    Episode 253

Zeke tensed up for a moment at Yellin’s request.

It was because her clothes and eyes were unusual.

He remembered the subtle expression on the face of his landlady Jamilla.

    ‘no way?’

    That was when.

“I want to follow in the footsteps of Sir Jik and practice martial arts.”

“Huh? Are you talking about Musashi training?”

    Yellin nodded.

“Yes. As I said in the Labyrinth my dream was to be free from the shackles of the oath and go on a warrior training journey. I want to follow Sir Zeke to the Central Continent and train as a warrior.”

Zeke was troubled after hearing Yellin’s words.

‘It’s not a wedding it’s a military training. If that’s the case then there’s no reason why it wouldn’t work.’

If the owner of the cow Yellin had been by Zeke’s side it could have helped solidify his relationship with Ishtar later on.

    Zeke nodded at Yellin.

“Very well Yellin. If there is anything you need for your training as a warrior I will help you. After the banquet let’s go to the Central Continent together.”

    “That’s great!”

Yellin smiled brightly after hearing Zeke’s answer.

    “Then take a rest Yellin.”

Zick closed the door and went into the room.

And as Zeke closed the door and went in Yellin’s brightly smiling expression turned gloomy and her ears drooped.

She stumbled back to her room. Ezgi who had been waiting in the room ran to Yellin.

    “miss!”

She asked Yellin with sparkling eyes.

“Oh what happened? What did Sir Zeke say? Are you getting married?”

    Then Yellin shook his head.

“Ezugi Na Musa is going to train.”

Ezugi was startled by Yellin’s unexpected words.

“Huh? Miss what are you suddenly doing as a martial artist?”

    “…It just happened that way.”

Yelin who turned twenty-nine this year was one of the late marryers among the Ishtar clan.

It was because of what happened in the labyrinth that she changed her mind having refused to marry and vowed to live her life as a martial artist.

Yellin first felt the fear of death when he faced Hades in the Labyrinth.

When Zeke approached Yellin and took her hand a warm feeling enveloped her whole body and she was able to escape her fear.

At that moment Yellin had this thought.

    ‘Is this love?’

The relief of being freed from the fear of death cracked Yellin’s hardened heart.

Yellin who recognized Zeke’s buff as love had a very different idea about marriage than before.

‘If it’s with Sir Zeke I think I can rely on him and work hard to see the end of martial arts.’

So she changed her mind and went to Zeke to talk to him about marriage but she couldn’t open her mouth so she ended up asking him to help her train as a warrior.

    Ezugi said touching his forehead.

“Suddenly you’re training as a warrior. What are you going to say to the master?”

Yellin said taking off her stuffy traditional Ishtar attire.

“I should tell you that I need more time.”

At those words Ezgi looked at Yellin and said.

“Oh my if you had gone and talked to her any man would have been so shocked that he would have agreed to get married. And then you suddenly started talking about training as a warrior… I should have gone with you!”

“Stop talking nonsense. Sir Zigg and I do not have such an impure relationship. We are just trying to pursue a higher level of martial arts together…”

For a moment Yellin’s mind flashed back to Zeke’s face and his ears turned red.

It was because the warm air of the buff came to mind.

Ezugi who saw that sight flared his nostrils and said.

“Wow I never thought I’d see this side of you young lady. You boasted about living your whole life as a martial artist… Anyway I don’t think there’s a single elf you can trust.”

Yellin threw a pillow at Ezgi and shouted.

    “Get out. Get out! Quickly.”

    * * *

The Ishtar Banquet which lasted for four long days has come to an end.

Hades who participated with Zeke had a completely deathly expression on his face.

“Crazy… How could you eat that kind of poison for four days?”

The traditional Ishtar banquet was a four-day feast of precious soup said to be the blessing of the earth god.

In the main palace of Ishtar as well as in other parts of the city they boiled a hellishly red soup so that if you passed by it would sting your eyes and you would be unable to walk.

Surprisingly Zeek has completely adapted to the spiciness and has reached a point where he enjoys the flavor depending on the spiciness and type of soup.

It was as if Poseidon had proven that it wasn’t wrong when he said that Zeke had the vitality of a cockroach.

Zik who had become accustomed to the taste had also taken several containers of Ishtar’s specialty tea and the precious Ripper pepper spicy seasoning.

“Why are you carrying such poison?”

“Once you start eating it you’ll get addicted to it. It’s the kind of taste you think about before going to bed.”

Hades looked at Zeke with a look of contempt after hearing his words.

While we were chatting like that and waiting for the portal inside Ishtar’s main palace Yellin approached us.

    “Sir Zeke.”

Zeke who was about to greet her stopped when he noticed a dozen or so warriors following behind Yellin.

    ‘huh?’

She was followed by the Ishtar mystics who were emitting ominous auras along with Ezgi Yellin’s squire and cousin.

    “What are they Yellin?”

    Then Yellin frowned and said

“…these are the attendants who will accompany you on your training as a warrior.”

Zeke’s mouth opened wide at Yellin’s words.

At that time the owner Jamilla and the elders came in.

    “Oh great being!”

Jamilla and the elders knelt on one knee to greet Hades.

Hades waved his hand as if he was annoyed. Jamilla stood up from her seat and turned her head towards Zeke.

“Zeke Draker you must never let Hades down.”

From Zeke’s perspective there was nothing particularly rude about doing anything because they were hanging out together because of Hades’ own words.

    ‘It’s fun to tease though.’

Zeke bowed his head to Jamilla hiding his true feelings.

“I will serve Hades with all my heart.”

She nodded with a satisfied expression glanced at Yellin then spoke to Zeke again.

“I heard that guy is going on a training trip for some reason.”

“Yes. I decided to help you with your training as a warrior. I guess you’re not familiar with the geography of the Central Continent.”

At Zeke’s words Jamilla and the other elders also made subtle expressions.

He tilted his head as he watched them making strange expressions.

‘Is there something wrong with practicing as a warrior?’

Jamilla cleared her throat and spoke to Zeke.

“Yes Musa training is fine. Let’s go around here and there together as much as possible. And since I’ve selected people who are quick-witted if Hades needs anything have them run errands for you.”

Zeke said as he looked at the fearsome Ishtar warriors.

“I think it might be a bit too much to ask you to run errands…”

Jamilla ignored Zeke’s words and started the portal.

    Woohoo!

Zeke climbed onto the portal with a slightly trembling face. The rest of the group followed him onto the portal and the elders waved their hands.

    “Yelin! Cheer up!”

    “Now let’s see our grandchildren!”

Just as Yellin’s ears turned red and she was about to shout something the portal activated and they disappeared.

Jamilla shook her head looking at the empty portal.

“Oh my it’s so hard to send my daughter off to get married.”

It was Jamilla who sent Yellin on her wedding trip under the guise of a warrior’s training.

    * * *

    Woohoo!

As the portal opened Zeke and his party were able to arrive straight at Mycenae.

Hades emerged from the portal floating in the air and taking a deep breath.

“Ha! Good good. I feel like I can live without smelling that damn sand and dust.”

    Zeke said to Hades.

“Welcome to Mycenae. First let’s go to the castle.”

Zeke rode in a waiting carriage and headed to the castle of Agamemnon with Hades and Yelin Ishtar’s fearsome messengers.

Upon entering Agamemnon’s castle the first thing I heard was Felix’s wailing.

    “Eww! Instructor! Please stop!”

Today too Cloone was beating Felix under the pretext of training.

Felix who surprisingly had a good sparring edge had to take on the role of sparring partner for the rough and tough Clone.

There was a lot to be gained from the duel with Clone who was looking at the Red Knight but she was not very forgiving so I had to prepare myself to die.

The duel between Cloone and Felix was a source of amusement for the people of Agamemnon’s castle so they all came out to watch.

Felix spotted Zeke entering the castle broke away from the training ground and rushed towards him.

“Oh my! My lord! Please take me with you!”

Cloone followed right behind and grabbed Felix by the back of his neck who was hanging onto Zeke’s leg and greeted Zeke.

“Captain why did you bring so many people this time?”

    That was when.

Boris who had been collecting money to make bets with the knights on how long Felix would last dropped the bag of money he was holding when he saw the people who had come with Zeke.

    “Those guys?”

Boris who rarely gets startled turned pale.

The money-spenders who were betting nearby also noticed their identity and became wary slowly retreating behind.

    Clone tilted his head.

“Why are they like that again?”

It was then that Clone noticed Hades next to Zeke and asked in surprise.

“Huh? That kid is that… an elf?”

Cloone approached Hades out of curiosity seeing him polymorphed into an elf.

This was because all the other Ishtar members had their faces covered so only Hades’ bare face was visible.

She approached Hades and patted his head.

“Wow you’re so pretty. This is my first time seeing an elf. You’re really pretty.”

All of the Ishtar members behind them were shocked and froze when they saw Kloné stroking Hades’ head.

Hades the person in question glared at Kloné who was stroking his head and then looked up at Zeke.

-Why do I feel the power of light coming from this woman who uses her entire body like a piece of paper?

    -Sister Cloone. A priest.

-What? What on earth has happened to the world? There are priests like this…

Cloone stroked Hades’ head then took out a dried scorpion skewer from his pocket and gave it to him before leading Felix back to the training grounds.

The Ishtar warriors looked at Kloné with new eyes.

‘Touching the dragon’s head as you please.’

    ‘I guess I have about 99 lives.’

‘As expected it’s Draker’s Lair. It’s not a place to be taken lightly.’

Meanwhile Boris and Salmak’s assassins were still on guard against Ishtar’s attendants and were unable to move an inch.

Zeke left the others wary of each other and took only Hades and Yellin into the castle.

Yellin looked at the Agamemnon Castle and admired it.

“The castle is very nice. Is it Sir Zeke’s castle?”

“The House of Agamemnon is my maternal family.”

Hades also looked around the castle and said.

“This is a castle made by a dragon.”

At those words Zeke asked Hades.

“Does a dragon make a castle?”

“All dragons are selfish. They live doing only what they want.”

“I thought Hades was the only one who did that. It turns out the other dragons did it too.”

“This is trying to be just like me.”

Zeke turned his head away pretending not to know and looked at the castle with new eyes.

I thought there would be something when the Agamemnon Castle was linked to the system but I never thought it would be a place made by dragons.

‘Why did the dragon make this castle?’

It seemed most likely that they had built the fortress on the defensive base side to block the invasion of the Demon King’s army but it was also possible that they had built it just because they wanted to as Hades had said.

‘Well who knows the dragon’s mind?’

Zeke went to a restaurant and made sure they served him some proper Central Continent food first.

It was because I had been eating only spicy food the whole time I was at the Ishtar Palace so I wanted to eat regular food for the first time in a while.

Soon the food was served and Hades upon seeing it was delighted and began to eat the food without restraint.

“Eww! That’s right. This is what food should be like. It wasn’t my tongue that was weird.”

Yellin also slowly tasted the unfamiliar Central Continent food.

While they were eating like that a servant approached Zeke.

“A telegram has arrived from the Four Seasons of the Lord Jik.”

When Zeke checked the telegram he saw that it was from Arthur the owner of the house.

‘Is it about the advanced knight exam?’

Zeke opened the telegram and checked its contents.

As he had expected it was about the advanced knight exam. When he checked what the exam would be about it was written as a completely different type of exam than what he had expected.

‘Go get the approval of the head of the Waldeck family?’

House Waldeck one of the Draker’s major bloodlines.

Jacken who was in the cradle with him was from this very Waldeck family.

Zeke frowned after seeing Gaju’s test.

There was one problem with this test.

‘If it’s the Waldeck family… it’s Siemens’ largest allied family.’
