    Episode 361

The group in front of the mansion was none other than the barbarians of the Rock Tribe.

Wang Ju-Fuk put down Zig and leaned towards him.

“I really missed you Brother Zeke.”

“I did the same. But what happened to Atlas?”

Wang Ju-fuk scratched his head and spoke to Zeke.

“Your brother sent a letter to your father. He said he had children from our tribe and the Mohawk tribe with him. Your father said he should take more children and kill all the people who messed with us.”

Zeke told Big Foot the chieftain of the Rock Tribe that the wizards of Siemens were kidnapping barbarians brainwashing them and using them as weapons.

After hearing that Bigfoot seemed to have given the order to attack Siemens.

Originally the Barbarians rarely came out of their territory.

However seeing that they had sent down Wang Jumuk and the others showed how angry the Barbarian chieftains including Big Foot were.

Zig nodded and looked at the captain of the guard and the knights who were looking puzzled behind him and asked Wang Ju-fuk.

“But why did you fight with them?”

At those words Wang Ju-fuk shrugged his shoulders.

“I don’t know. I said I came to see Brother Zeke but he kept yelling so I just ignored him and came in.”

Since they were barbarians who originally lived with a unique culture different from that of the central continent they did not know the concept of identification cards or anything like that.

And it seems like this happened because we couldn’t communicate.

Zeke approached the captain and spoke.

“Thank you for your hard work. My name is Zeke Draker.”

The captain of the guard saluted him with a nervous expression at Zeke’s greeting.

“Sir Zigg! My name is Mark Soren and I am the captain of the 5th Guards Division! It is an honor to meet you!”

Zeke looked at the captain of the guard and gave him a slight salute.

“They are my guests. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding due to a lack of communication.”

The captain of the guard was surprised by Zeke’s words and asked back.

“Are you saying that the Barbarians are your honored guests?”

“Yes they are people I had a connection with while on a mission before and they came looking for me without any particular reason.”

The captain of the guard as well as the gathered soldiers and knights looked incredulous at the news that the barbarians were Zeke’s guests.

This was because the Barbarians were known to be a race that did not interact with humans.

‘The Knight of Salvation is different after all.’

‘I can’t believe those savages are following along so obediently.’

The mysteriousness of Zeke was further heightened by the sight of even the untouchable Barbarian following him.

The guards quickly disbanded deciding to deliver the cost of damage to property and medical treatment for the injured to Zig’s side as soon as it was calculated.

Zeke led the barbarian party into the mansion.

Luther and Omar who had been waiting for Zeke at the mansion also came outside because of the commotion outside.

Omar who was waiting for Zeke in that state was startled when he saw the barbarians walking with Zeke.

    “Ouch! The forest keepers!”

Zeke said as he watched Omar step back wary of the barbarians.

“Sir Omar you don’t have to worry. These are my colleagues.”

Omar looked incredulous at Zeke’s words.

“How can the forest keepers be your comrades? They never accept others unless they are of the same tribe…”

Then something suddenly occurred to Omar.

“As expected the knight chosen by the phoenix! Oh my god!”

Suddenly Omar collapsed on the floor and began to recite the prayer again.

Wang Ju-Fist looked at Omar like that and asked Zeke.

    “Why is he like that?”

Zeke opened his mouth after thinking about how to speak in the Barbarian language.

    “I’m scared of you guys.”

The barbarians snickered and showed off their muscles at Zig’s words.

    “Cheer!”

    “Cheer!”

They were Barbarians who smiled innocently and rejoiced.

Zeke looked at those barbarians as if they were cute and Omar and Luther looked at Zeke with kind faces and wonder.

In this way the barbarians joined Zeke’s camp and the barbarian legion was formed.

Zeke decided to proceed with the meeting with Julius but he could not immediately go over to the Republic of Dorta.

It was because of the appointment above the Guardian Knight.

Since Arthur had told Zeke that he would step down from the Guardian Knight position it was clear that this would happen.

Therefore as a Zeek he needed to see what his final decision would be and how Kali would react to it before making a decision on how to proceed.

The worst case scenario would have been for Carly and Helen to split from Zeke and become enemies pointing their swords at each other.

‘I don’t know how Sister Carly will act.’

I wanted to try contacting them first but the situation was quite delicate.

Since the family hadn’t officially decided to give Zeke the title of Guardian Knight they couldn’t just tell Carly about it.

Because if this message had been conveyed incorrectly the Four Seasons could have become even more confusing.

Zeke sat in his office thinking carefully about what to do.

Then the butler came into the office.

“Master Lady Arina Luverne has arrived.”

Zik got up from his seat when he heard that Arina had arrived.

“Please take me to the reception room.”

Arina remained in the Holy Land after Zigg left to discuss matters concerning the Pope and the Luverne clan.

After finishing the matter with the Pope he came to Atlas where Zeke was.

As Zeke entered the reception room Arina greeted him with a bright smile.

“Arina you’re here. Thank you for your hard work.”

After greeting her he brought out tea and served it to Arina.

    Arina nodded savoring her tea.

“It smells really good. Laura always gave me tea that smells so good.”

It was Arina who shared memories of her with Laura Zeke’s mother every now and then.

Even though I knew it I was still surprised when I realized that she was the same age as Laura Agamemnon.

“Did your discussion with Her Majesty Beatrice go well?”

Arina smiled and nodded at Zeke’s words.

“Yes when I spoke to you His Holiness was also thinking seriously about this issue. He said that it was difficult to cut off the connection because the other cardinals and bishops were so closely connected with the Empire and the Nostra family.”

The imperial raid provided an opportunity to completely eliminate the evils that had been customary in the Holy Land of Badoka.

Arina informed them of the results of their discussions stating that they had agreed to form an alliance with the Golden Dawn Society to not only hunt down the Luverne Bloodline but also to support and support a vigilante group that would eradicate the activities of slave traders themselves.

    Zeke nodded after hearing that.

“Good. I would definitely support such an activity.”

Arina smiled brightly at those words.

“Thank you Sir Zeke. And I have a gift for you.”

Along with the words Arina took out an old book and handed it to Zeke.

    “What is this?”

    “It’s one of Laura’s heirlooms.”

Zeke was shocked to hear that it was his deceased mother’s heirloom.

“Were any of your mother’s belongings left?”

“The Golden Dawn Society was managing the hideout of the Eastern Dawn Society where Laura was active. While I was looking through the items stored there just in case I found this.”

It seemed that traces of Laura Agamemnon remained within the kingdom.

Zeke slowly opened the old book.

Zig quickly skimmed through the contents and tilted his head.

    “Isn’t this… the Bible?”

    Arina nodded at those words.

“That’s right. But it’s not a regular Bible. It’s an apocryphal book.”

    “What if it’s external?”

“It refers to the parts of the Bible that were not included because their source was unclear or the truth was difficult to determine. While searching for the blood relatives of Luverne Sir Fabre and Laura also searched for these apocryphal books.”

“Mother? Do you know why I came to see you?”

“At the time I was blind so I couldn’t directly intervene in what the two were doing. I remember Laura taking the lead in this work more than Sir Fab. She… wanted to know the lost history through the Apocrypha.”

    “Lost history?”

“Yes. It’s the history before the era of the King of Heroes. It’s the history of the legendary city of Carcosa founded by the constellations.”

The era of the heroic king Caesar before the war of liberation was also a time of legend.

So the era of the ancient constellations which was even earlier in history remained only as passages of records whose existence is questionable.

The only records that remained were excerpts from the words of people from the era of the King of Heroes compiled together to contain only the content about the gods.

Anyone else would have dismissed it as absurd talk about gods but Zeke took it seriously.

This was because the legend of the God Slayer that I had heard from Tyr’s spirit happened in this era.

‘Perhaps the content about the Godkiller may also remain in the Apocrypha.’

Zeke recalled the words Arina had said “the legendary city of Carcosa.”

‘I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere. Where did I hear that?’

As the word Carcosa was weighing on his mind Zeke suddenly had an idea.

    ‘Solomon’s Ring!’

The legendary item that allowed one to seal the constellations and use their power was Solomon’s Ring.

‘It was said that Solomon the king of Carcosa received it from the Elder Dragon.’

    Zeke asked Princess Arina.

“Lady Arina do you know anything about the city of Carcosa and King Solomon?”

Princess Arina opened her eyes wide in surprise at Zeke’s question.

“You know King Solomon… I didn’t know that Sir Zeke was also well-versed in theology.”

“Is King Solomon a biblical figure?”

Then Princess Arina shook her head.

“The Bible that is available today is a new edition compiled by the Holy Kingdom so the content has changed a lot and has been shortened. In fact even in the Bible from the Holy Empire era there is only a slight mention of King Solomon.”

“Then you don’t know the details?”

    Then Arina shook her head.

“The very scripture that Laura discovered contains the story of King Solomon and Carcosa.”

“Where did you find this mother?”

Arina hesitated for a moment and then slowly opened her mouth.

    “In Draker’s secret library.”

While Zeke was momentarily speechless Ariana continued speaking slowly.

“I haven’t heard how Laura got into the secret archives. But I do know that she went into the secret archives looked at the Apocrypha and memorized all of its contents. All of it over 200000 characters long.”

“Are you saying that Draker kept that much of the outer world? Why on earth…?”

“Laura also wanted to find out the reason. I don’t know how she ended up marrying the head of the Draker family and giving birth to Sir Zeke but the Laura I know didn’t have any particularly good feelings toward the Drakers.”

“Isn’t it because the Draker family took advantage of the curse of the Agamemnon family to take over all of Midland?”

“Apart from that the Draker family itself… if you put it that way it seemed like they hated it.”

Zig said with a puzzled expression at Arina’s words.

“But it’s strange that she married Arthur Draker. And she even gave birth to me…”

    Laura nodded at Zeke’s words.

“Laura was someone who could see things that the criminal couldn’t so there was a limit to how much I could understand about her. Of course Laura herself was also quite a secretive person.”

To Zeke Laura Agamemnon was like a mirage that was just around the corner but not quite there.

‘Since he was able to prophesy with the power of Cronus did he see something into the future?’

It was still difficult to guess what happened between Laura and Arthur.

‘I guess I’ll have to go see Rex Turn once this is over. It’s a bit late but he said he’d tell me about my mother.’

At that moment Arina spoke to the thoughtful Zeke.

“The topic has digressed. Sir Zeke were you curious about Carcosa?”

    Arina said looking at Zeke.

“It’s in the book so you can read it but to put it briefly the reason Carcosa was destroyed was because of the blind love of the gods.”
