    Tang Jia Chong’s car.

“You’re not right tonight.” Mu Xiao was keenly aware of Tang Jia Chong’s unusual behavior this night.

“How come you’re having dinner with your boss, aren’t you going to the construction site to wallpaper all these days after work?” Tang Jia Chong asked something else rhetorically.

“He asked me to work for his company, I promised to take him to dinner a long time ago, and he helped me the last time I scratched my car.”

Tang Jia Chong was speechless, once again feeling that this was all a result of his own making.

Who let him pass by the last pastor car scrape did not get out of the car to help.

But he was just not happy in his heart, “I hope you’ll tell me ahead of time next time you go somewhere. We’re a couple, and I’ll think twice if you go out to dinner with another man.”

“Thinking more about what? Are you jealous again, do you like me?” Mako’s eyes burned at him.

“We are living under the same roof and this is based on the normal concerns of a couple.”

He couldn’t have liked her so quickly, there was still a lot he didn’t know about her.

He wasn’t even ready to start liking her.

He had decided that women were meant to spend a lifetime together, and he had to be more careful this time.

He didn’t want to go back and forth and waste his time on this marriage thing.

    Mako bristled, “Happy for nothing.”

Hearing these words, ripples ran through Tang Jia Chong’s heart, smoothing out his previously hard tone:

“He’s your boss, you shouldn’t be so close. You’re not working in the right field either, and I know a lot of people, so I’ll ask around about the job for you.”

“I’ve only just started work, and I’ve sold this job as a favor, so how can I quit before I’ve even started, and besides, I don’t have to do a job that matches my major.”

“Weren’t you the one who said you wanted a job related to your hobby?”

“That’s ideal, I’d be lucky to have a job that’s going well right now, I can’t be that capricious.”

Mako has been tempered by reality, and to have a job that is satisfying and long-lasting is now the biggest extravagance.

Tang Jia Chong: “If I say I can get you a better job than the one you have now, you’ll quit the one you have now.”

“You’re really big talker, and I haven’t heard you say you’re that capable before.”

Tang Jia Chong held his tongue.

He’s capable of more than that.

“Don’t you worry about it, I’ll do this job and nothing else.” Mako said.

The car reached the underground garage of the neighborhood, and Mako’s cell phone rang.

“Mu Xiao, I’m telling you, if my son doesn’t do well in the college entrance exam, it’s thanks to you.” Liu Guixiang’s sharp voice bombarded her.

Before Mu Xiao could react, Liu Guixiang hung up the phone.

“Harassing call?” Tang Jia Chong asked when he saw the phone hang up without her even saying a word.

“My great aunt, somehow said that if Wang Yu fails in the college entrance exam, it’s because I caused it.” Mu Xiao said headlong.

“Call Wang Yu and ask what’s going on.”

Mako was thinking the same thing and had already flipped out Wang Yu’s number.

After waiting a moment, the other side picked up the phone.

“Wang Yu, how have you been? Your mom just called me, she seems to be in a hurry, what happened?” Mu Xiao asked.

According to the agreement, tomorrow should be the day to let Wang Yu come and stay at her house, the college entrance exam is coming soon.

“Had a few arguments with my mom, what did she say to you?”
