Chapter 0036 – Don’t Let You Go (2 / 2)
by Jessie@AFNCCSu Wanqing sighed, gave up struggling, and dialed the driver’s phone with her free hand.
“Young Lady, what are your orders?”
The inquiry came from the other end of the line.
Su Wanqing looked sideways at the man who was snuggling up to her, constantly rubbing her cheek, and replied, “Young Master Qi is drunk, call for one more person, we have to get him downstairs.”
“May I ask which floor the young lady is on?”
The driver inquired.
Su Wanqing thinks for a moment and confirms, “In Young Master Qi’s special pool room, on the eighth floor. When you go upstairs, don’t forget to tell them that it’s Young Master Qi’s order, and remember to call me Mr. Su!”
“Okay, be right there.”
The driver answered.
Hanging up the phone, Su Wanqing let Qi Zhiyu lean against the wall, taking most of his weight herself.
Not long after, the driver arrives with his bodyguard, ready to take over the intoxicated QI Zhiyu.
“Get out of the way!”
Qi Zhiyu violently shook off the bodyguard’s hand, anger with alcohol burning in his eyes, “Who told you to come here?”
His gaze wandered through the drunkenness and dissatisfaction, finally settling on Su Wanqing.
“Did you send them?”
He questioned.
“You’ve had too much to drink, I just wanted the driver to take you home.”
Su Wanqing managed to break free with great difficulty, hastily arranging her tugged and wrinkled clothes.
“If you want to stay on and make a big bet with them, I have no right to interfere.”
She said lightly, stepping around him to leave.
“You’re not allowed to leave!”
Qi Zhi Iu’s alcohol surged and he stumbled forward a few steps, gripping her wrist tightly.
“It’s the same thing every time, turning away at the drop of a hat!”
He rubbed the corner of his forehead in pain, stubbornness in his red eyes.
“You say I don’t respect you, but Su Wanqing, when have you ever really respected me?”
Qi Zhi Iu’s words were full of questioning, and the word “respect” was like a stone hitting water, causing Su Wanqing’s heart to jolt.
With mixed feelings in her mind, she let out a secret sigh.
“Qiji Iu, wake up!”
She quickly pulled him back to the restroom in case someone not far away heard his drunken ramblings.
“I’m wide awake!”
Qi Zhi Iu’s voice was firm, but as Su Wanqing drew closer, she clearly detected the smell of alcohol on his body growing stronger.
This is a wine that has an aftertaste beyond imagination!
“Okay, since you said sober, I’ll walk you downstairs, okay?”
Su Wanqing took a step back to compromise.
As a child she had seen Qi Zhi Iu in his drunken state, he wasn’t as rambunctious or angry as the next person, true drunkenness would make him a bit childish, but luckily it was fairly easy to placate.
“Good.”
Qi Zhi Iu promised, and then he was about to embrace her again.
Su Wanqing wanted to avoid it, but chose to acquiesce after catching the driver’s surprised look out of the corner of her eye.
Qi Zhiyu hugged her tightly and staggered towards the elevator with the support of the bodyguard.
“Young Master Qi is, this time, really drunk, isn’t he?”
The whispers of the bystanders were tinged with a few hints of incredulity.
