Episode 615

“Phuhat!”

Nabu who had come to his senses took a deep breath.

He jumped up and looked around in confusion.

“What is this place?”

Clearly we were heading towards the underwater city deep in Le Rue.

Nabu raised his head and looked up at the sky and above him was a blue sky.

I got up and looked around carefully and saw buildings of a style I had never seen before lined up all around me.

The most distinctive of these was the floating tower in the middle of the city.

A circular canal surrounded the city in a concentric pattern centering on a floating tower that floated majestically and radiated a brilliant light.

Nabu pondered the shape of the city and then one thought occurred to him.

“Hey wait! This shape. No way….”

He summoned a book and quickly checked something.

Then he clapped his hands and exclaimed.

“Oh my god! Isn’t this the legendary city of Atlantis?”

Hundreds of years ago a wise man wrote about an ancient civilization in his book.

It was recorded that that civilization had a more advanced magic system and technological prowess than today but it was met with the wrath of the constellation and the entire city sank into the sea in an instant.

Nabu checked the records again and opened his mouth wide.

“Wait a minute so if this is Atlantis… what happened? Why did they suddenly come here from Le Rue…?”

Then Nigel appeared between the buildings.

Nabu ran towards Nigel.

“Nigel! Look at this. Here it seems….”

“Are you saying it’s like Atlantis?”

Nigel silently took something out of his bosom and handed it to me.

They were broken pieces of white metal and Nabu looked at them with a puzzled face then became terrified again.

Nigel nodded.

“Yes this was all over the city. In the legend Atlantis was said to have freely manipulated the orichalcum to create an ancient civilization.”

Nabu nodded at Nigel’s words.

“That’s true. But how did you end up in Atlantis which was supposedly destroyed a long time ago?”

For a moment Nabu’s face turned pale.

“Wow is our lord dead?”

Nigel said as he struck the head of the blustering Naboo with his sword.

“You idiot. And you still call yourself a wise man?”

Nigel clicked his tongue and pointed to the floating tower in the air.

“Look at that. Doesn’t it remind you of something?”

Nabu lifted his head rubbing the cheek that had been hit by Nigel.

“Hey you sound like an old hag with bad hands. What are you thinking of…?”

He tilted his head as he looked at the floating tower then suddenly opened his eyes wide in surprise.

“Wait a minute. Could that be… the tower in Le Rue where we were?”

Surprisingly the tower of Lulu that they had crossed through the deep sea was floating in the air like a floating tower.

Nigel nodded at this.

“Yes it seems like this is Rurue. To be exact it’s the time zone of Atlantis Rurue’s past.”

Nabu scratched his head with a bewildered expression.

“Wow crazy… Is this even possible? No if there’s a unique barrier over the entire city and the dimension is divided here and time stops….”

Nabu like a wise man came up with various theories to interpret the current phenomenon.

Nabu’s expression hardened at the mention of the Demon King.

Nigel turned his head again and looked toward the center of the city.

“I haven’t been able to see the whole city but as always the center is where the important things are.”

She continued pointing to the center.

“Right below the floating tower. The Book of the Dead is likely sealed in the center of the city. Baron Draker must have headed there as well.”

Nabu stood up took a deep breath and said.

“Let’s go and stop him quickly before he gets the Lion’s Book first.”

Then he summoned the magic carpet again.

Nigel and Naboo were lifted into the air on a carpet and flew to the center of the city.

And after a while a ripple arose in the place where they had left.

The black figure transformed into a crustacean insect opened its mouth wide and sent a signal into the air.

As Baron continued to inject black energy into the goch black bugs began to gather in front of him.

Insects crawled toward the Baron burrowing into the black swamp that had formed at his feet.

Then one of the bugs approached the Baron’s side not the swamp.

The guy moved his antennae around conveying something to Baron.

Then Baron who was making the gochi turned his head and interpreted the signal sent by the bug.

“The high tables have come in here.”

Baron who had come all the way to Atlantis in response to the call of the Book of the Dead frowned as he realized that the saboteurs were still chasing him.

He got up from his seat and looked at the cradle he had made.

Soon something began to stir inside the shell causing the surface to bulge.

Baron stepped back put his gloves back on and watched Gochi’s movements closely.

Soon tentacles began to extend from the bulging areas on the surface of the gochi.

The tentacles stretched out in all directions of the building and the cocoon began to hold itself firmly in place.

Then the middle part of the gochi split open and opened wide like a huge mouth.

A huge mouth filled with sharp teeth pulsed and moved.

It was as if it were a living creature in itself.

Then something began to writhe and come out of its huge mouth.

Kururururuk!

An unidentifiable figure wearing black armor walked out its huge mouth wide open and sticky fluid seeping out.

Then the tentacles gathered together and created a staircase in front and the black armored being slowly walked down the stairs.

But not only that other beings wearing black armor followed suit and walked out.

The Baron opened his mouth to the dozen or so dark knights.

“Forgotten heroes who lost their world and disappeared. God has given you a new chance.”

At his words the dark knights’ eyes turned red.

“The enemies are trying to block the great work of God. As a knight of God stop them.”

The dark knights nodded simultaneously to Baron’s words and then prostrated themselves before him.

Baron looked at them with a cold glare.

“Is this it?”

Nabu rode into the center of the city on a carpet with Nigel.

The city center with its floating towers definitely felt different from other places.

I felt with my whole body that a powerful magical field was spreading out all around.

Then Nigel said to Naboo.

“Looking at the structure of this magic field it seems like it was laid out by the chief.”

The chief had put up several layers of security to hide the Book of the Dead which contained the Demon King’s soul.

Nabu nodded and took a deep breath.

“Hmm do I have to go through that?”

At those words Nigel stood up and drew his sword.

“Dig in. Then I will use my full power to cut through the magic field and you can enter through the gap.”

At Nigel’s words Nabu gulped and maneuvered the carpet to descend straight down.

As we approached we could see with our own eyes that there were dozens of layers of powerful magical fields.

He took a deep breath and immediately started to slide down the carpet towards the magic net.

Then a gust of wind like before occurred in the magic field.

He shouted at Naboo.

“Hermit! Now is the time!”

Nabu rushed into it at the fastest speed possible following Zeke’s words.
