A Dragonslayer’s Peerless Regression – 177
by Hectopascal(헥토파스칼 )
Episode 177
“Death Knight? What the hell is that a hallucination too?”
Calito drew his sword in surprise.
Just like the armor the sword was also a rare artifact that was purchased at a high price.
He swung his sword straight at the Death Knight. The sword cut through the air and flew towards the Death Knight.
Kwakwakwakwang!
A huge explosion occurred around the Death Knight.
Calito smiled in conversion.
“Ha! You damn monster!”
But then Death Knight slowly walked out through the dust cloud. In an instant Kalito’s face turned ashen.
“Oh no how!”
As he was surprised a black energy rose from the sword that Death Knight had drawn.
Calito panicked and tried to swing his magic sword again.
“Sir Carlito!”
At that moment a man in a suit came running out of breath towards where Calito was sweating profusely.
At the moment when Death Knight’s sword was about to swing the body of a man in a suit flashed and appeared in the same place where Calito was.
He raised his hand and created a small portal through which the Death Knight’s sword passed.
Kkwaduk!
The sword passed through the portal and emerged from behind the Death Knight impaling himself.
Carlito’s eyes widened as he saw the suit man’s abilities.
A red light flashed in the eyes of the Death Knight who had been stabbed in the back by his own sword.
In an instant the man in the suit grabbed Calito and disappeared into a portal he had created behind his back.
The Death Knight stared at the place where the two people disappeared for a while.
After making sure there was no one around Zeke took off his cloak and returned to his original form. He looked puzzled as he thought about the disappearance of Carlito and the man in the suit.
“Teleportation. What an absurd ability that guy has.”
Even among the magicians of Nirvana only high-level magicians above the 7th Circle were able to teleport.

So it was surprising that he could use his teleportation ability without any time difference like that.
“Is that also a bloodline ability?”
It seemed like he was one of the special bloodline ability users of the family called Six.
Zeke frowned as he held the sword.
“It’s a shame we lost our commander but… it’s not a complete loss since we found out that there’s someone with teleportation abilities.”
Bloodline ability is a highly useful power but if you know the true nature of that power there is no problem in preparing for it.
Since we already knew about his teleportation ability we could prepare many ways to deal with him.
Zig turned his head and looked at the Siemens battle ships stationed on the river.
With Nahuel attacking from the riverbed and the hallucination attacks continuing from above the attacks from the Dragon Tooth Undead would be overwhelming so even if there were wizards or knights it would be difficult to withstand.
Seeing the burning ship Zeke signaled to Richmond.
Then Richmond who received the signal detonated the magic bomb that had been installed in advance on the ship disguised as a ghost ship.
Kwakwakwakwakwang!
The ship was torn apart by a huge explosion and at the same time Siemens’ battle ships also began to sink unable to hold out.
A Richmond in the form of a demon carrying a Bisco was seen flying into the sky.
Zig activated his stealth skill and disappeared into the bushes.
* * *
A week later Zeke and Bisco were able to return safely to Agamemnon Castle.
“Sir Zeke!”
The first one to greet him was none other than Arina.
“Miss Arina.”
He entered the castle with Arina who had come out to greet him.
Zeke felt that there was something strange about the atmosphere of the Rose Knights at Castle Agamemnon including Arina.
“Everyone seems to be standing there. What happened?”
“That’s actually….”
After hearing Arina’s answer he understood why the Rose Knights were in such a mood.
“Did Dario tell you the location of the monastery where the Luverne clan was imprisoned?”
Arina nodded.
“Yes. As Sir Zeke said the Dario Organization was kidnapping Luverne’s blood relatives and handing them over to the Holy Kingdom.”
While Sieg and Visco took care of Siemens’ pursuers Boris brought Darius safely to the Agamemnon Castle.
As expected of a Nostra Family executive Dario maintained a stiff attitude even though he was captured in the enemy’s stronghold.
Then it is said that Arina who had been watching stepped forward to take charge of the interrogation herself.
Boris initially doubted whether Arina could properly interrogate him because of her neat appearance.
But less than an hour after she came in Dario began shaking like an aspen leaf and spewing out everything he knew.
Among its contents was also something about the bloodline of Luverne.
Arina said to Zeke.
“Sir Zeke we plan to go to the monastery and rescue the Luverne clan.”
“Is it possible in the middle of the Holy Kingdom?”

Then Arina smiled quietly and said
“We have to make it possible.”
I could feel Arina’s determination to achieve anything no matter what the situation.
Zeke nodded to Arina’s words.
“Okay let’s do that. Oh and there’s one thing I’d like to ask you.”
“Tell me anything.”
“Please take Felix with you and give him a chance to complete his grandfather Sir Fab’s mission. I am not good enough yet but I will do my part.”
Arina answered with a smile.
“It would be a great help if Felix could join us.”
She slowly got up from her seat took Zeke’s hand and said.
“Thank you Sir Zeke. You are truly a great benefactor to Luverne.”
Zig looked embarrassed at Arina’s words. Then something suddenly occurred to him and he asked her.
“By the way what about Jason and Arin who I asked you to train?”
At those words Arina smiled brightly and said.
“I just wanted to say thank you for entrusting me with these already fun kids. The kids in Luverne who are learning magic with you also love you two very much.”
It seemed like she was adapting better than he had thought. Since we were talking about it he thought he should see her face so he got up and followed Arina.
Zeke went to the magic training room with Arina.
But then a strange sound was heard inside the training room.
“Euuuuuuu. Kids uncle’s going to give you some candy. Flip this over for me…”
It was definitely Jason’s voice.
I opened the door with a puzzled mind and went inside where an amazing sight unfolded.
‘What is this?’
Jason was inside a giant barrel filled with dirt and rocks with only his head sticking out.
The problem was that the dirt and rocks inside the barrel were slowly rising to the point where even Jason’s face was covered in dirt.
The children of Luverne gathered around Jason were looking at him with interested expressions.
Then one of Luverne’s children spotted Zeke and ran towards him.
“The God of Black Eyes!”
It was as if they recognized Zeke who had saved them. Zeke approached them smiled at the girl with sparkling eyes and patted her head.
“It’s been a while. How have you been?”
“Yes! Thanks to God I have a house and I am learning magic from a pretty princess!”
At the mention of the pretty princess Arina smiled shyly and felt embarrassed.
“Oh my Alice. What a pretty princess. And she too.”
When Zeke found out that the girl’s name was Alice he called her by that name.
“Alice. That’s a pretty name. My name is Zeke.”
“Does God have a name?”
“I am not a god so I have a name.”
“Then I’ll call you Mr. Zeke!”
Alice answered vigorously then moved her small hand and made a hand sign.
Soon a bright light burst out from Alice’s hand.
Alice spoke to Zeke with her eyes sparkling with wonder.
“It’s the magic the princess taught me! Isn’t it pretty and sparkly?”
Zeke was startled when he saw the light Alice had created.
‘Healing?’
I knew that Alice being a member of the Luverne bloodline could learn light magic but I didn’t think that Alice who was only about ten years old would be able to use magic right away.
‘What a talent.’
Then Jason who was almost buried in the dirt let out a pitiful voice.
“Ji Jik Kyung! Eeeeeee! Please get me out of here!”
Zig lifted the girl up and asked Arina.
“Lady Arina. Is that also magic training?”
Arina smiled and nodded.
“Yes. Jason has great talent. But he’s a bit weak-willed. So he uses a few big spells and then gets tired and falls.”
It was Arina who frankly evaluated Jason’s magical skills.
She said with shining eyes.
“If Jason can sense the will of the earth by directly touching it he will surely become a great wizard.”
Zeek nodded after hearing Arina’s words.
“That makes sense.”
Jason who had heard their conversation cried out urgently as he buried himself in the dirt.
“Ahhh! Sir Zig! Aahhh! Dirt is coming into my mouth!”
At some point Jason’s voice was no longer heard as if he had been completely buried.
The other Luverne children poked at the barrel with shining eyes.
That was when.
Ddddddd!
The barrel shook violently and dirt and rocks rose up and overflowed from the barrel.
After a while Jason popped out from inside.
“Phuha!”
Jason barely managed to escape the barrel just before his death.
He crawled out of the barrel in a state of deep thought.
Arina smiled as she looked at Jason like that.
“Oh my it really worked!”
Arina had an innocent expression on her face as if she had no idea that she would really succeed.
As she snapped her fingers the spurted dirt rolled back into the barrel.
Looking at Arina like that Zeke realized that she was proficient not only in light magic but also in other types of magic.
‘6 circles? No maybe 7 or more circles.’
The 7th Circle Wizard displayed power comparable to that of a Red Knight.
Zeke had a feeling that the strongest person in the force aside from himself would be Arina.
Zeke cautiously asked Arina who was wondering what kind of training to give Jason who had become lost in thought.
“Arina. But where is Arin?”
Then Arina answered with her usual bright smile.
“Ah Arin um… that’s a secret.”
‘It’s a secret. What on earth did you make Arin do?’
Although curious Zeke did not ask more questions but simply prayed that Arin was safe.
Zeke left Jason behind who was begging him to take him with him and headed towards the knight training grounds.
An unexpected sight unfolded there.
“Okay! One more!”
Rick was doing basic strength training with Farrell.
thud!
Rick who had put down the special heavy weight machine exclusively for Agamemnon had grown in size beyond recognition.
Then Farrell and Rick who had discovered Zeke stopped what they were doing and straightened their posture.
“Salute to the lord!”
It was Rick saluting to Pharrell’s slogan.
Zeke nodded and gestured for them to get into a comfortable position.
“I don’t see any other guys.”
“Sister Clone took everyone along to subdue the surrounding monsters to get a feel for the real thing.”
After hearing the explanation that followed it was said that thanks to the subjugation carried out in the name of training there were no monsters outlaws or bandits around Mycenae.
Thanks to this the Clone group went on expedition training beyond the city.
‘It was a good decision to leave it to Clone.’
Zeke nodded turned to Rick and picked up a wooden sword that had fallen on the floor.
Then he swung it straight at Rick.
Choaack!
Even though it was a sudden attack Rick rolled over and dodged Zeke’s attack. Zeke continued to swing his wooden sword at Rick without stopping.
Rick kept his balance dodging the sword not caring that his whole body was covered in dirt.
Zeke observed Rick’s movements for a while before putting away his sword.
“It’s much better than before.”
Rick bowed his head his eyes sparkling.
“Thank you my lord! I realized how much of a frog in a well I was!”
Growing up under the pressure of his outstanding older brother’s shadow Jeffrick never really focused his mind on training.
I went to Valhalla to get some stimulation but even there I couldn’t make up my mind and just wandered around.
But here I was shocked to see people of similar age training hard breaking down walls and growing stronger day by day.
That prompted Rick to take Farrell’s advice and start working his way back up again starting with the most basic strength and reflex training.
Although the training was repetitive to the point of being boring the results were clear.
Cracks began to appear in his skills which had been stagnant for a long time.
Zick could tell at a glance that Farrell’s training methods were working perfectly as he looked at his body which had been developed in a balanced way through strength training.
‘I look forward to more growth in the future.’
Jeffrick Solmar is also one of the five-star knights who performed outstandingly in his previous life.
His potential was never far behind that of others.
After looking around at his comrades’ situation Zeke headed to the basement of Agamemnon Castle for the last time.
As I opened the door to the deepest dungeon and entered a man with a haggard face and white hair was crouching in the corner.
Zeke was surprised to see Dario’s appearance was completely different from when he was interrogated.
‘The person has completely changed.’
Then suddenly Dario raised his head towards Zeke.
