“Your sister?” Chandi said to Mako, who hung up the phone.

“Well, she said she’s done with her work, so I can go over there. Mr. Chen, why don’t we call it a day and you go back and change your clothes. I’m really sorry for today, I’ll treat you to a drink some other day.” Pastoral novel.

“A little thing, don’t be so polite with me, go on then.”

The two stood up, and a figure suddenly blocked in front of Mu Xiao.

The woman was wearing a plain black wrap-around dress with a short skirt.

Li Xiaotao showed a look of surprise: “Mu Xiao, why are you in B City? I thought I’d never run into you again.”

Her tone was polite, like pleasantries between friends who hadn’t seen each other for a long time.

    Not distant, slightly warmer.

For a moment, Mako wondered if she had come to say hello simply because they knew each other, or if she wanted to do something.

“I got a job in b city, are you here on business?” Li Xiaotao asked.

“I’m here on business.” Mako replied.

“Then we’re kinda related… I’ve thought long and hard since that last incident… I was totally blinded by vanity. Don’t you think it’s tiring to live like that? Look at me now.”

Saying that, Li Xiaotao stretched out her arms and showed them to Mu Xiao.

“This bag only costs a few dozen dollars, isn’t it pretty?” Li Xiaotao said with a smile.

She was carrying a small, cross-body bag.

It’s so small and tiny that you can only put down a pack of tissues or a lipstick, and you can’t even fit your cell phone in there.

The bag had no visible pattern or logo, and Mako couldn’t tell what brand of bag it was.

Expect it to be not too expensive though.

Li Xiaotao took Mu Xiao’s hand, “Last time I caused you to lose your job, I’ve always wanted to say sorry, I didn’t think that I would have this opportunity today. Mu Xiao, can you forgive me?”

They weren’t so familiar with each other, and Mako tried to draw back her hand, but Li Xiaotao’s grip was tight.

“I’ve forgotten the past.” Mako replied with a forced smile.

“Really? But that wasn’t a small thing, it’s not easily forgiven, and you must still be angry inside.”

    “I’m not angry.”

Irrelevant people, what’s there to be angry about.

“Is it no longer angry? But I see that you don’t seem very happy to see me. Mako-chan, I am trying to sincerely apologize to you.”

“Mu Xiao, your friend?” Chandi asked.

Li Xiaotao smiled at Chen Di, her eyes glancing over him for a moment as she continued to address Mu Xiaodao:

“You know what? Shen Bin was fired from the company, his wife found out about me and Boss Zhou, and my house was trashed.”

“I’ve broken off contact with everyone from my past, and I’ve come alone to this city that’s completely foreign to me. In the future, you and I will be living in different cities, so there’s definitely not much chance of meeting up. I was wrong about the past, Shen Bin and I have both been taught a lesson, Mu Xiao, can you forgive me me?”

Mu Xiao didn’t make a sound, I didn’t expect Li Xiaotao and Shen Bin to have such a thing happen, it’s also considered evil.

“Can’t you just get off the ice? I’m being punished.”

“You’ve said it all, and we won’t meet again in the future.” Mu Xiao faintly said.

Li Xiaotao turned around and picked up a glass of wine on the short table behind her, handing it to Mu Xiao, “Drink this glass of wine, I’ll take it as you’ve forgiven me, and in the future I’ll live my own life in peace.”

Li Xiaotao spoke with affection, her expression full of regret and sadness.

For those things in the past, Mu Xiao had long since stopped caring.

After all, it wasn’t someone she cared about, there was no point in taking it to heart.

In order to prevent her from pestering her any further, so Mu Xiao took the wine glass, gently clinked it with Li Xiaotao, and tilted his neck to drink the wine down.

Then he put down the cup and without saying anything, called out, “Mr. Chen, let’s go.”

    Turn around and leave.

Chandi picked up his own jacket and passed by Li Xiaotao.

The woman’s fingertips slid gently over his arm.

Candi turned his head, Li Xiaotao’s eyebrows curved up slightly with quite a deep meaning, and he came to Candi’s ear to whisper softly:

“Put it in her drink for you.”

Chen Di was surprised and inclined his head to stare at Li Xiaotao, his pupils vibrating slightly.
