm.

    ‘Damn it!!’

He gritted his teeth and raised his head.

The very skull of Deimos that Margel had asked me to bring was visible.

The response from the Parona Peninsula side was quick.

Because preparations had been made for an attack by the Randolph gang the evacuation process worked correctly.

First residents and tourists were urgently evacuated into the walled Yeongji Castle. The walls and gates were old but necromancers hired by the lord of Parona repaired them by spreading a barrier.

Still it was dangerous if the Nagas flocked to the Territory Castle so most Necromancers went out and fought the monsters directly to conduct rescue activities.

It was a miraculous achievement that casualties were small compared to the scale of the incident.

And inside the Parona Permanent Castle.

“Thank you very much for your help from Keygen!”

The necromancer from the Farona Peninsula bowed his head.

“If it weren’t for you something terrible would have happened.”

Meirin and Kamivarez who had changed into their Kizen uniforms were also greeted with smiles. The necromancer’s eyes caught sight of the red badges on the shirt collars of the two girls.

“Would you like to take command? Even if you lead the necromancers of Farona yourself…”

    Meilin waved her hand.

“No no! I don’t think there’s any need for that. Actually we didn’t have the school opening ceremony so we’re not even full sophomores.”

Camivarez said clenching his small fists.

“If there is anything else we can help with please let us know!”

“Would you please? thank you! Necromancers are blocking the Nagas on the beach but they are short on power. It would be a big help if you guys come!”

Meirin turned her head and looked at Camivarez.

    “Kami can keep fighting right?”

    “yes!”

“Then let’s leave right away. We need to show off the skills of the Keygen Student Council!”

Meilin felt compelled to completely prevent this situation.

In some ways I was really unlucky. This incident occurred at a travel destination just as a new student council was about to be launched.

Even though the student council president and executives were at the scene it was obvious that public opinion on campus would deteriorate rapidly if they were unable to stop this situation. In the worst case the 330th student council centered on Simon may end up never having existed.

    ‘That must be stopped!’

Meilin exploded with enthusiasm with burning eyes.

The student council is a valuable opportunity to continue working with Group 7 members.

Of course other than that reason I wanted to show Sernet that I had become Keygen’s ‘number two’ with Simon by my side. What kind of expression will Cernet make? It was thrilling just to think about it.

‘You can never miss the vice president position!’

    “Meylin?”

    Camivarez tilted his head.

    “What’s wrong?”

    “Oh it’s nothing! Let’s go!”

The coast that the necromancer of Parona taught me about was less than 10 minutes away from the castle.

As the two people left Yeongji Castle and were walking they happened to see two boys heading towards Yeongji Castle.

    “Meylin! Kami!”

    It was Simon and Arthur.

    “Simon-!”

Camivarez smiled brightly and waved his hand. Meilin also smiled with relief.

“hey! Why are you so late!”

    “sorry.”

Simon stopped walking out of breath. Camivarez looked at Arthur next to Simon.

“Who is this person over there?”

“My name is Arthur Blemann! I am also hired by Farona to fight!”

    “The mercenary king.”

Simon added. The two girls’ eyes widened.

    “You’re lying.”

Then Meilin’s eyes only became sharper.

“The active mercenary king is ‘Liotamus Bleman’! What are you impersonating? Looks suspicious?”

    Arthur jumped up.

“He’s my grandfather! Now I am the mercenary king! It’s true! Please trust me!”

Perhaps because I was the type of person who couldn’t bear to be treated unfairly even if it meant death the corners of my eyes were watering.

“I’ve fought with him but he doesn’t seem to be a bad person. Rather than that let’s talk about the progress.”

Simon explained from the beginning what happened. From meeting and fighting Malcolm to destroying the emitter.

Meilin who was listening to the story was furious and swept her hair.

“Ugh! Angry! That doppelganger jeopardized my position as vice president right?

    “huh?”

“Oh it’s nothing! In the end is Malcolm the culprit behind this whole situation?”

“Malcolm is just a chess piece. If I had to name the culprit it would be the Randolph gang and its boss.”

    Rustling.

Suddenly I heard the sound of grass being stepped on behind me. Arthur reacted immediately and grabbed the sword but two arms came out of the bushes and a playful voice was heard.

    “It’s a person! person!”

The faces of the three people brightened. Seeing their reaction Arthur also lowered his sword.

“I heard Simon’s voice and everyone gathered here?”

It was D i c k. He must have also been through quite a fierce battle and his school uniform was covered in dirt.

“commons! What are you doing here now?”

“I came here after looking into this and that.”

D i c k briefly reported on the current situation and Simon also explained to D i c k about the radiator.

    “Then I’ll organize it.”

D i c k sat down and unfolded a map of the Farona Peninsula. Four people surrounded him.

    “This is the Parona Peninsula.”

D i c k pointed out an area that sticks out from the continent. It had sea on three sides and the inland northern part was blocked by high mountain ranges.

“The location of Yeongju Castle is around here.”

Yeongju Castle was located at the southernmost point of the Parona Peninsula. If you go below it is the sea and if you go further down there is Parona Island.

“Originally attacks by Nagas came from all over the Parona Coast? But this time the situation changed a bit when the emitter was destroyed.”

    “How?”

“The southern Nagas who lived in Parona Island and its waters began to come up.”

Parona ‘Island’ is an area where the general public is prohibited from entering because it is overcrowded with monsters. However as the wave spread widely even the Nagas living on the island and the nearby coast were affected.

“Now this is the route for the Nagas to invade.”

D i c k drew an arrow pointing from Parona Island up the peninsula. This arrow passed through the sea and reached the beach. This was the exact location where the necromancers were currently fighting.

“I’ll tell you in advance there are a lot of them.”

    D i c k said in a serious voice.

“I flew an observer to scout but the entire sea was pitch black with Nagas.”

The expressions of the four people who were listening to the explanation became stiff.

In particular Arthur was tearing out his hair like crazy.

“Ho is this all because I destroyed the emitter…!”

    D i c k shook his head.

“Whether it’s late or early the island’s naga will attack the same way. Mercenary King.”

    “Then maybe it’s good now?”

    Camivarez asked.

“The good news is that the Nagas’ progression route is uniform.”

D i c k highlighted the arrow he had drawn earlier with a quill.

“There are too many Nagas causing congestion. If there are too many people of your kind in front of you it’s worth going around to the side right? But they seem to be going crazy as a group and are just trying to move forward.”

Simon who was listening to the story said.

“The strong waves emitted from the radiator would have been a problem. The movement command was stuck in my mind.”

    “Oh.”

    D i c k nodded and responded immediately.

“That’s it! So the monsters became stupid like the undead?”

“Then there’s only one thing we have to do!”

Camivarez pointed to the beach with his fingertip.

    “I’m blocking you here!”

    “that’s right. Kami.”

Nagas usually stay on the beach but as soon as they come out of the water their body color changes and they need time to adapt to being out of the water. Camivarez and D i c k’s opinion was to kill it at this time.

“But there are too many numbers.”

Meilin put her fists on her waist.

“Enough to cover the sea black? No matter how long it takes I think our jet black will run out in about 4-5 hours?”

    “Hmm……”

Clearly just holding on was not the solution. Because the Parona Peninsula is geographically so remote it will take quite some time for reinforcements to arrive.

However it does not have the firepower to wipe out all the Nagas floating in the middle of the sea at once.

The four people brainstormed and discussed what to do. There was an idea to just take the civilians out of Yeongju Castle and head to the mountains but that was also unrealistic.

And Simon who was alone in his thoughts with his eyes closed was expanding his imagination in a completely different direction.

    “Guys.”

    Simon’s eyes opened.

    “There is one way.”

    “huh?”

“Do you all remember? Tomorrow the adult Deimos will pass by this area leading marine life.”

“Oh of course I thought about that too.”

D i c k said and marked the sea route between the Parona Peninsula and Parona Island on the map with a quill.

“If Deimos leads the sea monsters through this passage it will be beneficial because they will fight among themselves. But Deimos won’t arrive until tomorrow afternoon. He won’t come for us any faster.”

    Arthur agreed with that.

“Regardless of the outcome of the battle all Nagas will be on the land of Farona by tomorrow afternoon! There is no point in Deimos passing by!”

All four were pessimistic about this plan but Simon’s eyes were shining brightly.

“But Deimos isn’t necessarily the only Deimos right?”

    “?”

Simon said that and jumped up from his seat.

“Leave this job to me! You guys focus on protecting the coast.”

“Hey Simon! Where are you going?”

Simon suddenly started running somewhere outside of a strategy meeting. Meilin got up from her seat.

“Leave it alone. Simon must have something else in mind.”

    D i c k shrugged.

    “if…….”

    Camivarez said hesitantly.

“Simon has a baby Deimos pet.”

    “Oh that. Why is that?”

“You don’t want to use your undead Deimos to fight the adult Deimos who is coming and take away his troops… right?”

    Come to think of it.

According to the explanation I heard at the museum Deimos have a habit of fighting each other and stealing troops when they meet in their own waters.

    Maylin and D i c k burst into laughter.

“A~ Kami. Anyway that went too far.”

“ha ha ha! that’s right. Say something that makes sense. How to become undead…”

The eyes of the two people quickly turned forward.

    “Come back you crazy!!”
