Chapter 3: It’s not so bad to live again.

The bell rang, the class teacher Liu Baiken holding the textbook into the classroom, like a market like a lively classroom instantly quiet, each back to their seats, take out the textbook ready for class.
Liu Baiken teaches language, is not tall, but the lecture humor, easy-going, will pull some knowledge outside the classroom, what humanities and history will talk about, but also quite popular.
But what Liu Baiken is most famous for is not his lecturing style, but the fact that he has a wife ten years younger than him who used to be his student, and it was at Nanming Middle School that the two met.
Whenever a student made fun of him about it, he relieved the embarrassment by telling the history of his relationship with his teacher’s wife, how difficult his mother-in-law was, etc.
The often playful Liu Baiken was in a bad mood today, with a black face, this was because there was a very bad fight and brawl in the class, and his bonus for this semester was more than likely out of the question.
Yesterday after school, Cheng Ming’s deskmate Zhao Lei fought with Fatty Li Pan.
Because there is a late study session in the evening, at this point, there are no students in the class, the day students go home for dinner, and the resident students have to go to the cafeteria for dinner.
The two of them were left on duty to clean the classroom, which was supposed to be done one table at a time, and they couldn’t even get together.
But their math midterm scores were the bottom one and bottom two in the class, respectively.
This can be the math teacher and director of Lian Zhangyuan angry, directly punished them to duty for a week.
The other students in the class all applauded and cheered, after all, the duty this job, every morning to arrive early, in the classroom while the classroom is less people to clean up the classroom, the classroom to wipe the blackboard, after school can not be the first time to go home to eat, it is really troublesome.
The students in the class, including the teacher, didn’t know how Zhao Lei and Li Pan got into a fight.
In this day and age, classrooms weren’t yet monitored, either, and even later, classroom cameras were mostly for show, and except for exams, they were mostly in charge.
It was Li Pan’s parents who led him to the school today to seek redress.
Li Pan’s head was wrapped in gauze, and his arm was in a cast hanging from his neck, so he looked badly hurt.
Zhao Lei didn’t even come to school today, and the cause and effect of the incident was all Li Pan’s word.
When bad student Zhao Lei tries to force him to clean up alone and go home first by himself, Li Pan disagrees and gets beaten up, breaking Lin Jingyi’s desk in the process of the fight.
Lin Jingyi’s desk was already wobbly, the drawer boards could be jerked off at any time, and a few boards on the desktop creaked, so it wasn’t surprising when they broke.
When Cheng Ming and Zhao Lei were at the same table, their relationship couldn’t be said to be good, it was just an ordinary classmate relationship.
The extent to which a teacher comes and taps you on the shoulder to wake you up when one is sleeping.
It was only after Cheng Ming’s family drastically changed, living over at the old mansion and hanging out with Zhao Lei all day, that the two became close friends.
Cheng Ming also asked Zhao Lei why he fought with people like Li Pan.
Zhao Lei then said, Fatty Li laughed at me as an orphan and wild seed that no one wanted, and my grandfather was a garbage collector, and when I got angry, I pushed and shoved him a few times, not wanting to really hit him, and he ended up copying a stool and trying to hit me, which I dodged and broke the table, so I would teach him a hard lesson.
I didn’t dare to go to school the next day for fear that he would ask me to pay for my medical bills, and then I was expelled from school as well.
It’s also kind of saddening that not many people can tolerate this kind of personal attack.
And this fight was the beginning of Zhao Lei’s slide into the abyss.
If he had continued to study, he wouldn’t have become an idle punk, and wouldn’t have known any big brother on the road, and finally been pushed out by his big brother to take the blame in the wave of anti-triad warfare.
“Xiao Ming, how long are you going to hold onto my hand, I still have to take notes.” Lin Jingyi flung her right hand and said weakly.
“Ooooh.”
Lin Jingyi’s voice pulled Cheng Ming back to reality from his long thoughts and memories, and subconsciously let go of Lin Jingyi’s hand.
That said, is this reality? Is it really not a dream? Even if his ass had just blossomed, he had touched Lin Jingyi’s small hand.
Cheng Ming was still a bit stunned.
But this was indeed his junior classroom, and he sat at the last table in the fourth row, by the window and near the garbage corner, where he hated students who shot at garbage cans but had lousy technique.
Cheng Ming turned his head, and his shadow was reflected on the glass of the window, his body was thin and long, wearing the featureless uniform of Nanming No. 5 Middle School, and he had not yet worn his glasses, nor did he have panda-like dark circles under his eyes.
With the most popular shaggy hair of the moment, a little longer than a flat head, and without being caught by the teachers at school, this is really what he looked like when he was fifteen or sixteen years old, isn’t it?
Cheng Ming’s head still had a cute dorky hair sticking out of it, probably because he slept in a bad position last night, holding his head with the quilt.
Tiny palms that hadn’t yet fallen victim to keyboarding hands, and a left index finger that didn’t bear the scar of a knife from his own cooking days.
Is this a new life?
A prophecy, Cheng Ming seemed to have really killed his past self, and the body of the little brat contained a mature soul from the future.
But Cheng Ming was a little too happy to be happy, although there were too many regrets and remorse in his past, but he had managed to make it through, at the age of thirty he wasn’t a successful man, but at least half, and was all set to get a license with Lin Jingyi.
There are simply no prerequisites for rebirth such as “being robbed of your first love, cuckolded, poor, in a drunk-driving accident, or dying suddenly in love”.
Ah, sudden death would be a possibility.
Cheng Ming looked at Lin Jingyi’s side face, she was pretending to be attentive to the lesson, looking at the blackboard without looking away from the blackboard, the textbook was filled with notes, translations were labeled next to each sentence of the literary text.
It’s nothing like textbooks like Cheng Ming’s that scribble on portraits of the ancients.
But Lin Jingyi’s right hand, which was holding the pen, didn’t move at all, reddened through her ears, and she couldn’t hear what the teacher was saying at all.
Cheng Ming’s blunt and undisguised gaze left Lin Jingyi defenseless, her body heating up and softening.
Ah, no, no, no, it’s going to be a bad boy.
He even pretended to be unknown to me when he was obviously in a separate class, and first he touched someone’s hand, and now he’s staring at them with such eyes.
After all, there is a difference between men and women, just a male and female consciousness of Cheng Ming and Lin Jingyi are very concerned about other people’s eyes, afraid of the two too close, inviting gossip, even if the junior class, did not say more than a few words.
Lin Jingyi shook her head and decided to give Xiao Ming a little color.
“Xiao Ming, look at the blackboard, don’t look at me.” Lin Jingyi tapped her desk with the tip of her pen, pouted, and feigned anger, “If you look at me again, I’m going to tell your mom that you don’t listen carefully in class and that you’re interrupting my studies.”
Cheng Ming was dumbfounded, these words, still familiar with that flavor, if you can’t beat them, you snitch on them with your parents.
Perhaps a second life wouldn’t be so bad, at least to guard the young girl in front of him and the home behind her.
Cheng Ming couldn’t wait to get home to see his sister and mend the cracks that had just appeared in his home.
