Chapter 63 – The Witch Gradually Realizes Something Is Wrong
by Jessie@AFNCCSimulation of the twenty-second year.
Xu is 36 years old and Krysia is 28 years old.
Compared to the previous, Xu Department of the whole person looks, there has been a very great change, that change is called “old”.
Krysia is still young and still maintains her 17 year old posture.
Now.
When the two go out together, no one mistakes them for “brother and sister” any more, and the difference in their appearance is so great that people firmly believe that they are “father and daughter”.
Krysia’s eyes would grow even emptier when she heard similar comments.
Fingers clasped unconsciously.
Feeling a vague pain in my heart.
But the specificity of that pain, the source of that heaviness, the witch wasn’t able to describe it very well, and she could only hide behind the Xu system helplessly.
Deep in the shadows of the light as before.
to seek that brief, that momentary peace of mind.
“It’s okay, Krysia, let’s keep walking”, so comforted the scared witch by the Xu system, reaching out his palm as he did when he first met her, gently leading the witch forward.
The road ahead in life is painful.
It’s also twisted and disturbing.
Department Xu knew that it would be difficult for her to fearlessly make it to the end with Krysia alone.
So, for the limited time that he was still able to act, the Xu system would keep holding Krysia forward until the end of the end.
……
[Twenty-third year of simulation, you’re 37, Krysia is 29]
[You are acutely aware that you are indeed not getting any younger, but your life has not suffered as a result]
[For mages, the older you get, the more powerful you are, and even though your body is not as young as it used to be, the vastness of your mental power is enough to help you accomplish anything]
[In the same year, Krysia was promoted again]
[She advanced from Archmage to Archmagician, becoming a spellcaster in the same realm as you, but unlike you, the Witch is not deeply blocked]
[You speculate that perhaps the power of equilibrium has helped the Witch to counteract some of the hindrances]
[You exclaim in your mind: “The power of equilibrium is as terrifying as it is.”]
[To celebrate the growth of the witch, as a mentor, you decided to give a gift of special significance, and you built an exclusive wand]
The summer cicadas are chirping and the heat is surging.
Under the sunlight, the leaves of the Sea of Trees shimmer with emerald luster, and when a gale blows, they turn into dark green waves with a constant rustling sound.
At the roots of the thick, thriving tree.
It was the Xu system and Krysia who were sitting here resting.
“Kryssa, here’s my new wand for you, try it out”, the Xu system’s fingers wiped across the spatial ring and removed the brand new wand from it.
The wand is elongated and yellowish-brown in color.
It is made from a branch of the Tree of Life.
Comes with a recovery effect.
It also increases the holder’s meditation effects.
In the indentation at the top is a round and crystal clear treasure bead, whose essence is the lifetime essence of an elemental goblin, which enhances the power of magic.
“Thank you, I enjoyed ……”
Whatever you send.
I like them all.
Kryssa took the wand, her eyes blinking, still empty and lifeless.
Her fingers gently stroked the wand, feeling the grain of the wood on it and the rough feel of it, in that way, getting used to the new wand.
Newly made wands don’t have names.
The Hsu system allows the girl to choose her own name.
Kryssa cradled her wand in her arms, and with those blank eyes, she looked into the Xu system’s face and finally gave this answer:
“Gray Rekindling.”
It was Kryssa’s first wand, and the name of the first wand given to her by the Xu system.
Kryssa had accidentally lost it during the Ellenson Crisis back in the day, and now she chose to give that name to the new wand.
Is this a legacy?
The Xu system smiled, reached out his palm, and rubbed the witch’s hair.
“Pretty good.”
He said.
……
In the 26th year of the simulation, you’re 40 and Krysia is 32.
[Your body has become a little sluggish, but your mind is still sharp, your control of the elements is exceptional, and you’re gradually perceiving the concept of the realm.]
You and Krysia are still traveling the world.
[You lead the Eternal Witch to the island in the lake on the east side of the world, a terrifyingly perilous place known as the Dragon Isle, infested not only with a large number of sub-dragon species, but also with true pure-blooded dragons.]
You invited the witch to ride the dragon with you.
“Krysia, don’t worry, this dragon is very tame.”
“Just do what I do, tap gently, and they’ll understand what we’re saying, and listen better than any domesticated pet.”
The island in the lake where the dragon’s whistles used to be heard.
It’s extraordinarily quiet today.
Countless sub-dragon species crouched on the ground, shivering, and looked at the not-so-distant, terrifying master and disciple who were teaching a lesson with horrified eyes.
“Look, Krysia.”
Only the head of the pure-blooded red dragon was visible, and Xu System smiled as he waved his wand.
Level 9 Ground Magic – Gravity Field.
Level 9 Fire Magic – Flames of the Vault of Heaven.
Level 9 Thunder Magic – Thunder Roar.
Level 9 Light Magic – Sacred Thorn Penetration.
The small, long-handled wand, sheathed in four level 9 spells at once, tapped gently on the top of the red dragon’s head as it whimpered in terror.
Dragon scales crumbled and exploded, dragon blood shot out, and the scene was a dragon’s nightmare.
But soon.
Under the powerful physique of the dragon race, the red dragon snapped out of its stupor and bowed its head to the Xu system with a fawning gesture, fearing that it would be hit hard again.
“See, Krysia, dragons are very tame.”
“I understand, Mentor.”
The witch responded obediently, memorizing the secrets of dragon taming taught by the Xu Department.
……
[You taught the witch how to communicate with demons and dragon species with brutal personalities, and the witch comprehended your teachings and took them to heart]
[You and the witch are in a good mood after being dragon riders for a while]
[Afterward, you and the Witch left the Dragon Isle, but your fame spread and became deeply rooted in the heads of the dragonbloods.]
Thirty years into the simulation, you’re 44 and Krysia’s 36.
[You look older, and while drinking water once, you looked at yourself reflected in the water, and a strand of gray hair appeared at your temples at some point.]
[You froze for a moment and pulled out the strand of white hair, of which the witch knew nothing]
[You took the witch and traveled through a country without steam equipment, a country that still maintains a primitive atmosphere and uses human labor to farm, but it has a great view]
[The witch sees the vast expanse of golden wheat for the first time, and learns to observe the world meditatively in the harmony of the earth and the gentle wind.]
[In the 35th year of the simulation, you’re 49 and Krysia is 41.]
The change of years and the flow of time have not affected the “miracle beyond the gods” in the slightest, and Krysia still maintains the beautiful appearance of a 17 year old.
[But her inner self has become much more mature and stable because of her long travels with you.]
[You notice that at some point, both on the march and at rest, the witch has her eyes on you, as if worried about something]
[In the 38th year of the simulation, you’re 52 and Krysia is 44.]
“You’re ready to break through to the Holy Spirit.
