A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 66
by Hectopascal(헥토파스칼 )
Episode 66
Zig followed the King’s Fist to a place where he could smell the scent of a country.
As expected of a barbarian who runs through the Giant Mountains as if it were his front yard Wangjumuk ran quickly between the trees like a nimble wild animal.
Then at one moment he suddenly stopped moving and fell face down on the ground.
Zeke also crouched down next to Wang Jumuk.
The king’s fist pointed somewhere.
Zig squinted his eyes and looked at the place Wang Jumuk was pointing at.
‘It’s a cave.’
The teacher said that Ga-guk hates light and likes dark and damp places and the sun was just rising at that moment.
It seemed as if Ga-guk had fled into a cave to avoid the sunlight.
Zig asked Wang Ju-Fuk in a small voice.
“Is there a way to catch it?”
Then Wang Ju-fuk opened his palm and struck with his fist.
I meant to just go and catch it without any plan.
Zeke clicked his tongue inwardly.
‘So keep missing it like this.’
He quickly looked around and explained the plan to Wang Ju-Fuk.
However to the Barbarian who had little strategy to begin with Zeke’s explanation was difficult to understand.
Zeke decided to just move on his own.
“King’s Fist. Go and hit your prey. Then I’ll hit you from behind.”
To put it simply only then did Wang Ju-Fuk nod his head vigorously with a satisfied expression on his face.
In the first place the Barbarian’s body had no need for strategy.
If you just rush in and beat them up it’ll end as soon as it starts so why bother with any strategy?
Wang Ju-Fuk slowly entered the cave in a crouching posture.
The Barbarian’s blessed body could be seen brightly even in the dark cave.
He followed the scent of the country and went inside.

That was when.
Thud!
The ground where Wang Ju-fuk’s feet touched sank downward.
“Eww!”
In an instant Wang Ju-fuk shouted and jumped into the air using his body’s elasticity.
Wang Ju-Fuk jumped over the trap and landed on the other side.
Looking under the sunken ground I saw sharp animal bones and sharp human weapons embedded tightly into the ground.
The clever family had laid a trap for the invaders.
Wang Ju-Fuk followed the scent into the cave again.
And at some point there was no longer a path inside the cave and there was only a dead end wall.
Wang Ju-Fuk discovered a strong scent of the country coming from underneath the wall.
Looking closely I saw something black and rolled up into a circle.
Wang Ju-Fuk took a deep breath and quickly ran towards the country.
Then he immediately grabbed the man with his thick arms like a log and tried to tear his head off.
Wood crunch!
It was true that the head was pulled out but something felt strange.
When Wang Ju-Fuk looked closely he saw that it was not a country but a dead bear curled up into a ball.
The bear’s body was covered in his own scent.
The moment Wang Ju-Fuk was startled and turned around something wrapped around his ankle.
Clang!
“Ugh!”
The hawk which had been hiding underground while hiding its scent stretched out its long tail and wrapped it around Wang Jumeok’s ankle.
As Wang Ju-Fuk tried to leap towards Ga-Guk the guy hid himself in the darkness.
And yet it sucked the life out of Wang Jumuk with its tail.
“Ugh!”
Even the most barbarian of them could not endure the constant drain of life.
On the contrary the size of the country that absorbed the life force of the King’s Fist began to gradually increase.
Wang Ju-Fuk clenched his teeth and lifted the dead bear’s body throwing it towards Ga-Guk.
Kwakwakwa!
However Ga-guk easily dodged the bear corpse thrown by Wang Ju-fuk.
Then he laughed at the king’s fist which was gradually losing its vitality with both sides of its mouth torn open.
At some point Ga-guk came out of the darkness stretched his body and walked towards Wang Ju-fuk.
“Kirruruk!”
The country was a demon with a completely black body.
The arms were longer than usual and the nails and teeth were sharp.
Ga-guk approached Wang Ju-fuk pulling out his sharp claws.
“Keerruruk!”

With a creepy laugh Ga-guk swung his claws at Wang Ju-fuk.
Crunch!
Ga-guk expected that Wang Ju-fuk’s body would be torn apart by his sharp claws but the result was completely different.
“Keerreuk?”
Ga-guk made a strange expression as he looked at his own flying wrist.
That was when.
Jiiing!
A barrier was created around the cave.
It was when Ga-guk was surprised and tried to run away becoming one with the darkness.
“The field of hydraulic power.”
Zeke’s sword cut through Ga-guk’s body as it tried to melt into the darkness.
“Keeeeeek!”
The Black Sword of Water was a sword that could cut even things without a form.
Ga-guk was surprised and tried to run away but he was already blocked by the barrier that Zig had set up and was unable to escape.
Ga-guk showed his sharp teeth as he looked at Zigg who suddenly appeared.
Then realizing that he could not escape he puffed up his whole body and transformed into a giant ape-man.
“Kwaaah!”
Zeke lifted Bahamut as he looked at the enlarged country.
‘When I’m cornered I puff up my body just like in my past life.’
Ga-guk ran towards Zigg making the ground shake.
Zig swung his sword and cut off Ga-guk’s leg.
“Kaaaak!”
But even if you cut off the leg it will quickly blend in with the darkness and stick back to its original state.
Zeke was a bit annoyed when he had to deal with enemies that kept regenerating even though he didn’t realize it when he used his healing factor.
‘What a nuisance.’
It was when Zig and Ga-guk were facing each other and waiting for an opportunity.
In an instant Wang Ju-fuk who had been lying on the floor got up and grabbed Ga-guk’s waist.
“Wow!”
Ga-guk hit Wang Ju-fuk’s head with his elbow.
But he held on without letting go of his fist.
When he was captured he seemed unable to blend in with the darkness.
Zeke didn’t miss this moment.
Wheeeeeek!
Zig leapt into the air and swung his sword at Ga-guk.
Dragon’s Sword Technique
Chapter 2 Section 1
Earth beating
Zeke’s sword was drawn horizontally in a long stroke.
At the same time a red line appeared on the neck of the country.
“Krrrrr!”
A blood-boiling sound was heard from Ga-guk’s neck and then his neck fell to the floor.
Zeke used gluttony before the country could regenerate again.
Kookookookookook!
Zeke’s shadow slowly rose up and sucked in the neck of the fallen man on the ground.
At the same time the body of the country that Wang Ju-Fuk was still holding onto slowly sank into the shadows.
[I gorged on a corrupted ancient species that was completely eroded by the polluted energy.]
[The consumed stamina and mental power mana replenishes.]
[Absorb the bloodline abilities of a corrupted ancient species that has overeaten and gain the active skill Stealth (A-rank).]
‘Stealth skill?’
It seemed like it was the ability of Ga-guk to assimilate into darkness.
Zeke cut off the arm of Ga-guk which was still sticking out not yet fully absorbed into the shadows with his sword.
He took one finger from the severed arm and kept it and handed the rest to Wang Jumeok.
“It is evidence of hunting.”
Wang Ju-Fuk lifted the arm of the country that Zig had handed him with his large palm and shed tears again.
He looked up at Zeke and said.
“Huh. Thanks Zeke!”
Wang Ju-fuk hugged Zigg.
He said to Zeke after a while wiping away his tears.
“Brother Zeke. Come visit our village. I’ll catch a delicious ogre and cook it for you.”
Come to think of it barbarians lived by hunting and eating the monsters that were all around them.
This was because the poison in the monsters’ bodies had no effect on the Barbarians’ bodies.
In his previous life Zig understood the culture of those barbarians and sometimes traded monster skins for food.
He asked Wang Ju-Fuk as if he was reminded of Zeke.
“Wang Ju-Fist where are you lacking?”
Wang Ju-fuk said proudly hitting his chest.
“This is a really strong rock tribe.”
Zig was a little surprised to hear that there was a rock tribe.
This is because the Rock Tribe was the most powerful and fiercest of the Barbarian tribes.
‘There’s nothing wrong with becoming friends with a Rock Tribe warrior.’
Zig held Wang Ju-fuk’s hand warmly and said.
“Hunting. It was awesome.”
I wanted to say something cool and touching but my Bavarian language was limited in what I could express.
But it seemed to have worked on Wang Ju-Fuk who soon started to cry again.
As if he was thinking of Zeke he used an area-of-effect buff to heal Wang Jumuk.
Woohoo!
As his body turned golden Wang Ju-Fuk looked at it with wonder and then he thought it was time to move so he told Zeke.
“Brother Zeke. Be sure to come visit our town!”
“Okay!”
Wang Ju-Fuk raised his country’s arm and ran out of the cave.
Zeke also went out of the cave but Wang Jumeok was already nowhere to be seen.
In the forest there seemed to be no creature capable of dealing with a barbarian.
Zeke put the finger of the country he had gathered earlier into his pocket and headed to the campsite where Felix was.
We soon arrived at the campsite but Felix was nowhere to be seen.
“Where did you go?”
Just then Felix came out in a hurry from the nearby forest.
“Sir Zeke!”
He came running towards Zeke out of breath.
His head was covered in fallen leaves and his legs were covered in dirt.
Zeke looked at Felix with sharp eyes.
“Where are you going in such a hurry?”
Felix said scratching his head awkwardly.
“I was doing something urgent and I slipped and fell…”
Zeke noticed something odd when he saw the dirt on Felix’s knees and feet.
‘Did you watch me and Wang Ju-Fuk fight?’
During the battle it would have been difficult to detect Felix even if he was hiding around the cave as it was impossible to sense anything from a distance.
If they had received special training there to hide their presence they would have been even less detected.
Felix asked sarcastically brushing away the fallen leaves from his head and shoulders.
“Did you catch the demon? But what about the barbarian who went with you…?”
Zeke answered the question without letting go of his suspicions about Felix.
“The demon has been caught. The body has been taken to the barbarian’s village.”
Felix smiled brightly at Zeke’s words.
“Oh my goodness! You caught the demon in one day! You’re really amazing Zeke!”
“It’s not over yet. I’ll go down the mountain while looking around in case there are other demons around.”
Felix was impressed by Zeke’s ability to brag about his accomplishments while also preparing for any eventuality.
But Zeke just looked at that appearance with suspicion.
* * *
After that Felix had to explore the mountains with Zeke for a few more days.
Thanks to that I was able to catch a few monsters that were hiding here and there.
Only after looking around the mountain did Jik come down to the village.
The town was in a festive mood at the news that the demons and monsters had been captured.
The delighted townspeople immediately stopped Zigg as he was about to go to Atlas.
Eventually Zeke decided to stay for a day and participate in the feast.
The village chief set up a table in the village hall with its legs nearly broken seated Zig at the head of the table and made a toast.
“For the knight who protected our village!”
“For!”
The townspeople ate and drank until their noses were crooked.
To keep up the rhythm Zeke also drank some alcohol but the townspeople were shocked to see that Zeke wasn’t drunk at all.
The town’s most popular lords came to challenge Zig but they were all defeated.
Zeke tried to set the mood for a while then said he was tired and went back to the prepared lodging.
But then someone followed Zeke.
Zeke already had a feeling who was following him.
“Felix.”
Felix who had been following Zeke from the town hall appeared flinching.
Zeke spoke to Felix in a sharp voice.
“Why did you follow me?”
“That that is me…..”
Suddenly Felix knelt before Zeke.
Zeke said to Felix.
“What are you doing now?”
At that moment Felix shouted at Zeke.
“Please accept me Sir Zeke!”
A completely unexpected word came out of Felix’s mouth.
Zeke looked at Felix with a suspicious expression and said.
“What do you mean ‘accept me?’”
Felix looked at Zeke with a serious expression and said.
“Please accept me as your servant Sir Zeke!”
“satellite?”
Felix nodded and got up from his seat.
Then suddenly he pulled out his sword.
Woohoo!
A clear sword sound was heard from the sword.
Felix began swinging his sword with a determined look on his face.
Whee!
Zeke was astonished when he saw Felix’s swordsmanship.
‘That’s… the Paladin swordsmanship tradition of the Holy Kingdom?’
