    Chapter Index

As a young girl, the witch was subjected to the ill will of the world, for which she closed herself off and fled from the foul and dirty world.

But there is a man who has devoted his life to unlocking the shackles on the witch.

    He made it.

With the limited life of a mortal, he accompanied the witch to the final death, just a few decades, but in the witch’s heart bloomed an eternally splendid flower.

From that moment on, the witch was free, and the individual named Krysia Christina was free.

When the Hsu system lives and dies in front of the witch.

When the one in the witch’s heart disappears.

The shackles on Krysia crumbled as much as they could, and she reacquainted herself with human emotions, shedding tears in silence and becoming what the Xu system had hoped she would be, the uninhibited, free-flowing bird of prey.

But, Krysia didn’t want that, didn’t like that.

“Mentor, please help me, put it on again ……”

Krysia pleaded softly, handing the shimmering aquamarine necklace into Xu’s palm.

The shackles that the Hsu system had spent their entire lives unlocking for the witch.

The witch chose to put it on again.

The yoke this time, called [Eternal Love], possesses a heaviness that outweighs all things in the world, and is an eternal bondage voluntarily imposed by the witch.

She never wanted, never again, to be separated from the sun in her heart.

    Just want eternal companionship ……

“Krysia, why did you take the necklace off?” , the Xu system took the necklace, a little puzzled.

“Cleaning up your trash for fear of dirtying it,” was how the gray-haired witch replied.

Garbage? The Xu system felt something strange.

    Again, I can’t say.

He decided to put the necklace on for Krysia first.

“Kryssa, keep your head down a bit,” the man said as the autumn courtyard, tinged with orange, slowly walked behind the witch and gently lifted the long gray-silver hair with the palm of his hand.

The hair escaped from his fingers like miraculous light through his palm, light and smooth.

    Autumn breeze caresses.

    Warm sunshine and happiness.

That familiar feeling of having worn the necklace for the witch on New Year’s Eve seemed like yesterday, and in a trance, the Xu system smiled.

Each of his hands squeezed one end of a secret silver chain strap.

    around Krysia’s pale neck.

It meets at the back of the neck, overlapping and fastening with a crisp click to complete the final securing and closing.

    Necklace, put it on.

“Thank you ……,” Kryssa whispered her thanks, her voice so small that it seemed to dissipate with the autumn wind, but it was extraordinarily clear.

    “Your necklace, I love it…love it ……”

The fall winds have become more violent.

Whistling and whining, it blew Kryssa’s long gray-silver hair dancing loose in mid-air, but that didn’t make the witch unsightly, rather it further accentuated, the godless longing and exquisite brokenness.

Her skirts swayed in the wind, and her tunic was blown about.

Chest hanging down the aquamarine necklace, reflecting the hazy dreamy glow, that is the light of the gemstone, but also the light of love, embellished with the witch is not good at expressing the heart.

“It’s nice to like it, it’s pretty, isn’t it?”

    The Xu system smiled.

The more he looked at Krysia in front of him, the more emotional he became, the unaltered seventeen year old face, and the indifferent like face that made Krysia look unchanged.

    It was familiar and joyful.

Despite being reunited a world apart.

    Inside, there is no rustiness.

The past and the present, the unreal and the real, completely blurred all in this moment.

“It’s windy outside, let’s go inside”, Xu System took the witch’s slender white fingers and led the bewildered woman into the warm and cozy home.

The Witch has a home again.

    Enter the house.

The Xu system was thinking of pouring some hot water for the two, but was stopped.

“Please leave it to me,” the gray and silver witch, who always maintained her 17-year-old appearance and always had a girlish posture, said to the Xu system with a serious face.

After a long time, the Xu system once again met the eyes of the witch.

More than the black and gold color of before, the blankness in Kryssa’s eyes had dissipated, filled with pure bright red.

Erika’s eyes reflected the posture of the Xu system.

    It’s young.

    Energetic.

Without the limitations of words, being on both the cultivation side and the magic side of the realm, the Xu system had long since stopped needing to worry about longevity.

“Then it’s in your hands, Krysia,” Xu said, not arguing with the witch’s insistence.

    “Yes, please,” Krysia responded calmly.

She walked into the kitchen alone, her eyes scanning back and forth, showing incredible understanding despite her first descent to Earth.

Within moments, one learns how to use all the implements.

    No magic generation was used.

And no right to use can be created.

Krysia acted as she had before, like she had lived in the magical world with the Xu lineage, maneuvering the various utensils to boil water for tea with skillful poise.

    Meticulous and serious.

    Soon.

A cup of well-brewed hot tea was handed over by Krysia in front of the Xu system, and a small porcelain plate was thoughtfully placed at the bottom of the cup to serve as a heat insulator.

“Thanks, Krysia,” Xu said as the system blew lightly on the hot surface of the tea and took another sip.

Slightly hot, but just right for a chilly fall day.

The tea passes through the gaps between the teeth and finally converges on the tongue, releasing a faint aftertaste.

    It’s peaceful.

    It wasn’t intense.

It’s like the life between the Hsu system and the Witch.

Back in the magical world, with the strength of the two, it was entirely possible to realize a more extravagant life, but neither Department Xu, nor Krysia, had any thoughts of changing their peaceful lives.

    Peaceful life contains simple beauty.

Little by little, drop by drop, they are rare and precious things.

“Krysia, sit down”, Xu system let the witch sit down, since handing over the hot tea, Krysia had been standing beside her, quietly waiting for Xu system’s next order.

With those hands crossed over the small of her back, standing in an unbelievably upright position, no matter who looked at it, they would only think it was a maid.

    “Yes.”

    Krysia sat down in response.

The dreary fall day was gradually beginning to dim, and the lights in the living room were turned on by the Xu system, yellowish and hazy, casting an afterglow on the witch’s long gray-silver hair that fell over her shoulders.

    Slap–

Xu System put down the teacup he had finished drinking from, and the bottom of the cup touched the porcelain plate for a moment, making a crisp ringing sound.

With a puzzled look on his face, he asked Krysia about the confusion that had been weighing on his mind for so long.

“Krysia, where did you …… come from?”

“To see your figure, to hear your voice, to feel your presence, so I come to you.”

    The Witch’s answer was simple.

In a calm, indifferent tone, say what you did.

But, is it really as easy as it sounds behind such a short answer?

The Xu system feels that this is largely not the case.

“Hard work, Krysia,” Xu said, the emotions contained in her voice complicated.

“Not hard …… work,” Kryssa shook her head dully.

It’s all worth it just to see you, just to be reunited with you.

The rest doesn’t matter at all.

Yes, none of it matters, you are the only special one ……

The aquamarine set in the center of the necklace, like real undulating waves, sometimes calm and sometimes furious, reveals the heart of the witch.
