    463.

    Leo’s morning starts early.

A time that could easily be called dawn.

Leo left the dorm room and came down to the common room.

    “Good morning Leo.”

Chloe was coming down from the girls’ dormitory yawning slightly.

Chloe came down the stairs rubbing her eyes looking a little half-asleep.

This was one of the few times when Chloe who is usually not easy to notice showed herself relaxed.

With a slightly dazed look on his face he stretched out his hand to the table on one side of the table in the lounge.

The milk bottles provided to dormitory students every morning were piled up well.

Chloe’s eyes began to glow as she emptied a bottle of milk.

Chloe who came to her senses took a book and followed Leo out of the dormitory.

Leo practices early in the morning.

Chloe was going to read a book while smelling the morning air.

    Sweet-!

I opened the door and went out.

Next to the dormitory there was a mailbox for each dormitory student.

Leo and Chloe were able to find a specific mailbox filled with letters that seemed to explode.

    “Isn’t that your mailbox?”

Chloe asked with a puzzled face.

    “that’s right.”

Leo opened the mailbox with a puzzled look and checked the contents.

Chloe looked at the pretty handwriting on the colorful stationery and asked with a puzzled look on her face.

    “Are they all love letters?”

    “I think so.”

I usually receive letters regularly but this was on a completely different level than usual.

    Leo gave a dumbfounded look.

“There are quite a few letters from outside right?”

There are letters from daughters of prestigious families from other countries and even from people who appear to be princesses of some countries.

The cost of sending a letter to Lumern is quite expensive.

However all kinds of letters came to Leo from all over the world.

“Is it because you became a hero?”

Leo chuckled and responded that it was no big deal.

“Are you going to read it all?”

When Chloe asked with curiosity Leo shook his head.

    “no.”

Leo put the letter back in the mailbox and headed to the training hall for training.

“Aren’t you going to read in the garden?”

“huh. But the autumn breeze is cool so I’d like to change the mood a little today.”

Chloe followed Leo feeling uneasy for some reason.

    After a while.

“president! Is it because it’s the second semester? “I want to start my morning practice with a fresh start so can you help me?”

    “New magic training….”

“excuse me! I am! “I’m thinking about increasing my communication with spirits so I need some advice.”

The training center which was always quiet was filled with female students.

Chloe gaped as she watched the female students burning up their motivation the day after school started.

‘Yes the kids who have been paying attention until now will also act more blatantly.’

The words Illyana said yesterday flashed through Chloe’s mind.

‘Is this what you meant? ‘He’s usually clueless but he’s really quick about things like this.’

Chloe pressed her temples as she remembered Illyana who had predicted this incident and looked at Leo.

    Chloe’s eyes wavered slightly.

‘I know that Leo is not the type of person to be swayed by popularity or attention from female students.’

Since Leo is a human wouldn’t he be able to help but feel attracted to female students who approach him with a warm smile?

Even the female students who openly approached Leo had outstanding looks.

‘You said you were going to practice in the morning and you even put on makeup. Wow he’s even very exposed isn’t he?’

Muttering to herself Chloe glanced at Leo’s face.

Leo looking at the female students was smiling softly.

Chloe blinked as she looked at Leo’s face and left the gym without saying a word.

‘what? Chloe Müller. ‘You’re just leaving right?’

‘It was annoying because we were together since early morning.’

‘Is it going to fall out on its own?’

The female students were internally delighted when they saw Chloe like that.

“The enthusiasm from the morning is amazing.”

    Leo said with a smile.

“The desire to become stronger is great.”

“You’re working hard so we need to work hard too.”

One of the most mature-looking female students said elegantly brushing her hair.

    A somewhat sensual atmosphere.

    Leo smiled at that sight.

“I’ll have to do my best to help you too.”

“huh! “Before that I made this to give to you.”

“me too! It’s a stamina recovery potion made with fruit juice! “It must be delicious right?”

The girls took out bottles of soda and tried to give them to Leo.

“I have that. “Because you will need it more than me.”

    “what?”

The female students looked like they didn’t know what was going on.

“Well it’s also early in the morning. “Shall we start with some light physical training?”

    “Uh yeah.”

    “What is physical training?”

Even though they felt something was strange the female students were motivated.

If you want to somehow get Leo’s attention you have to look good.

    After a while.

    Wow!

The desperate screams of female students began to echo in the early morning.

Chloe who had been enjoying her morning reading while sitting on a bench in the Glory Garden and enjoying the autumn breeze glanced up and raised her head.

    “It’s too bad for everyone.”

    ***

    “Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.”

    Morning combat class.

As it was the first class of the second semester it was held in the main auditorium.

With all the second graders gathered Carl sat next to Leo with a mesmerized look on his face.

“Why are you having such a hard time in the morning? “Did you also receive special training from Leo?”

Chelsea who was sitting next to Leo giggled and asked.

The story of Leo giving group training to the female students who came to ask him to do their work in the early morning had already spread throughout the school.

“Do you know how much you’ve been tormented by not only the second graders but also the upper graders since morning?”

Carl answered with a face that seemed like his soul was about to fall out.

“The love potion that was all the rage last time. “There’s so much fuss about asking me to make it for you.”

“You banned the student council from making that strange medicine.”

    Chelsea frowned.

    Love potion.

It was a potion that caused quite a stir last semester when Carl made it using a recipe from Dweno’s Alchemy Book.

Although it was proven to be a failure at the time the student council banned the manufacture of the drug.

I didn’t want to be criticized by the student council for making an ineffective medicine so I stopped paying attention.

‘Well it was a complete success.’

It’s just that because it was a drug made with extreme Dweno sensibilities the effects were different from what people thought.

‘Anyway it’s a drug that causes many problems when used on students.’

“Your liver is too big. Who on earth commissioned it?”

“I don’t know either. The request was made anonymously. “Because of that I was busy reporting to the student council this morning.”

“What kind of idiot would want a drug like that?”

“She must be one of the girls targeting Leo.”

“Why are you suddenly targeting Leo by using illegal drugs?”

“Our innocent little girl still has a dark view of the world.”

“I will make your future dark.”

    “Kwaaagh-! Stop! Stop!”

Carl screamed and struggled as he saw Chelsea holding his face with both hands and squeezing his eyes with her thumbs.

said Carl who managed to escape Chelsea’s grasp.

“I guess that’s because Leo became a hero this time. Originally it was a lottery with a 100% chance of winning. Imagine if that lottery ticket went up to that amount. That’s huge too. If you can catch Leo your life will be turned around. “Wouldn’t the kids who were targeting Leo from the beginning become even more anxious?”

    Carl rested his chin.

“Leo isn’t it a waste? You can date as many kids as you like so why not enjoy a school life like something out of a novel? If you’re like me really. Big~”

    “It’s so bad.”

“Uh-huh! What a vulgar sound! I’m just recommending a healthy bittersweet yet thrilling and dangerous love between a man and a woman! “When are you going to try something like that as a student?”

    “It’s bad quality.”

“Hey Leo tell me. “Are you interested in that too?”

Carl spoke to Leo as if he felt unfair to Chelsea’s continued criticism.

    “Not really.”

    Leo grinned.

“Look at this. “Leo is different from you?”

“Why aren’t you interested? “You’re a man too!”

“Think of me as an adult with more experience than you think.”

“We’re the same age but we’re adults? Besides you who only study and train shouldn’t you have experienced it?”

Carl who knew Leo’s lifestyle well gave an expression of confusion.

But on the other hand Chelsea pursed her lips.

‘Now that you think about it Leo oppa is really a grown-up isn’t he?’

    A great hero in legend.

    not a student

‘Oh if you’re an adult of course.’

“Hey are you hurt? “Why is your face suddenly red?”

    “Oh it’s nothing?”

Chelsea shook her head in response to Carl’s question.

It was when Leo smiled while looking at Chelsea like that.

    Suddenly-!

“Gentlemen! “Did you have a good vacation?”

The door opened and Sedzen appeared.

“I know that some of these students had an elegant vacation!”

Sedjen said looking at the entire second year.

“It’s good to have experiences you didn’t have at that age. I hope everyone can use that experience as a foundation to take a bigger step forward! Students who can’t do that too don’t feel discouraged or shrink! “You guys are still so young!”

Mmmmm-! Sedgen who had been encouraging the students with his arms crossed widened his eyes.

“In that sense! “I will talk about the combat department practical evaluation for the second semester of the second year!”

At that declaration the students looked at Sedgen in silence.

I was already in my second year of school and I was having a hard time with my school life.

There was no reason to be surprised that the second semester practical evaluation was mentioned again from the first class.

    Then Duran raised his hand.

    “What! My favorite student! Duran!”

“Will the combat studies practice announced this time last until the midterm exams? Or is it the entire second semester?”

“This is an evaluation of the entire second semester. And from today second-year combat studies classes are self-study.”

The students looked surprised at those words.

    This is a bit unconventional.

Combat studies classes are as important as department classes.

Such classes are conducted independently throughout the second semester.

“Well actually the classes themselves in the second semester of the second year will have a strong nature of self-directed assignments.”

    Sedzen grinned.

“The second semester Combat Studies rank will be determined based on the commission points.”

    “That means….”

“That’s right. “Starting from the second semester you will begin to take on requests as hero candidates and be dispatched to various parts of the world!”

    ***

    “Wow that’s really unconventional.”

    After class it’s lunch time.

Carl stuck out his tongue at the restaurant in the square in front of the Tower of Heroes.

“I never thought the class itself would be conducted autonomously. “It’s a full 3rd year 1st semester course right?”

It is true that we begin taking on requests in earnest from the second semester of the second year.

However this is not an autonomous request.

Most of the time it ends with arranging a request suitable for a second grade level.

It may be different for some students but that’s only the case with top students.

In this way autonomy is not granted to the entire grade.

“Because the higher-ups have high expectations for our generation. Besides it seems like the professors thought we were at this level.”

Carl looked sad at Chelsea’s words.

“Can’t we be more considerate of students who are at the bottom?”

“Kal we will use your corpse as a stepping stone to advance.”

“Don’t kill others carelessly! “Don’t use it as a stepping stone!”

    Carl screamed.

“Anyway what is Leo doing on the bulletin board?”

Carl looked at Leo who was standing in front of the plaza bulletin board with a puzzled look on his face.

“I think you are looking at a request?”

“Aren’t most of the requests on the plaza bulletin board difficult to solve and with low scores?”

    “yes.”

“What is he looking at that for? You can probably pick any convenient quest. “I heard that escorting high-ranking people has high points and a high commission fee so there is absolutely no vacation.”

When Carl spoke as if he was jealous Chelsea responded while looking at the menu.

“Because you’re Leo you must have deep thoughts.”

While Chelsea and Carl are ordering.

In front of the bulletin board Leo was squinting his eyes as he looked at a request form.

The gray request was written as ‘Sweeping out grave robbers.’

At first glance it is an unremarkable request.

    but….

‘It’s disturbing that all the graves that were robbed were the tombs of heroes.’
