“Hey have you chosen a mentee?”

    “huh. yesterday.”

The main lecture room of the 2nd grade classroom building.

Today was the day of the joint hero studies class.

The second graders gathered in one place before class and were talking among their friends.

Naturally the topic of discussion over the past few days has been the newly introduced mentee system.

And before I knew it there was less than a day left to choose a mentee and mentor.

Most second-year students who were interested in accepting mentees had first-year juniors as mentees.

“What about you? “Didn’t you say I was cocky and not that good?”

“I did! But listen! At first I thought it was arrogant! “When we talked a little bit yesterday I thought it was quite cute that your eyes were sparkling right?”

The second year students were busy talking about the juniors they had as mentees.

Chelsea said in amazement as she watched them chatting happily.

    “The response was surprisingly good.”

“It has to be that way.”

“huh? What does that mean? Brother Leo?”

“Think about when we were freshmen.”

Carl who was with me crossed his arms.

“Are you so scared that you even made eye contact with your seniors?”

“huh? You weren’t scared at all? “On the contrary he was very kind.”

“This is why the heroes of the famous clan.”

    Carl made a miserable expression.

Chelsea who was contemplating with her index finger in her mouth nodded.

“I see. “The kids in my class were definitely afraid of their seniors.”

The department with the tightest hierarchy among riders is the Summoning Department.

However although not as much there were many cases in other departments where students did not dare to speak to their seniors at the beginning of the semester.

“When I was a freshman I was busy adjusting to school life and looking at what my seniors thought. “Second graders don’t see any reason to become friends with first graders who won’t be surprised if they leave school at any time.”

    Carl rested his chin.

“That’s why apart from my classmates we haven’t become close friends even though we’ve been seeing each other for the longest time. In the worst case relationships between grades often worsen. Isn’t that the case just looking at the 4th and 5th grade seniors? “I can’t say that we have a very good relationship with our third-year seniors.”

In Rumern there were many times when the relationship between seniors and juniors of the same rider was extremely bad.

The current 5th graders are not on good terms with the 4th graders who have been threatening their position led by Elena the so-called Queen of Lumern.

The same goes for current 2nd and 3rd graders.

Leo and Lil the class representatives did not get along well but the current third graders regarded the current second graders the so-called golden generation as a thorn in their eyes.

It wasn’t until first year that I was nervous about what my seniors thought but now that I’m in second year there are many students who have quite a bit of resistance towards third year students.

“We had a chance to get to know the first-year students before that happened.”

There will be no separation until at least the first semester.

As a result it was easy for the second-year students to become attached to the first-year students.

“Originally kids are weak to the word ‘senior’ and want to take care of their juniors.”

Leo said with a grin and Carl made a bewildered expression.

    “Aren’t you a kid?”

“Sometimes Leo speaks too much like an old man.”

    Chelsea also shrugged her shoulders.

“class monitor! You can’t be friends with kids from other dorms! “They might try to steal information about our dormitory!”

At that time Illyana suddenly ran up and said.

Chelsea and Carl looked at Illyana with a sour expression.

“How do you get information out of Leo?”

“Yeah a fool like you wouldn’t know.”

“class monitor! “They call me stupid!”

Illyana cried and complained to Leo.

    “It’s true.”

“Tade! “Are you doing that too?”

“But it’s still crowded and there’s a lot of noise.”

Tade approached with a warning and Nella who came with her smiled her characteristic languid smile.

Six key members of class 5 first grade gathered together for the first time in a long time.

“Anyway have you all decided on a mentee?”

As Tade asked crossing his arms Illyana made a proud expression.

“of course! “I decided on a boy named Austin!”

“Austin? “Is this your first time hearing this name?”

“Department of knighthood or department of magic?”

Nella and Tade tilted their heads.

Since Illyana is a top 2nd grader she can select a famous 1st grader.

However when I heard that I had an unknown first-year student as a mentee I couldn’t help but be curious.

“It’s a magic swordsman. Heh! Don’t be surprised when you hear this! “I am a former Jerdinger trainee and a member of the Prefect’s Knights!”

    Illyana made a proud expression.

“If you are a subordinate of the class leader and are likely to be advised to drop out wouldn’t the class president grab you by the collar and train you?”

“How is it that he’s so stupid normally but he’s so smart about things like that?”

As Carl admired Illyana she became enraged.

“hey! I’m smart! “He’s an honor student isn’t he?”

“Then what do you do? “He’s just ignorant.”

    “On the topic of knives!”

Illyana got angry and attacked Kal but was caught by Nella.

Leo who was watching the scene said.

“I’ll warn you but you’re not going to take care of anything because I’m a member of my knights right?”

    “omg?!”

    Illyana stiffened.

“I will give them some advice but I will leave their training up to them. “Austin will also want to survive in Rumern on his own.”

    “Uuuuuuuuuck!”

Illyana screamed while clutching her head.

Others ignoring Illyana continued the conversation.

    “What about you Nella?”

“I received two people as juniors in the knight department. “What about Teid?”

    “I am a transformation surgeon.”

Taide looked at the three people.

“You don’t have one yet right? “Carl you’ll think no one wants to mentor you.”

    “Don’t talk. “It’s heartbreaking.”

    Carl looked depressed.

“Now that I think about it dormitory leaders are surprisingly not accepting mentees right?”

    Nella looked curious.

“We the class president are the center of the commotion. Chloe said she would select students who submitted book reports today. I heard that Chen Xia received quite a few people?”

Nella tilted her head in response to Illyana’s answer.

“Chen Xia is surprising. “It turned out that he was from the shadows so I thought he wouldn’t exist but it seems that’s not the case.”

    “huh.”

‘Although most of them are shadow candidates.’

    Leo muttered to himself.

    “What about you Chelsea?”

“I wasn’t planning on getting it in the first place and Celia is choosing carefully. And Warrenden.”

    Chelsea crossed her arms.

“There are a lot of kids who want to be mentees? Of course Wareden doesn’t seem to think anything of it.”

Wareden’s elemental magic which uses spirits to activate magical techniques was very unconventional.

Of course it is the result of Warrenden’s own talent and sense but it is an impossible area without an in-depth understanding of elemental arts.

As such there were a lot of first-year elemental arts majors who wanted to receive Wareden’s guidance.

    “How about Noble?”

    “Onii-sama already received it.”

    “Abad? who is this?”

It was Karl who answered Illyana’s question.

    “A guy named Fritz.”

“Is this your first time hearing this name? Why did you get it? “Are your skills great?”

“Skills are skills but the reason Abad accepted him as a mentee is because of his magic.”

    Carl explained.

“He used magic through his blood.”

“blood? “It’s a very rare trait isn’t it?”

“huh. Because of that my brother suggested to me as a mentee that he wanted to do research.”

‘Your characteristics are interesting. ‘I’d like to do some research. Would you like to be my mentee?’

    ‘Of course.’

Fritz is said to have responded by adjusting his glasses with his characteristic expressionless face as he looked at Abad offering advice with his characteristic gentle smile.

“Hoohoho. That’s unusual! “What about Duran and Eliza?”

    Carl shrugged his shoulders.

“Our prince there are a ton of requests for mentors. But you know my personality well right? I don’t even care if no one is attracted to me. And Eliza…”

The sword that spoke up to that point is pooh-pooh! and covered his mouth.

“Not a single first-year student asks for a mentor?”

“Not even one? “You’re not refusing?”

    Everyone looked surprised.

“It has to be that way. “He’s famous for his personality right?”

“But he has a dirty personality just as much as Durando right?”

Carl chuckled as Chelsea tilted her head as if she didn’t understand.

“Duran is well-known for being an honor student right? But Eliza is a bad student with good grades so who would want to be her mentee? I’m afraid that if I become a mentee for no reason I’ll be treated like a servant so I don’t even go around people. Puhahahahahaha! “I’m in the same situation…”

    Shirrick! Sigh!

    “You… wow!!”

A whip suddenly flew out and wrapped around Carl’s neck.

Everyone’s eyes turned to the person holding the whip.

Eliza was there with a bright red face and her shoulders shaking.

    “Follow me.”

    “Help me too!”

Eliza raised her eyes and dragged the white knife.

A moment later a desperate scream rang out.

“Leo aren’t you going to accept anyone as a mentee?”

“Chelsea you. “Aren’t you worried about Carl?”

When Tade asked with a puzzled look on his face Chelsea grinned.

“The sword’s vitality is persistent. “He’ll come back fine in a little while.”

    Everyone nodded at Chelsea’s words.

“The class president’s popularity has waned hasn’t it?”

At first most first-year students rushed to become Leo’s mentees.

However up to now only a few students have attempted to become Leo’s mentee.

He gave up thinking that it was impossible to hit Leo effectively.

“At that time there were only five kids who had patience. “If you’re thinking of taking on a mentee why don’t you accept him at this point?”

Leo said in response to Illyana’s words.

“I don’t need a mentee. It’s them who need me. “You have to get what you need for yourself.”

    “that’s right. that’s right.”

It was when Chelsea nodded in agreement with Leo’s words.

    Squeak-

The door to the main lecture room opened and someone came in.

Then the students quickly sat down.

And then I turned my head.

A professor I had never seen before was coming in.

    “Who is that professor?”

    “Is this the new professor?”

First of all she was an amazing beauty.

    Rare silver hair and eyes.

An atmosphere that gives an overall warm impression and provides peace of mind.

But what stood out the most was the eyepatch over his left eye.

“You’re Professor Mel right? “Why is he there?”

Carl who had been trampled by Eliza widened his eyes.

    Eliza stopped and asked.

    “Do you know someone?”

    “huh. Utcha.”

Karl said as he got up and dusted his clothes.

“I know you are a first-year magic professor but why did you join the second-year heroics class?”

Mel standing in front of the teacher’s table smiled.

“nice to meet you. everyone. “My name is Mel and I’m the professor in charge of magic theory for first-year students and a special lecture on heroism for all grades.”

    Clap clap clap clap-

The second graders looked amazed as they applauded Mel’s introduction.

Usually Professor Rumerne is in charge of only one subject.

But you’re a first-year magic theory professor and in charge of a special hero studies class for all grades?

‘How well-versed are you in heroics?’

Everyone looked at Mel with curious eyes.

    Heroology.

In this era where hero records exist it is a study that is more important than any other.

And the place that can be said to be the mecca of heroism is the Hero Academy.

It was clear that he was a person with great knowledge to the point where he was even invited specially from Lumern one of the hero military academies.

Mel smiled and opened the subspace.

And left the cookies on the table.

The fragrant scent of cookies spread throughout the classroom.

The girls’ eyes sparkled and they paid attention to the cookie bowl Mel had taken out.

My sense of smell and senses strengthened by Rumern’s dessert were speaking.

‘Those cookies… they look really delicious.’

Mel pulled out a chair and sat down wiggling her legs.

“Are any students curious about me?”

Several students raised their hands at the same time in response to that question.

    “Your student Duran Moira.”

Mel who knew the faces and names of all the second graders smiled and gave the question to Duran who was the first to raise his hand.

“You said you were giving a special lecture on heroism… What kind of heroes are you giving a lecture on?”

“I’m planning to give a lecture on heroes who were active during the Gaebyeok era.”

    Mel said calmly.

But all the second graders were shocked.

    The era of Gaebyeok.

The era after the great heroes defeated Erebos is called the Age of Heroes.

However the hero’s era is also divided into early and late periods.

    And in between.

This very short period of time was called Gaebyeok.

An era in which it was known that a world of heroes existed which could be said to be the true power of Hero Records.

“Now wait a minute! “If you could give me a lecture on the era of Gaebyeok…!”

In the Age of Heroes many heroes were born.

But among them there are five very special heroes.

Heroes born in the era of Gaebyeok.

They are called the heroes of the new era and like great heroes there are only five of them.

    “that’s right.”

    Mel grinned.

“The heroes I will be lecturing about are the Dragon of the Beginning the Knight of Dusk the Wizard of the Comet the Great Warrior and Indomitable.”

The second graders swallowed their dry saliva.

    Misread-

Mel continued speaking after taking a bite of the cookie.

“First of all the first class is about the founder of this school you are attending. Wouldn’t it be better to talk about Rumern the Twilight Knight?”
