A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 251
by Hectopascal(헥토파스칼 )
Episode 251
“shit….”
Hades who had come back up to the workshop continued to grumble next to him.
I was so happy to finally be free from bondage but I ended up getting involved with Zeke because I said one wrong thing.
Until Zeke made his wish he had no choice but to remain by his side.
Zeke and Yellin looked around Hades’ workshop with a slightly more relaxed mind than before.
“Huh what is this weapon?”
Yellin’s eyes sparkled as she looked at the rare weapons in the workshop.
As a natural martial artist he was more interested in weapons than anything else.
Zeke carefully examined the black knight he had destroyed in the labyrinth earlier.
“Lord Hades is this a golem?”
At Zeke’s words Hades spoke while floating in the air and rolling around.
“Does that look like a golem to you?”
“I asked because there was nothing inside the armor. How does it work?”
Then Hades rose and said
“You seem to be interested in all sorts of topics.”
“I am curious about many things.”
Hades approached with a much improved expression as he explained feeling a little better at Zeke’s interest in his work.
“This is not just a simple golem.”
He spoke with a proud expression touching the black knight’s armor.
“What is engraved on this surface is this. This is truly incredible. It contains an incredible drive that can absorb the enemy’s physical force and convert it into magical power.”
“Absorbs physical force?”
Zeke recalled the pattern glowing when he struck the Black Knight’s armor.
‘It absorbs shock and instead releases magical power? That’s incredible.’
If the wizards had heard that they would have surely thought it was nonsense.
But it couldn’t be helped since it was created by a dragon and not a normal wizard.

After hearing Hades’ explanation Zeke thought for a moment and then asked a question.
“But why did you engrave that magic circle into your armor? If you had engraved it into your shield it would have been more durable and could absorb much more shock.”
Hades paused for a moment at his question. Then with a complicated expression on his face he opened his mouth.
“That’s not cool. The key to that effect is that it absorbs shock and then glows brightly!”
Zeke looked dumbfounded at Hades’ words.
“What good is being cool? What’s important is making it effective. Besides if you do that the drive mechanism will be completely exposed on the armor surface so if you repeatedly strike with a sword like I did the drive mechanism will be damaged and won’t function properly. It would be better to engrave magic that strengthens the armor’s defensive functions put the drive mechanism in a thick shield and then absorb the shock…”
Hades shouted at Zeke his face turning red as he evaluated his work point by point.
“You idiot who doesn’t even know art! Shut up you idiot!”
Zeke nodded looking at Hades who was completely perverted.
‘I understand why Bahamut used to be such a troublemaker. His reactions are hilarious.’
It was Zigg who teased the dragon which was called the most powerful and greatest being in the phenomenal world.
Zeke looked at it and wondered what could possibly catch Hades’ attention.
“Lord Hades could you please take a look at this for a moment?”
Zeke activated Teia’s Hersion.
Clang!
Hades who had been turning his body away in a daze turned his head slightly and glanced at Zeke.
Then he opened his eyes wide when he saw Hersion wrapped around Zeke’s body.
He immediately floated up and flew towards Zeke.
“Oh yeah. You were wearing this when you beat up our black guy earlier.”
Hades carefully examined the Herzion worn by Sieg.
Then he tilted his head.
“Huh? What is it? There’s something strange about this armor…”
He was observing Hersion closely while muttering and shouted at Zeke.
“What is this? Where did it come from?”
“This is a magical armor imbued with the power of the goddess Theia.”
Hades’ mouth opened wide at Zeke’s words.
“They all have the power of the moon goddess?”
“Yes. It hasn’t been properly certified yet so it’s not fully functional but the armor itself is made of orichalcum so it can even deflect Aura Blades.”
Hades swallowed at Zeke’s words.
“If you were to make this much orichalcum you would have needed a lot of silver.”
“Silver? Why do you need silver?”
“Huh? Why do you need silver? Of course to make Orichalcum you need pure silver.”
Zeke was surprised to hear Hades’ words and asked back.
“Do you really think Lord Hades can make Orichalcum?”
Although it is said that the Luverne Dynasty knew how to make orichalcum the method was lost.
But it seemed that Hades knew how to make it.
Hades said with a subtle expression.

“No I know that. Do you want to know? Make a wish and tell me.”
“Hmm I’m thinking about asking for my descendants to be protected for five thousand years…”
“Whoa whoa whoa! Okay okay. I’ll tell you. Anyway the rest of the human brains….”
Zeke asked Hades.
“Do you need anything else besides silver?”
“Yes. You have to heat the silver with pure fire to leave behind the purest silver essence and then process it by adding various ingredients.”
“Can you tell me how to do that?”
Hades scratched his cheek at Zeke’s words and said.
“I can tell you… but I probably won’t be able to get the ingredients?”
“You can obtain any material that exists in the phenomenal world.”
With the influence of the Draker family and Zeke’s financial power there was no material that could not be obtained.
Hades chuckled at those words.
“The most important material for making Orichalcum is none other than the ‘Philosopher’s Stone.’”
“The Philosopher’s Stone? You mean that thing the alchemists dream of?”
“Yes I know. These days there are no philosophers who can make a philosopher’s stone so it is impossible to make an orichalcum.”
Zeke remembered hearing something similar in his previous conversation with Golin.
‘Is there no other way than the Philosopher’s Stone?’
Then Hades added a word.
“Ah there is one way besides the philosopher’s stone.”
“What is it?”
“If you have a relic imbued with the power of a sage it is possible without the Philosopher’s Stone.”
At those words Zeke’s eyes widened.
‘A holy relic imbued with the power of a wise man? Could it be?’
Zeke thought of the mask of Agamemnon that he kept carefully in his inventory.
Tyr called Agamemnon’s mask ‘the mask of the great sage’.
Given the circumstances it was highly likely that the mask he had was the relic.
‘If this mask was originally owned by the Luverne Dynasty it is clear that they created the Orichalcum with the power of the holy relic.’
However as the Luverne Dynasty that established the Holy Empire collapsed and their bloodlines were scattered the mask also lost its power and although it was passed down to the Agamemnon family the secret of the orichalcum production seemed to have been buried.
‘If I find the Fairy Lake and restore the power of the Holy Relic it will be possible to create Orichalcum.’
Of course there would be a lot of trial and error before it could actually be manufactured but with Hades knowing the method and Al and Jeff being genius alchemists it seemed like they could do it somehow.
Zeke decided to ask Hades about the drive board as he had planned since he found out that Hades surprisingly knew a lot about manufacturing.
He spoke to Payne from his inventory and took out the drive plate he had brought separately.
“Hades do you know what this is?”
Hades tilted his head as he looked at the drive plate that Zeke had taken out.
“Hey where did you get this?”
“Do you know what this is?”
“I know. I designed this drivetrain.”
“yes?”
I brought it because I thought it was made by a dragon since it was the same dragon but I never thought that this drivetrain was made by Hades.
He glanced at the drivetrain and shook his head.
“Ugh this was made when I was too young so it’s compressed very inefficiently. This lowers the integration rate and reduces the horsepower efficiency.
“Can you make a better drivetrain than this?”
“That’s not that difficult.”
Zeke took Hades’ hand.
“If you make that for me I think I might be able to remember a simpler wish.”
“Why don’t humans change even after three thousand years? You damn fool.”
It was Zeke who manipulated Hades here and there using wishes as bait.
First Zeke decided to take Hades with Yellin and leave the labyrinth.
Hades was floating in the air floating various letters and calculating mathematical formulas.
“Um that’s what it is. Ha… It was made two thousand years ago so my memory is a bit hazy. Let’s see. This is….”
Yellin was making the aforementioned expression as she received the dagger and armor she liked from among the weapons in Hades’ workshop.
“Is it that good?”
Yellin nodded her eyes sparkling.
“It’s a weapon that the dragon himself made. I will treasure it as a family heirloom for the rest of my life.”
Although they were weapons with little practicality in Zeke’s eyes the fact that they were made by the dragon himself made them valuable.
Zeke nodded and prepared to leave for the last time. Soon Zeke and Yellin Hades arrived at the exit of the labyrinth.
As Yellin knocked on the door to signal the door to the giant labyrinth slowly opened.
Kookookookookung!
As the door to the labyrinth opened the elders of the Ishtar family including the head of the household Jamilla were seen standing in front of it.
Jamilla looked at Zeke and Yellin in disbelief.
“Oh what’s going on?”
Yellin approached Jamilla and said.
“My lord! The family’s long-cherished wish has finally been resolved!”
At Yellin’s words Jamilla and the elders behind her burst into cheers.
Jamilla bit her lip and held back tears.
“Finally… I can fulfill my ancestors’ long-cherished wish.”
That was when.
Hades who was calculating the formula while standing behind Zeke grumbled upon hearing Jamilla’s words.
“What the hell is Suk-Won doing. It’s annoying to ask for protection and I even made a promise with him so now you’re talking nonsense.”
The Ishtar family who had been delighted by Hades’ words suddenly became quiet.
Jamilla asked Yellin with a stern expression.
“But who is that young elf?”
Yellin’s face turned pale for a moment at Jamilla’s words and she shook her head.
“Go Lord. So that person is not an elf…”
Then the elders behind them began to murmur.
“Wait a minute. Two people in a labyrinth…?”
“No way. It hasn’t even been a week since I came in so how can such a big kid come out?”
“Time inside the labyrinth may be different from outside! Who knows maybe ten years have passed inside! Look isn’t the hair the same color as before black!”
Zeek was dumbfounded after hearing the elders’ words.
‘You have quite the imagination don’t you?’
Even Jamilla was shaken by the elders’ words and questioned Yellin.
“Yelin! Tell me the truth. Did you really make a child inside me?”
Yellin screamed trembling.
“Does that make sense! Sir Zeke and I have been in there for less than a week….”
Ddddddddddd—
Then suddenly the entire palace began to shake.
The Ishtar elders including Jamilla were shocked.
Hades who had been behind Zeke came forward floating in the air his eyes shining purple.
“Because these elf bastards want to listen to me! How dare they say anything to me!”
He emanated dragon energy from his entire body. Only then did Jamilla realize the identity of the being that had the appearance of a young elf.
thud!
Jamilla knelt down and looked at him.
“Sir are you really a great being?”
Hades said bursting into laughter.
“Hahahaha! That’s right! I am Hades the great hermit of the Black River! You insolent elves! I will chew and eat you all bone and all….”
Hades who was showing off his majesty suddenly felt someone’s gaze and turned his head. He saw Zeke’s eyes looking at him pitifully from the side.
It was a look in my eyes that seemed to ask if I wanted to do that at that age.
‘With that irreverent look in your eyes. I can’t say anything for fear of making a strange wish.’
Hades grumbled inwardly and tamed the dragon’s energy.
“…I want to but I can’t be bothered. Hey I got angry and now I’m hungry so go get me something delicious!”
At those words Jamilla jumped to her feet.
“Bring the precious food to be offered to the Great Being immediately!”
