Chapter 0022 – The Fox Spirit (1 / 2)
by Jessie@AFNCC“Hey hey hey, who are you guys?”
This sudden situation interrupted his plans.
Two burly bodyguards, moving swiftly and forcefully, snatched the camera from that photographer’s hand almost instantly.
Their movements were well-trained, without a hint of hesitation.
Then the two turned around and respectfully handed the camera to the man sitting inside the Maybach limousine.
Inside the car, the man took the camera, his eyes slowly scanning over the screen, finally settling on the surreptitious photos.
His eyes narrowed slightly as if they were two sharp blades, revealing an aura of unspeakable danger.
The air around him seemed to freeze at a single glance from him, filling the air with the tension of an impending explosion.
“Contact their superiors.”
The man’s voice was low and cold, and every word seemed to carry unquestionable authority.
“Understood.”
Responding to him was the bodyguard’s firm but succinct answer.
One of them continued to hold down the doggie, who was trying to struggle, while the other turned nimbly and got into the commercial car that was following close behind, moving without a moment’s delay.
The man then pushed open the driver’s door and his tall frame gracefully stepped out of the car.
His back was erect, and he carried an unrivaled aura of his own.
Close behind him were two bodyguards who were loyal to him, like daemons, ready to deal with any threat that might arise.
The first floor of the studio was already in disarray, with items scattered around and overturned furniture, all signaling that the place had just experienced a mess.
In contrast, the second floor was unusually quiet, thanks to the cleverly set up access control system that spared this area, as if it were a quiet place in the center of the storm.
And in the midst of the chaos on the first floor, a woman who called herself Mrs. Fang, unable to enter the heart of the studio, turned to vent her anger on the innocent Su Wanqing.
“You vixen, I’ll fight you!”
She shouted angrily and casually grabbed a plastic chair on the side and threw it with force, intending to attack Su Wanqing.
The security guards at the scene wanted to come forward to stop them, but they were surrounded by several other richly dressed noblewomen and could not move.
“Mr. Su, be careful!”
A panicked front desk employee clutching a computer exclaimed, her voice filled with anxiety and concern.
At this very moment, Su Wanqing was keenly aware of the crisis, and she quickly sidestepped to avoid it, her movements deft and agile.
“Bang!”
There was a loud bang, and the flying chair did not hit its target, but was snatched up and slammed hard by a mysteriously appearing figure.
“Ki …… what brings you here?”
Surprised, Su Wanqing just wanted to call out that person’s name, but when the words came out of her mouth, she temporarily changed her words.
That person was none other than Qi Zhi Iu, his face was expressionless and his tone carried a bit of dissatisfaction, “I’m not coming, how long do you plan to be bullied? Usually, I see you dislike people quite a lot, why do you become like a scared kitten when something really happens?”
He was clearly upset by the out-of-control group of women destroying the studio in front of him, and his eyes showed obvious reproach.
“I’ve called the police.”
Noticing that the bodyguards had taken control of the noblewomen, Su Wanqing duly reminded, “They’re probably all people of status, don’t let your men be too rude.”
Qi Zhi Iu sneered, her anger still not dissipated, “Hmph, they take care of their face, shouldn’t you have dignity? It seems that you can only show off at home!”
Su Wanqing felt the strange gazes cast by the surrounding employees and gently signaled him to lower his volume, “You lower your voice …… Our relationship is confidential.”
It’s a simple, direct statement that implies a complex emotional entanglement.
