    Chapter Index

    [You performed a full simulation]

[Your life is like a shooting star that passes by, albeit briefly, but leaves a bright enough trail.]

[You are a Sanctuary Magician who is proficient in multiple elements, and your attainments in the elements are unparalleled in their comprehensiveness, you are a true Elemental Master]

[You are well versed in the communication methods of the dragons and are one of the few dragons who are in awe]

[You are the most knowledgeable mortal in the world, with insights and skills in many fields.]

[You succeeded in raising the witch and teaching her to be an independent person, and you died with no regrets in your heart as the witch watched]

[The simulation is over. Start counting the highlights.]

    [In simulation evaluation calculations ……]

[Simulated incentives being generated at ……]

    “Back.”

    Eyes open and closed.

The scene in front of him changed silently, transforming from the architectural style of the magical world to the real world, and Xu System himself was sitting on the couch in the living room.

There was a slight buzzing in his head, but it quickly returned to normal, and the vigor that came from his young body filled his body once again.

“No wonder there are so many emperors in history, always thinking about returning to old age.”

    “A Taste of Aging ……”

    “It does feel bad.”

Slightly clenching his fist and feeling the power surging within his body, Department Xu exhaled a mouthful of turbid air.

When he was in the magical world, he could clearly feel that his bodily functions were getting worse by the day, and watched himself weaken to the point where he was tired of walking.

    That feeling.

Xu Department really didn’t want to experience it a second time.

“And I wonder, after the simulation is over, how that Kryssa kid is doing”, Xu said as she leaned back, her body slumping into the couch.

Waiting for the simulator settlement to complete.

The Xu system was a little worried.

After her own death, will the weak, pathetic and helpless witch be discovered by the gods in the sky and thus return to a life of helpless flight once again.

Inside the quiet house, Xu System’s thoughts were a bit jumbled, eventually turning into a soft sigh.

    …………

    Quiet.

Quiet to the point of being unbelievable.

In the courtyard, in the house, by the bedroom bed.

All things, and all things, are in absolute silence.

No, there was still a sound, the sound of tears dripping down, a crystallization of despair condensing and crashing to the ground thick with sorrow.

    It hurts ……

    Heartache ……

The witch sat on the edge of the bed in a stagnant and listless manner, her hands holding the pale palm that had long been cold, wanting to use her own body heat to warm it up and keep it warm.

    But, useless, completely useless.

The sun, once warm, is no longer warm.

The light that once brought salvation will never come again.

His voice, his likeness, everything about him, was henceforth eclipsed, and even the demoness fell into a bottomless abyss.

“Mentor, you lied to me ……”

“The power of love is not infinite at all ……”

    Krysia whispered.

Hot tears kept slipping down, wetting his cheeks and finally dripping onto the cold, pale hand.

    She’s in love.

    Deeply in love.

Eternal love for the Xu system.

However, the love that was so strong that it took over her entire body and mind did not give the witch the power to save everything, and she could only watch, watching the Xu system pass away silently in front of her.

In the end, only the eternal monster was left, still sitting intact.

    Hands trembling.

Constantly regretting their inability to do anything about it.

Unable to catch the fluttering and fading flower.

It hurt, it really hurt, it hurt so much that my whole body and mind were making a mournful sound, hating my weakness and humility.

    “Mentor ……”

“I will wait for you until we meet again.”

Krysia couldn’t bear the grief in her heart any longer.

“Ah, ah …… ah …… ah ……,” she sobbed hoarsely, her ten fingers tightly covering her desperate face, as if she wanted to cry out loud, but her throat had long since become too astringent to do so.

In the end, all that was left was a steady drip of crystalline tears.

Creates dots of watery light on the floor.

Gradually, accompanied by the witch’s hoarse lamentation, the slight blankness that originally remained in the middle of the black and gold eyes began to change and distort.

There was a demonic red color emerging.

    That’s the color of blood.

That’s the color of the heart.

That is, the color of love.

The witch’s eyes completely metamorphosed and took on the three colors of illusion of black, red, and gold, and there was an invisible and mysterious power surging within her body, helping her to open her shackles, and without a sound or a word, she was promoted from a Holy Realm Magical Instructor to a Demigod.

The elements drew toward her, the world drew near to her, and all things bowed their heads in a gesture of goodwill.

And in stark contrast to the witch, was the aging body of the Xu system that was already dead.

    The light wind whistles.

The body turned into tiny invisible fragments, little by little collapsed in front of the eyes of the witch, taking away the last thought, taking away the last dependence.

The overly weak mortal body had long since decayed beyond recognition after years of oppression from Saint Domain level spiritual power.

    Now.

    Finally the demise of normalcy.

“Mentor ……,” the witch watched, sitting quietly, as if cut off from the whole world.

    Her heart was near death.

But she decides to wait, and in her capacity as an eternal monster, she waits and searches until she meets the Xu system again.

    And before that ……

“Mentor’s will,” Kryssa muttered to herself.

She remembered that earlier in the day, Department Xu had explained many things, and those were all arrangements for her.

Maybe it would come in handy, maybe it wouldn’t, but the witch didn’t care about that, she just wanted to collect all those traces and keep them with her.

The Magic Array in the Meditation Room ……

Dragon’s blood in the courtyard ……

Collection of bedroom table cabinets ……

    Information in the study ……

The witch acted like a mannequin, with no extra thoughts, mechanically fulfilling one of the Xu system’s commands.

Upon entering the study, the first thing she saw, was a large stack of manuscripts laid out on the desk, and was drawn to it.

Most of it is filled with magic created by the Hsu system, as well as some research on how to become a god.

Krysia stowed it away and was about to leave when she suddenly became acutely aware of another tiny corner of paper protruding from its position located on the inside of the study wall, buried deep within the many books.

    “That’s ……”

The witch wondered what information it was that would require the Xu system to put it so deep.

She lifted her palm lightly, and invisible mental energy instantly drew out the bulge, which in turn pulled out several thin sheets of paper that hovered in front of the witch’s eyes.

The handwriting on it was familiar.

It was her mentor, the Hsu Department’s handwriting no doubt.

[Failed again. As expected, it’s hard to break through the gods’ blockade.]

[Ugh, if only I had the ability to ignore blockades like Krysia]

    ……

[Tried again this year, expected failure]

[My body is getting older and even if I could break through the blockade, I wouldn’t be able to ignite the divine fire smoothly, so I’d have to give up]

    ……

    [God, what a distant word]

[I’m out of it, my body has become more sleepy lately, I don’t have much time left, I have to pave the way for Krysia’s future]

[This is the last thing I can do ……]
