I Became a Law School Genius – 6

I Became a Genius Law School Student Episode 6
Before Shin Seojun could respond he abruptly put his plate down on the table.
The menu is the same as mine Oven Chicken Gratin.
It was natural since it was the food he enjoyed eating in the original work.
“…I ate almost everything.”
“It will only take a moment. “I also tend to eat quite quickly.”
Despite the sharp refusal Shin Seo-jun sat down regardless and took a sip of the gratin and stuffed it into his mouth.
This guy looked elegant like a medieval nobleman but his demeanor was quite down to earth.
“You’re Park Yu-seung right? My name is Shin Seo-jun and I gave a presentation on the same issue in Class 1 Criminal Law class earlier. “I was really… impressed by what I heard.”
“I just got lucky.”
“At most I thought it was just a matter of checking the level of good conduct by asking whether they knew about defamation but I never thought they would have double-hidden other issues. It was only after hearing it that I regretted it. I thought this was the definition of ‘genius’ haha.”
Shin Seo-jun joked affably.
This was also his favorite tactic.
Because they know how much they are envied and admired by people they do not hesitate to humble themselves and put gold on the faces of others.
‘I can’t believe such a great guy acknowledges me!’ This is to make the excited partner easily like you.
Honestly I felt good too.
It was quite a thrilling experience to have the original protagonist who had watched and envied me through the screen praise my solution.
But you shouldn’t skip it.
“I’m busy so get to the point first.”
“Oh excuse me.”
Even though he was deliberately adopting a more rude attitude Shin Seojun just smiled without changing his expression.
Someone who doesn’t know you might think that you have a really nice personality but that’s not surprising.
Shin Seo-jun was not the type of main character who lived the right lifestyle.
Rather it might be the other way around.
“Mr. Park Yu-seung.”
Shin Seojun narrowed his eyes.

“What kind of person is a good lawyer?”
The testing look in his eyes flew sharply and stuck.
‘…this.’
I know this question.
‘This is the question asked to Han Seol in the original work.’
In fact Shin Seo-jun did not enter law school purely to study law.
It is a fact revealed as the original story progresses but he had a special ‘purpose’ for entering Hankuk University Law School.
For him his relationships with other members were ultimately nothing more than a long-term quest to achieve his goal.
Shin Seo-jun looked for people he could use while hiding his intentions behind a grumpy face.
If you fall under his radar you will inevitably become involved in the main story.
In the tension-filled suspense where people are dying and school staff are being held as suspects.
That couldn’t be possible.
Don’t I have a dream that I want to achieve?
It’s a far-off goal that I’m not sure if I’ll achieve it even if I just focus on studying.
There was no time to intervene in a scenario that Shin Seo-jun would solve on his own if left alone.
So I blurted out.
“He’s good at law.”
“…What if he uses his power and knowledge for something unjust?”
“Being good at law is justice.”
Shin Seojun’s eyebrows twitched.
For a split second an expression of disappointment crossed his face.
“…Is that so?”
This is it.
In the original Han Seol answered ‘A person who applies principles fairly to everyone’ but ended up getting caught in Shin Seo-jun’s net.
The sense of justice of prospective law students was his favorite and favorite prey.
Shin Seo-jun who had drastically reduced his ability to talk finished the gratin at a speed that made it hard to tell whether he was eating or drinking it and then left with a greeting “Well it was a good meal.”
For now I survived.
“Uhm….”
Even if it is to avoid a situation it still feels bad to talk about absurdity.
No matter what anyone says I dreamed of becoming a prosecutor because I wanted the world to run properly.
So I said that.
‘Being good at law is justice.’
That is correct.
If you are an unjust person you are not truly good at law.

The results of the first test have been announced.
They said that in just a few days they had graded not only multiple choice questions but also case questions requiring tens of thousands of characters of answers per person.

Are all Korean law school professors monsters?
In the meantime several civil law criminal law and constitutional law classes passed.
Every time the professor asked a question Hanseol raised his hand and shouted out the correct answer. Thanks to this our group was accumulating points smoothly.
Even though the other one still didn’t show up for class… it wasn’t a big problem since Hanseol was making at least three servings.
“Wow Shin Seojun is in first place again?”
“They say he graduated from the top of the police academy. “It’s just that the driving force itself is different from us.”
“The second seat is Han Seol. “This guy is really pretty.”
I glanced in the direction where the students were making noise.
The ‘announcement’ of the first test results was not done in a lukewarm manner such as individual notification or confirmation through website login.
Instead Korea University Law School used a method that was far more blatant cruel and shady in intent.
A hallway wall surrounded by students.
There there was a poster with the first test scores and rankings of all prospective students from 1st to 150th printed in a row.
1st place. Seojun Shin
2nd place. snow
3rd place. Jeong Min-sik
.
.
.
These are the aspects we have been familiar with since the original work.
For your information my name was located far away from the top shining like a star.
139th place. Park Yu-seung
… It was something that could not be helped.
Because I took the entire multiple choice question and threw it away.
Physically you don’t have to get a good score to be successful.
Rather I should be proud of the fact that I beat 11 people purely with the score I received from the case study.
“Oh is there a percentage of correct answers for each question?”
“Look at the correct answer rate for number 4 in the multiple choice question. 13%? “What’s the answer to that?”
“What was number 4… statute of limitations? “I don’t know because I took a picture of that too.”
The members exchanged stories that I didn’t know.
I couldn’t follow the multiple-choice questions because I hadn’t even read them.
At first glance the quality of the questions seemed good but I will have to read the basics later and solve them for final inspection.
“Wow is there a score distribution table for case types? “I guess the professors here are really serious about the exam.”
As one student pointed out what was on the poster was not just the percentage of correct answers to multiple-choice questions.
For a total of 8 case questions a score distribution table showing the highest and lowest scores for each question was attached.
“What is case number 8? “The score is out of 20 but only one person scored 18 and almost all of the others scored 9 below.”
“Doesn’t this mean that only one person got the correct answer and the rest were all bullshit?”
“What was the 8 gate? “I don’t think the case was that difficult…”
“Isn’t that it? That third party fraudulent cancellation issue?”
“what. Wasn’t that an easy question to throw at you? “Is there some kind of trap?”
From that point on a fairly academic discussion ensued but it was not easy to agree on what the correct answer was.
Instead there is only one proposition that everyone agrees on.
Those 18 points are definitely Shin Seojun!
“No I’m not.”
But Shin Seo-jun shook his head.
“When I heard that my grades were good I went to the professor and asked him to criticize my answer. He took out my answer sheet and showed it to me pointing out all the mistakes. “The score I received from question 8 was 11 points.”
The students stuck their tongues out.
While we are talking about the poster he goes to the professor and asks for feedback.
Indeed when you do something like that people say you are a senior.
But even Shin Seo-jun couldn’t get the answer right.
One after another they turned to Han Seol and Jeong Min-sik but they were also not the protagonists of the 8th highest score.
“hey. “By any chance… is that you?”
Hanseol asked me with a puzzled expression.
“Isn’t it?”
“…I guess so. “What was I thinking…”
Oh actually it’s me.
Of course I didn’t say it out loud.
It’s strange to anyone that 139th place is the only one with the correct answer.
He almost aroused suspicion on Han Seol with his previous performance but there was no reason for him to come forward.
In any case there was only one thing that could be said for certain.
The first test was a failure.
Very miserable!
Therefore in order to get a final grade in the free trial you had to get an even better score in the group evaluation and the second test taken right before the end of the free trial.
Although Hanseol is doing very well in the group evaluation the problem lies in the second test.
There are less than two weeks left until the end of the freelo semester but unlike the first the second exam covers the entire range of civil law and general criminal law.
It was a test that other students could not prepare for perfectly.
But wasn’t I in a position where I had to get top grades?
In the end they said that I had to study until I die.
Let’s go back and study. It was the moment I made up my mind and turned around.
“No who is this?”
A very sarcastic voice came from behind me.
“You are Teacher Park Yoo-seung the worst bastard ever produced by the business school’s shameful Gwanak Mountain.”
When I looked back it was the same face I saw in the original.
“Who are you?”
“It’s Bae Hyeon-joong! “You’re not going to pretend you don’t know!”
Ah I remembered when I heard the name.
Bae Hyun-joong like Park Yoo-seung was a character written as an expendable villain.
The difference is that Bae Hyun-joong studied well and appeared in more episodes than Park Yoo-seung.
Although it was the same in the end he was eliminated by Shin Seo-jun and left the story.
But that was my memory as a reader and I didn’t know if Park Yoo-seung had any contact with him.
If I were to be specific I think Bae Hyeon-joong also graduated from the same business administration department as Park Yoo-seung and Han Seol…
When I shrugged my shoulders Bae Hyeon-joong got angry and shouted.
“A dog like a dog! “It makes no sense for someone like you to be at Hankuk University Law School!”
“No but it’s in.”
“under. “He must have committed some kind of corruption in the entrance exam.”
‘Is it true?’
For a moment I thought it was persuasive.
Only those with the highest GPA and LEET scores the entrance test could enter Hankuk University Law School.
The same was true for the law school that serves as a realistic model for Korean University law schools.
It was a bit unreasonable for a true loser like Park Yoo-seung to enter the school.
But what can you do? The writer put it in or did I put it in?
When I didn’t respond Bae Hyun-joong became even more excited and continued his attack.
“139th place? “If I’m going to get a rank like that I’m going to drop out.”
“So what rank are you?”
“I’m in 37th place!”
“…It hurts a bit.”
It may seem like an awkward ranking but we must not forget that this is Korea University Law School home to some of the nation’s leading monsters.
This level was at a level that even the top three law firms and law clerks could aim for.
Of course this is assuming that the current grades last until the end.
“of course. “I was born different from an inferior trash like you.”
Bae Hyeon-joong chuckled.
Yes Bae Hyeon-joong was this kind of character.
He was a man who was infinitely servile towards people who were better than him but he treated those who he considered to be of a lower ‘level’ than him.
It was so funny that I said something.
“If you’re so superior you shouldn’t have answered me earlier. “Open your eyes and don’t lose points to the 139th-ranked guy.”
“That’s…!”
Bae Hyeon-joong’s face turned red.
It’s not that it wasn’t it was something that would hurt his pride.
None of those present could answer Jang Yong-hwan’s question.
Except Shin Seojun and me.
It is understandable that he is pushed out by Shin Seo-jun.
However it must have come as a huge shock to him that I had solved a problem that he could not answer.
So much so that I want to deny reality.
“Ha Hanseol! okay. Seol a fellow member of the group must have told you! “You didn’t answer it yourself!”
Perhaps because of that Bae Hyeon-joong became angry.
“Hey is he calling you ‘Seol’? “Do you know him?”
“You don’t know? When he was in undergrad he got criticized for asking me to do work. “They still go around like that.”
When I quietly whispered to Han Seol who was next to me the same whispered reply came back.
Ah something like that.
Bae Hyun-joong who saw that looked as if his insides were burning.
“…Seol is going through a lot of hardships too. I ended up being in the same group as that kind of loser and forced myself to take care of him. Instead of that I’m holding a study session this time…”
“hey.”
Han Seol cut off Bae Hyun-joong’s words.
“I think you’re mistaken but I’m not forcing you to go out with him right? Of course it would have been much better if we had been in the same group as someone else but at least Park Yoo-seung proved his worth.”
“Were you thinking that way? “It’s touching.”
I didn’t know that Hanseol would voluntarily protect me.
It seems like a phrase was inserted in the middle that would have been better without it but anyway.
“And you don’t belong to that other person.”
Rejection like a knife.
It was a moment when the inequality between Park Yoo-seung and Bae Hyun-joong was clearly declared.
“…What a piece of trash. “I just finished roasting and boiling the good Seol.”
Unfortunately Bae Hyun-joong did not even listen.
“Just wait and see. “The days of trusting only Seol and hiding behind his back to earn points will soon end.”
With those words left Bae Hyun-joong gritted his teeth and left.
“…the food tastes really bad.”
Han Seol grumbled while looking at the back.
