    Puzzle!

Lennok who fired a bolt of electricity into the man’s chest slowly stood up.

Fortunately the man who did not have much tolerance for pain passed on the information he knew to Lennok without much effort.

In his words to explain the situation that is currently happening in this laboratory there are two types of warlock factions currently rooted in the Balkans.

A faction that deals with non-combat enchantment and a practical faction that uses a variety of external magic including necromancy.

This is a trait possessed by warlocks who survive independently by faction rather than settling in a specific environment such as a magic tower.

Although both of them lived in the 40th district they suffered great damage from city government inspections.

The Buyeo faction which had relatively open ways to make a living began to have a falling out as they refused to cooperate with the practical faction.

It is said that the war of nerves between the two factions whose relationship began to deteriorate rapidly the longer the inspections lasted has recently spread to this type of bloodshed.

This massacre that took place today could also be said to be part of that.

The reason why the lab’s warlocks died so easily at the hands of just one warlock was because their combat skills were extremely poor.

    “Whoa….”

While massaging my sore thighs I naturally take another cigarette.

Now it feels natural to smoke medicine even when I feel the slightest abnormality in my body. Especially when working.

    ‘That’s not very good news.’

It looks like the Buyeo style factions are being slaughtered unilaterally but considering that they are relatively likely to cooperate with Lennok it is not a good sign.

As incidents like this continue to happen either faction will begin to hesitate and naturally there will be no one for Lennok to seek advice from.

After putting together various clues I chose the option that would most easily provide information about the closed world but it ended up going wrong from the start.

“…I didn’t think it would be easy.”

Muttering to himself Lennok immediately turned around.

Lennok went back down to the inside of the laboratory and began searching through the belongings of the dead bodies looking for clues that could be helpful.

Even though he was conducting research in such a remote location he would not have had any contact with the outside world.

Especially if so many warlocks were gathered together to conduct research it would not be strange for someone to have a means of contacting other warlocks.

As expected Lennok was able to obtain more than a dozen cell phones at the scene where corpses were scattered.

After discarding the damaged and non-powering products and collecting only the cell phones that were working properly I found less than ten but this should be enough as a sample.

The idea was to take it to Jenny and see if they could extract the data the way they tracked Beck Clinton’s phone.

I sat down on the edge of the laboratory rooftop and let the smoke drift into the cold fog.

It was absurd but the last words the man said remained in my head and were still echoing.

That there is no one to help him.

It may have been a random provocation just to inflame Lennok’s frustration but the fact that he was paying attention to those words was evidence of Lennok’s concerns.

No matter how smart and cautious Lennoc is how long will he be able to solve everything on his own?

In order to distinguish between confidence in one’s own abilities and overconfidence it was necessary to have a collaborator who could watch and give advice.

Not just in terms of requests or operations but even more so when it comes to dealing with magic Lennok’s biggest secret.

Bright blonde hair. Blue eyes pass by.

    I already knew the answer.

    “……..”

This is the last chance to continue the relationship that was established through a chance meeting.

This time I must not reject the offer that I had hesitated to accept out of hesitation and fear until now.

I had to give her an answer.
