393 (Part 3)
She knew all too well that pointing it out would only tire herself out.
“Speak.”
“Is that Pang-gom still as rude as ever? I mean if he’s grown up he should have matured but how can he still be like that?”
“…Did you meet the Pang Clan Head?”
“Oh just by chance?”
“Are you okay?”
Feeling the concern from Baek Cheon-gumju Mo Yong-bi-yeon couldn’t help but smile inwardly. After all blood is blood.
“Well then this Noona is fine…”
“No I meant is the Pang Clan Head okay?”
“…What?”
Mo Yong-bi-yeon had to make a dumbfounded expression at Baek Cheon-gumju’s words.
Baek Cheon-gumju noticed her expression but it didn’t change his response.
He knew very well what would happen if his Noona got angry.
“I didn’t fight. We just had a bit of a verbal spat.”
“That’s a relief.”
“Seriously it’s ridiculous.”
Mo Yong-bi-yeon let out a huff and pulled out a chair slamming it down as she sat.
“He was cute when he was younger. But he’s gotten weird as he aged.”
“You’re exactly the same as you were when you were young.”
“Really? Thanks for the compliment.”
“That’s an insult.”
When would he finally grow up?
Before telling the Pang Clan Head to grow up she wished he would do so himself. Even after several years he was just the same as before.
Mo Yong-bi-yeon shot a glare at Baek Cheon-gumju then took a sip of the tea that Mo Yong-hee-ah had brewed earlier to wet her throat.
“Oh and my nephew.”

“Yes Aunt.”
“He seems to be doing okay.”
“Pardon?”
Mo Yong-hee-ah was taken aback by the sudden change in topic.
Mo Yong-bi-yeon smiled and said to her “You know that boy our nephew is chasing after? So-yeom right?”
“…!”
“He’s quite interesting.”
“…Aunt did you meet the Young Master Gu?”
Mo Yong-hee-ah’s eyes widened at the mention of meeting Gu Yang-cheon.
It was completely unexpected.
“Uh… how did you meet him?”
“Hmm? Just happened to run into him?”
Seeing Mo Yong-hee-ah’s expression Mo Yong-bi-yeon couldn’t help but smile.
‘Ah this.’
That expression felt oddly familiar.
It was like looking at her past self. Her expression had been similar when she was deeply infatuated with someone.
‘What should I call this?’
And to think they even came from the same family.
If this is fate then it must be fate.
Mo Yong-bi-yeon momentarily lost herself in memories of the young man she had met earlier.
‘He looks so much like him.’
He was a child who resembled the man she had loved so deeply.
Being his son it was only natural.
Though he didn’t resemble him completely in appearance he shared many traits.
Especially the unique gaze characteristic of that family.
‘I can’t tell about his looks but it seems he has surpassed his father’s talent.’
He appeared to have surpassed the talent of his father who was called a once-in-a-lifetime genius.
‘…He must have reached the stage of Hwa-gyeong right?’
The reason she wasn’t sure was that while he looked distinctly advanced it felt somewhat subtle to call it Hwa-gyeong.
Even so the energy that Gu Yang-cheon exuded was far beyond what could be called the energy of a prodigy.
‘I thought he was just a rumor blown out of proportion but it seems the rumors couldn’t keep up with him.’
That boy made Mo Yong-bi-yeon think a lot.
Her nephew who was chasing after a boy who resembled the man she had pursued so fervently.
‘But is it better than back then?’
At least there should be fewer competitors than that man. Looking at his face he didn’t seem to be the type to be swarmed by women.
While Mo Yong-bi-yeon was lost in thought.
“…That damn guy… No are you saying you met a member of the Gu family?”

Baek Cheon-gumju interjected upon hearing Mo Yong-bi-yeon’s words. It was a topic that couldn’t be easily brushed aside.
Seeing Baek Cheon-gumju’s expression Mo Yong-bi-yeon burst into laughter.
“It seems you haven’t changed that temper of yours.”
She recalled her younger brother who used to pick fights because he didn’t like her chasing after someone he didn’t even know.
The result was…
‘He ended up in a terrible state.’
She remembered the young Baek Cheon-gumju lying on the ground without even brushing against her clothes.
The difference in their levels was extreme.
Knowing that the person who had been like that back then was now watching his own daughter act the same way would he really just stand by?
She had a feeling he wouldn’t.
Mo Yong-bi-yeon asked Baek Cheon-gumju “Clan Head.”
“Speak…”
“Don’t tell me you’re going to meet him again to scold him right?”
“…”
“Surely not. You wouldn’t do that at your age would you? I mean the Clan Head right?”
At Mo Yong-bi-yeon’s words Baek Cheon-gumju remained silent tightly closing his mouth.
Seeing that Mo Yong-bi-yeon’s expression twisted in disgust.
“You…”
“Stop with the nonsense… Just tell me why you’re here.”
Baek Cheon-gumju tried to change the subject but Mo Yong-bi-yeon already wore a look of disdain.
Whether it was the Pang Clan or her brother she couldn’t understand why the Clan Heads were all like this.
“As I said earlier I just came to see my nephew.”
“You Noona? That’s hard to believe.”
“This brat…”
She almost let out a curse as her old personality resurfaced but she held back thinking of Mo Yong-hee-ah beside her.
She couldn’t curse at a father in front of his child.
Suppressing her frustration Mo Yong-bi-yeon took a deep breath and pulled something out from her robe.
As Baek Cheon-gumju had said Mo Yong-bi-yeon wasn’t simply here for a visit.
There were various matters to attend to so it was a bit of a dual purpose.
“Here.”
“What is this?”
Baek Cheon-gumju took what Mo Yong-bi-yeon handed him. It was a letter.
Just as he was about to tear open the letter that Noona had handed him out of the blue.
– It’s a letter from the Ice Emperor.
At Mo Yong-bi-yeon’s telepathy Baek Cheon-gumju froze stiff.
The Ice Emperor she mentioned was the ruler of the Ice Palace that governed the frozen lands of the North Sea.
She was also the mother of Mo Yong-hee-ah and the other half of his father.
Baek Cheon-gumju looked at Mo Yong-bi-yeon with wide eyes.
– How did you…
– Don’t let it show and be careful. Our nephew is quick-witted just like me.
While her voice was serious Mo Yong-bi-yeon’s appearance remained cheerful.
She gulped down the remaining tea in one go and stood up.
As Mo Yong-hee-ah widened her eyes and looked at Mo Yong-bi-yeon she began to speak to her nephew.
“I’ve already stamped my face so I’ll be going out.”
“What? You’re leaving right after coming?”
“I’ll just be out for a moment. I’ll be back soon.”
Mo Yong-hee-ah made a disappointed expression. Mo Yong-bi-yeon thought it was cute and considered just sitting down.
“I have someone to meet.”
Unfortunately she didn’t change her decision.
Mo Yong-bi-yeon had to go.
The purpose of her visit was not only to deliver the letter.
Ultimately she had come to meet ‘that person’ and Mo Yong-bi-yeon was not someone who would postpone such important matters.
She immediately moved her feet. The destination was where the Gu family members had gathered.
