349 (Part 1)
Kuuhuuuuuu.
From the figure in front countless black energies are emanating.
Wiselah had to tremble in the face of that energy.
How could it be so ominous?
And what is this power that pushes back such energy?
Wiselah questioned the white energy that continuously surged from her body.
If she were to say she didn’t know what it was it would be because this power was not something she was currently using.
[What are you doing right now?]
In a way it could be similar.
But Wiselah was in the position of an observer.
From the moment that unknown figure appeared.
The control of her body had passed to another.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Flashes of light keep appearing.
Every time the blade condensed with white energy slices through the air energy brushes past leaving a deep trace.
The impact of that trace was so strong that it felt as if the dimensions were twisting.
She could feel the movements of her body.
Even if she had lost control she could still feel how her legs moved how her hands were.
She could sense the gaze she was directing.
How the qi moved and what the sword path was like.
She could see all those intricate movements.
It was different from the sword techniques her grandfather had taught her.
‘It’s similar but different….’
The framework was undoubtedly the Moonline Sword Dance.
The flow of qi was the same and the sword path that moved accordingly was certainly her grandfather’s Moonline Sword Dance but.

The sword that unfolded from her fingertips felt slightly different from that.
In a moment of wondering where she had felt this before.
‘…This is.’
She recalled.
The strange sword path she had learned from the Mount Hua Sect.
The bizarre sword she had unfolded under her teachings.
There was a resemblance to the form she had felt back then.
Then what is this energy?
It was similar yet different from the golden energy that unfolded according to the heart technique.
Looking at the flow of qi it seemed the same.
But the energy was deeper.
Much warmer.
– Focus and feel it.
A voice echoed in Wiselah’s ear.
Only then could she recall what situation she was in.
She was awed by the swirling sword.
Enchanted by the beautifully unfolding energy she momentarily forgot.
[Unnie…!]
– I didn’t want to show you like this.
Even as she spoke the sword continued to move.
The black energy swirling around still showed no signs of stopping.
At first it seemed overwhelming but seeing the desperate amount of energy left her speechless.
Yet the woman did not stop.
– Are you scared?
Flash.
As she swung the sword down light sparkled.
The pouring black energy hesitated.
In that fleeting moment the woman took another step forward.
– Do you remember what I said about realizing the essence of the Moonline Sword Dance?
She remembered. The essence of the Moonline Sword Dance is not in the moon.
The fact that she was bringing this up now.
Does it mean that this power is the essence of the Moonline Sword Dance?
– No.
The woman denied it.
– Don’t be misled by this power and lose your way; the essence must be found by yourself.
The white energy that surrounded her while she turned her body.
At a glance it seemed to take the form of wings.

With her current self it was certainly a power she could not show.
Wiselah gazed beyond her line of sight at the being exuding black energy.
It had a face identical to hers.
How could that be?
Only questions filled her mind.
An expressionless face with only the purple eyes shining.
With a single wave of her hand immense energy continued to surge out pressing down on the surroundings.
The tip of the sword sliced through the air blocking the energy once more.
But this time it couldn’t block everything and scattered around.
Had she reached her limit?
Seeing that Wiselah spoke.
[Unnie…. Please stop.]
She had said she wouldn’t take it recklessly like this.
Yet again it was out of control.
The swirling sword and the energy piled up were awe-inspiring.
But that was a different story.
– I’m sorry.
The woman offered her apology.
– You must be unhappy that I took control of your body…. But right now….
She thought it was for him.
The woman believed that this time it was unavoidable.
[That’s not it.]
Wiselah spat out as if denying it.
[If you keep going…. You said it would be the last. If it goes beyond this you will disappear.]
-…!
[That can’t happen.]
At Wiselah’s words the woman internally gasped in surprise.
It was a response she hadn’t anticipated.
-… Are you worried about me?
[Is that a problem?]
It was something she had said before.
Since there was little strength left borrowing her body like this was reaching its limit.
She had said she could only do it once more.
And that was now.
And this was what the woman had hoped for.
If she could use it for him there would be no hesitation.
If she were to disappear like this she would face unimaginable punishment due to the karma accumulated in her soul.
But the woman didn’t care.
She couldn’t return what he had given her.
She couldn’t even reveal her own existence.
But if she could save him if she could preserve the time he had ahead of him.
That would be more than enough.
In such a situation she never expected to receive concern from Wiselah.
[If this continues…. Unnie will disappear. Is that really okay?]
She wouldn’t be able to see him anymore.
Was that really okay?
At those words a slight smile escaped the woman’s lips as she swung the sword.
– You are very different from me.
It was a completely different appearance from her.
And that was rather nice.
– That’s enough.
If they had met differently.
If even a little had been different from that time.
It meant that she too might have turned out like that.
– I hope you find happiness.
I truly wish for that.
Though she couldn’t achieve it herself she hoped that you would.
Live the life I couldn’t experience.
The woman sincerely wished for that.
[Unnie…?]
– I have one request.
The woman spoke cautiously.
– Please don’t hate grandfather too much. He had his reasons. At least for you…. Don’t hate him.
[What?]
Wiselah exclaimed seemingly taken aback.
But the energy was growing stronger.
Only then did Wiselah vaguely feel it.
The energy the woman was using was not just the energy flowing from the qi center.
It was from a much deeper place.
Since it was drawn from such a deep place her current self would not reach it even if she tried.
Where was it being drawn from?
What would happen to Unnie after using this energy?
The sword gradually gained strength.
The process was so delicate and perfect.
The energy stacking up had no gaps at all.
That meant it was a perfect application.
Perhaps sensing that energy the opponent also tilted their head in confusion.
Rather than feeling a sense of crisis it was closer to an expression of curiosity.
Were they wondering what she would do?
[Unnie…! Stop…!]
The woman recalled.
What would happen to her after using this power?
She knew that she would receive a fitting punishment for the karma accumulated.
But she didn’t know what that punishment would be.
Above all.
Could she eliminate that existence with this?
‘Impossible.’
It was impossible.
The woman knew very well that it was not an existence that could be dealt with by just this much.
‘Because ‘self’ is the same as her.’
She would know better.
But.
‘Even a little damage.’
She buys time.
She could give him a longer time than now.
What was being imbued in the sword was not just energy.
Since she couldn’t touch the innate energy contained in her physical body.
She poured her existence and karma into it.
It would be right to say she embraced her soul.
A single thrust.
It was patience for that.
Boom—
“…!”
The woman had no choice but to turn her head away from the energy she had been stacking up.
The direction was where he was sitting down.
This was the same for the Heavenly Demon.
Even the Heavenly Demon who had been wearing the same expression was now looking somewhere with widened eyes.
Then suddenly.
“…Huh…ugh.”
Someone let out a groan. At that sound Wiselah immediately reacted.
The owner of the groan was surprisingly the Heavenly Demon.
