Chapter 0237 – The Closest and Most Trustworthy Person (1 / 2)
by Jessie@AFNCC“Your mom is out of the hospital, right?” Tang Jia Chong asked.
“At my sister’s house now. Hubby, thank you, you traveled and had to worry about my family.” Mu Xiao felt warm.
She’s becoming more and more dependent on him, and when she hears about her mother’s surgery and that her sister hasn’t accompanied her to the hospital, the first thing she thinks of when she’s worried is her man.
She knew he worked hard, but she couldn’t help but annoy him.
She was truly treating him as her closest and most trustworthy person.
“Why is it so noisy over there? Are there guests at your sister’s house?” Tang Jia Chong asked.
“There’s something I haven’t told you yet, my brother-in-law cheated on me, was caught red-handed and fell down from the 7th floor. He just had surgery yesterday. My sister filed for divorce, and my brother-in-law’s parents are now coming to the house to settle the score.”
“Why are you just telling me about something so big?”
“There’s been too much chaos in the last two days, and besides, you can’t help if I tell you.”
The argumentative noise over there grew louder and louder, almost drowning out the talking on the cell phone.
Mu Xiao raised her eyes and looked over, suddenly realizing that Liu Hongying and Mother Du had already torn into a piece, and Mu Die had also joined the melee.
“Hubby, they’re fighting, I’m not talking to you.” Mu Xiao finished rushing over to pull the fight.
Both sides tore into each other fiercely, especially Mu Die, like the aggression and anger that had been suppressed over the past two days had found an outlet.
Only to see Mudie madly scratching and hitting Du’s mother.
Du’s father, who was still standing aside attempting to stop these shrews with an order, was not calm when he saw the two women bullying his wife alone, and took two steps forward and greeted the back of Mu Die’s head with a slap.
Straight away, Mak Die stumbled and was confused on the spot.
And Father Du didn’t stop there, he raised his foot and kicked again.
Raw kicked Liu Hongying out two meters away.
“Mom!” Mako exclaimed.
It was too late to help Liu Hongying, and she saw Du’s mother turn the tables and grabbed Mudie’s hair and slammed her against the wall.
Mako lunged over and pushed Du mother away hard.
The house pinged and warped into chaos.
Du’s father seemed to be killing his eyes, swinging his thick arm to greet Mu Xiao.
Mako couldn’t dodge in time and subconsciously closed her eyes.
But instead of any force falling on her, a howl of pain was heard.
Three tall, leggy men, one of them a woman, ran in the house at some point.
Both men were over five-foot-eight, with robust and sturdy builds.
The woman’s visual estimate of her height was at least 175 centimeters or so, shirt and suit pants, dry professional dress.
The women picked up Liu Hongying, in which the man with the black t-shirt blocked the middle between Du mother and Mu little sister.
It was another man with a buzz cut who tackled Father Doo’s wrist.
“Ouch, ouch, let go of me, it hurts, it hurts.”
Du’s father shouted loudly, and his entire body tilted in one direction with the force of the inch-haired man’s hand.
The inch-haired man let go of Father Du’s wrist.
“Who are you people?” Father Du took two steps back.
Du mother glared with a pair of fierce eyes still trying to fight back, was glared back by the black t-shirt man.
With so many strangers crammed into the house at once, Mu Xiao mother and daughter also looked at each other, alertly looking at the visitors.
“We came in when we heard a fight going on here.” The inch man said.
They were given emergency orders to rush upstairs to help the young lady.
