    432 (Part 2)

    “Time.”

At most just about a minute.

It was the time I could barely endure.

If the water currents penetrated my body it would mean instant death.

    “Where is it?”

Where is the place calling me?

I knew for sure that something was pulling me in.

“If you’re going to call me do it clearly.”

    Time flows.

If this continues it would truly be a dangerous situation.

Just when I thought I should get out of the lake and regroup.

Something popped out from my bosom.

    “…!”

    Shhaaa-!

When I looked in surprise the identity was none other than the demonic beast the Jeoksusa.

    “That thing…?”

So it had been in my bosom all along.

I had completely forgotten about it.

It was surprising enough that the Jeoksusa suddenly jumped out from my bosom.

That thing was swimming calmly in this toxic water.

“Is it really a demonic beast of the red grade…?”

If not it could be that the Jeoksusa was a demonic beast that harbored poison within its body.

Whatever it was right now it was the Jeoksusa and it was a priority to get out of the lake.

    Shhaaa-!

The Jeoksusa wrapped its tail around my arm and began to pull me somewhere.

Though my strength was so weak that it was merely a pretense of pulling.

    “What the…?”

It was important that it suddenly started pulling me.

I could see the Jeoksusa straining to drag me along.

It seemed to have some intention.

“I need to get out of the lake now.”

    Otherwise I might really die.

Ironically while my mind thought that way my body was already moving in the direction the Jeoksusa was pulling me.

As if I were possessed by something.

    “I think I’m screwed.”

    Feeling that I frowned.

    The distance wasn’t that far.

The bottom looked the same everywhere with no difference.

At most it was just a matter of whether there were stones or not.

The remaining time until the qi fell and the barrier collapsed was roughly twenty seconds.

It was truly a matter of life and death.

    Shhaaa-!

    The creature urgently pointed somewhere.

In that brief action ten seconds disappeared.

The place it pointed to was an ordinary floor.

I felt nothing in terms of qi.

Still I reached out toward it.

    Crack.

The qi gradually fell. Just as the barrier wrapped around my body was about to crumble.

    Thud.

The tips of my fingers touched the ground.

    Boom-!

    My gaze flipped upside down.

    Thud…!

    “Cough….”

My body had to roll somewhere as it fell.

After rolling for a while I finally managed to stop and gasped for breath.

    “Hah… Hah….”

After exhaling the breath I had been holding I surveyed my surroundings.

    “This place….”

    It wasn’t underwater.

The blackened scorched earth I had just been looking at was gone. I was on a well-ground stone floor.

Moreover even though I had just come from the water my body was completely dry as if it had never been wet.

If there had been any poison left it would have been a big problem.

    Was that a fortunate part?

    I lifted my head.

Long pillars lined up in a row.

Something embedded in the pillars was faintly glowing.

I widened my eyes at the sight.

    “Is that… the Nightlight Herb?”

I recognized it as soon as I saw it.

The glowing objects from all around were definitely the Nightlight Herbs.

    Expensive items that emit light.

It was the same Nightlight Herb I had seen when I headed toward the Bigo of the Golden Sky.

While I was expressing my astonishment at the sight of the Nightlight Herb.

    Shhaaa….

The Jeoksusa appeared and climbed onto my body.

It seemed to have made it in safely as well.

Seeing it with its head drooped as if tired I muttered.

    “…Thank you.”

    Shhaaa-?

I expressed my gratitude since I had survived thanks to it. Then I asked.

    “How did you know?”

    Shhaaa?

In response to my question it merely tilted its head as if asking what I meant.

Seeing that I clicked my tongue and surveyed the surroundings. It was an absurd situation to call it a coincidence but for now finding the items was the priority.

Looking at the situation it seemed I had successfully penetrated the formations and entered the Bigo.

I wondered how the environment had suddenly changed from underwater to this Bigo but such things no longer surprised me.

    I had experienced too much.

“It seems to be the Bigo….”

It felt a bit different from the Bigo I had visited in my previous life.

Moreover there hadn’t been any Nightlight Herbs back then.

    This meant.

“Does that mean someone else came here before me…?”

    If that was the case.

“Did they leave the White Horse Stone and just take the Nightlight Herbs?”

    I couldn’t understand but it wasn’t a problem.

The stone was not something ordinary people could use anyway.

It wasn’t strange for someone to just grab the Nightlight Herbs and leave.

    “Anything is fine.”

After all my goal was the White Horse Stone.

The Nightlight Herbs were just a bonus I could take along.

That didn’t mean I wouldn’t take them. They were incredibly expensive so I had to grab them this time.

    Nodding I turned my gaze.

For now I had to prioritize the White Horse Stone.

    “It must be somewhere here….”

    Shhaaa….

As I shifted my gaze to find the White Horse Stone.

The Jeoksusa on my shoulder suddenly bared its teeth looking somewhere with vigilance.

    “Why are you….”

When I turned my head in the direction the Jeoksusa was howling.

    “…!”

Darkness where the light of the Nightlight Herbs did not reach.

    I felt something beyond that.

    Suuuu….

Silence quietly spread through the Bigo.

There was someone else besides me.

As soon as I confirmed that I tried to raise my qi.

    Crack-!

    “…Ugh!”

The empty qi center only offered me pain in defiance.

    “Damn it.”

The pain was so intense that for a moment I almost lost consciousness.

    “Huh….”

I knelt on one knee due to the pain.

    [Who are you?]

Then a voice came from beyond the darkness.

[You’re not Shin Cheol. Who are you?]

    “…!”

I widened my eyes at the familiar name.

The tone was searching for Shin Noya.

The formations that moved through space.

Frowning as I looked at the figure beyond the darkness which felt quite familiar.

    Could it be…?

I felt like I vaguely knew the identity of that figure.

“…Excuse me but could it be…?”

As if reacting to my words a translucent figure approached from the front.

In such a situation I had experienced something similar many times.

Especially when mentioning Shin Noya it was always the same.

Moreover considering that this place was the Tang Clan.

As all the pieces fell into place I could immediately recall their identity.

“Are you Senior Dang Je-mun… huh?”

    [That’s right.]

However if there was one shocking part I hadn’t expected.

    [I am Dang Je-mun.]

    “…”

    [Who are you?]

The shocking part was that Dang Je-mun was not ‘him’ but ‘her.’
