Teina Auction House (3)
“No way!!!”
“Irina put that artifact up for auction herself?!”
The auction house suddenly became noisy as more than one customer on the second floor recognized the item.
However there was only cold silence in the VIP section on the third floor.
“Jenny among the people you mentioned earlier…..”
“okay.”
Didn’t she say that among the VIPs she introduced at the end were members of the Arashak Ruins Exploration Team?
“Don’t look back. “Nothing good will come from making eye contact now.”
After hearing Jenny’s words Lennok immediately increased his magic power and expanded his energy.
As expected the three people sitting in the back row on the third floor were already trembling unable to control their emotions to the extent that they could not maintain their composure.
It was obvious just by looking at it.
That ‘Archangel’s Compassion’ which is Irina Fesfield’s item was not put up for auction voluntarily by the exploration team.
And it seemed clear why they were entering this auction house as VIPs.
What happened next was simple.
“12 billion!”
“15 billion!!”
[15 billion won!!]
“18 billion!!”
“20 billion!!”
[20 billion cells!!]
“28 billion!!”
“……”
No matter how expensive it is if you can actually get your hands on that relic what’s the problem?
Lennok was at a loss for words as he watched the prices of artifacts soar like crazy.
Jenny who was watching the intense scene from the side also shrugged her shoulders.

“Well… this kind of reaction is natural since a relic that was originally never going to be released has come to the market. Still with the Archangel’s compassion it might end without overheating too much. “Compared to other relics its value is not that much lower but many people say that its use is limited because it has too many functions or abilities that have not yet been revealed.”
“…The research on a treasure that size hasn’t been completed yet?”
“This was especially true because it was not a relic belonging to the city government. This is an artifact that the talented explorer Irina Pesfield cherished more than her life. “No one would have thought that it would be solved even if the exploration team fell.”
Jenny slightly looked away as she said that.
“And seeing as the other members of the exploration team came to the auction house don’t you have a rough idea of what happened to her?”
“……”
It was obvious what she meant.
Irina Fesfield died and the artifacts she possessed appeared at an auction house in the hands of someone.
And her colleagues are here to get the artifact back.
Jenny is saying that that scenario is the most plausible.
While the two were talking the price for Archangel’s compassion continued to soar and now only the two VIP customers were competing.
Members of the Arashak Ruins Exploration Team and an old gentleman wearing a mask.
“50 billion…!!”
[50 billion cells came out!!!]
“60 billion.”
“…63 billion!”
“70 billion.”
“…….!!!”
The members of the exploration team worked hard to keep up with the bid but the old gentleman was leisurely suggesting an amount that they could not possibly match.
In the end a large man among the crowd couldn’t help but stand up and take off his mask.
A man with bright blonde hair cut short and thick eyebrows walked forward at a stride and headed towards the old gentleman.
He spoke slowly to the old gentleman gritting his teeth as if he was having trouble controlling his emotions.
“Please hand over that item to us.”
The old gentleman answered slowly.
“Why should I do that?”
“…Are you asking because you don’t know? “Don’t you know very well who that item belongs to…!!”
“I know.”
The gray eyes behind the mask twinkled quietly.
“Even this old man knows that he is no longer the owner of that expedition team.”
“Old man!!”
The man unable to overcome his anger screamed and raised his magic power.
An unusually violent flow that can be felt even from a distance. It was proof that the man was also a superhuman with outstanding skills.
He walked forward and stretched out his thick hand towards the old gentleman but before that someone snatched his arm.
“Let’s stop there.”
A woman in a suit. The scars on his face are impressive.
“What are you doing again you bastard!!”
The man growled fiercely and radiated murder but the woman did not blink.

“I don’t know what they’re trying to do right now. “Are you crazy to try to use your hands carelessly in a place where our guests are gathered?”
“We are not here for an auction.”
he replied.
“I came to retrieve something that was stolen…!!”
“Stop talking bullshit. Do you know who entrusted that item to our auction house?”
“what……”
“The person who killed Irina Fesfield brought that cane himself. “You didn’t do anything until she died but now you’re belatedly trying to get those belongings back…”
The woman said mockingly.
“Or are you trying to kill people with the same hands that used to kill monsters?”
“This profit…”
The man’s eyes were bloodshot and red as if they were about to explode but in the end he was unable to attack.
Were the woman’s harsh words hitting the nail on the head?
In the end he left the auction house alone with other members of the exploration team.
The Archangel’s compassion was taken into the hands of an old gentleman for a huge price with a market value exceeding 100 billion.
Jenny nodded as she watched the old man stand up and raise his hands as everyone cheered.
“Among the truly famous relics there are items with power comparable to war weapons. “If those items had been released into the market it wouldn’t have ended like this.”
“…Should I consider it fortunate?”
“Anyway that wasn’t something we could get our hands on right? “It is best to avoid unnecessary variables in achieving the goal as much as possible…!!”
Quaaaaaaa!!
Jenny’s words were cut off as the auction house suddenly shook with a loud noise.
At the same time the lights that had been brightly illuminating the auction house went out all at once leaving the entire area immersed in darkness.
Two things happened at the same time as if they had been planned.
It was natural that the complexions of the other guests who were still sitting in the VIP section and leisurely waiting for others to leave changed completely.
The power of the explosion was too great and the timing was too elaborate for it to be a simple accident.
The two people quickly exchanged glances.
“Is this…?”
“It would be correct to say it was a planned act.”
In an instant panicked people began to flock towards the entrance of the auction house and chaos unfolded.
“Get out of the way!!”
“I’m going out first!!”
“Help me!!”
[Women!! Everyone please calm down. The auction house is fully protected by guards hired by us. If you stay calm and follow our instructions….!!]
The host desperately tried to appease them but the ‘archangel’s compassion’ that was proudly displayed behind him was nowhere to be seen so who could believe and follow his words?
In just this short period of time it was obvious how big a blow Teina Auction Company would suffer not only because the auction house’s most important treasure was stolen but also because it failed to control the crowd.
“Let’s get up.”
Jenny grabbed Lennok’s arm.
“I have to go check the amulet right away.”
“Sure.”
Lennok agreed immediately.
Her judgment was very accurate even in the midst of this chaos.
What the two should be most concerned about right now is not finding out what is happening at this auction house.
The urgent task was to secure the amulet of medicine which had been put up for private bidding in advance.
If this power outage was not limited to the inside of the auction house it would have inevitably occurred in the lobby on the first floor as well.
It would not be surprising if the amulet and other items used to meet the medicine ship that Lennok had placed a bid on were also stolen amidst the confusion.
The two quickly headed to the back of the stairs on the first floor through a separate VIP passage.
Fortunately Liam’s complexion was slightly pale and he didn’t seem to have suffered any major damage.
This is because the number of guards surrounding and guarding him was close to ten proving that he was the owner of this huge building.
As soon as Liam saw Jenny’s face he sighed in relief.
There was no pretense on his wrinkled face so it was easy to tell at a glance that he really cared about her.
“jenny…!! You’re safe. thank god.”
“If the auctioneer handles things properly there won’t be much casualties. Instead I think the Archangel’s compassion was stolen.”
“Oh that’s not important. “Look at this.”
Liam took something out of his arms and placed it in Jenny’s hand.
Originally it was a talisman of medicine that would not have even started bidding yet.
“This is…”
Liam gave a mischievous smile that was inappropriate for his age.
“It seemed like you wanted it so I secretly worked on it.”
“…..thank you.”
“How difficult is it to give a gift of nothing but a talisman?”
Liam said with a chuckle.
“I hope it pays for the drinks when I go to your bar later.”
“I’ll take you the most expensive one so you can look forward to it.”
“okay. I’m out of my mind so I’ll have to go in quickly. “I hope the day comes when we can talk about Kaise together in the future.”
“……..”
Jenny turned her head only after confirming that Liam was safely out of the auction house.
Even brokers like her who are sure to make and break relationships are bound to have relationships that they sometimes end up regretting.
As a human being it was natural.
She quickly gathered her emotions and smiled while holding up the amulet in her hand.
“It’s a little different than planned… but it’s a success anyway.”
“Thank goodness. “There’s no doubt that the amulet is genuine right?”
“of course. “There’s no way I wouldn’t recognize this mark.”
As Jenny said that she played with the amulet in her hand.
“Let’s just finish the bidding on other items and get out quickly. “If I stay here too long I might get caught up in something strange.”
Even during this time it was not normal for her to try to take the item that Lennok had placed a bid on rather than thinking about getting out first.
Fortunately unlike the initial confusion the confusion subsided quickly as nothing much happened other than the Archangel’s compassion being stolen.
Lennok wrote down the bidding price appropriately for the item and left the auction house with Jenny.
These are items that are good if you can have them or you don’t have to worry about them too much.
It would be better to just forget about it and check later to see if the bid was successful.
In front of the building where the auction house was set up more than a dozen vehicles were lined up to match the number of people gathered.
It was even bizarre to see the spacious parking lot filled with sophisticated sedans and supercars that seemed to Lennok to boast exorbitant prices.
Fortunately Jenny was used to this and had parked her car on the street outside the auction house so she was able to avoid the crowds by walking a short distance.
The car she drove was a bright red sports car to match the profits she earned as a broker.
With Lennok getting on the low body of the car in an awkward position she immediately drove the car down the street.
Perhaps because it was late at night the roads were deserted as we left the area where the auction house was located.
With only yellow streetlights illuminating the empty street a car with two people entered the outer lane.
Lennok who was staring blankly at the passing lights said.
“jenny. “Don’t be surprised and listen.”
“what?”
She grabbed the steering wheel and suddenly turned her head.
Lennok muttered as he grabbed her shoulder and forced her to look away.
“Now we are being tracked.”
