”’Chapter 525 – Just Give Me a Grip Once.
Around the time a major issue erupted in the Tang Clan.
If one were to pick the busiest person among them it would naturally be the Poison King.
Surprisingly there was someone else just as busy.
“What… what is going on?”
The person who couldn’t even comb her hair since the morning incident was Moyong Hee-ah the precious daughter of the Moyong Clan.
In the guest quarters assigned to her Moyong Hee-ah had to keep rubbing her forehead.
“… Is there no more information? Any more details?”
She spoke while glancing sideways with a furrowed brow.
The person kneeling halfway beside her responded.
“… It’s a sudden situation and we are still gathering more information.”
“… Ugh…!”
Moyong Hee-ah bit her delicate lips at her subordinate’s words.
‘What is happening…?’
To be in this state from the break of dawn.
In this nonsensical situation Moyong Hee-ah had to think quickly.
‘Did they suddenly behead an Elder?’
She broke into a cold sweat at the unexpected information.
The first Elder of the Tang Clan was beheaded overnight. And it was said that the Poison King himself did it.
‘What kind of situation is this?’
The first Elder of the Tang Clan was the one who managed all the medicinal herbs for the entire clan.
Wasn’t he someone who had reached a high level in his later years?
Moyong Hee-ah knew him as well.
At one point due to her own constitution she had dealings with the Tang Clan.
Among those dealings there were not only treatments but also transactions involving the herbs themselves.

The first Elder must have been the one in charge of that.
She had even met him in person.
In Moyong Hee-ah’s eyes that first Elder was.
‘A suspicious figure.’
She judged him to be somewhat shady.
Separately she had also rated him as a capable person.
Given that he managed so many medicinal herbs he must have had considerable influence in the Tang Clan.
‘But to behead him?’
To kill someone with such power so easily.
Her crown felt like it was buzzing.
Something had happened.
There was no way they wouldn’t know.
‘I need more information.’
Even though she felt a headache coming on from thinking so early in the morning.
She had to do what she had to do.
A major incident had occurred in the Tang Clan. This was a significant problem for Moyong Hee-ah.
‘How many projects have I prepared for the future?’
There were several projects she was preparing in collaboration with the Tang Clan.
There were many things she needed to expand using this.
And now at this point something happens in the Tang Clan? That was quite troublesome.
Moyong Hee-ah immediately created multiple paths in her mind.
The fastest and clearest one was to hold the Tang Clan accountable for this and resolve it without issues.
‘…’
Moyong Hee-ah recalled Tang So-yeol and erased that process from her mind.
It wasn’t that she was worried about Tang So-yeol.
While they had built a bond over time she knew that such friendship wouldn’t benefit her.
One thing.
‘He would dislike that.’
If she handled this purely calculatively she knew that the man who subtly looked after his people wouldn’t take it well.
So she had to endure it what else could she do?
Just as she was about to think of another plan.
“… Wait a moment….”
Moyong Hee-ah recalled.
The last time she went to the county Gu Yang-cheon seemed to be hiding something.
He had that look in his eyes as if he was about to cause some trouble.
And not long after the current incident erupted.
Could there be a connection?

‘… No way right?’
It wasn’t a certainty.
After all the saying “what if” could lead to disaster and that man was more than capable of it.
Druk. Moyong Hee-ah stood up.
“Miss?”
“… I’ll be back shortly. In the meantime please gather more information.”
“Understood.”
Immediately after conveying her urgent message to her subordinate Moyong Hee-ah left her quarters and hurriedly walked away.
The direction was towards the place where that man Gu Yang-cheon was.
‘It can’t be true.’
Moyong Hee-ah fervently prayed in her heart.
Why am I working so hard for someone?
He wouldn’t cause trouble would he even if he couldn’t help?
She hoped that was the case.
‘Not yet… I haven’t finished my mother’s assignment.’
She gritted her teeth.
Her mother’s assignment referred to the task given directly by Captain Mi Hyo-ran of the Baekhwa Trading Company.
One day a letter arrived from the Baekhwa Trading Company addressed to Moyong Hee-ah.
It contained discussions about business matters.
And a request to write back on how to resolve situations like this if they occurred.
Having experienced such things with the Baekhwa Trading Company she was somewhat familiar with it.
Under normal circumstances she would have thought it was a sudden and nonsensical request and would have ignored it.
Unless the sender was not Captain Mi Hyo-ran.
There was no way Mi Hyo-ran would send such a complicated and difficult situation in writing to Moyong Hee-ah.
Moyong Hee-ah could not miss the meaning contained within.
‘It’s a test.’
This was a test.
Mi Hyo-ran was testing Moyong Hee-ah.
How outstanding of a person are you?
It was a request to show that.
But what would change if she showed it?
What was the purpose of this test in the first place?
It was obvious without needing to see.
She probably wanted to see if she was worthy of being by that person’s side.
A chilling sensation she couldn’t understand made Moyong Hee-ah frown.
‘I heard he’s not her biological son….’
She was sure she had heard that Gu Yang-cheon was not Mi Hyo-ran’s biological child. Moyong Hee-ah could not understand why Mi Hyo-ran was acting this way.
Nevertheless an opportunity or rather a chance had come so she couldn’t let it pass.
In such a situation.
‘… Is this man causing trouble?’
She wasn’t certain yet but… honestly Moyong Hee-ah was convinced.
That this incident in the Tang Clan was somehow related to that man.
It was hard to deny as all her instincts were telling her so.
‘I’m already busy as it is…!’
Moyong Hee-ah gritted her teeth as she walked.
She had to directly ask what kind of situation had erupted.
That would be better than gathering information.
Thinking that she approached the quarters.
“Huh?”
Someone was seen in front of Gu Yang-cheon’s quarters.
It was someone Moyong Hee-ah knew.
“… What are you doing there?”
“…!”
As she approached to ask the woman who had been peeking flinched and trembled.
In that brief moment of trembling her bright brown hair danced.
“Oh hello….”
The woman spoke to Moyong Hee-ah showcasing her unique golden eyes.
She still looked beautiful.
Moyong Hee-ah who was aware of her own looks felt somewhat lacking when compared to this woman or Geom Mu-hee.
After making an effort to hide her busy demeanor.
Moyong Hee-ah asked the woman… Wi Seol-ah again.
“What are you doing?”
“Well….”
“Do you have business with this person?”
“Oh no…. It’s not with the Young Master.”
She didn’t specify anyone yet they understood each other.
“Hmm?”
Wi Seol-ah said she didn’t have business with Gu Yang-cheon?
That was an unexpected answer even for Moyong Hee-ah.
Given who Wi Seol-ah was it was natural to think she had come to see Gu Yang-cheon.
‘If not then who is she here for?’
As far as she knew there were three people staying in this place.
One was Jang-ryong and the other was a young man whose name she couldn’t recall.
No matter how she looked at it it didn’t seem like Wi Seol-ah would have business with anyone else.
Though she felt a strange sense of doubt.
‘If she has no business with that person then that’s a relief for me.’
It was actually good news for Moyong Hee-ah.
Since she had business with Gu Yang-cheon.
“Then I’ll go in first. I’m a bit busy.”
“Ah…!”
As Moyong Hee-ah moved to enter Wi Seol-ah was startled once more.
Why such a reaction?
As she observed Wi Seol-ah and entered the quarters where Gu Yang-cheon was staying.
‘What is this?’
Moyong Hee-ah felt something strange.
It felt like the temperature had slightly risen.
Especially since Moyong Hee-ah had an unusually low body temperature she felt it more sensitively.
For now she didn’t pay much attention to it as she was in a hurry.
What was important was to ask what kind of trouble had occurred.
Thinking that she went to the room where Gu Yang-cheon was staying.
“Gu Young Master are you there?”
-….
She asked at the door but there was no response. On her way she had asked a servant and they told her that Gu Yang-cheon was in his quarters.
Is he sleeping?
Sleeping in this situation? No matter how much that man was like that he wouldn’t sleep after causing such a ruckus.
Then could it really be that he had nothing to do with this incident?
Just as that thought crossed her mind.
Tak.
Wi Seol-ah appeared beside her.
Seeing that Moyong Hee-ah narrowed her eyes.
“You said you had no business with him.”
“… Well….”
She had clearly said with her own mouth that she had no business with Gu Yang-cheon.
What was this?
Was she trying to engage in a battle of nerves with her? Feeling an unexpected sensation just as Moyong Hee-ah was about to speak.
Druruk!
Gu Yang-cheon’s door opened. As Moyong Hee-ah was about to face Gu Yang-cheon at the sound
“… Gong… u… uh?”
Moyong Hee-ah let out a foolish sound that didn’t suit her.
The one who appeared was not Gu Yang-cheon.
He was much larger than him.
His chest and shoulders were far broader than Gu Yang-cheon.
Moyong Hee-ah found herself at a loss for words under the gaze that looked down at her.
It felt heavy.
Just being looked at gave her a sense of being crushed.
Gulp.
As she swallowed at the sight of the deep red eyes the man who emerged from Gu Yang-cheon’s room silently stared at Moyong Hee-ah.”’
