Chapter 39: Unable to abandon her for help

The sumptuous dinner began.

The meat is tender and smooth and the vegetables are crisp and flavorful.

The hot soup was also extremely flavorful.

In this magical world, people commonly used knives and forks, but Xu System was more accustomed to using chopsticks, so he sharpened two of his own for his own use.

Krysia had originally used a knife and fork as well, but after seeing Department Xu use chopsticks, she somehow became wanting to learn how to use them.

An odd scene takes place in the Hsu family’s home.

While everyone else is using knives and forks and happily spending New Year’s Eve, the tiny witch is constantly battling with her chopsticks, repeating the embarrassing situation of picking up and dropping them.

It was obviously just a normal wooden stick, but it was even harder to learn than magic.

The Xu system soothed and demonstrated to Krysia in slow motion, and so another ten minutes passed before the girl struggled to pick up the first piece of meat with her chopsticks.

Like she had accomplished some ultimate goal, she sighed with relief.

Chopsticks, the enemy of a lifetime!

To prevent her dinner from getting cold, the girl eventually gave up fighting with her chopsticks in favor of her familiar knife and fork, and began to savor the delicacies made by the Xu system.

“Is it good?” , the Xu system asked.

“Yummy, Mentor,” Krysia’s eyes widened slightly.

Knives and forks clash with dinner plates.

The sound of teeth chewing food and tongue rolling.

It happens simultaneously in this moment.

Undoubtedly, judging from this display, the girl was really enjoying the meal made by Department Xu.

But after taking the first bite, she immediately stopped moving and turned to look at Department Xu with those empty eyes, as if waiting for something.

“Okay, I’ll eat too.”

The Xu system laughed and similarly began to eat.

The Xu system spoke in a warm voice.

Wait for Krysia to accept the gift.
