A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 595
by Hectopascal(헥토파스칼 )
Episode 595
Scheherazade looked surprised as she looked at Zig holding the Tantric Kingdom’s royal seal with three eyes engraved on it.
“That pattern… could it be that the Three-Eyed Ones the ruling race of the Eternal Mountains that are only mentioned in legend actually exist?”
Zeke nodded.
“We are the Samjian race descendants of the ancient Shambhala. Now we call it the Tantra Kingdom.”
“The Tantra Kingdom. Does having that seal in your hand mean that you have conquered that kingdom?”
Zeke thought about it for a while before answering Scheherazade’s words.
“It may be a bit misleading to say that I have conquered it but it is true that I have inherited the title of King of Shambhala the origin of the Tantric Kingdom and therefore have legitimacy.”
Scheherazade was speechless as she listened to Zeke’s words wondering at the endless possibilities of his abilities and background.
‘It’s hard to even guess how many more amazing secrets this man is hiding.’
Zeke said looking at Scheherazade who had a blank expression.
“You don’t have to worry about the demons beyond the Eternal Wall anymore. We plan to build a defensive line by uniting the races within the Eternal Mountain Range with the Tantra Kingdom at the center.”
Scheherazade looked even more surprised than before at Zeke’s words.
“Does that mean you’re going to pioneer beyond the Eternal Wall? Huh… That place is a cave that hasn’t allowed outsiders for thousands of years. Even for you pioneering it won’t be easy.”
“The Tantric Kingdom has maintained its secret kingdom within the Eternal Mountains for a long time since the fall of Shambhala. If we utilize their power it is possible to open up the mountains.”
He had already made plans to release the power of the Tantric Kingdom which had been tied up by the blood system and then actively utilize it.
It would be a start to awaken the bloodlust of those with potential like Titus and Yulina to control the demons and continue to expand the safe zone within the Eternal Mountain Range.
In addition if branches of Paynun Pharmaceuticals and Reinhart Trading Company were established in the Tantra Kingdom and the culture of the Central Continent was introduced the pace of development could be accelerated.
Scheherazade nodded in agreement after hearing Zig’s plan to proceed in the Eternal Mountains.
“Develop beyond the barriers with the Tantra Kingdom as the center. What an amazing plan.”
“For this we also need the help of the Murk Empire. If you allow us to trade with Reinhart’s Trading Company a great trade route connecting Tantra the Murk Empire and the Central Continent will be created.”
Scheherazade was a woman of extraordinary intelligence having held the position of Sultan for a long time.
He quickly calculated the profits the Murk Empire could make once the trade route that Zeke had mentioned was completed.
‘It is beneficial to the empire in many ways.’
Scheherazade nodded and spoke to Zeke.
“So you want me to prepare troops to take advantage of these gains? If Arthur Draker were to revive the Dark Lord and do something about it it would be impossible to create such a large-scale trade network.”

“Yes trade can be expected to develop more actively when the continent is stable.”
Scheherazade knew that what Zeke said was correct.
Scheherazade who had been calculating in various ways nodded her head.
“Very well. If you can vouch for what you say Zeke Draker then you will be able to convince the ministers.”
Zeke could barely breathe a sigh of relief at Scheherazade’s words.
At that Scheherazade clicked her tongue and shook her head.
“Actually it would be easier if you were my servant. It’s really difficult.”
“That may be a different issue in its own right.”
Scheherazade knew better than anyone else about the delicate relationship between the Central Continent and the Eastern Continent so she knew exactly what Zeke was talking about.
She said with a sly smile.
“I can’t deal with you with words. Anyway since the urgent matter has been resolved I will now enjoy the banquet at my leisure…”
Wooooow!
Before Scheherazade could finish speaking a vibration occurred in Zeke’s arms.
When Zig took out the thing causing the vibration it was none other than the mirror that Nabu had given him.
It seemed like the communication network was not reachable within the Mannyeonsan Mountains so the connection was lost but it seemed like it was reconnected when we arrived at the Muruk Empire.
Zeke received Nabu’s call straight through the mirror.
“Eunja I was going to contact you anyway…”
―“Zeke! We’re in trouble!”
Nabu shouted at Zeke in an urgent voice.
―“Damn it! Storm Castle! They’re coming here!”
When he heard Nabu’s words Zeke jumped up from his seat with a stern expression.
“They came in like a storm. Who said that? Could it be…?”
―“Arthur Draker! He sent them! That Harvey West is on Arthur Draker!”
Zeke furrowed his brow at the thought that the still-surviving Harvey West had joined hands with Arthur Draker.
‘Harvey West and Arthur Draker.’
It was the worst-case scenario he could think of.
Nabu’s voice rang out again.
―“Damn half of the High Tables have already been defeated by Arthur Draker! And in the meantime Harvey West led his outsiders and came to attack this place!”
“Are they after the black star over there?”
Then Nabu clenched his teeth and said
―“Listen carefully Zeke! The Lion’s Book is here…”
Chijijik―
―“There is…..”
Chichijijichik!
The communication was cut off before Nabu could properly finish his sentence.
But Zeke clearly understood Nabu’s last words.
‘The Lion’s Book is in the Storm Castle?’

As far as he knew the Book of the Dead which sealed the Demon King’s soul was located in the Last Tower on the abandoned continent beyond the Dark Sea.
It was unclear why the Book of the Dead which was said to be beyond the Dark Sea was in the Storm Castle but it was clear that the situation there was becoming increasingly dire.
Zig put the mirror back in his bosom and said to Scheherazade.
“Your Majesty I guess we’ll have to enjoy the banquet next time.”
Scheherazade who had already seen the whole situation shrugged and nodded at those words.
“Okay I understand. Heroes are always busy. How can I help you?”
Zeke thought about it and then said to Scheherazade.
“Convince the ministers that Arthur Draker’s advance is imminent and that we must prepare together for him.”
“Okay you don’t have to worry about that. I already made up my mind during our conversation. Is there anything else you need?”
“Please convey my situation to Mycenae. I will organize the contents and give them to you. And lastly…..”
He said with a twinkle in his eye.
“Please give me just one boat. If possible a sturdy one.”
* * *
Kookookookookook!
Zeke boarded the sailboat given to him by Scheherazade and headed to the stormy seas.
But the shape of the sailing ship they were on was unusual.
The surface of the ship was made of bones and ice and its forepart was decorated with the skull of a fearsome beast.
Anyone who saw it would think it was a cursed ghost ship drifting the sea.
On the deck of a ship that could be called a monster ship two Arch Liches were floating busily in the air.
The two of them were busy summoning bones and ice to repair holes made by strong waves hitting the side of the ship or chasing away fierce sea monsters that approached.
In front the captain Nahuel was diligently guiding the boat through the rough sea.
Wow! Wow!
But then suddenly a giant sea monster reared up and tried to devour the ship in one fell swoop.
Bane and Richmond were surprised by the sight and immediately used their magic.
Kwakwakwakwa!
The monster was frozen by Bane’s ice magic then pierced by Richmond’s bone spear and sank into the sea.
Richmond spoke to Zeke with a deathly look on his face.
“My lord what on earth is this sea? It seems rougher than last time.”
Zeke was leisurely drinking tea while blocking the seawater splashing up on the rocking boat with his Shadow Armor.
He answered Richmond’s words in a calm voice.
“Okay so check more diligently and thoroughly to make sure there are no holes in the boat.”
Richmond gnashed his teeth and trembled at Zeke’s words.
‘He said he went to the demon world and became a great monarch but he really became a devil…’
“I can hear you all Richmond.”
“Huh! I didn’t say anything. It was Bane who did it Master!”
It was Richmond who dragged in Bane who was just sitting there saying he would live alone.
Zeke who had left Richmond and Bain in charge of the training drank tea and looked out at the rough sea.
‘As Richmond said the sea is much rougher than before.’
It wasn’t a natural storm.
On the Murk side the calm sea began to sway madly as it approached the storm.
‘This storm is related to the storm.’
Although it boasted tremendous waves before the current situation was incomparable to that time.
It was at that time that the two Richies and Nahuel were somehow able to navigate the rough seas.
Bane who was floating in the air shouted.
“Master! I see something ahead!”
Zeke got up from his seat strained his eyes and looked in the direction Bane had pointed.
Then his expression hardened.
This was because dozens of ships bearing familiar markings were visible.
‘Drake’s Dark Stage.’
Ships bearing the insignia of the Black Stage were gathered around the Storm Castle.
On the surface the current Dark Stage had pledged allegiance to Zeke along with Baron Draker.
However Zeke did not believe that Baron or even the Black Stage was truly loyal to him.
If that were the case there would have been no need to create a new spy organization called Nemesis centered around Boris.
‘The current Black Stage is loyal only to Arthur Draker.’
If Arthur Draker had really died then I wouldn’t know but I couldn’t trust them even more when it was revealed that his death was fake.
‘It seems that Arthur Draker intervened as the hermit said. The Black Stage is here.’
Zeke narrowed his eyes and steered the boat towards the dark stage where the ship was.
But then he felt something approaching the ship Zeke was on.
At first I thought it was a sea monster but the aura I felt was different.
‘External species?’
As soon as Zeke noticed a horrifying-looking alien demon with tentacles sprouting from under the water appeared.
Gooooooooooo!
A giant three-headed worm-like creature with tentacles growing from the surface tried to wrap itself around Zig’s stomach.
Richmond and Bain saw this and quickly used their magic.
Doo doo doo doo doo!
Hundreds of ice arrows and bone arrows flew towards the demon and hit him hard.
Gooooooooo!
The demon struck by the bone and ice arrows slowly retreated as if it had been struck.
But as if it couldn’t end like this it stretched out its tentacles again and tried to attack Zeke’s stomach.
Zeke saw this and summoned his summoned creatures from the shadows.
Guardians Caligula and Ashvin appear.
Among the summoned creatures that Zeke possessed they were guardians with the highest attack power.
Caligula raised his black moonwheel with three gleaming eyes and Ashvin spread his four wings and created a black spear of shadow.
“Get rid of it.”
As soon as Zeke’s order was given Caligula and Ashwin flew up and attacked the external species demons.
Caligula was the first to blast the black moon wheel cutting off all of the demon’s tentacles.
As the surprised demon hesitated at the sharp attack Ashvin threw a spear made of shadow with the power of the wind.
Kwakwakwakwa!
A spear imbued with the power of the wind pierced through the demon’s body creating a huge hole.
Krrrrrr!
The external demons were no longer able to regenerate their bodies and shrank under the powerful attacks of the Guardians.
And then in that gap something fell from the air.
Kwakwakwakwakwang!
Zeke holding the holy sword Ascalon struck the outsider with a thunderbolt imbued with divine power.
Pah pah pah pah!
The external demon who was directly hit by hundreds of lightning bolts sank to the bottom of the sea blackened and charred without even being able to scream.
Richmond and Bane gaped in amazement at the power of the newly summoned Guardians Zeke had unleashed.
‘If this continues I’ll end up with nothing to eat.’
‘Surely the master wouldn’t turn me into a skeleton ornament just because he doesn’t need it right?’
Zeke ignored the two anxious Richies and led the boat to the Black Stage ship.
At that moment a long-distance communication came in for Zig.
Support support support support―
Zeke took out his crystal ball and checked the communication.
―“Hello Sir Zeke.”
The person who contacted me through the Sujeong-gu was none other than Souma the right-wing leader of the Black Stage.
