    Episode 577

    Kookookookookook!

The shadows that enveloped the bound angels of the Gemini gradually darkened their bodies.

    Gooooooooo!

The angels of Gemini screamed as if resisting Zeke’s shadow.

But it was impossible to stop the shadows that were encroaching on them.

[The power of the constellation ‘The One Who Crossed the Wall’ is eroding the 3rd Watchman.]

[Enforces the 3rd Guardian with the unique power of complete dominion.]

[The third watchman succumbs to the power of the constellation.]

Soon the angels of Gemini merged into one completely consumed by the shadow.

A pair of angels that were incomplete and lacked lower bodies because they could not fully develop came together to form one complete being.

    Tsk tsk tsk―

As Solomon’s chains were released the united angels stood up.

Like other shadow spirits it had eight wings on its blackened body and four eyes on its face.

As the Angel of Gemini revealed his transformed form a message appeared before Zeke’s eyes.

[The eroded 3rd sentinel has been reconstructed into a shadow incarnation with the power of re-creation.]

[The reconstructed shadow avatar is registered as the user’s guardian.]

[Would you like to give this Guardian a name?]

Zeke transformed the angel the sentinel of the apocalypse into a shadow incarnation and made him the Guardian.

He gave a name to the angel of the sign Gemini who became his new guardian.

    “Let’s call him Ashvin.”

Originally a pair of twins they were incompletely hatched into one entity a shadow incarnation so Zeke named them after forgotten ancient heroes known as the Divine Twins.

The Guardian named Ashvin opened his eyes wide.

A golden light streamed from both pairs of eyes.

Ashwin knelt before Zig and expressed his intentions.

[Shadow Avatar Ashvin I swear allegiance to the great monarch.]

As an incarnation subordinate to the power of absolute dominion it seemed as if he swore absolute loyalty to Zeke.

Zeke looked satisfied as he looked at Ashvin who was prostrating himself before him.

‘I unexpectedly got a Guardian as strong as Caligula.’

Using the power and knowledge of Satan he was able to make the Guardians of the End who could be considered incarnations of the constellations his guardians and completely subordinate them.

If the Angel of Gemini had fully hatched it would have been impossible to subjugate him like this even if he had absorbed Satan’s power.

‘It will be of great help in the coming war.’

Satisfied Zeke sent Ashvin into the shadows.

Soon the Sky City of Laputa a unique realm created by the Twin Angels began to collapse.

    Tsk tsk tsk―

As cracks appeared around them the world of their own domain shattered like a broken glass window.

As Zeke stood firm in the shaking and breaking world he looked around at one moment and saw the Dragon’s Grave Canyon again.

He slowly rose into the air took out Levatein and aimed it at the canyon.

    Wooooow!

Zeke now summoned the power of the Elemental Sword which he had complete control over.

As the field of gold power unfolded the entire valley began to shake in response.

At that moment Zeke’s eyes turned into dragon’s eyes and the vibrations occurring in the canyon grew louder.

    Kugugugugugu!

The valley soon collapsed under the force of the gold mine.

I couldn’t just leave a place with enough danger to lure a dragon into a trap so I used the Elemental Sword to destroy it in one go.

    Kwakwakwakwakwakwa!

Zig turned his head as he watched the collapsing canyon.

The war was coming to an end as the Allied forces entered Jupiter Castle and raised their flag.

The early Bon Jik’s eyes calmly settled down.

‘This puts out the urgent fire.’

Following the Abyss headquarters in Siemens’ Labyrinth the remnants of the Empire were also dealt with so all threats that appeared on the surface were dealt with.

But the fundamental threat still remained.

‘The Demon King the Celestial Constellations and… Arthur Draker.’

Zeke was even more anxious than when he was dealing with the Abyss because he had no idea what Arthur Draker was planning.

He set his sights on tracking down Arthur Draker who had faked his death and disappeared.

Zig who had gathered his thoughts took something out of his inventory.

    ‘The legacy of Arthur Draker.’

Zeke was the only clue to track him down.

Zig’s face flashed as he held the key in his hand.

At the same time Zeke’s new form disappeared into the collapsed canyon.

    * * *

    Doo doo doo doo doo!

Cain Breaker the leader of the Breaker Mercenary Group known as the Advancing Mercenary Group escaped from Jupiter Castle with the remaining mercenaries.

Kane who had a long scar running across his face was a strong man with the skills of a Blue Knight despite being a mercenary.

When he saw the monster appear in the castle of Jupiter he immediately led his troops and escaped the castle.

    ‘Those damn warlock bastards…’

The monster that suddenly appeared of course went mad due to the black magician’s curse and charged at the Allied Forces losing most of their troops.

Kane clenched his teeth and shuddered as he recalled the bizarre events that had occurred at Jupiter Castle.

These were memories I didn’t really want to remember.

‘Damn I believed that damn Castro and I got completely screwed.’

Before escaping the castle they managed to take some of the Roman Empire’s treasures that had been hidden in the warehouse thinking they would receive the remaining amount but it was very small compared to the damage suffered by the entire mercenary group.

They had lost nearly half of their mercenary group and the remaining members were injured.

Kane clicked his tongue inwardly and decided to get as far away from here as possible to recharge his batteries.

While they were walking along the road the vice-captain behind them spoke to Kane.

“Where are we going now Commander? The central continent will be under the control of the Drakers. Where will we be able to stay?”

Kane clenched his teeth and said at the vice-captain’s words.

“…First we’ll go to the lawless zone. We’ll take care of the treasures there to raise funds then we’ll head south to reorganize.”

There were still many areas in the southern part of the empire and the southern continent that were not within the reach of the kingdoms.

Kane planned to establish a base there away from the eyes of the Central Continent and then reorganize for a few years. The continent was currently in a state of great chaos so if he was lucky he might find a place to go first.

But then something appeared in front of the Breaker mercenary group.

    ‘That’s?’

Kane’s eyes caught sight of a flag bearing a familiar emblem.

    “Patience Kalam Mercenary Corps”

    “Brave Brothers Mercenary Corps”

Two of the three major mercenary groups on the continent excluding the Breaker Mercenary Group of Advance had made their appearance.

Kane was taken aback by the sudden appearance of the Kalam Mercenaries and the Brothers Mercenaries.

    ‘Why are they here?’

On the hill Jaina Kalam the leader of the Kalam Mercenaries and Fein Rogers the leader of the Brothers Mercenaries looked down on Kane.

But when I looked closely I saw someone standing between Jaina and Fein.

Kane frowned not knowing the identity. And the one who made Kane feel suspicious was none other than Liam a knight of the Dark Spirits.

Fein said to Liam with a grin on his face holding a branch in his mouth.

“He came just as the captain said.”

At those words Jaina who was sitting across from him spoke with a cold face.

“Hasn’t Fein Rogers any pride? How can he call himself the captain so easily?”

Fein shrugged his shoulders in response to Jaina’s stern words.

“No what? Isn’t this something that you both agreed on? You fight fairly and the loser follows the orders of the winner. And we lost. It’s a bit much to talk about something else now.”

    Jaina frowned at Fein’s words.

The Kalam Mercenary Corps and the Brothers Mercenary Corps who had the imperial army at their backs and were standing in opposition to the high-spirited Breaker Mercenary Corps were in a great crisis after losing many of their troops.

It was none other than the Stone Mercenaries led by Liam who saved the two mercenary groups being chased by enemies on the battlefield.

He was on a special mission from Zeke and that mission was to organize a separate mercenary group and carry out activities.

Liam organized the Stone Mercenaries by gathering capable members from the disintegrated mercenary groups and those who had lost their jobs on the battlefield.

The combination of the capital received from Zeke and Liam’s outstanding skills allowed the Stone Mercenaries to grow rapidly in a short period of time.

Liam led the Stone Mercenaries and under Zeke’s instructions made a proposal after rescuing the Kalam Mercenaries and the Brothers Mercenaries as a top priority.

If I win by competing against these two people I will join the Stone Mercenaries without any conditions.

Fain and Jaina accepted the offer and simultaneously attacked Liam but were not able to defeat him.

Eventually the two mercenary groups came under the command of the Stone Mercenary Group and two of the three largest mercenary groups on the continent came under Liam’s command.

Fein who had a gentle personality quickly accepted Liam as her leader and adapted but Jaina still seemed unhappy about being subordinate to someone.

Liam who was listening to the conversation said.

“Jaina Kalam you don’t have to respect me as your captain. Mercenaries are not knights.”

He paused for a moment then drew his twin swords and continued speaking.

“But keep in mind the world of mercenaries follows the law of the strong.”

    Woohoo!

Liam turned his gaze away from Jaina and shouted at Kane the leader of the Breaker mercenary group.

“Cane Breaker! My name is Liam Stone! As the leader of the Stone Mercenary Corps I challenge you to a duel!”

Kane frowned as he heard Liam shouting at him from the top of the hill.

He was famous as a strong man with the strongest skills among the mercenaries.

To Kane who didn’t know that Liam was a knight it seemed like nothing more than a puppy barking without knowing the fear of a tiger.

At that moment when I was so dumbfounded that I couldn’t even respond Liam shouted again.

“Are you afraid to cross swords with me? If so get off your horse kneel and surrender!”

Kane shouted his face turning red at Liam’s insulting remark.

    “How dare that little brat!”

He immediately took out his sword.

And before the vice-captain next to him could stop him Kane rode his horse towards where Liam was.

Liam saw this and said in a low voice.

    “Look carefully.”

    Doo doo doo doo!

Liam also rode his horse down the hill.

On the other side Kane was running towards me with a terrifying momentum.

    Wooooow!

A strong vibration occurred from Cain’s sword and soon a rough wave of aura began to form.

    Kookookookookook!

Kane who learned the Auror training method from a knight who had gone into hiding in the past was different from a typical mercenary.

He was the strongest among mercenaries with a combination of his strong swordsmanship that overwhelmed knights and his sharp combat sense that he had built up as a mercenary.

The performance he displayed was so impressive that the arrogant central kingdoms were quick to invite him as a knight.

Despite such a situation Liam was not at all daunted by his momentum. He calmly ran towards Kane lowering his stance and holding his dual swords.

As the distance closed an explosive aura blade erupted from Cain’s sword.

Liam of course looked like he was going to cut the horse he was riding in two at once.

    “Chahaaaaat!”

    Kookookookookook!

There was a flash of light as a powerful auror blade was about to descend upon Liam’s head.

    Choaaaang!

Liam’s twin swords also erupted with aura blades deflecting Kane’s sword.

    Jeeeeing!

Kane’s eyes widened as if he hadn’t expected his sword to bounce off.

And Liam didn’t miss this opportunity.

In an instant his quick sword was unleashed.

    Shushu shushush!

Liam’s sword strike passed through Kane’s body at a speed that was too fast to be seen with the naked eye.

    Doo doo doo doo!

To those watching from afar it was just a brief collision and then a passing glance.

But something unusual happened to Kane as he passed by Liam.

    “Krrrrrrr!”

I thought Kane’s body was tilted but that wasn’t it.

Kane’s head fell to the ground while he was still riding his horse.
