The Genius Wizard Who Takes Medicine Episode 601
Pieces and Parts (3)
When Lennok drew blood and wrote it down in his notebook he did not use blood without thinking.
A feeling of foreignness in which the presence itself has been somewhat distorted through the targeting resistance ability that exists as a unique talent of Lennok and the consciousness of foreign sources.
The situation is somewhat different from when vampires like Madame or Murphy ask for their own blood.
Moreover he was confident that if he used blood through this artifact Lennok’s secret would never be discovered.
But I never thought that the being beyond this notebook would misunderstand Lennok as an ascendant.
“It means that even if you don’t know who I am you can guess my history to some extent through my blood.”
Lennok was lost in thought.
“Which one…?”
The outer city and military command city mentioned by Madame as a candidate site for storing Kaise’s body.
Is it ironic that even at this point both cities still have some potential?
If it were a remote city where long-lived species lived it would not be strange if Lennok felt a sense of déjà vu comparable to that of the Ascended in his blood.
Also in a military city that observes all spirituality in the world it is understandable that it succeeded in detecting Lennok’s transcendental spirituality.
Apart from the fact that people over there clearly misunderstand Lennok as an ascendant it is difficult to guess the opponent’s identity based on this alone.
[What should I do?]
“How to do it.”
If you’re going to correct the other person’s misunderstanding or just quietly withdraw you haven’t even started.
“There’s no reason to tell you it’s wrong.”
If the opponent misunderstands Lennok as an ascendant just take full advantage of that fact without causing any damage.
Rather it wouldn’t be a bad idea to test how far you can tell secrets to Lennok just because the other person is an ascendant.
Lennok took another dab of blood from the back of his hand and immediately raised the pen.
[I heard that Kaise’s body is being kept there.]
[After Faud’s rebellion the higher-ups decided to change the location of Bajur’s body.]
The answer came right away.
[The location was selected with the cooperation of the bloodletting official and the storage method was decided with the advice of Grimulder.]

“….”
[The name of the manager currently storing the body is Eridnich. He was the 8th person to take over the job following Madeleine and Jovensson.]
The other person may have thought that Lennok was asking a question as an ascendant so he spewed out a lot of information with one keyword.
The explanation was much more detailed than expected so much so that it was difficult to understand who was who even after hearing the name.
It was only assumed that they were people who had cooperated with Kaise’s project decades ago.
“He’s the 8th manager….”
Madame did not tell us how many times she had been in charge of taking care of Kaise’s body.
However even considering that isn’t it worth remembering that the successor in charge of Kaise’s body changed eight times?
This is difficult to understand unless the manager’s job itself is very difficult or there is a specific task that requires changing managers periodically.
[This wad of paper is much more obedient than I thought.]
“I don’t have much time. “Let’s move on to the most important question.”
The sentence Lennok had written immediately disappeared and a new sentence immediately began to appear beneath it.
[Looking for Kaise’s body. Where is it?]
[Ascended unfortunately I do not know the answer.]
“….”
Lennok silently locked eyes with Dabi blinked and slowly wrote the next sentence.
[Tell me the reason.]
[Because the discussion about it started and was completely concluded before I recreated it.]
Lennok who did not understand what he was saying paused his pen for a moment and the sentence came back to him.
[I cannot access information from a time zone in which I did not exist through my authority. sorry.]
It was made. It didn’t exist.
Lennok who belatedly realized what those words meant slowly moved his pen again.
[What is your name and identity?]
[I am Jable.]
The notebook answered.
[This is the Book of Blood which was designated as a banned book hundreds of years ago and was then re-created by vampires 50 years ago.]
“….”
Only then did Lennok realize that the person he had been talking to was not a human and he laughed.
Self-intelligence as an artifact that records and manages information through this notebook.
It had awakened after drinking Lennok’s blood and was talking directly to him and explaining the necessary information.
“Dabi you knew.”
[The speed of communication was too regular for an organism to transmit messages.]
When Dabi referred to the other person as a wad of paper it was not simply a complaint based on appearance but a reference that penetrated the essence.
Meanwhile letters began to appear sparsely at the bottom of the notebook’s paper.
[There is not much time. If you want to use the remaining permissions again you must go through additional preheating….]
“….”
Does this mean that there is a set time for which this notebook can be used regardless of whether it appears in Lennok’s favor?

Lennok wasted no time in selecting from his notebook a question that could be drawn most efficiently.
[A schedule for a gathering of two or more project stakeholders. State the location and date of your most recent appointment.]
[….]
Before long a new sentence began to appear at the bottom of the notebook paper.
His sentences seem to be cut short as if he has run out of energy and his tone of voice has become short.
[Two months later. Area 6.]
“…District 6?”
It is one of the central areas designated as closed areas and is a place where a large amount of past administrative documents that have been processed by the city government are stored.
An area I had previously visited in person with the help of Palad Okon during the National Guard incident.
Compared to other closed areas accessibility was relatively good and it was also an area that was open to outsiders.
Thanks to his past activities in this area Lennok was selected as a member of the team to solve the radiation exposure phenomenon in Area 25 so it should be said that this is a place where we are connected in many ways.
“It’s a bloody battle….”
Did Madame know that the notebook that called itself Zaible had this ability?
No Madame is not so insensitive to gain that she readily gives me a notebook in which I answer with my own will.
The notebook that drank Lennok’s blood must have voluntarily brought out its intelligence and attempted to communicate with Lennok.
As a result should it be said that it was a benefit in itself that Zable mistook Lennok for an ascendant?
“It won’t be something that spits out information without getting anything in return. “For that to be the case the activation conditions and magical power were too low.”
Lennok muttered as he closed the notebook and put it in his arms.
“It would be correct to think of it as a memory device that can record and reproduce only specific themes or lines.”
[If it calls itself a blood story it would probably have a theme about the blood of life.]
And that would be evidence that the way Kaise’s body was stored in the Black Consumer Project is still strongly related to blood.
He would have to check the details by testing the notebook more but for now Lennok decided to be satisfied with the clues he needed to track down the body.
“It’s fun. “Kaise’s body may be in another city but the traces of Kaise himself remain in Machine City.”
Although the Black Consumer Project clearly took place in a large city traces of its failure are scattered throughout the continent.
Lennok muttered quietly as he watched the cargo truck approaching from afar.
“Then I have no choice but to see it with my own eyes.”
A blueprint of a huge room drawn in Kaise’s research journal.
The coordinates of the machine city Machina and the Ascension Gate project that had already failed once in Machina.
One step toward answering a question that has been buried for a long time.
Preparation is over. Now it was time to find the answer.
Good!!
The shape of an old cargo truck stopped in front of Lennok.
A scruffy man who was glaring at Lennok with his bewildered eyes with his arms draped over the driver’s seat asked in a sharp tone.
“What about tickets?”
“doesn’t exist. “Do you want to check that?”
The transportation to Machina chosen by Lennok is not for those who have tickets and are treated as proper guests of the city.
Rather it is an unauthorized transit service for those who want to somehow return to Machina without even having a ticket to enter the city.
This is because I thought there was no reason to leave traces as I was leaving to find traces of Kaise.
Therefore Lennok lied and said that they did not have tickets even though he obtained tickets through Dabi’s ability.
The man snorted at Lennok’s question.
“This question is the most convenient way to confirm that you are a guest so don’t worry about it.”
“….”
The man gestured towards the truck bed as if he was annoyed.
“There’s no time so get on quickly. “It will take a long time to get to Machine City.”
Lennok who expertly adjusted his coat and hid Dabi’s figure in his arms smiled faintly as he stood up.
“Sure.”
* * *
Fluffy!!!
I spent several days riding in an old truck without knowing the time.
Before we knew it Lennok had left the huge city and had arrived on the other side of a vast endless wilderness.
The car stops occasionally people get off and the car starts to pick up new people.
The journey to the machine city of Machina was longer and more boring than expected.
Passengers are dragged out like living pieces of luggage in a narrow old truck that can carry fifteen people at once.
Among them there were a few whose faces Lennok remembered.
‘I see the faces I saw on the bounty book.’
[Meanwhile there are some friends whose bounties have increased even more.]
Naturally most of those who try to enter Machina without a ticket are dishonest criminals or fugitives.
Even in the shadows of the Balkans there are only those who have lost all support and are trying to start over in a new city or are so cornered that they cannot even think about it.
“It’s all gone right? Then let’s go!!”
A truck departs at the same time as the middle-aged man behind the wheel shouts.
They don’t wait for an answer or check all the passengers.
The sight of a vehicle running as if all it wanted was to somehow escape this boring wilderness.
“You’re dressed pretty neatly bro.”
Someone sitting next to me spoke to Lennok who was quietly thinking while looking out the window.
An old man with white hair was smiling while holding a dusty bottle of alcohol.
“If you behave like that it will be difficult to reach Machina safely.”
“….”
This is a face that was on the bounty list in my memory. Bounty of 9 million cells. The charge is arson and murder.
“You don’t seem to know but this car is not designed to safely transport people without tickets to Machine City.”
The old man looked at his surroundings and whispered quietly.
“It is a type of product for sale that benefits from various ‘commercial activities’ while traveling to Machina.”
“It’s a product for sale.”
“okay. “Do you see those idiots who get off and walk away from here because they think it’s a waste of money?”
The old man chuckled as he watched people trudging outside the window.
“We should be thankful to those guys. “We will be safe until those idiots give up their lives.”
“….”
Instead of answering Lennok stared at the right arm that the old man was secretly hiding while clinging to Lennok.
The telltale shape of a mechanical arm peeking through old clothes.
Lennok checked it smiled and asked the old man.
“Why are you telling me this?”
“People like you who have a neat demeanor usually have something they trust.”
The old man said without hiding his groveling smile.
“I’m not hoping for anything big. “I just want to make at least a hill to hide in case something happens.”
Unfortunately the old man’s wish did not come true.
After a night in the truck the next day the sun rose the old man sitting next to me had disappeared.
“….”
Instead other passengers looked at Lennok with unusual gaze from the surrounding seats.
It’s not just about looking at Lennok’s thoughts it’s even looking back at him with a strange expression on his face.
Lennok knew that but instead of worrying about it he closed his eyes and concentrated on reflecting on his unfinished magic research.
As Dabi learned how to use common magic to some extent Lennok resumed his research on common magic which he had stopped for a while.
Correlation between unique magic and common magic. Dexter and Sinister. Since that concept is not used in this world Lennok was also put aside.
In a way isn’t public magic the only knowledge of the old world that Lennok had from the beginning?
Considering the value of old world relics and knowledge in this world it is clear that there is still room for exploration of Lennok’s public magic.
There is plenty of room for development. There are ample opportunities to incorporate Lennok’s achievements so far.
What was needed immediately was time to delve deeper into the magic of the Old World.
Boo!!
As the day changes the number of passengers in the truck continues to change.
It increases and decreases repeatedly but Lennok realizes that as the days go by the number of passengers ultimately decreases.
Front and rear seats of Lennok. The person sitting in the passenger seat and the innocent-looking passenger who seemed more unaware of the situation than Lennok disappeared overnight.
And one day Lennok woke up and opened his eyes.
Lennok found himself and the driver alone in the old truck.
“….”
Buaaaa!!
The driver turns the steering wheel around a curved road as if he doesn’t have anything else to worry about.
I could vaguely see the shape of a city on the horizon in the distance but the driver didn’t seem interested in going to the city anymore.
Good!!
Eventually the driver who parked his car near a valley lined with huge rock formations got out of the car and nodded to Lennok.
“Get down.”
“….”
Without another word Lennok got up from his seat got out of the truck and stretched out.
A remote plain where all the surrounding scenery is hidden between high rock formations.
Dozens of people riding on the rocks surrounding an old truck were looking down at Lennok with slanted gazes.
“Are you this guy?”
“I’m sure. “It smells like money.”
“It looked neat but….”
Lennok asked leisurely stretching his neck and relaxing as he watched the people whispering among themselves.
“It seems like there isn’t much left until the Machine City so there’s no need to rest now right?”
“….”
One of them who exchanged puzzled looks walked forward and said.
“Friend don’t you know what’s going on right now?”
“I’m not sure.”
“okay? Then it would be convenient to refer to the textbook to help you understand.”
As soon as the man snapped his fingers the cloth covering one side of the rock was lifted.
Flap!!
Dozens of dead bodies were seen lodged in the rock wall.
It is not just that it died by being nailed to the bedrock but all the organs of the body were removed and shaved off so there is nothing inside the cracked abdomen or eye sockets.
Lennok who was looking at the corpses found the face of the old man who had spoken to him among them and clicked his tongue.
“I thought he would survive because he looked old but I was unlucky.”
“As you can see we are office workers who take out the organs of our customers and now sell them to Machina.”
The man said patting his stomach leisurely.
“They say it’s a machine city but it’s still a city where people live so these organs are sold at a high price.”
“….”
“It seemed like a lot of these organ samples were needed in the process of testing the side effects of human experiments or cyborg procedures. “It’s a very good source of income for us.”
“so?”
“But if I sold out all my customers word would spread and I wouldn’t be able to do business anymore so I was refraining from killing them all…”
The man said this and pointed to the driver who was driving the truck with Lennok.
“This guy is making a strong appeal that he must capture you and sell you off.”
“No I saw it!!”
The driver looked at the man and retorted in a strong tone.
“That bastard was turning starlight into magic all by himself at night!!”
“….”
“He is definitely a wizard with a very rare talent!! “If you don’t sell it here you’ll regret it forever…!!”
“So what do you think?”
Lennok scratched his cheek in response to the man’s question.
In the process of researching common magic I had experimented with the efficiency of magical power conversion and it seems like I stole it again.
Among these outlaws was there anyone who had the insight to find out what Lennok was doing?
“It’s nothing special. “It’s just a minor trick.”
“Oh really?”
The man grinned as if he didn’t believe anything Lennok said.
Slam!!
The man took out a thick folding blade from his chest struck it and spoke.
“We also had a lot to worry about. Because although this business is profitable you can’t make a living selling other people’s organs forever. “The bailiffs were looking for us with their eyes turned on.”
The wind blew along the man who slowly walked in front of Lennok exposing his upper body.
The appearance of a cyborg with half of its shoulders forearms and chest taking on the shape of a machine.
The man spoke as an ominous red light spread between the joints.
“So I was waiting for a customer like you. “It would be just right to cool it down one last time and wash it off with my hands.”
“….”
“Do you have a ticket?”
The man asked smiling as if he knew everything.
When Lennok didn’t answer he nodded in understanding and raised one arm.
“I’ll show you something I bought at a high price at a Balkan night market to tame disobedient wizards like you.”
Clap clap clap!!
The man proudly held out his mechanical arm which instantly transformed into a huge artillery gun and spoke.
“It’s the agent’s focused hand cannon that was said to have directly injured the vicious wizard Fast!!”
“…what?”
“There is no need to tell you how fatal this would be to a wizard.”
The man who was happily looking at the battery rotating furiously inside the mechanical arm held it out in front of Lennok.
“They said it was a product that the Director of Agents had personally given permission to sell. “If you don’t want to experience pain worse than death it would be better to cooperate.”
“….”
Huge compensation promised after losing the power game between the cartel and the agent.
To cover the compensation Agent Director Greta Wiederhild sold Fast’s name and handed over Agent equipment to the night market at a high price.
Only then did Lennok realize how things were going and looked at the deceived criminal with pity.
“Yeah that’s really scary….”
“…?”
