A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 301
by Jessie@AFNCC
Episode 301
The wizard of the abyss opened his mouth trembling at Zeke’s question.
“How about that…?”
The fact that the Orcs emerged from the Forest of the Forgotten was a closely guarded secret even within the Abyss.
As the wizard rolled his eyes and hesitated Zeke decided to search his memories himself considering the loss of information.
Tsk tsk tsk―
Bloodshot eyes appeared on Zeke’s forehead.
Immediately afterwards Zeke began to search the wizard’s memories using his power of shadow control and his dragon senses.
He calmly looked at the wizard’s memories flowing in piece by piece.
At the edge of the forest a wizard in black robes held a staff and chanted a spell and a black portal appeared in front of him.
‘Is this… the forest of the forgotten?’
Soon orcs began to emerge from the portal in a line.
‘You did something like that right in front of the forest and the Master just let it go?’
As someone who knew Nigel’s temper well Zeke knew that it was impossible for something like that to happen in the Forest of the Forgotten.
Because when a strange energy is detected Nigel immediately comes out and sweeps it all away.
As expected something started flying from across the forest.
The wizard who created the black portal moved busily and opened his palm toward the human he had placed inside.
All the humans whose life force was sucked out by the wizard turned into mummies and collapsed and the wizard immediately created a red portal.
And then my memory was cut off as wizards and orcs entered the portal.
Zeke realized what had happened.
‘He ran away before the Master arrived at the scene. He’s a wizard who creates portals. Is it black magic? Or… maybe it’s a power he gained by making a contract with a high-level demon.’
Zeke asked the wizard of the abyss.
“Who created the portal in the forest?”
“That that….”
The moment the wizard opened his mouth a strange reaction occurred in his body.
“Ugh!”

It seemed like something like hives were breaking out on his body but soon he started oozing pus and blood and collapsed and died.
There were many different ways to die from being caught in the trap.
Zig clicked his tongue and frowned then after getting the information he needed he set fire to the place where the Abyss guys had been burning away all traces.
Then he summoned Bucephalus and immediately left the Ogre Mountains.

A few days later Zeke arrived at Agamemnon Castle.
Surprisingly Zeros had already completed his formalities in Nirvana and was at Agamemnon’s castle.
Next to Zero was Jason who looked quite tired.
“Were the two of you acquainted?”
Then Zeros smiled brightly and said.
“Yes Jason was my junior at Matap. We even took sorcerer classes together.”
Zeros held the titles of Sorcerer and Warlock.
Jason on the other hand has not yet been given the title of Sorcerer as he has only learned one magic: earth magic.
Jason spoke to Zeke in a dying voice.
“Ugh… Master where did you pick up this monster?”
Then Zeros said with a hurt expression.
“Jason you monster? I’m just an ordinary wizard.”
Jason gritted his teeth at those words.
“If you are an ordinary magician I am just a dirt bug playing around in the dirt.”
In the Magic Tower Jason was considered a genius but Zeros was a genius wizard of a different level.
Zeke said as he looked at Jason like that.
“He is a talented person brought in to supplement the magical manpower of the Knights. Soon the Magical Legion will also be supplemented with manpower so there will be a lot of work to do.”
Jason nodded weakly at his words.
Arina officially disbanded the Rose Knights and transferred them to the Black Sword Knights.
Meanwhile she was assigned to teach magic at Agamemnon Castle as an advisor to the magic corps of the Black Sword Knights.
With the addition of the Rose Knights the Black Sword Knights now have a manpower of over two hundred similar to that of a medium-sized knight group.
The reason Zeke hurried to Agamemnon Castle was because the knight appointment ceremony for the official launch of the Black Sword Knights was scheduled for today.
Felix and Liam Diego Asterik both of the purple knight class along with Clone a blue knight class were scheduled to be knighted in the name of Agamemnon.
Decker who holds the title of Knight of Draker will be the leader Farel who holds the title of Knight of Thebes will be the vice-leader and when Cloone receives the title of Knight he will assume the position of vice-leader and lead the members of the old Rose Knights.
When Zeke hurried into the great hall of Agamemnon Castle the preparations for the crowning ceremony were already complete.
‘Thank goodness it’s not too late.’
Zeke activated Hersion before entering the hall.
Clang!
Before he knew it he was equipped with full plate armor.
The goddess Theia’s Hersion made of orichalcum gave off a mysterious glow not seen in ordinary armor.
Wearing Hersion and Jerome’s cloak over it Zik looked just like a legendary hero.
In the hall the elders of the Agamemnon family as well as the influential families of the central region were all gathered.

As Zeke entered everyone bowed their heads to him in respect.
He slowly walked up to the stage in the hall.
Zick who had climbed up to the highest seat greeted Rufus the head of Agamemnon’s household and maternal grandfather by embracing him.
The inauguration ceremony began as Zeke sat down in the chair next to Rufus.
Those who were to receive knighthood slowly entered the hall.
thud!
Cloone and Felix Liam Diego Asterik entered proudly wearing custom armor made by Gelion.
Surprisingly the armor they were wearing was all Herzion.
Hades’ improved drivetrain was applied to modern armor by Paynun and Gelion creating the Hersion for the Black Sword Knights.
The solid yet elegant black Hersion truly displayed the dignity of the Black Sword Knights.
As they knelt before the altar the head of the household Rufus Agamemnon stood up and spoke.
“Thank you to all the distinguished guests who have come to the ceremony of knighting the House of Agamemnon!”
Rufus’ voice echoed throughout the wide hall.
He said looking at the audience.
“After 65 years I have been able to award new knights with titles in the name of the House of Agamemnon! I have no doubt that they will demonstrate their nobility and firm will as knights for the peace and well-being of Mycenae and the Central Continent!”
As Rufus continued his speech at one point he turned his head and looked at Zeke.
“And today I Rufus Agamemnon hereby transfer the authority to bestow the title of knight to my successor Sieg Drake.”
Those words startled not only Zeke but also the audience gathered in the hall.
Transferring the authority to award knighthood effectively meant that Zikzag became the de facto ruler of the Agamemnon family.
Zeke looked at Rufus with a bewildered expression. Then Rufus grabbed Zeke’s shoulder and said.
“Everything that is named after Zik Agamemnon is yours.”
Rufus was going to step back and leave everything to Zeke leaving only the name of the family head.
Zeke nodded accepting his grandfather’s intention to hand everything over to him.
Srrrrrr!
He took out the Roland he had on his waist.
The audience was in awe at the sight of Zeke holding the brilliantly shining jewel sword Roland.
With the power of the dragon body and charisma combined everyone in the hall was suddenly sucked into Zeke.
The six people kneeling before him were the same.
Zeke raised his sword and slowly touched Clone’s shoulder.
“Clone Ironheart. Do you promise to be a loyal knight of the Black Sword Order?”
Clone bowed his head with a solemn expression and said.
“I promise to be loyal to my lord.”
Zeke asked the same question to the other five and received the same answers.
“I bestow upon you the title of knight in the name of Agamemnon.”
When he finished speaking he raised Roland and a bright light emitted from the sword.
It was a curtain of light that was used through the Holy Light.
Bright lights spread throughout the hall.
The nobles of the traditional and influential families in the central region trembled with excitement at the sight of the light.
“It is a holy light!”
“Holy King…! It is the return of the Holy King!”
They shuddered at the feeling that they had caught a glimpse of the first Holy King Geo Lubern who was said to be a messenger of light in Zeke.
Zeke smiled inwardly with satisfaction as he looked at the surprised middle-class nobles.
‘The effect of the Holy Light is very good.’
He had suddenly received the title of the Agamemnon family so he staged it in his own way fearing that there might be gossip among the families to which he had belonged.
I had expected that the nobles of the central clan who were mostly devout believers would not like seeing light magic and my guess was right.
Agamemnon’s knighthood ceremony held after 65 years was a great success.
* * *
“Wow I’m a full-fledged knight. I can’t believe it.”
After the award ceremony those who had been knighted gathered in the Round Table Room the meeting hall of Agamemnon Castle.
Clone put his legs up on the round table took a dried scorpion out of his bosom put it in his mouth and chewed it.
Then Felix who was standing next to me shook his head and said.
“If you Vice-Captain cause an accident it will be a disgrace to the Agamemnon family…! Keuk!”
Felix was hit by Clone for talking nonsense and was sent flying into the wall.
At that moment Zeke and Decker entered the conference room.
Clone stood up and shouted in an unusually military tone.
“Everyone salute your lord!”
Clone was originally a very loyal knight.
When the object of loyalty changed from Arina to Zeke he showed loyalty accordingly.
Following Clone’s words the others immediately straightened their postures.
Seeing those articles Zick waved his hand.
“Why are you suddenly being so burdensome? Everyone get some rest.”
“Rest in peace.”
It was the appearance of Klonedown who was in charge of the military standard of the Rose Knights.
Zeke spoke to the knights.
“First of all congratulations to everyone for becoming a knight. I know you’ll do well but I have one request.”
Zeke looked at them and said.
“Never die. Your lives come first in any situation.”
The most important virtue of a knight was to give his life for his lord.
But Zeke didn’t say that. Instead he said to protect his own life first.
After saying that Zeke got up right away.
Felix said embarrassed.
“Huh? My lord. Is it over?”
Zeke nodded.
“Okay that’s it. What else do you need?”
“No that’s not it but…..”
Zeke who had been watching Felix hesitate opened his mouth again.
“Now that I think about it I forgot to mention one thing.”
He said as he looked at the knights.
“There will be a war soon.”
At the mention of war Farrell asked Zeke with a serious expression.
“My lord which war are you talking about?”
Zeke thought for a moment and then slowly opened his mouth.
“Empire of Rome.”
At those words Clone took out his mace tapped it on his palm and muttered.
“The Roman Empire. It doesn’t matter where. I can just smash anyone’s head.”
The other knights shuddered at those words.
If it was Clone he would be the kind of person who would crack open your head and ask who you are.
Zeke said looking at the knights.
“These days Abel and the Empire’s movements are unusual. Everyone prepare yourselves mentally.”
The continental war that Zeke fought in his previous life took place three years from now.
Originally after Carly died from the Pirate King a year later and Arthur Draker died from illness Abel became the head of the Draker family and started a war of aggression against the continent together with the empire.
In that war many cities including Atlas were reduced to ruins and innocent civilians were brutally massacred.
As a person who lost loved ones in the midst of a brutal war Zeke has lived his life with the sole hope that something like that will never happen again.
‘Things are progressing faster than in my previous life. Perhaps it’s because my intervention has caused things to go a little wrong.’
He said looking at the knights.
“As Clone said it doesn’t matter who the opponent is. The Black Sword Knights just need to cut down and destroy the enemies that come their way. In the process there’s only one thing you must remember: not to die.”
The knights nodded with determined eyes at Zeke’s words.
Before I knew it all six of them had the look in their eyes of a knight.
The Immortal Black Sword Knights.
Zeke planned to create the strongest knight order that could swallow up not only the Imperial Army but also the most powerful military group the Drake family.
‘In this life I will live solely according to my own will without being swayed by anyone else.’
