Chapter 0006 – Uncovering His False Veil (2 / 2)
by Jessie@AFNCCDecember 6
After sending Sister Tang Ei away, I really couldn’t sleep, tossing and turning for half the night or going out to the balcony to blow the wind all night, and now I’m still sleepy even though I’m tired.
I thought I had done all I could to show her how I felt, and she was as hot as a burning sun.
I admit that I can no longer live without the warmth she brings. I want to keep her, I want to hold her in my hands.
I asked her to marry me, with expectant eyes, and waited for an empty response.
“I’m married, I’m sorry I lied to you.”
She left as hurriedly as she had fled, leaving behind only five mixed thoughts swaying like a kite with broken strings.
This is nothing but her pleasure outside marriage and I am nothing but her lover. She even has a daughter in elementary school and I still expect possession.
I secretly followed Sister Tang Ei and met her husband – but a skinny guy a bit taller than me.
He’s just an ordinary self-employed man. I’m not as good as him, but he’s just close to the water.
This is by no means the person Sister Tang Ei really likes, she said she loves my…
No matter what, I will never allow her to leave without permission, even if it means making her break with her family, even if it means dying.
That’s my love.
On the red diary, the diary written by the corresponding name will appear, which is a clue left by the flashbacks to Jangha.
“Why are you here?”
“Words as full of persecution as a sickly girl in the head, I was almost fooled by you at first too, I didn’t realize that you hid such an absurd personality under your civilized exterior.”
Lin Qing tried to grab the diary, but Jiang Xia deftly dodged it.
“You, you’re bloodthirsty! How can you prove that I wrote this!”
Jiang Xia pulled out the note she had just slipped away from her pocket-the signature Lin Qing had left behind after dinner-and held it up along with the diary.
“The exact same handwriting, it should be easy to check your fingerprints if you leave it to the police.”
Are you going to threaten me? Lin Qing looked at Jiang Xia incredulously.
She shook her head.
“I just stood in front of the Yakitori store and tried it, I couldn’t even see what was happening at the intersection from where I stood, plus the downtown area is crowded and noisy, and the Yakitori store has a rule that the waitresses can’t just leave the store – there’s no way the waitresses could’ve told you about this news, you’re lying.”
“Regarding the car accident that night, you must still know some hidden information. As it happens, one of my late friends was also involved in this fiasco, so we might as well exchange what we know about each other, maybe I can tell you some information related to your Sister Tang Ei.”
“How am I supposed to trust you?”
Since Lin Qing’s name appeared on the diary, he must have had nothing to do with Cheng Yu, but apart from Cheng Yu’s self-report, Jiang Xia had nothing to hide, and she was just trying to secretly record Lin Qing’s confession and use empty gloves.
Jiang Xia hesitated for a moment, as if he had made some sort of determination, and murmured in Lin Qing’s ear.
“If what you’re telling me works, I wouldn’t mind taking the place of the Don Eyre you’ve been talking about for once tonight, anything.”
Jiang Xia’s murmur stung Lin Qing like a deep-water bomb, and he froze for a moment before finally recounting the events of that night.
Yes, I did hear a long time ago that Sister Tang Ei is a married woman, but still do not die, even after knowing that, I still feel that the fate between us is not yet over.
If she really loved her family of origin so much, why did she come to me?
It must be me, something I can offer that her husband can’t fulfill.
She must have drifted away from me because of the moral and ethical shackles.
She loves me.
The bitter water that had been held in his heart for too long couldn’t stop pouring out.
I confessed to Sister Tang Ei that I don’t care what her status is, I can give her time, wait for her to get divorced, and then come back to me…I don’t care about the group’s reputation or anything, as long as she can come back…
“Get to the point.” Jiang Xia interrupted his endless pouring.
“She was the one who cheated on me that night in the first place! A date was agreed upon and she left me behind to be with her husband and children…”
Lin Qing told Jiang Xia, that night he did get up evil intentions, no matter how to keep Tang E. After learning that she was traveling with her family, Lin Qing he asked his two brothers to drive all the way to follow Tang E. Sister’s car, if they found that she had signs of escape, directly kidnapped her.
“You don’t understand, those two brothers and I are like brothers, who would have thought that the sudden car accident also took their lives, the news of the car accident, or Ah Kang told me before he died…”
Now, it’s your turn to share the information, Tang Ei.
Jiang Xia keenly noticed the change in Lin Qing’s address, and his expression began to become mesmerized.
Lin Qing’s body pressed towards her, and she subconsciously tried to escape, but realized that the seatbelt was locked.
“You, what are you doing? Don’t come near me, I’m calling the police!”
“It doesn’t matter if you report it to the police or not, Tangie, I won’t allow you to leave again.”
In a panic, Jiang Xia fumbled around underneath the seat and actually felt a small fruit knife.
She took advantage of Lin Qing’s inattention and violently slashed her seatbelt and threw an uppercut towards his chin.
Before he could slow down, Jiang Xia flipped out of the sports car and fled lifelessly.
There are no street lights around the dark, down the highway when she stepped on the air from the edge of the road tumbled down, Jiang Xia forced to endure the pain of the foot wounds, a wave of running toward the back of the highway away from the deserted bushes.
A light rain fell from the sky again, and the rough, slippery pavement made her stumble I don’t know how many times.
After it was completely night, Jiang Xia couldn’t see anything anymore. But she wasn’t sure if Lin Qing was still following, and didn’t dare to turn on her cell phone for illumination, so she only dared to walk in the dark.
Finally, after drilling out a patch of bushes, Jiang Xia ducked into an abandoned factory, and she repeatedly confirmed that Lin Qing hadn’t followed her before she breathed a sigh of relief and burrowed behind an abandoned wall to rest.
It was already ten-thirty at night, and Jiang Xia didn’t dare to stop for a moment to dial the police.
“Hello, someone is chasing me, it’s a very urgent situation, come and help me!!!”
The police officer across the street kept comforting Jiang Xia to stay calm.
“We’ve retrieved your general location and will be sending the police to rescue you shortly, but could you name some of the more iconic buildings around? So that we can locate you more quickly.”
“Good…” said Jangha as he stood up and walked to the door to observe.
“There’s an abandoned factory here…I ran all the way from the highway through the bushes…it’s deserted and looks like it’s been abandoned for a long time…”
“Can you be more specific? Like the name of the factory or something.”
“Let’s see…” said Jiang Xia as he stepped out of the door, vaguely glimpsing a sign hanging on the doorway, somewhat unreadable in the hazy rain.
Subconsciously, she turned on her cell phone’s flashlight for illumination.
“Hwa… Hwa Tak Factory…” before Jiang Xia could finish, a dark shadow suddenly appeared from behind him and strangled her neck with a rope.
“Help…help…”
The cell phone dropped in the struggle, and all that could be heard was an anxious questioning voice on the other side.
No matter how much Jiang Xia struggled, she was never able to break free from those powerful and rough claws.
With her neck in a death grip, she couldn’t breathe and her consciousness faded.
