    Episode 50

    Woohoo!

A clear sword sound rang out from the sword held by the hunting dog.

It was said that at least the yellow check was achieved.

In fact in a direct confrontation not an assassination a southern hitman could never defeat a knight from the Central Continent.

There was a difference in the way training was done from the beginning.

But Zeke was no ordinary Southern hitman.

He charged his dagger with the power of the wind and threw it at the hunting dog in front of him.

    visor!

The hound swung his sword with an aura and struck down Zeke’s dagger then immediately shouted at the other hounds.

“You have the artifact! Be careful the dagger is imbued with magical powers!”

It seemed like they mistook elemental power for magic.

Zeke pulled out more daggers and held them in both hands.

    Then he quickly leapt forward.

    Whee!

Zeke moved his body nimbly like a southern hitman targeting the knights’ weak points and openings.

    Thud!

However the hunting dogs were wearing tough armor under their clothes.

Zeke realized that a cheap dagger was no match for him.

“Hmm. If this is the case I guess I’ll just have to kill them all.”

Zeke quickly made a decision threw away his dagger and drew Bahamut from behind him.

    Woohoo!

A powerful sword sound rang out in Bahamut.

The hunting dogs were taken aback by the unexpected situation.

“That guy is not a southerner. He is a knight.”

Zeke turned and aimed for the one who had been relaying the situation to the other hunting dogs.

His sword was imbued with the power of the wind.

    WHEEK!

The hound trusted in the power of the armor he wore.

This was because the armor was capable of deflecting ordinary sword strikes.

But that was a big mistake.

    Crunch!

It cut off not only Zeke’s black armor but also his waist.

    Kuung!

The other hunting dogs stood on guard tense as they watched the mutilated body of the hunting dog.

Some of them tried to get back but soon they sensed something strange.

    Jjeong!

An invisible barrier blocked the passage.

When Bahamut was drawn he had already torn the scroll and created a magical barrier.

Zeke looked at the hounds with a smirk.

“I guess I can test the results of my training.”

    Woohoo!

Bahamut’s vibrations grew stronger and the Aura Blade suddenly rose.

The hounds were confused when they saw Zeke’s auror blade.

    “The Blue Knight!”

Zeke took up his sword and took the form of the Dragon Slayer.

    Chapter 1 Section 1

    Sky beck

The sword form itself was a basic swordsmanship but it contained the secrets of the True Dragon Sword.

Zeke’s sword moved in a large arc.

    Kwakwakwakwa!

The energy from the auror blade created by Zeke spread out in all directions.

The hunting dogs touched by the energy tried to resist with their swords but it was no use.

    “Kwaaah!”

The Auror Blade cut through the sword armor and flesh of the hounds.

    Thud thud!

In an instant a dozen or so knights were scattered in a heap scattered here and there.

Those who were outside the Auror Blade’s sphere of influence were left lying on the ground barely able to catch their breath groaning.

Zeke went to Bahamut and checked each and every one of the living beings and killed them.

And finally he approached the living one and asked him.

“Why did the Imperial Hound come here?”

The hunting dog didn’t open his mouth.

Then Zeke clicked his tongue and opened his mouth again.

“Anyway he must have come to find ancient relics under the orders of the emperor.”

Looking at the surprised expression on the hunting dog’s face there was nothing more to ask.

Zeke swung Bahamut and blew off the head of the last one.

He unleashed the power of fire toward the scattered corpses.

    Whoosh whoosh!

The pure power of fire burned the bodies of the hounds.

“At this point there will be traces of a raid involving the Blue Knight and a wizard.”

Seeing the trail of the Favela Cartel and hoping to launch a stronger counterattack against the McCain Cartel Zeke left a trail that looked like a large number of knights and wizards had come.

After clearing up the scene Zigg looked inside the tunnel.

‘I never knew in my past life that the Imperial Hounds were with the Favela Cartel.’

Currently Zeke is sixteen years old and came to this camp but in his previous life he was over eighteen so there was a time difference of about three years.

So when I came here in my previous life it was possible that the hunting dogs had found what they wanted and then withdrew.

Zeke decided to check out what the hounds were looking for.

He turned on the map and found a place connected to the tunnel. He quickly headed to the place connected to the tunnel with Muyeongbo. It seemed to be an underground ruins site.

After running for a while a familiar dungeon landscape appeared.

‘There were dungeons in the South too.’

Ordinary people who don’t know much about it usually think that dungeons are only found in the Giant Mountains but in fact they are spread out all over the continent.

Zig used his dragon eye skill to freely search the dark dungeon and find traces of the hunting dogs.

The dungeon’s paths were as intricately intertwined as a maze but it wasn’t a big problem for Zeke who had a map.

At that moment I felt something coming from ahead.

Zeke hid his presence and focused on hearing.

“You lost contact with Patrol Team 3?”

It seemed like the guys Zeke had killed were part of Patrol Group 3.

With those words the other hunting dogs began to move busily.

Then they spread out here and there to find the 3rd group that had lost contact and as a result the camp they had set up in the dungeon became completely empty.

‘That’s good. I’ll have to find some information while I’m at it.’

Zeke sneaked into the camp hiding his presence.

It was much larger than the camp I had seen in the Bavarian realm.

Zeke examined the Southern Continent map posted on the wall of the situation room.

Code marks indicating dispatch were posted throughout the jungle including the location of the favela camp.

It seemed that this was the headquarters that managed the hunting dogs that were searching for ancient ruins in the Southern Continent.

Zeke shook his head after confirming that the Empire was extending its reach to the Southern Continent as well.

‘What on earth is this crazy emperor trying to find by doing all this nonsense? I don’t think he really believes that immortality is possible.’

Zeke memorized the locations of all the places where the hounds were dispatched.

[Record the location on the map.]

But surprisingly the mapping was automatically recorded in the system.

    ‘It’s really comfortable.’

Zig who had definitely obtained the map took the important documents from the situation room and put them in his inventory.

After gathering everything he needed he drew his sword.

“Should I leave a trace here too?”

Flames shot out from Zeke’s sword.

    Whoosh whoosh!

The situation room and the entire camp were on fire burning fiercely.

As the fire spread rapidly the hunting dogs remaining inside were startled and ran outside.

    “It’s fire!”

Zeke ran out and stabbed the panicking hounds with his sword.

The scars were all different to leave traces as if there were multiple knights.

    “Kwaaah!”

The hunting dogs panicked by the flames fell helplessly to Zeke’s sword.

After dealing with all the remaining hunting dogs Zeke tried to leave the camp.

But then something strange was felt behind Zeke.

    ‘what?’

Obviously nothing was marked on the map.

But then he felt an incredibly distinct presence behind him.

    Slowly he turned his head.

    thud!

A young knight with long red hair wearing the imperial-style great magic armor Hersion instead of the common hunting dog’s garb was looking at Zeke.

    Zeke immediately picked up Bahamut.

‘Hersion? Why is the red knight of the Empire here?’

Full plate armor that covers the entire body without any gaps.

Not only is it engraved with all sorts of auxiliary magic but it is also equipped with weight reduction magic and automatic repair magic making it an object among objects that automatically recovers even if it breaks.

Because it was such an expensive item to make there were no more than 100 people in the entire empire who had it.

As he did so Zeke began to have doubts as he watched the imperial knights approaching him.

    ‘Who is it?’

Any knight with a Hersion would at least know its appearance and name.

But the young knight approaching him was someone he had never known in his previous life.

The Herzion he was wearing there also looked different from the typical imperial one.

The knight of the empire stood before Zeke and opened his mouth.

“I thought there were several armies of wizards and knights but it was just one person who started this mess.”

From the accent I could tell that he was an imperial noble.

Zeke held Bahamut and asked him.

    “Who are you?”

Then the knight of the empire drew his sword and said:

“He may look tough but he is such an outstanding knight that he deserves to hear my name.”

    He said raising his sword.

    “My name is Cain.”

In an instant Cain raised his sword and charged forward.

    Kwakwakwakwa!

    Phew!

A heavy charge attack combining the weight of full plate armor and the power of aura struck Zeke.

    bang!

Ziggy stepped back pushed by the force.

Seeing that it was much more powerful than expected it seemed that the armor included strength enhancement functions in addition to the power of the aura.

Cain looked surprised as he blocked his own attack.

“You blocked my attack. That’s really amazing.”

It was as if he had discovered a fun toy.

Seeing that Zeke straightened his posture.

Then he took Bahamut and opened the auror.

    A clear aura blade soared.

Cain looked at Zigg like that and smiled.

“I am so glad to see a true knight like you in such a remote place!”

Zig silently stepped on the welcome mat and ran towards Cain.

    Shushu shuk!

Zeke’s sword struck Cain’s vital spot hard.

But it was blocked by Hersion and bounced off as black.

Cain looked at Zeke with a smirk.

“The Hersion I have is a special item. It even blocks the Aura Blade.”

Zeke looked at Cain who was smiling confidently and picked up his sword again.

Then he took a deep breath and used the skill Magic Reflection.

    Choke choke choke choke!

A magic reflection skill was deployed centered around Zig’s body.

    Phage crackle!

Fortunately the Herzion worn by Cain was also affected by the magic reflection with small sparks flying from its surface.

His expression was different from before.

“You. What have you done just now?”

    Zeke’s skills didn’t end there.

The dissonance skill stored in the shortcut slot was used.

    Kkieeeeing!

A strange nerve-wracking sound rang out.

    Cain frowned.

“Now I see that he was just a guy who showed off his talents!”

Instead of answering Zeke ran towards Cain and used his skill Flashbang.

    Flash!

A tremendous light burst right in front of Cain.

    “Ugh!”

Cain couldn’t open his eyes properly because of the flashbang.

Zeke swung his sword at Cain.

    bang!

Even in that situation Cain swung his sword and blocked Zeke’s sword.

Then with his eyes closed he swung his sword again at Zeke.

    bang!

Surprisingly Zeke deflected Cain’s sword with his bare body.

The body has been strengthened with the Dragon Clan skill Dragon Ring Armor.

    Zeke dug straight into Cain.

Then he tried to grab Cain’s leg using the pankration technique he had learned in his cradle days.

But then an ominous aura emanated from Cain’s body.

Blade-like energy surged forth spreading out in all directions like a hedgehog.

    Pachin!

Zeke instinctively rolled his body to the side to dodge then used his sword to distance himself from Cain.

Cain looked at Zeke with sunken eyes and said.

    “What a talented guy.”

Zeke also straightened his sword with more serious eyes and aimed at Cain.

‘I can’t believe someone this skilled doesn’t have a nickname.’

    It meant one thing.

‘Is this the Empire’s secret weapon?’

One of the reasons the Roman Empire does not engage in full-scale war with the Drakers is because of the difference in the number of Black Knights they possess.

The Drakers as a single house have five Black Knights.

If you include allied families or countries it would be possible to mobilize up to ten black knights.

However officially the Roman Empire only had three black knights.

No matter how many knights you have if the black knights known as the one-man army are mobilized no matter how many regular knights you have it is of no use.

If a young knight of the Empire had this level of skill and his nickname was unknown it was likely a weapon that the Empire had secretly hidden in order to train him to become a black knight.

    Zeke decided to leave Cain.

“The Roman Empire is also funny. They treat secret weapons like you like hunting dogs and ask you to dig up ancient relics.”

At Zeke’s words Cain smiled and shook his head.

“You know how to provoke you know how to do it.”

He said taking a step towards Zeke.

The sparks that had been rising from Hersion had also subsided as if the effect of the magic reflection had ended.

He said slowly opening his eyes.

“A knight of your caliber deserves to know my name.”

Cain took up his sword and said with courtesy.

“My name is Cain. Cain Siemens Constantine.”

    Zeke was startled.

    ‘what?’

    An unexpected name popped up.
