    【57】56.

The place where Team 5 chose to stay was an entire inn in Berkia.

Most of the students in the class who arrived at the inn reacted with great embarrassment.

“Do I really have to sleep here?”

“There won’t be any rats or anything right?”

“What about laundry? “What about cleaning?”

“Do we even have to prepare meals?”

Everyone from noble families reacted in confusion.

On the other hand commoner students like Karl were very calm.

Carl instead made fun of his friends.

“Phew. “Don’t you look like a bunch of immature noble ladies right now?”

    “what?”

“Be cheeky about the subject of knives!”

Chelsea and Illyana reacted in tears.

Carl screamed as he was hit by the two men.

However the rejection of students from aristocratic backgrounds did not easily subside.

Until now Lumern has provided students with no shortage of food clothing and shelter even though they have been subject to difficult training and classes.

In fact the Lumern dormitory had waiters who helped with laundry and cleaning creating an environment where students could focus solely on their studies.

    But it was different now.

I had high expectations that it was a school trip but it turned out to be a place where only commoners would stay.

I even had to solve everything myself.

“Wouldn’t it have been okay to find a better place to stay?”

Even Nella the oldest and most mature person in the class reacted with difficulty.

“Looking at your reaction I think it was a good idea to choose this place as my accommodation.”

    “huh?”

“ruler! Everyone don’t be dissatisfied. This is also a good experience. A comfortable bed laundry done for you by someone else a meal prepared by someone else. This kind of convenience cannot always be ready. “As a hero candidate I must be able to handle any situation.”

At Leo’s words boos erupted from all over.

    “You’re a stooge! “The professor’s henchman!”

“Do your best to be an honor student!”

“Do you know that Professor Halind gave you the authority to decide on accommodations?”

“Let’s just save our money and move to another accommodation.”

Leo who was listening to the dissatisfied protest spoke.

“Originally Professor Halind was planning to have us sleep outside in a tent.”

    Everyone froze at those words.

Nella the vice-president also looked surprised because it was her first time hearing this.

“I managed to convince him to come here.”

The faces of the entire class became thoughtful.

I can’t believe I was planning on having people pitch a tent and sleep outdoors in this blizzard town!

‘As expected the most vicious professor in Rumern!’

“If you don’t like it here I’ll tell you that you can’t sleep here.”

    “hey! Catch him! “Stop it!”

    “Ugh! Stop! class monitor!”

Taide and Illyana were scared and clung to Leo’s arms.

In the end the students quietly decided to stay at the inn for ten days.

“And one more thing. Professor Halind and Associate Professor Senna will not be staying here. He left it up to us to do our own thing. “But he told me to keep the line.”

    Leo grinned.

“He warned me that if a man and a woman are caught staying in the same room or doing something that violates the school rules they will face terrible consequences.”

    “Tsk! “It’s not fun.”

    Illyana grunted.

“You have free time until tomorrow morning. “Feel free to explore the city to your heart’s content.”

At Leo’s words we each went up to our rooms.

Although they were dissatisfied at first the atmosphere gradually became excited as they thought they were the only ones there.

“Let’s clean up our room change into winter clothes and go shopping!”

“It looks like there is a hot spring. I want to go to the hot spring first.”

“I’m going to go to the weapon shop!”

Leo muttered as he looked at his friends who had returned to the lively atmosphere typical of teenagers.

    “The kids adapt quickly.”

“Leo do you know that you sometimes talk like an old man?”

“I know. “I will report to Professor Halind.”

    “Shall I go too?”

“No you should stay here and check for any unusual details.”

    “huh.”

Halind and Senna were staying at the Ersar family’s mansion not far from here.

After leaving the inn Leo saw a luxury hotel across from him.

There was a sense of bustling activity throughout.

The person who appeared to be the hotel owner was seen shaking his head towards the elves trying to use the hotel.

‘I guess they accept group guests over there too.’

Leo soon lost interest and headed to the Ersar family mansion.

Leo arrived at the mansion and reported the situation to Halind who was staying in the guest room.

“Once everyone has been assigned a room they are enjoying their free time.”

“You must have been dissatisfied with the accommodation.”

“Everyone was quiet because Professor Halind said he would let them sleep in the tent.”

    Halind sighed deeply.

    “Leo Plov.”

    “Yes Professor.”

“I know you are excellent as a class president.”

    “thank you.”

“But why are you putting your plans on me?”

“Isn’t it better to have a scary person play the original villain?”

Halind burst out laughing at Leo’s confident words.

I’ve been working at Lumern for a long time but I’ve never met a student like Leo.

4 I can’t believe that even 5th graders take advantage of their trembling selves in this way.

    ‘Are you fearless or bold?’

“i get it. You too take a break. “It would be a funny story if it spread because you couldn’t keep up with the schedule you made.”

    “yes.”

    Leo bowed his head.

As Leo was leaving the room an elf approached him.

    “Leo Plov.”

    “yes?”

An elf woman in a neat suit bowed her head politely.

“The matriarch would like to see Leo Plov.”

“When you say the head of the family do you mean Rune Ersar?”

    “yes.”

Leo followed behind the elf woman even though he had a puzzled expression on his face.

After a while an elf woman arrived at the office in the center of the mansion and knocked politely.

    “Please come in.”

The elf woman who opened the door with those words bowed her head.

When Leo entered the room he saw Rune doing his work.

“Welcome Leo. I’m sorry for calling you but I’m busy. Could you wait a moment? “If you’re really bored you can look around the office.”

Leo nodded as he looked at Rune who was talking non-stop while playing with his quill.

“it’s okay. “I’ll be watching so please take your time.”

After saying that Leo looked around the spacious office.

Ersar was the most historic family among the elves.

As such there were numerous Noble Phantasms hanging on the wall.

    Elf artisans.

Or as Leo was slowly looking at the items made by dwarven craftsmen his eyes stopped on an old dagger.

It was a strangely shaped dagger.

The blade was long enough to be called a dagger but the handle was long like a long sword.

In reality the ratio between the blade and the handle was close to 1:1.

    “Erquint?”

Rune who was busy doing his work also raised his head.

“How do you know Erquint? “The history of that item is only passed down to the heads of the Ersar family?”

“I once read a book in the Great Library of Lumern about a lost weapon that appears in legends and literature. “I’ve seen it there before… but I never dreamed it was a real thing.”

    Leo hastily made an excuse.

Erquint was a famous sword made by Dweno using star ore a rare ore containing the power of starlight.

It was originally given to Luna for self-defense in preparation for a melee but Luna gave the sword to her student Berkia.

And just before Kyle and his colleagues leave on their final expedition.

It was lost in the final battle against Tartarus.

It is certainly a legendary sword but it is something that most people do not even know exists.

    ‘It’s not real.’

The faint star mana felt was different from the real thing.

For some reason it seemed like there was only a shell.

“Is there such a book? Well Lumern is a hero academy. It’s a reward our family’s ancestor gained a long time ago when he conquered the world of Berkia’s heroes. “I am keeping it with great care as it was used by Berkia.”

‘So it felt like nothing but a shell was left.’

Weapons obtained through the World of Heroes cannot be used by anyone other than the conqueror.

    While Leo nodded.

After finishing work Rune approached me and offered me a seat on the guest sofa.

Leo sat down and Rune said as he got into the car himself.

“Halind heard about you. “All class?”

    “yes.”

“Besides you’re ranked first in the entire class among first-year Rumern students right?”

    “Yes.”

    “hmm.”

    Rune nodded.

Then he made a serious expression.

“I know it’s rude to ask for something like this when you first meet.”

    “What request?”

“Would you like to meet my granddaughter?”

Leo’s eyes widened at the sudden words.

    “What do you mean?”

“I’m asking you to stimulate your granddaughter.”

    Rune sighed deeply.

“My granddaughter is a first year student at Seilun. “It sounds like I’m bragging when I say this but… I was a talented child and entered Seilun with excellent grades.”

    Leo nodded.

“But as soon as I entered school I hit a wall.”

    “A wall?”

“okay. That kid knew he was a very talented kid. “He was always the best in his age group.”

The majority of Lumern students are like that.

“But the world is wide. “As soon as I entered Seilun I had to meet students with better grades than me.”

    “ah.”

Leo could understand that right away.

“Although he has a gloomy side he is still a conscientious child so his grades quickly improved. But it seems like they couldn’t get past just one person. After that I completely lost the will to study in Seirun.”

“I understand the story well. “But how can I meet my granddaughter in Seirun?”

“If I was in Seirun I wouldn’t have asked you to do it.”

    Rune covered his face.

“Now even though the semester is in the middle of the semester that child has come home and is stuck in the corner of the room.”

    Leo gave a dumbfounded look.

“No matter how much I tell him he keeps refusing to go to school.”

    “….”

“That’s why I’m asking you the first-year representative of Rumern a favor. “Can you stimulate that child?”

    ***

Seilun Academy categorizes students by grade and grades.

Half of them are very upset.

In the first year because the number of students is large students are divided into several classes according to grade.

Of course there is a difference in ability even among the same advanced class.

Among them the upper class was where only the best first-year students gathered.

The homeroom teacher in the advanced 1st class looked at the students sitting in their seats and said.

    “There is an announcement today.”

The students stood up straight and looked at the teacher.

“Starting today the advanced class will begin mission training.”

The upper class 1 students were shaken by those words.

    Mission practice?

At least the mission training was scheduled for the second semester.

“Don’t be nervous. “Isn’t it because the upper echelons of the school recognized the excellence of the upper-level classes?”

The first class students looked proud at the words of the elf teacher who grinned.

It was truly an honor for the family to be here.

    one side.

Runia the class president of Class 1 who should have been extremely excited was looking at the ceiling with a soulless expression.

His mind was filled with the name of only one person.

‘Leo Plov? What on earth are you doing? You’re such a thief that you stole my contractor! I can’t forgive… I can’t forgive.’

    Grumble!

    Runia’s eyes began to burn.

“So where is our advanced class 1 going?”

The elf teacher began writing the destination on the blackboard.

“This is Bercia from El Salvecia.”
