A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 190
by Hectopascal(헥토파스칼 )
Episode 190
Boom! Boom!
When Zeke hit the wall he found it empty inside.
“Hmm what is this place? Is it a secret space or something?”
Then a message window popped up.
[This is a secure space designated by the previous administrator.]
“It’s a secure space.”
Zeke ordered the system to release the secure space.
Then the wall that had been covering him disappeared and a door appeared. He opened the door and went inside.
There was a space made of solid walls like an underground maze.
Zig looked around the space in amazement.
“Wow! What is this? It’s bigger than the space in the mansion. Is this also the magic of the great wizard?”
Modern spatial magic is only capable of compressing empty space to create subspace artifacts.
Even for the Magic Tower Master high-level space magic that compresses and inserts a certain area like this was impossible.
‘Would it be possible for the magicians from the Nirvana family to only use space magic?’
Even if that were true spatial magic on such a large scale would be impossible.
Zeke continued to exclaim in admiration as he went further into the secure space.
But strangely the further inside I went the more I felt a polluted atmosphere.
‘What is this?’
Then something appeared in front of Zeke.
Kirik!
To my surprise a skeleton wearing rusty armor and holding a sword and shield appeared.
Zeke looked at the skeleton pointing its sword at him and thought for a moment.
‘Should I kill him and make points? Or should I hand him over to Richmond?’
Kiriririk!
While Zeke was pondering a skeleton rushed in.

He didn’t even draw his sword and used the strong wave resonance to strike the target.
Kkwadduk!
The skeleton was completely torn apart by Zeke’s attack.
Shoooooo!
I could feel an evil energy emanating from the piles of bones scattered between the armor.
It seemed that the ‘death energy’ that had filled this space had naturally attached itself to the corpse and turned it into an undead.
“What kind of place is this a place with so much fraud?”
Zeke looked further into the space puzzled.
Surprisingly there were dead skeletons scattered here and there.
Zeke examined the armor and weapons the skeletons were wearing.
Surprisingly the styles of armor and equipment were all different.
In addition they found recently dead corpses nearby some of whom were dressed in the same attire as Aron.
Zeke realized their true identity.
“The knights came in fearlessly saying they would lift the curse on this place.”
It seemed as if the Guardians of Hoshigar had captured the intruders and placed them all inside this secure space.
For over a thousand years countless invaders have wandered and died within this endless labyrinth and the resulting fraud has piled up creating a natural dungeon.
“How strange. An undead dungeon that was created on its own.”
Zeke summoned Richmond to his lab.
Richmond who entered the labyrinth took a deep breath and had a relaxed expression.
“Oh this damp and gloomy air. It’s so nice. Where is this place master?”
“It’s a natural undead labyrinth.”
“Yes? How did you find such a treasure trove?”
“It was hidden inside the mansion. It seems that all the intruders were trapped here killed by the undead and then turned into undead again due to fraud.”
Richmond shuddered as he heard Zeke’s words.
He couldn’t hide his excitement because it was the perfect place for him to study.
“Haa haa. This is a wonderful laboratory with a wonderful specimen room attached to it!”
Zeke stepped aside as he watched Richmond like that.
‘That guy can be such a pervert sometimes. Like the Nirvana guys.’
Zeke muttered to himself and continued exploring the labyrinth with Richmond in the lead.
Natural undead are valuable research materials for warlocks.
Richmond was thrilled every time the skeletons popped out and he held them back with magic.
Zeke looked at Richmond like that and asked.
“What are you going to do with that?”
“There are many uses for it. You can study how it moves and once the research is done you can extract the bones and reconstruct it into a new skeleton.”
Anyway it was said that there was nothing to throw away.
Zeke nodded and looked around before summoning his dragon soldiers and having them pick up the weapons scattered throughout the labyrinth.
If there were any decent artifacts among them I was thinking of fixing them and giving them to my subordinates.

That was when.
A large room appeared inside the labyrinth.
“What is that?”
Richmond also looked clueless.
Then something started to move from all directions.
Kkaaaaaaah!
The sound itself was mind-disorienting like the dissonance skill Zeke used.
Zigg with his curse defense was unaffected by the sound and neither was Richmond the Arch Lich.
Zeke looked around to assess the situation then saw a blue-ish figure floating around the ceiling emitting a groan and asked Richmond.
“Do you know what that is?”
“It looks like a banshee. Wow there’s a banshee. This place must be really old.”
Banshee was an undead monster created from the spirit of a female wizard who died unjustly.
Richmond looked closely at the banshee and something occurred to him.
“Wait a minute if Banshee is making that kind of noise is it possible…?”
As Richmond spoke something walked out from inside the room.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
At that moment Richmond let out a gasp.
“Durahan! The beheaded knight!”
It was wearing rusty armor with bloodstains clearly visible and it held its own head in its hand while wearing a helmet.
It was the first time Zeke had seen a monster.
“Is that a durahan?”
“Yes that’s right! Wow I’m seeing a real Dullahan in my lifetime! I’m so touched Master!”
Durahan was one of the rarest undead monsters because the conditions for its creation were extremely difficult.
It is said that a noble knight becomes a Dullahan only when his soul is corrupted and he is beheaded with a grudge.
In particular since they were undead that could not be created artificially and were created naturally they were bound to be rare.
It was a different being from the Death Knight which was created by the corrupted soul of a dead knight.
Durahan glared at Zeke and Richmond with a gleam in his eyes from his severed neck.
Zeke asked Richmond.
“Is that guy something you can’t control?”
“Durahan is a knight with a deep grudge so he is invisible. If I want to control him I must first subdue him and stamp my seal on his corrupted soul.”
“Then I guess I’ll have to make him surrender first.”
If we could capture Durahan we could further strengthen the power of Richmond’s undead army.
Zeke took out Bahamut and aimed it at Dullahan.
“Come and see. Let me see your skills.”
As if he had understood Zeke’s provocation Durahan stepped forward holding a sword that was dyed red and ominous.
Zigg rushed towards Dullahan first.
Pachin!
Zig’s sword strike struck Dullahan’s sword.
Dullahan stepped back from the stronger than expected sword strike.
Then the guy who had regained his balance suddenly threw his head at Zeke.
Phew!
The head of the Dullahan wrapped in a solid helmet flew towards Zeke.
‘what?’
Zig swung his sword and struck off Dullahan’s head.
bang!
The head hit by the sword was slammed into the wall.
At that moment the headless body of the Durahan rushed towards Zigg.
At the same time a sword wrapped in blood-red energy was shot at Zig.
Kwakwakwang!
Zeke raised his Aura Blade and blocked Dullahan’s sword.
Durahan seemed flustered as he applied more force to his sword as Zigg easily blocked it.
“Try harder.”
When Zeke didn’t budge Dullahan called out to the banshees hanging from the ceiling.
Kkaaaak!
Four banshees circled around Zeke honking and howling.
However it did not work on Zeke who had curse reflection and a strong mental defense skill.
However feeling annoyed Zeke pulled out the chain from his left hand and performed a soul sealing technique on the banshees.
Ugh ugh ugh!
The chained banshees could no longer make a sound.
At that moment bloody smoke began to rise from Dullahan’s armor.
“What is this?”
Richmond who was behind conveyed his intention to Zeke.
‘Master! This is Dullahan’s unique ability ‘Dance of Dead Blood!’
‘What effect does this have?’
‘It is a poison that causes dermatitis and has effects such as hallucinations vomiting and headaches.’
‘…It seems kind of scary but it also doesn’t seem like it.’
Soon a blood mist covered Zeke but it had no effect on the invincible Zeke.
Zeke stepped forward through the rising fog of blood and swung his sword at Dullahan.
Kkwadduk!
The Dullahan that blocked Zeke’s sword was pushed back by the force and slammed into the wall.
He used his light hammer towards the Dullahan stuck in the wall.
Kwakwakwakwang!
Durahan who was hit directly by the Hammer of Light was unable to come to his senses.
Immediately Zig pulled out the chain and caught Durahan.
“Richmond. Put your seal on this guy.”
Richmond who had been watching from behind ran over and retrieved the head of the Dullahan that had been knocked out by Zeke and pinned to the wall.
Richmond lifted Durahan’s head and began to chant a spell.
Woohoo!
Richmond’s energy seeped into Dullahan’s eyes.
Ggggggggggg!
The bound Durahan’s body shook back and forth. Soon a purple light flowed out from the head of the Durahan Richmond was holding.
“Okay that’s enough Master.”
When Zeke released Dullahan Richmond handed the head he was holding over to Dullahan.
Durahan soon knelt before Richmond.
Richmond looked at Durahan with a proud face.
Seeing that Zeke snickered and said.
“Is it that good?”
“Hehe. That’s good. The precious Durahan is now in my hands. Hehe.”
Since Zeke caught the Dullahan he also released the Banshee he had been holding.
Kkieeee!
The dead banshees hid behind the durahan in fear of Zeke.
Zeke who had been distracted by them continued to search around the labyrinth with Richmond and the Dullahan.
But the labyrinth was so large that it was difficult to even look around.
While exploring the labyrinth thinking it was fascinating Zeke sensed something strange.
“huh?”
Surprisingly there were traces of living people.
Zeke pushed Richmond and the undead back and went to where the trail was.
There was movement inside the room.
Whoosh!
A gaunt knight in old armor charged toward Zeke and Richmond. He looked so skinny that you could almost pass for a skeleton.
Beneath the helmet was a patch of disheveled hair and a beard.
Richmond raised his cane and shouted.
“This skeleton guy!”
As Richmond was about to use his magic Zeke raised his hand.
“Richmond wait! That doesn’t look like a monster.”
It was clearly a place where traces of the living continued. Furthermore the undead had no beard or hair.
“Zeke said putting away his sword.
“Are you human?”
At Zeke’s words the skeleton knight was startled for a moment and stepped back.
Then he quietly took off his helmet.
A face so haggard that it was beyond description was revealed.
“This human? Oh my goodness! You also survived in this haunted mansion?”
Zeke said while looking at the article.
“I lifted the curse on the mansion. Are there any survivors?”
The knight paused for a moment in surprise at Zeke’s words then soon shed tears of emotion.
“Oh my God! Is this mansion really free of its curse? Please tell me this isn’t a dream! Please! Just slap me in the face and let me know this is real!”
“….”
Zeke slapped the knight’s cheek as he peered in.
puck!
“Cough!”
It was a knight who had his face and body turned around in one hit from Zeke.
“Oh I’m sorry. I’m not good at controlling my strength.”
“Coolook. It’s okay! I am Aslan Solmara Hao a knight of the royal guard of Thebea! I greet you my benefactor!”
Zeke was shocked to learn the knight’s identity.
“Aslan Solmar… Aren’t you the knight renowned for the Cross Sword? I thought you went missing thirty years ago…”
It was the Solmar family the family of Jeffrick.
Zeke seemed to recognize him and Aslan smiled and said.
“Oh! I am so glad that you know me. What is your benefactor’s name?”
“I am Zeke Draker.”
Aslan looked momentarily taken aback at the word Draker.
But soon he nodded and knelt down in front of Zeke speaking politely.
“I Aslan Solmar swear to repay this favor to my benefactor Lord Zeke Draker for the rest of my life!”
It was the oath of Aslan a knight of Thebes and renowned for his cross swords thirty years ago.
Zeke’s eyes lit up as he watched Aslan paying homage to him.
‘I think I might be able to use it someday.’
He took Aslan upstairs leaving the investigation of the remaining labyrinth to Richmond.
“Oh my God! It’s been thirty years since I last smelled fresh air! It’s so wonderful!”
Zeke decided to take Aslan to the Duchy of Troy first because he was worried about his health.
He left Richmond to guard the mansion and moved right away.
‘After reporting that the Ghost Mansion has been destroyed I will have to go and get the ownership of this place from the side that Baranaon came from.’
I had no intention of handing over the precious Hoshgar’s laboratory to Baranaon.
Zeke took Eiren whom he had taken prisoner and returned to the Duchy of Troy with Aslan.
Aslan seeing Zeke’s surname started to chatter loudly.
“You were already a lord with a territory! There must have been a reason you gave the cursed ghost mansion away!”
Zeke tried to ignore Aslan’s fuss and went inside.
When we arrived at the castle welcoming faces were waiting for us.
The Knights of the Rose also returned to Troy after completing their rescue mission.
