The Genius Wizard Who Takes Medicine Episode 564
The one who closes the world (2)
Area 25 is designated as a closed area and is completely isolated from the outside world.
A space-time of the past that has become separated left behind in a timeline from decades ago.
However that phenomenon did not occur because of Kaise’s successful research on space-time fixation.
The conclusion of a study that should have ended in failure. The existence of someone who uses the closed area as a cradle to continue the past.
Lennok and Kaise were planning to find the dreamer in this time and space and completely resolve this gap.
Even after making such an important decision the two were still arguing about how to handle the fixture.
“That’s why you shouldn’t completely stop the fixture now. “What have you been listening to me all this time?”
“As long as the power source is here it can be activated again at any time.”
Lennok responded by manipulating the instrument panel instead of Kaise.
“It is better to stop the device once and find the problem. “Why are you interrupting me?”
“No it’s not a hindrance it’s a correction. From the perspective of magic particle observation theory there is no turning back from the moment the internal particle flow is observed. “We need to find the cause before stopping the device.”
“In an area where space and time are fixed the indeterminacy of magic particles does not have much meaning. “In the first place it is an old theory that cannot explain the spiritual resonance phenomenon of mana.”
Kaise frowned at Lennok’s answer.
“…Damn it. “It’s been less than five years since the observation theory was announced at the Trabach Tower and it’s already been reduced to nothing more than a piece of trash?”
“If you understand please sit back and wait for my instructions. “It’s extremely tiring trying to explain this to researchers who are decades behind us.”
At Lennok’s words Kaise twitched her eyebrows with an angry expression.
“Ho ho… no researcher could say that to my face…”
“Now you can be happy because you have one.”
“….”
Kaise who was speechless continued to grumble behind Lennok.
“I guess this is what it means to say that if you meet someone from the future you will have bad luck. “I learned the truth that I didn’t want to know…”
“Who do you think is really unlucky here?”
Even as they argue without saying a word their hands are busy tapping on the dashboard.
Kaise was also busy moving around the pillar of light constantly adjusting the power unit to minimize recoil as much as possible.

Coo coo coo!!
“But my thoughts are the same. “Now that things have progressed to this point it is dangerous to stop the fixing device vaguely in any way.”
Kaise said sweating profusely from the outside of the fixture where the light was bursting out.
“Do you think you backed up the data on the fixture when you blew up the power room?”
“It is highly likely that whether or not the fixing device operates has much to do with this phenomenon. “I would have told you.”
Lennok also responded by constantly manipulating the instrument panel.
“This space existed even before we completed our research. “There is a very real possibility that something will go wrong if the device stops working now.”
“It only exists once in a while. “Isn’t that right?”
“….”
Lennok looked up at Kaise’s unusual answer.
“What happens if the device stops working and we find ourselves in a situation where we can neither live nor die?”
“Kaise.”
“Once this is successful I will disappear along with this space. But that’s not just because I really want it.”
Kaise said quietly.
“Because I know there is no other way I am just trying to end it in the surest way possible. “Such a half-hearted compromise cannot be tolerated.”
“It’s a half-baked compromise…”
Lennok quietly pondered what Kaise had said.
Because he is convinced that he is a being of the past. Because I understood that this situation itself was a space created by someone other than Kaise.
Kaise is trying to put everything aside and tie a firm knot in this world line.
But that never meant that he gave up his will to live or that he stopped craving answers.
Because I know that I still have regrets I want to take action so that no room for regret remains.
Otherwise even Kaise himself cannot be sure how he will act at the last moment.
Lennok whose thoughts had reached that point inadvertently looked away and muttered.
“You don’t believe in yourself.”
“Is that what you call it?”
Kaise grinned and hit the parts of the fixture roughly.
Slam!
The joints of the device were damaged by the touch and the light from the light source became faint little by little.
“Ever since I set out on a journey to find the answer I have never once trusted the answer I came up with.”
Kaise began walking as he watched one side of the huge pillar of light gradually fade and disappear.
Crunchy!!
As the power joint is torn apart and the output is overloaded and destroyed the pillar of light gradually fades.
The shape of the fixture which blooms like a flower petal shrinks every time the light goes out gradually returning to the shape of an egg.
Kaise said as he continued to walk around such fixtures.
“Alkaid knew a lot but most of it was knowledge that resulted from failure. In the end it was entirely up to me to move toward the answer.”
“….”
This is the first time that Kaise has spoken about what Alkaid was like.

“Every moment was a time to shake off and remove doubt and delusion. Just falling breaking and failing was overwhelming. So after decades we created a city called Balkan… We gathered infrastructure and resources and we finally got here….”
Kaise unable to continue speaking for a long time slowly struck down the last power joint destroying it.
Swooooooong…!!
The fixture returned to the shape of a giant egg in front of the two people.
Kaise looked at the egg-like device with an indescribable expression and slowly walked down from it.
Kaise who was silently looking at Lennok smiled weakly.
“But sometimes you have to end your trip in an unexpected place. yes?”
“….”
Lennok could not answer.
I don’t know what to say in front of him who is trying to end his own time.
If this is the ending that will come to Lennok one day will he be able to understand and accept the situation?
The strength to accept with one’s own will even unreasonableness and irrationality that have nothing to do with one’s will.
Kaise’s self-righteousness was his determination to never share even such pain and suffering with others.
As Lennog shuts down the instrument panel by operating it in reverse order the joint of the fixing device becomes stuck and falls apart.
The shape of a huge egg that gradually loses its light and sinks.
Kaise stood in front of him and slowly closed his eyes.
“Completely cut off backup power and format the system. At that moment I will deploy my magnetic field and directly find the dreaming being.”
Only his voice echoed quietly from the top floor of the ventilation tower.
“If I use my technique to turn back the time in which the fixture existed a crack will definitely form somewhere in this space. And next you are…”
“Are you telling me to wake you up from a dream?”
“…Ending the dream itself won’t be difficult if you just find it. Especially if the person who created this space is the one I guessed.”
It was only then that Lennok realized the real reason why Kaise needed an opponent who was not affected by the magic of Reverse Heaven.
It wasn’t just that they needed help stopping the fixture.
The image drawn by Kaise Bajur’s magnetic field is basically a landscape created by the magical power of the heavenly sky.
The only person who can help Kaise without being affected even in the midst of an image where all power flows backwards.
From the beginning what Lennok had to do was decided.
“Wake me up from my dream….”
However rather than mentioning that fact Lennok changed the topic by fiddling with the dashboard.
“When I asked you if it was foreigners who dreamed you only said that you were a being comparable to them. “I avoided giving a specific answer.”
Lennok said looking at Kaise who did not respond.
“So to speak this is proof that this situation has nothing to do with the ocean but at the same time has some connection with yourself.”
Lennok asked as he with Dabi’s help entered the format code into all the systems on the dashboard one by one leaving only the last spare power supply.
“It was Alkaid right?”
“….”
“When you realized that you were a person from the past you knew that it was he who was dreaming in this time and space.”
Lennok continued without waiting for an answer.
“That’s why I was able to accept it ending like this. “Because I knew this was one of your own failures.”
Endless flowing silence.
However Lennok did not lose his composure and waited for Kaise’s next words.
The roar of battle echoing around me gradually fades away and the shock waves exploding from all directions also fade away.
“Yeah… So when you first mentioned that name I didn’t have any doubts.”
With the night sky in front of him slowly but surely becoming quieter Kaise quietly opened his mouth.
“I felt uncomfortable with the situation itself and thought he had sent an assistant to solve it. “I thought maybe you were another being who earned that qualification.”
“….”
“But that wasn’t it. If you had truly achieved that qualification space-time fixation research would never have succeeded in that way. At that moment I…”
Was he thinking that everything surrounding him might just be a fragment of the past?
Kaise knew from the beginning that the cause of all these phenomena originated from a dream dreamed by a being called Alkaid.
“I see.”
As Lennok finally shut down the backup power system and turned on the format the joints of the giant egg began to close completely.
Good profit…!!
The shape of the closing fixture. The huge pillar of light shooting up into the sky disappears and a clear crack is visible above the night sky.
Kaise stood in front of the fixture as he watched and Lennok raised his magic power right in front of him.
Woooo!!
The moment the magnetic field unfolded one had to remain conscious to avoid being encroached upon by the magical power of the heavenly sky.
“You’ll have to be careful.”
Kaise said quietly as he looked at Lennok’s approaching figure.
“He wasn’t that kind of person when he and Alkaid designed this research. But the fact that things happened like this is proof that one of the future me and Alkaid changed their minds.”
“….”
“In the worst case it might be both….”
As soon as Lennok raised his hand and placed it on Kaise’s shoulder the air around him began to twist slightly.
The magical power of Yeokcheon is twisting the entire space and time turning it into a stepping stone for developing imagery.
Kaise continued to speak as he stood on the faint ripples spreading beneath his feet.
“Even if we successfully resolve this matter you must return to reality and confirm the truth. “At the time except for the officials only a very small number of people in power including the mayor knew the full story of the project.”
“I remember.”
It’s the mayor of a huge city.
Come to think of it even though a considerable amount of time had passed since Lennok had been active in the Balkans he had never seen the mayor’s face in person.
If there was no news of the mayor changing or dying it would mean that the person who rose to the top of the city decades ago is still holding that position.
Or is such a person still alive and carrying out public affairs in a normal manner?
Although Lennok knew that John Mayer’s ultimate goal was to become mayor of the Balkans he had never thought too deeply about the position itself.
Maybe that in itself is a clue.
While Lennok was lost in thought Kaise was silent for a moment looking like hesitating.
“And and… Okay I guess I should tell you this.”
Kaise seemed to have put something down and slowly closed his eyes as if he had made up his mind.
“Alkaid is….”
Phew!!
Kaise’s body trembled violently and stopped abruptly.
His face lowered his head with a slightly blank stare.
A neutral hand sticking out from the center of his solar plexus penetrates his solar plexus and is aiming for Lennok’s heart.
However in the end the forearm collapses without being able to penetrate the shield unable to reach Lennok’s heart.
Before we knew it the huge eggshell behind Kaise’s back had shattered into pieces.
A dark-colored shadow broke the shell and protruded from the inside of the fixture which was thought to be broken because it was completely closed.
Something that gives off an infinitely alien atmosphere as if it resembles a human being and is not human at all.
It seems as if the starlight and milky way in the night sky have been condensed together to imitate humans.
[That’s what dreaming ultimately means.]
The shadow whispered in a tone that seemed to gently caress the heart of Kaise whom it had shattered.
[Chasing an ideal that cannot be achieved but can disappear like a bubble at any time.]
“you…!!”
The sight of Kaise twitching and looking back with an expression of disbelief.
[This is our last remaining promise and our first message to a failed world line.]
Patter!!
The shadow that casually wiped away the pouring fresh blood slowly raised its gaze.
The directionless gaze was directed not at Kaise who was falling but at Lennok who stood beyond him.
[From now on… I will deliver what Kaise Bajur left behind before his death.]
