    Chapter Index

The moonlight passes through the dry branches and becomes fragmented, reflecting crookedly into the ground.

    Bark peeling.

    The trunk is twisted.

The Underworld-influenced wizarding world is littered with such monstrous light, with gray moldy patches strewn about and hovering with the long cry of a flock of ravens.

More sometimes than not, the sky springs to life.

Seems like a behemoth is twisting inside.

    Wandering.

    Jogging.

The aura of death hangs over every living thing.

    “The plan is going well.”

“Currently I’m making steady progress toward being a second ring wizard.”

“With just normal development, one can continue to advance, however, the effects of the Soul Collector are ultimately limited.”

“In the later stages of the wizard system, in addition to focusing on the strength of the soul, it also places extra importance on its own truth.”

The voice blurred in the moonlight.

The Xu system stood at the window, looking out at the dead forest outside, as well as the blood-colored demonic scene, and thinking about his future life plans.

    That plan wasn’t complicated.

Prioritize power-ups to ensure safe survival in the Wizarding World.

Following this, the subsequent goal of the study of death, the study of the soul, and the study of truth is accomplished.

About the Legendary Sorcerer Realm of the Seven Rings.

The Xu system doesn’t have much confidence.

He felt that it would be an excellent result for this simulation to become a five-ringed wizard.

“The waters …… of this world are deep.”

Xu System looked out the window as the black and heavy death aura became more and more raging, accompanied by a long, mournful roar that resounded through the world, causing everything to fall into a deep and eerie distortion.

    Flowers are still flowers.

    Grass is still grass.

    People also remain people.

But the erosion originating from the Underworld, that constant stream of death, is causing everything to change.

    “Sorcerer, Underworld, Summon, Ritual ……”

“If I’m not mistaken, the sorcerer who called out to the Underworld a thousand years ago should have done so in order to break through the realm.”

    “Six rings? Or seven?”

“There is no intelligence to prove where that wizard exists, and it is likely that he is still within the wizarding world.”

Fingers tapped the head of the bed.

    Lift up, knock down.

The Xu system looked at the crossed branches of the withered forest and fell into long contemplation.

There was no doubt that the sorcerer was powerful, and although it was unlikely that he would ever encounter one, it was right to keep an eye out for everything.

    And.

Remove that unknown and powerful sorcerer.

Within this world, there are still a great number of threats, such as the Undead Plague, the Reanimated Witch Demon, and the Skeleton Gargoyle.

    “Things are getting interesting ……”

“And I don’t know, how far I’ll end up going.”

Under the blood moon, the Xu system tsked on.

It just feels like a comparison to the magical world governed by the gods.

This disorganized world of wizards has more of that magical strangeness that makes it impossible to see what the future holds.

    Crunch–

    Crunch-

A voice interrupted Xu System’s thoughts.

Intermittently, repeating, it was the sound of the mansion door moving slightly.

The person who pushed the door, seemed to be worried about disturbing the Xu system, so he pushed it very, very slowly, and with a careful stance, entered the interior of the mansion from the outside.

“Just push the door, Cervia, I’m still awake.”

The Xu system opened its mouth.

The voice was conveyed through the power of the jutsu all the way to the mansion’s front door.

So the sound of that push was no longer masked and the door was pushed in normally.

“I’m sorry to disturb your rest, Sorcerer-sama.”

    Iron Boots stride.

A familiar voice came from the hallway.

It was Servia, she had just returned from a trip out to decimate the undead, it was her routine and a belief she held on to.

    Actually.

In recent days, the Xu system had beheaded a large number of undead due to its need for soulfire, and didn’t really need the girl’s patrol.

But Cervia’s heart was always attached to people without power.

    Every spare moment.

It would then go around the villages, patrolling the undead for movement.

“There is no need to be concerned, Thavia, it’s just a small thing”, Xu said as he left the windowsill and reached out for the girl to sit down.

The armor is heavy and tightly wrapped around the bones inside.

    To carry that weight.

The Xu system used sorcery to create special chairs in order to be able to carry Cervelia’s weight.

The two men sat across the table, discussing the results of their research and the changing conditions of the undead around them.

“Are you leaving soon, Lord Wizard?”

    “Well, almost.”

    “So ……”

Cervelia removed her helmet, revealing a pale skull and brilliant turquoise eyes that stood out in the darkness of the night.

    Ten fingers interlocked.

    Unconsciously frictional, constricted, and restless.

In the end, all the uneasiness turned into relief, “A month really flies by ……”

The girl lowered her head, her turquoise eyes becoming dull at an angle that Xu System couldn’t see.

    It’s very disheartening.

Like the unknowing greedy man in the story.

    Thirsty for more companionship.

    Longing for normal communication.

But that wouldn’t do, the Sorcerer Lord had his own goals, and he was lucky enough to stay for a month.

And, one has things to do.

Patrolling the former territory of House Crawfell, protecting the helpless and pitiful populace, and preventing the living from being disturbed by the dead.

Paths that do not intersect with each other, or even run parallel.

Separation is par for the course.

Cervelia sat still, accepting this and expressing her blessing to the Xu system, “May you have a pleasant journey, Lord Wizard.”

    Trying to smile.

But the face that had lost its flesh and blood could not show a smile like a normal person.

Thus, the Xu system saw Thalia’s soulfire pulsing with an alternative expression of laughter.

    “Thank you, Servia.”

The Xu system smiled, responding to the undead girl’s kindness.

    Wrist flip.

    Remove a Necrotic Mushroom.

Set it on fire with a flame.

This mushroom, which gives off a strong flavor when it is sautéed, comes from the Necromonger side of the world.

A ripe Necromantic Mushroom can be consumed normally by the living, and when lit in its normal state, emits an odor that is comforting to the undead.

    “It smells so good.”

Servia, in her armor, looked happy.

    Smell it and smell it.

    Eyes subconsciously narrowed.

Reminds the Xu system of a cat that sucks catnip.

“Wizard-sama, do you have any plans, like where to go and such”, asked Servia to the Xu system in the secluded bedroom.

“It’s nothing, nothing more than continuing to cultivate to improve your strength.”

    The Xu system narrated slowly.

In easy to understand terms, describe to the undead girl in front of her, the world that belongs to wizards.

    Backwards.

The Koh Department will explore this further.

Keep getting stronger and searching for truth until this life burns out.

“Wow ……,” that magical future caused Servia to let out a gasp.

“So, what would you do if you became powerful?”

    She then asked.

The Xu system didn’t answer right away.

Turning his head sideways, he looked out the window at the twisted branches of the trees that swayed, “Perhaps an attempt will be made to succor the terminally ill world.”

    Sick?

    The world?

A girl who grew up with an aristocratic education and thinks she knows a lot.

A bit frazzled at the moment.

The silence of the night was permeated by the scent of decay, the final aftertaste of a necrotic and festering soul.

It is of the living and of the world.
