    Chapter Index

Mako has a normal relationship with her sister and had not wanted to stay at her house.

This time it seems as if the last resort when the outside world rejects one’s self can only be someone who is related by blood.

Returning to his room, Mu Xiao was too lazy to pay attention to this unreasonable colleague of Liu Meiling’s, pushed open the closet door, and took down the clothes that had only just been hung up.

“I’ll be staying at a relative’s house for the night.”

“What, being told off by me, are you weak-minded?” Liu Meiling said in a conspiratorial manner.

“We are coworkers, we usually look up and see each other, I don’t want to get into a conflict with my coworkers. You’d better reflect on this, while you guys are doubting me, you’re also slandering Mr. Chen’s reputation, and even more so, you’re degrading yourselves.”

Liu Meiling skimmed her mouth, clattered closed the floor-to-ceiling curtains, lying down for a nap.

After the afternoon exhibition, a few people settled for a simple dinner at a restaurant and went back to the hotel at 7:30pm.

On the way, Mu Xiao has sent a message to her sister to ask what time she can probably be busy in the evening, and Mu Die has not yet returned the message.

Mako went back to her room and then dragged her luggage out and deposited it in the lobby of the first floor of the hotel.

On the way she had noticed a small bar not far from the hotel.

As the car stopped at the intersection light, she saw an old man with half-white hair walk into that bar clutching a saxophone.

Mako decided to go sit there for a while.

The bar was small, and the old man I’d seen earlier was playing the saxophone on the stage.

A slightly chubby, yellow-haired gringo was humming a song in English in the center of the stage in a self-absorbed manner.

At this time of the day there are customers coming in one after another.

Mako found a table in the corner and sat down on a high stool.

The ordered juice and snacks were brought up, and Mako took small bites of the snacks while enjoying the slow tuned songs.

Casually, he picked up his cell phone and took a few pictures of the stage and sent them to Tang Jia Chong.

After two songs, the bar became a little more manic as the high pitched music started up.

Mako withdrew her eyes from the temporarily vacant stage and tapped on her cell phone’s WeChat.

Boredly swiping her cell phone, she saw that Liu Hongying had posted a friend’s circle today, a nine-panel photo of all Jun Jun.

June is wearing a nice Chinese style princess dress.

Princess dresses are the favorite of little girls who smile sweetly and adorably.

Photo caption: our little princess is the prettiest.

    Liu Guixiang: Beautiful clothes.

Liu Hongying: Our June is pretty and looks good in anything.

Liu Guixiang: I’m commenting on the skirt, where did you buy it, send me a link.

Liu Hongying: Buy duplicates and you’ll clash.

Liu Guixiang: What does it matter if it’s a small child.

    ……

When Mako thought about it, she actually liked princesses when she was very young.

In those cartoons they girls watch, princesses wear big skirts and dresses.

Unfortunately, Liu Hongying all but raised her as a boy.

Summers are always a boyish sort of set of shorts and short sleeves.

I sleep in the same short sleeves and shorts at night, and I don’t even have to change my clothes in the morning when I go to bed, I just get out of bed.

Of course Mako also had dresses, but they were all left over from Makdee’s wear.

Only cool boy’s shorts and short sleeves are available for Mako to wear new clothes.

Those dresses are cheap, and after a few more washes, the neckline stays open and out of shape.

Clothes are second to none, Liu Hongying is never going to say she looks good, much less listen to others praise Mu Xiao pretty.
