    Episode 58

    “It’s Orichalcum.”

Gelion touched Zig’s Hersion with trembling fingertips.

“Oh my god. I never thought I would see Orichalcum in my lifetime….”

    “Is this metal that precious?”

    Gelion said startled.

“Your Majesty! Orichalcum is said to be the most perfect substance that the gods left in this world.”

“I see. So how much value is this Orichalcum worth?”

“Orichalcum is said to have a magical conductivity far superior to that of any other metal. This means that it can engrave much more magic into itself than metals with the same surface area.”

Zeke remembered what had come to mind when he first registered the armor.

‘Come to think of it you said that there were twenty-eight great magic circles engraved on it.’

    Zig asked Gelion a question.

“How many great magic circles can be engraved on a normal armor?”

At those words Gelion made a face as if he was dumbfounded.

“How many great magic circles? Your Majesty… In the first place it is impossible to carve large magic circles into regular armor.”

Gellion said it was as difficult as engraving a book into a grain of wheat.

Zig looked at the Herzion he was wearing and was amazed.

‘How on earth did they make this thing that has twenty-eight great magic circles engraved on it which is something that can’t even be engraved on regular armor?’

To that extent it seemed that even Cain the original owner of this armor did not properly understand its original function.

    Zeke asked Gelion.

“Is it possible to change this armor into another form?”

    Then Gelion waved his hand.

“Oh you mean Orichalcum? It’s impossible.”

“You think it’s impossible? Is handling Orichalcum that difficult?”

“Even though it’s the metal of the gods it’s still metal so I can handle it somehow. However the problem is that this armor is already finished. If I touch it and the magic circles engraved inside are damaged I might not be able to use the armor itself.”

Zeke understood what Gelion was worried about.

‘Well I guess I’ll have to use the armor only in urgent cases.’

    Then Gelion spoke cautiously.

    “Maybe it is possible Master.”

“Are you talking about a famous general?”

“Yes. I think it would be possible for Master to change only Hersion’s appearance without touching its functions.”

“I see. Do you happen to know where Golin is right now?”

“As always Himonas will be working hard to make what you want to make.”

Zeek’s expression hardened at the word “himonas.”

    “Himonasura…..”

Gelion spoke to Zeke his face becoming serious.

“You probably don’t know. It’s a very northern area.”

    Zeke opened his mouth slowly.

“This is the area where the Northern Grand Duke is located.”

Gelion was surprised at those words.

“How did you know? I don’t think the people of the Central Continent would know the term Northern Grand Duke.”

“Just. I just happened to find out.”

At Zeke’s words Gelion realized that he did not want to talk any more so he made an embarrassed expression and did not ask any more questions.

    ‘Himonasura.’

The place I miss the most but don’t feel like going there right away.

Zeke didn’t want to go there rashly because he didn’t know how he would feel if he went there and saw her.

‘There’s still plenty of time. Later. It’s not too late to achieve everything I wanted to achieve.’

Zeke gave the room to Gelion and returned to his room himself.

He couldn’t fall asleep all night because he was lost in thought.

The next day Zeke headed straight to the secret branch of Reinhart Trading Company.

It was a place where Princess Melissa used to hold secret meetings regarding company business and Zeke who had become a director of the company also decided to attend.

    “Welcome Mr. Zeke.”

Cliff the owner of the company greeted Zeke in the conference room.

Princess Melissa arrived early and was reviewing the papers.

“It’s been a while Sir Zeke.”

    She too welcomed Zeke warmly.

Zeke and Melissa Cliff sat down at a round table and began the meeting.

Cliff was the first to bring up the topic.

“I think the production of medicine using Soma that Mr. Jik mentioned can proceed without a problem. However.”

He slowly brought up the issue.

“At least within the Central Continent it seems difficult to build a factory to process Soma into medicine.”

At first they were thinking of setting up a factory in the Kingdom of Alencia but even Princess Melissa had difficulty exerting her influence on this.

Since Melissa was known as a philanthropist rumors that she was supporting a pharmaceutical company that processed the drug soma would tarnish her reputation.

After hearing that Zeke said to Cliff.

“What if it’s a medicine that has already been processed?”

“There is no problem importing processed medicines as long as they are safety-verified by Matap.”

“Then that’s fine. Let’s just build a factory in the Southern Continent make the products and have Reinhart import and distribute them.”

Melissa shook her head at those words.

“Sir Zeke I’m sorry to say this but Reinhart Trading currently does not have the resources to build a large-scale pharmaceutical factory in the south. We have barely managed to build a factory to produce a cure for the safflower disease.”

    Then Zeke chuckled.

“We’ll make it on our side. But once the item is made please contact Matap from Reinhart’s side and get permission.”

Melissa was taken aback by Zeke’s words.

“Sir Zeke himself is going to the factory? Could it be that Draker is coming from there?”

    He shook his head.

“I will be doing this with my own personal funds so you don’t have to worry about Drake interfering.”

I wanted to know more but the personal finances part was not something that Princess Melissa herself could discuss.

    She nodded.

“Okay. If the southern factory is built we will take care of importing medicine and selling it to the central continent.”

“The import agency will contact you shortly. Please speak to your representative for more details.”

The import agency that Zeke spoke of was none other than the syndicate’s shell company.

‘We’ll also need to find someone in charge of the pharmaceutical factory. It would be nice to have a trustworthy wizard.’

The hardest part has always been finding people I can trust.

When Melissa and the meeting were almost over Zeke brought up another topic.

“I have something to tell you Your Majesty.”

    “What’s the matter Sir Zeke?”

“This time I have obtained new information about the Empire.”

Zeke handed over to Princess Melissa a document containing only the necessary information from the laboratory in the Southern Dungeon.

Melissa looked at the material Zeke had handed her and her expression immediately hardened.

“Oh my god. The Empire is working with the Scorpion Clan to conduct human experiments on synthetic venom?”

    Zeke nodded and said.

“If the Honghwabyeong is a disease created by magic then the Empire may have been conducting clinical trials of a new magical weapon on Alencia.”

    Melissa clenched her teeth.

“I couldn’t believe it. I never thought they would really do something like this to our people.”

The evil deeds of the empire hit home even harder because Melissa herself had contracted the disease and was saved by the medicine given to her by Zeke.

    Zeke said to Melissa.

“Your Majesty the reason I gave you this information is because the Empire’s evil deeds must be kept secret for the time being.”

Melissa furrowed her delicate brow at Zeke’s words.

“What do you mean Sir Zeke? We must immediately inform the international community of the Empire’s evil deeds so that they never do something like this again.”

“I understand how you feel. However this information is not conclusive enough to be used as a diplomatic card.”

This was also the conclusion that Zeke reached after thoroughly looking through the materials.

The Empire cleverly shifted the blame for this experiment to the Scorpion Clan.

The Scorpion Clan was a famous group of warlocks so human experimentation wasn’t a big issue there.

For the Empire it would have been enough to deny its relationship with the Scorpion Clan and express regret.

Melissa clenched her fists and trembled as she understood what Zeke was saying.

    He said to Princess Melissa.

“Your Majesty this information could be a more advantageous card for us to hold onto than to announce it to the public.”

“What does that mean Sir Zeke?”

“The Empire doesn’t know that the Princess and I have this information. Since the Empire is conducting extensive experiments there must be evidence directly related to them somewhere.”

Princess Melissa understood what Zeke meant.

“So you’re saying that it would be better to combine that evidence with this data to really put pressure on the Empire?”

“That’s right. However the reason I showed you this material first was to prepare you in advance.”

    “What are you prepared for?”

“If the Hongwha poison was used for clinical trials in the Alencia conflict zone it is highly likely that other poisons will be tested here as well. Before that we must first create an antidote for these poisons.”

Princess Melissa nodded vigorously at Zeke’s words.

If these weapons were used in a conflict zone Alencia’s troops would have to fight while poisoned.

However if you prepare the antidote in advance you can actually hit the Empire in the back of the head.

“If we catch the men who used this poison there will be no way to deny that the Empire was involved in these illegal human experiments.”

“That’s right. If that happens the conflict between the Empire and Alencia can become an issue for the entire Central Continent.”

The princess was convinced by Zeke’s words.

At the same time he felt once again that it was the right decision to bring Zig into the company.

    ‘My choice was not wrong.’

After delivering all the messages Zig stood up from his seat.

“I don’t think I’ll be able to attend meetings for a while.”

“I see. If I get the chance later I would like to invite Sir Zig to Alencia. Alencia is a place with many beautiful mountains and peaceful calm lakes.”

    Zeke nodded.

    “I know.”

“Have you ever been to Alencia?”

Then Zeke paused and shook his head.

“I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place. Next time you visit please show me many more beautiful places.”

Princess Melissa nodded with the aforementioned expression at Zeke’s words.

After leaving the secret meeting place he went straight into Valhalla.

When I went to the training ground Aster and Diego who I hadn’t called were there.

    “Diego? Why are you here?”

“Hey bro! It’ll be sad if you two play together without me!”

    “I thought you hated training.”

“Of course I don’t like training. I just like cheering!”

Diego spoke brightly but Zeke had no idea what he was saying.

Eventually Diego was also dragged by Zeke and joined the training.

“Zeke! To the devil yo! As expected Draker’s blood never goes anywhere yo!”

“Stop talking nonsense and swing your sword one more time Diego.”

Diego grumbled and swung his sword as if dancing.

After that the three continued their training.

Diego was quite a brat in front of Zeke on the first day of training but after he flew like Aster and crashed into the wall he became obedient and well-behaved.

‘Anyway I’m telling you you have to use your strength to get what you say.’

Aster and Diego who had undergone hellish training under Zeke’s command for a week were slowly becoming colored by him.

The day of the mission arrived and the three headed to Atlas Central Station to travel to Delphos.

The three were able to sit in the special section with just their Valhalla student IDs.

As soon as the three of them took over the spacious special room Diego lay down on the sofa and started to snore.

“I’ll die before I even complete my mission yo.”

When Zeke told Diego to be quiet if he didn’t want to be in the transparent chair the whole time Diego immediately shut his mouth.

At that moment someone came into the special room.

A handsome knight in a Drake uniform with a sword.

It was someone Zeke knew well.

    ‘Andrey?’
