    Episode 209

    “Legendary item?”

I’ve received system rewards many times but this is the first time I’ve seen a phrase like this.

Zeke immediately checked the information on the ring.

    -Ring Information-

Description: A powerful magic ring left by the Elder Dragon to King Solomon of Carcosa.

    Unique Power: Seal

Special feature: Can seal and control demons. (Can seal up to level 72)

Zigg was surprised when he checked the ring information.

“The ring gifted by the Elder Dragon? It’s not a unique ability but rather a power?”

A ring that can seal and control the fallen constellation the devil.

It was a rare artifact that had never been seen or heard of.

Zeke surprised at seeing Solomon’s ring asked Aratasso.

“Have you ever heard of the Arataso Solomon’s Ring? A ring that can seal away demons and use them to your advantage.”

Then Arataso answered in a displeased voice.

[I’ve never heard of it. A ring that can seal demons. How can you seal and control a being that transcends the laws of the world? That’s nonsense.]

It seemed like an artifact that even Aratasso had never heard of.

“Hmm have you ever heard of a kingdom called Carcosa?”

Arataso hesitated for a moment at Zeke’s words before opening his mouth.

    [Carcosara. I can’t quite remember.]

“Do you know or don’t know?”

When Zeke complained Arataso spoke in an irritated voice.

[Human kingdoms and cities are so numerous and change so quickly that it’s hard to remember them all! Carcosa… I’ve heard of it but I don’t know much about it.]

While Zeke was struggling with Aratasso a new message came to him.

    [Passed all hidden stages.]

[The structure of the testing room is normalized.]

[Opens a portal to the 99th floor.]

    Woohoo!

A portal appeared in front of Zeke.

    He slowly entered the portal.

The scenery of the Demon World’s castle disappeared in an instant and a completely different place appeared.

    ‘Here?’

It was a space that looked similar to the Tomb of the Dragon Slayer or Caesar’s Resting Place that I had visited before.

The only difference was that there was only a large circular space created and nothing else.

Zik tilted his head as he looked around the circular space.

    “Is this… a training ground?”

    That was when.

A strange presence was felt behind Zeke’s back.

He quickly turned around and stepped back looking straight ahead.

There stood a figure wearing a black cloak and with his face hidden by a hood.

He was quite small in stature and his arms and legs were also quite thin.

Still Zeke couldn’t let his guard down around Inyoung.

    ‘There are no gaps.’

As he reached the end of the Red Knight Zeke sensed an unusual aura from the inspector in front of him.

He drew the sword at his waist without saying a word.

    Srrrrrr!

The sword the inspector was holding was of a rather unusual shape.

It was shorter than the Arming Sword and had a narrower blade width.

‘I’ve never seen a sword of that type before.’

At that moment the inspector’s figure disappeared.

    Pachin!

In an instant he appeared behind Zeke and swung his sword at Zeke.

    Whoosh!

Zeke who had blocked the inspector’s sword stepped back and took a stance.

Zeke holding Bahamut with both hands lowered his body.

    Whoosh!

The inspector moved first digging into Zig’s flank.

    Kagan!

    ‘The sword is heavy.’

I thought it would be light because it was a thin sword but I was very mistaken.

Even Zeke was busy blocking the sword attacks pouring in from all directions.

    bang!

Zigg stepped forward to change the flow sending out waves of strong resonance.

Then the inspector did a somersault with a light movement and landed on the floor.

Every movement was as natural as flowing water.

‘Even when the swords clash it feels like they’re cutting water without any impact.’

It was said that the opponent was perfectly blocking his sword strikes.

Zeke had felt this way only twice.

    ‘Master Kaisir and Master Nigel.’

One was a legendary hero king and the other was one of the guardians who had guarded the forbidden area for hundreds of years.

Zeke realized that the inspector in front of him was a being of similar level to them.

    ‘At least a black knight.’

Zeke who was watching him seemed to know who the being in front of him was.

    ‘Sword Saint Shaton Draker.’

Zeke took the Dragon Slayer’s Rider stance towards Shaton Draker.

Then Shatton flinched at the sight of Zeke’s stance and raised his sword again.

At the same time Zeke and Shatton jumped into the middle.

    Pachin! Pavabat!

In an instant the two people’s swords clashed dozens of times.

The sword fights went on at a speed that was too fast to be seen with the naked eye.

Zeke couldn’t help but be amazed as he directly faced Shaton’s sword.

‘I see why this guy was called the Black Knight.’

Then the inspector looked at Zeke and spoke softly.

“The sword is just an extension of the hand. Don’t be too attached to the sword itself.”

Zeke felt that his words were in line with the secret of the infinite chain left behind by Sir Fab who was an Arch Paladin.

    Wheeeeeek!

Geomseong swung his sword as naturally as breathing.

Yet the sword was imbued with a sense of pressure as if it contained the immense power of Mount Tai and the tidal wave.

    Boom!

Zigg who was trying to block the sword of the Black Sword was unable to let go of the shock and was pushed back.

Every time I received the sword my whole body would tingle. Even though I wasn’t using strong wave resonance there were subtle waves in the sword.

Unlike Zigg who can use all kinds of skills and various techniques Shaton Draker is a being who literally reaches the extreme of training only with the ‘sword’.

‘I thought even Sword King Bernas was a monster… but he was incomparable to the Sword Saint.’

Shaton looked at Zeke and picked up his sword again.

Zeke clenched his teeth and lifted Bahamut as he watched Shaton provoking him.

    “Hoo!”

Zig took a deep breath and assumed the Yongsal stance again.

    Woohoo!

Just like before the surrounding air became still and time slowed down.

It seemed as if time had stopped for the world leaving only Zeke and Shatton behind.

The two people engaged in an invisible battle stretching each other’s senses and feeling each and every subtle movement.

Zeke imposed his will on Bahamut.

Before I knew it Bahamut’s howling swordsmanship had died down.

At that moment Zeke ran towards Shatton.

    Papat!

In a world where time had stopped only Shatton moved his body in response to Zig’s movements.

    Zeke’s sword grazed Shaton’s hood.

At the same time Shaton’s sword swung at Zeke from the blind spot.

    Kkieeeeing!

Zig raised his sword and blocked Shaton’s sword sending it flying.

At the same time he rotated his body and aimed for Shaton’s side deploying the True Dragon Sword.

    Dragon’s Sword Technique

    Chapter 8 Section 1

    Yongrin Begi

    Zeke’s sword dug in sharply.

But surprisingly Shatton managed to put his sword back in its scabbard.

And he concentrated his energy while putting the sword in its scabbard.

In an instant a light flashed from his scabbard and the sword was pulled out.

    True Dragon Sword

    1 type transformer

    Against the flow

The sword which was so fast it could turn the sky upside down not only broke Zig’s dragon-like sword but also struck Zig’s body.

    Kwakwakwakwang!

Zigg was hit directly by Shatton’s sword strike and was sent flying into a wall.

    “Ugh!”

Because he had no healing factor he could not recover from the shock right away so Zeke barely managed to get up while enduring the pain.

He stood unsteadily holding Bahamut in his hand.

Then Shatton Draker looked at Zeke and opened his mouth.

“You are using the True Dragon Sword Technique even though it has been transformed. Did you learn the sword technique I left behind?”

In contrast to her delicate body Shatton’s voice was quite weighty.

It was the voice I had heard when talking to Bahamut in the previously leftover footage.

After Zeke finally pulled himself together he looked at him and said.

“Greetings to Your Majesty the Swordsman. My name is Zeke Draker your distant descendant and the one who has received the title of ‘Heir of the Swordsman.’”

Shatton Draker flinched at Zeke’s words.

Then he approached Zeke and slowly took off his hood.

Zeke was startled when he saw Shatton Draker’s revealed face.

    ‘child?’

He had a young face that looked to be about fifteen years old and his gray hair was fluttering in the wind.

    Shatton said looking at Zeke.

“The True Dragon Sword was passed down to my distant descendants. It seems Bahamut kept his promise.”

    Zig nodded at Shatton’s words.

“Bahamut passed on the True Dragon Sword to his contractor Terrakan Draker. He refined the True Dragon Sword into a sword technique called the ‘Yongsal Technique’ which has been passed down to this day.”

Shaton’s eyes widened at Zeke’s words.

“Bahamut made a contract with a human?”

The expression on his face was one of complete disbelief.

Zeke nodded and continued to answer.

“Yes. I also had a child with the contractor.”

Shaton’s eyes widened at Zig’s words.

    “oh my god.”

Shatton was so surprised that he trembled.

He looked like a child who had heard a scary story he shouldn’t have heard.

He finally calmed down and opened his mouth.

“The ruler of the sunset made a contract with a human fell in love with him and even had a child with him… I can’t believe it.”

Shatton Draker went to Bahamut and personally entrusted him with the True Dragon Sword.

When Shatton reacted like this Zeke asked him.

“Is it really that shocking that Bahamut made a contract with a human?”

    Shatton said looking at Zeke.

“Bahamut hated humans to the point of loathing them. He even gathered all the dragon lords together and suggested that they no longer make contracts with humans and that the dragons that made the contract be imprisoned until the humans who made the contract died.”

“I guess you really hated humans.”

It was surprising that Bahamut who had been like that sacrificed himself for humanity and even left behind his dragon heart and fangs.

    Shatton nodded at Zeke’s words.

“Yes in fact Bahamut was captured by humans during his hatchling days and almost died. Since he was the only remaining member of the Shadow Dragon race the repercussions were even greater. Shadow Dragons are naturally rather prickly… Bahamut must have developed a deep-rooted hatred for humans after that.”

This was a story that even Zeke didn’t know.

‘You almost died at the hands of a human. That’s understandable. But this gentleman knew that and still asked for such a favor?’

Zeke who was shaking his head internally remembered what Kaisir had previously said about personally capturing and killing all the dragon slayers hunting hatchlings.

‘The humans of that time were so fearless. I wonder how they were going to handle the dragon’s wrath.’

Shatton Draker looked at Zeke and asked.

“Zeke Draker my distant descendant. How much time has passed outside?”

Zeke calculated the Chronos power he had told Caesar and told him.

“Converted to the Chronos calendar… it is the year 2124. More than two thousand years have passed since the time period that the Sword Master was in.”

When Zeke met Caesar he was fifteen years old and just recently he turned nineteen so four years have passed.

Shatton was surprised by Zeke’s words.

“Two thousand years have passed. I was prepared for this before leaving a record of my incarnation but it’s still shocking to hear it directly.”

As Zeke had expected it seemed like past beings like Hoshigar were fixed here in a spirit form.

“I also met Reyes the Fisherman Knight one of the knights of the Clock Tower earlier.”

    Shatton nodded at Zeke’s words.

“Reyes. He was a great knight and my long-time friend. I hope that his honorable sacrifice in saving his comrades on the battlefield will be remembered even two thousand years from now.”

Zeke found the word ‘battlefield’ in Shatton’s words.

“Your Majesty did you leave behind a record of your spirit after the war with the Demon King’s army?”

    Shatton nodded at Zeke’s words.

“Yes. Many people were sacrificed in that battlefield.”

“So after you handed over Kronos’ watch to Bahamut?”

    “A watch? What is that?”

Judging from Shaton’s answer it seems that Zeke left a record of his spirit form before his encounter with Bahamut.

He shook his head saying it was nothing and changed the subject.

“I heard from other records that remained here that Siemens summoned the Demons by sacrificing dark elves.”

“That’s right. After being banished from Kronos he joined hands with the Orcs and dabbled in forbidden magic to summon the demons.”

“The Siemens you mentioned are you sure they’re from a wizard family?”

Then Shatton looked at Zeke with a strange expression.

    “Family? What does that mean?”

    “Huh? What is that….”

“Siemens is a human name. A disciple of the great sage and the first of the knights of the Clock Tower to fall.”

Shatton continued speaking looking at Zig.

    “Siemens Apollyon.”
