A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 261

Episode 261
Sieg nodded at Luther’s words.
“Yes unlike other pureblood Awakened ones my ability does not activate constantly even when I take off my gloves.”
He tried using his magic around Zeke then felt something and looked at him with curiosity.
“It reflects my magic. It doesn’t just impede the flow it seems to reflect the magic itself.”
Luther stepped back and summoned his magical powers to create a small fireball.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Then he threw a fireball at Zeke.
Kwakwakwang!
The magic reflection skill reacted and deflected Luther’s fireball.
Thanks to that the fireball bounced off to the side and exploded causing one side of the wall to collapse.
Luther looked at such a sig and thought deeply.
“At this level I think I can apply more diverse technologies than I thought.”
“I feel truly fortunate to be able to learn the precious vision of a magician.”
At Zeke’s words Luther waved his hand and said.
“Haha you don’t have to say that. It was something I had agreed to with my lord in the first place.”
“Are you saying that you made a contract directly with the lord?”
“Yes in fact for some reason I cannot return to the Eastern Continent. While I was hiding in the Duchy of Dorta I came into contact with the Black Stage and formed a relationship with Draker.”
Zeke heard Luther’s words and understood what was going on.
‘After changing your status you made me a full-fledged Draker knight. In return you set a condition that I pass on the vision of the swordsman.’
The reason he never went on external missions despite being a knight of Draker was because he was a fugitive who had concealed his identity.
Then Luther Gemben drew his sword and said:
“I am delighted to be able to impart my skills to the greatest genius on the continent.”
“May I ask how the techniques of Kyung-ui are named?”
Luther hesitated at Zeke’s words then slowly opened his mouth.
“If I were to translate it into English it would probably be something like ‘Chiljeolma Gyeongdanryu Technique’.”

“What does that mean?”
“Where I was magic was known as a power granted by the Demon God by reflecting a mirror. That’s why when performing a magic release ceremony you always have a sword and a mirror. The magic mirror is a metaphor for a vessel that holds magic. In other words you can think of it as a technique that breaks the flow of magic within seven steps.”
Zig was curious about the stories from the Eastern Continent which were not easily heard.
“In the Central Continent magic is used by creating a magic ring around the heart but in the East they don’t do that?”
“I was also surprised when I heard that story when I came to the Central Continent. In our homeland to become a successor you must first open your eyes to see the flow of magical power through a ritual called Magic Unleashing. Only then can you hold the weapon containing the Demon God.”
It certainly seemed like they were using magic power in a completely different way than the Central Continent.
“Then there are no successors who train in Aura on the Eastern Continent?”
“I think it’s because you can’t create a lower dantian if you open up your magical power. These days there’s more exchange between the two continents so there are places where you can come and practice the training method but the old successor families still stick to the traditional methods.”
“Then how did you train Auror Luther?”
Luther said with a smile.
“In fact I studied the auror techniques and swordsmanship of the Central Continent at the Sultan’s command in my hometown.”
“Are you saying that you were in the royal family of the Murk Empire?”
“Yes it’s a long story but anyway while I was studying the Aura training technique I accidentally succeeded in creating a lower dantian and realized that I had the ability to use both magic and Aura.”
“You didn’t know I was an irregular before.”
“That’s right. After I succeeded in the Aura training technique I studied the swordsmanship of the Central Continent and studied how to use magic and Aura together. Then one day I got into an argument with a warrior favored by the Sultan and I ended up killing him.”
Luther continued.
“The imperial family condemned me as a corrupted person who sold my soul to the devil for using both aura and magic and sent pursuers to kill me. I ran with all my might and barely managed to hide in the Republic of Dorta.”
“You’ve had a very eventful life.”
“For now it seems like it’s a good thing. Even though it was my hometown I had no family and was destined to spend my entire life studying under the Sultan before dying.”
He picked up his sword again and spoke to Zeke.
“I came to the Central Continent and refined this technique in my own way. I hope that it will be of some help to Sir Zeke’s growth.”
Zeke learned the Seven-Story Magical Sutra in the backyard of Luther’s mansion.
Luther had actually thought that no one would fully inherit this vision.
This was because it was an extremely difficult technique to master as it involved both magic and aura as well as complex Eastern martial arts movements.
But as Luther taught Zeke he realized that he had made a big mistake.
Zig who had a disability not only saw the difficult martial arts movements once and copied them but he was even more skilled at swordsmanship than Luther.
Since I hadn’t released my magical power I couldn’t learn the exact method of magical power operation but by repeatedly using the magical power reflection skill I was able to create an effect similar to what Luther had told me and immediately applied it to my movements.
The more Luther taught the more he became fascinated by Sieg’s talent.
After two days Zig was able to learn and apply all the movements of the Seven-Story Magical Sword.
“Oh my goodness even though Jik Kyung is an irregular he can read at this speed… If I hadn’t personally taught him he would never have believed it.”
This was possible because Zeke had already reached the level of a Black Knight and had mastered several more complex visions with his outstanding physique.
As soon as Zig learned all the movements of the Seven-Shot Magic Sword the technique itself was automatically absorbed into the Infinite Sword.
‘I don’t think I’ll ever use the Eastern Empire’s martial arts moves. The core of this technique is the technique of manipulating magical power.’
Using the Seven-Shot Magic Sutra and the Magic Reflection Skill Aratasso taught him Jigg created a technique called the ‘Magic Blockade Technique’ that blocks the flow of magic.
Since he had to get used to using the technique freely Zig swung his sword and simultaneously unleashed his magical power blocking technique.
Unlike magic reflection which distorts the surrounding magic field the magic blocking technique using the Seven-Segment Magic Sutra Technique could block the flow of magic by directly attacking the source of the magic.
As a result magicians who were subjected to magic blocking were unable to control their magic and the magic they were casting could flow backwards.

‘This will be very useful when fighting wizards.’
I think I know why Luther was called the Mage Slayer in his past life.
Zig who had mastered all of the Seven-Story Magical Sword techniques was very jealous of a talented person named Luther Gemben.
Before leaving he suggested to Luther that he join the Black Sword Knights.
“Are you saying that this is the knight order created by Lord Zeke?”
“Yes I have become a senior knight this time so I plan on registering as a full-fledged knight soon. It would be a great help if Lord Luther a full-fledged knight of the Drakers could come.”
Because he was a fugitive he refrained from outside activities as much as possible.
So Luther who had been worrying hesitated awkwardly and said.
“I really appreciate your offer but I have some circumstances that I cannot accept…”
It was Luther who politely declined.
Although Zeke felt regretful he decided to take a step back for now.
Then Luther asked Zeke in a slightly trembling voice.
“Oh Sir Zigg do you see that… Sir Kakali often?”
Zeke tilted his head at the completely unexpected words.
“Since Sister Carly is close to me I see her often but why is that?”
Luther hiccupped in confusion as he answered Zeke’s question.
“Oh no! That’s because I respect Lord Kakali as a knight… I was just curious haha!”
Luther started talking nonsense when the topic of Kali came up.
Zeke noticed Luther’s reaction and immediately noticed his feelings.
‘I guess you admire Sister Carly.’
Kali Draker the Silver Knight was not only renowned throughout the Central Continent but was also the object of envy for aspiring knights.
Zeke was able to realize why Luther joined the Draker rebels in his past life.
‘So you followed Sister Helen who followed Sister Carly’s will. And when Sister Helen died you continued the progress and attacked the imperial army alone. If it was for the knight you respected then you could certainly do that.’
Zeke looked at Luther and said.
“We are also planning to conduct joint training with the Knights of Baek-eun later. How about you come and visit us then? I think Lord Kali will probably join you as well.”
At his words Luther looked breathless.
“Is that true?”
“I always keep my word.”
Luther immediately grabbed Sieg’s hand.
“Please take care of me in the future. If you need anything please let me know at any time.”
It was the most accurate common language that came out of Luther’s mouth.
After receiving special training from Zemben he headed to the castle of Agamemnon.

“What the heck is this?”
After being in hiding in the Kingdom of Cusco for a while Kay arrived in the Southern Archipelago with members of the Syndicate.
This was because under Zeke’s orders he was put in charge of the project to turn the Southern Archipelago into a brokerage trade headquarters.
But when we arrived at the camp there was no chaos like this.
The dwarves that Gelion had called were shouting and getting drunk in broad daylight having spread out the beer kegs they had brought before construction had even begun and the fish-people who had settled on the island were hanging the fish they had caught here and there to dry in the sea breeze.
At that moment someone approached Kay who was looking dumbfounded.
“Kay it’s been a while!”
Arina with her snow-white appearance smiled and waved her hand.
Kay was surprised to see Areena.
“Arina? What brings you here?”
“Jig asked me to help him develop the island. He said there were a lot of monsters here. I came first and hunted some with the kids.”
Arina spoke of hunting monsters as if they were on a picnic.
At that moment a girl came flying through the air from the forest.
“Arina! Zion oppa and I caught this!”
It seemed as if Zion had used his telekinesis to levitate Alice’s body.
She smiled brightly and flew around Arina holding the demon’s head.
Then Arina smiled and said to Alice who was floating in the air.
“You did really well. But the demons are dangerous so you should always be careful and stay close to Zion.”
“yes!”
Alice flew into the air again and entered the forest.
Kay spoke to Arina who was smiling happily while trying to hide her embarrassment.
“First of all Arina-sama. Let’s first figure out the structure of the island and come up with a plan step by step. We need to know what’s on the island first.”
At those words Arina nodded and smiled as usual.
‘This person is scarier when he smiles.’
That was when.
Kaaaaaaah!
A huge howl was heard from across the forest.
When Kay looked flustered Arina waved her hand.
“Oh my Kay just a moment.”
After reassuring Kay Arina turned around and stretched her hands toward the sky.
Woohoo!
A huge light gathered above her head and a huge magic circle appeared.
I don’t know I don’t know―
White electricity shot out from the magic circle of light floating in the air.
Then a white lightning bolt struck the place where the scream had been heard earlier.
Kwakwakwakwakwang!
Several lightning strikes struck in quick succession and soon the forest became quiet again.
Arina turned to Kei and said with a smile.
“Sometimes big ones like that come out. So what should I do first?”
Kay seemed to know why Zeke had sent Areena here.
‘Isn’t this almost the ultimate weapon?’
But then it happened.
Shushu shushuk!
pop!
A signal flare exploded in the sky.
Then Arina’s expression which had been smiling until just now completely changed.
She turned around and shouted.
“All hands! Emergency!”
As she shouted loudly and stretched out her hand a huge magic circle unfolded beneath her feet and a translucent sphere enveloped the entire camp.
The fishermen who were drying fish and the dwarves who were drinking beer all took up their weapons and straightened their postures.
Kay was taken aback by the sudden change.
‘What what?’
And then a little while later.
Doo doo doo doo!
Rick and his party and the Rose Knights carrying the children of Luverne quickly ran into the light shield that Arina had set up.
As Zion lowered himself to the floor Alice quickly ran towards Arina and shouted.
“Arina! There was something amazing in the forest!”
Arina also noticed that something was not normal when she saw the emergency signal flare.
Rick Arin Jason and Claire were also looking around with serious expressions to see if anyone was missing.
Arina turned her head and looked at Zion and Ayran.
Then Aaron opened his mouth.
“I found a dungeon in the forest.”
Kay who was behind them was startled at the word dungeon.
“There’s a dungeon on an island like this?”
Then Rick who had checked the number of people approached and said.
“That’s no ordinary dungeon.”
He took something out of his bosom and handed it to me.
Arina and Kay looked at what Rick had taken out.
Kay’s expression became serious.
“What is this…?”
What Rick brought back was none other than a human head turned to stone.
Rick nodded and said.
“I think there is a ‘Medusa’ here.”
