“Now there are five.”
Joo Gong-hyuk who had fallen asleep soundly for the first time in a long time scratched his head in his dream.
“When did you catch the future that is M? “What’s wrong with five people after a year?”
It was an extension of a dream I had before.
Darkness where you can’t even see an inch ahead.
All I could hear was myself and an unknown voice ambiguous as to whether it was conscious or real.
“Can you feel the heartbeat?”
As he spoke another shock came from the bottom of the barbell.
It was the same as the last time I came to this space.
Once he came here and recognized it Joo Gong-hyeok was able to feel the same heartbeat when R killed him.
‘So what happened?’
What does it mean?
I hated asking Zen questions without even telling them.
I turned my attention to the place where I felt like I was hearing voices.
A vague figure was captured in the darkness where nothing was visible.
A throne that no one can touch.
A shadow was sitting there.
Old limestone stuck to his face and armor and his eyelids were covered in layers of dust like mountains.
“Who are you?”
“Who do you think it is Joo Gong-hyuk?”
It laughs.
Gonghyeok thought about sitting down out of habit.
As soon as I thought about it a bridge appeared and a floor and a chair appeared.
Looking back I realized that it was a wedding gift that I had prepared when I married Ha Yeon-si.
The healthy arm not the steel prosthetic arm holds the cigarette pipe.

“I have some idea.”
“What is it?”
“Candidate number 1. “Those who scraped by.”
Gonghyuk flicked his cigarette end.
“They can interfere with me mentally. “I don’t think this is particularly an effect of mental magic or an avatar.”
“It’s not a wrong answer at all. “I’ll give you 30 points.”
“You’re saying it’s wrong. “Then candidate number 2.”
Joo Gong-hyuk narrowed his eyes and looked at him.
“Are you a human dimension god?”
It was silent for a moment.
Joo Gong-hyeok had never seen a human dimensional god before although he had seen the gods of the Gishin tribe or the beastman tribe.
“Because it’s a dimensional god let’s set that as 30 points. “I know him well but he is not me.”
“I took a picture of him suddenly appearing and asking a question but it seems like he wasn’t there. “Then finally candidate number 3.”
It was the question I was looking forward to the most and the question I didn’t want to even imagine.
“Are you by any chance my future self?”
It touched my chin for a moment.
“Indeed the score of that answer is…”
“I picked it up.”
Joo Gong-hyeok raised his spear.
It was the U.SSS grade Shinsal Spear Longinus.
As I go through my memories I think of myself as the strongest.
The power of absolute immortality that I gained in the fifth session wells up inside me.
The sacred power of the eighth life which was powerful enough to be called the commander of the Holy Spirit illuminates the dark space.
The fifth will of life which perfectly followed Liang Xian’s progress was contained in the spear and the body of the eleventh who tore apart the Dragon God and butchered the Demon King in two hours resided in his body.
“You idiot! What were you thinking when you saved all these humans? “I decided to kill them all!”
Kill all the demons that are destroying humanity.
Kill all hunters who destroy humanity.
That was his oath to those who died in vain 13 times.
As if reacting to intense anger Joo Gong-hyeok’s body burned like a flame.
Even as it watched Joo Gong-hyeok fly like a firebird at a speed exceeding the speed of light it calmly moved its lips as if it was not affected by time at all.
“There is only one thing I want to say.”
Just before Joo Gong-hyeok’s spear touches down.
That said.
“Don’t do anything you’ll regret. Joo Gong-hyeok.”
The window and shadow collide.
The sky split and light spread.

“…”
It was morning.
I raised my upper body and looked at the window where sunlight was coming in.
Surprisingly I felt refreshed rather than angry.
I touched my eyes with my fingers.
I could feel the water marks on my dry skin and the saltiness.
“Are they tears?”
Gonghyuk looked out the window again.
The sun was shining brightly in the red sky of Babel and a cool breeze was blowing.
“Don’t do anything you’ll regret…”
Suddenly a promise crossed my mind.
“Yes I did.”
Joo Gong-hyeok held up the communication device developed by the company next to the bed.
“It’s urgent. Run to my room right now. “What’s going on?”
Joo Gong-hyeok answered seriously to the person on the other end of the phone.
“It is a matter of human survival.”
20 seconds later.
Kwajangchang!
The window broke and Hayeonsi with angel wings rolled into the room.
“Hak Hak what on earth is going on! “The survival of humanity is at stake!”
She was breathing heavily as she flew all the way from the settlement city of Company to Desertio.
She woke up early in the morning after receiving an urgent phone call and instead of putting on makeup her hair was messy and she was wearing loose pajamas.
Gonghyuk looked at her with a sad face.
“Hey when you come to your brother’s room why don’t you wear some sexy pajamas? “As an older brother I feel a little sad about the loose teddy bear pajamas.”
“No brother! Now is not the time to criticize my pajamas! “What is it about the survival of humanity?”
“Um okay. yes.”
In response to Ha Yeon-si’s urgent urging Joo Gong-hyeok bowed his head in contemplation.
And he spoke with determined eyes.
“Yeonsi let’s go on a date today.”
20 minutes later.
Hayeonsi was sweating profusely in front of the table.
“My brother said it was urgent so I came running…”
The table was full of desserts made of chocolate.
Gonghyeok answered naturally.
“What happens between a man and a woman is something that depends on the survival of humanity.”
“Oppa it was cool a few years ago. He speaks really well these days. What else is this?”
She pointed to the muffins on the table.
“What are you talking about? “It’s a chocolate muffin.”
“So why are you giving me this now?”
“Don’t you remember? You’ve been singing about wanting to eat chocolate muffins for a long time. “At the old orphanage he even talked in his sleep about wanting to eat chocolate muffins and tiramisu.”
“…Did I do that?”
Even when Joo Gong-hyeok had just returned from killing the Bronze Giant gang that attacked the orphanage Ha Yeon-si knew nothing and muttered in her sleep.
As the rationing system was implemented on Earth these desserts became a luxury item for the high class.
“Well it seems like a long time has passed but thank you for taking care of it now.”
She took a light bite of the muffin with a slightly nervous expression.
Then I pursed my mouth and took another bite.
Hayeonsi chewed the bread and took another bite.
“Wait what is this? Why is it so delicious!?”
Without even thinking about stopping my hands I put the cake in my mouth.
– This!
Nathaniel suddenly appeared and there was black bread crumbs on his mouth.
– The exquisite melting chocolate the moist bread sheet and the cream cheese that is sour without being greasy are perfect! Look at these chocolate muffins! It’s clear that every second counts from the time it comes out of the oven to the table and into your mouth!
“Which store made this? “Are you the exclusive chef?”
– I’m not a dedicated chef! If that’s the case there’s no way I wouldn’t know!
Joo Gong-hyeok opened the window and took out a cigarette pipe.
“The only person I have exclusive access to is a herbalist.”
– He must be a dedicated drug dealer. So who made it?
“Whoever made it I made it.”
Two people no one person and an angel who were excitedly finishing off the dessert on the table suddenly stopped.
“Did your brother make this? “This is ridiculous!”
“It’s a hobby I practiced a little bit in the past. “I thought you would like it.”
Smoke from the cigarette pipe dispersed outside the window.
When I had a little bit of hope cooking was something I picked up as a hobby.
From then on I took it out and did it whenever I thought of it but recently I was running out of time so it was the first time in 30 years that I did it.
Nathaniel looked at the bread again with an ambiguous look.
– It’s not like there’s anything strange on there right?
“What are you looking at me for?”
– You’re still smoking a cigarette with a pipe.
“It’s okay just eat it.”
Joo Gong-hyeok took a heavy smoke.
‘The amount is controlled so there is no harm. What is prejudice?’
It was a thought that would have shocked the two of them when they started eating again.
As time passed Joo Gong-hyeok muttered to himself as Ha Yeon-si finished eating.
“Now what should we do?”
It wasn’t something a man who asked for an impromptu date would say but Joo Gong-hyuk always worried about this.
‘Are you going to pretend like you don’t know anything and follow what Yeonsi liked?’ Or ‘Should we order in advance what Yeonsi will like?’
The former makes Yeon-si happier but it adds to his sense of self-destruction as he goes through the same situation every time and the latter makes Yeon-si wonder but he was able to save unnecessary time.
“Is it already game over when you think it’s useless?”
She said to Joo Gong-hyeok who was thinking and talking to himself.
“Brother shall we go to the swimming pool?”
“swimming pool?”
Joo Gong-hyuk looked a little surprised.
“Do you have a swimsuit?”
“…Let’s buy it now!”
