The Academy’s Undercover Professor – 51
by Jessie@AFNCC
◈ Episode 51 James Moriarty (1)
As I was walking alone in the dark hallway of the stadium a person suddenly popped his head out from around the corner as if he had been waiting.
“Perce… no Mr. Ludger.”
“Is it Sedina?”
Sedina Rochen with voluminous brown hair. She had been waiting for Ludger until now and her face brightened the moment she saw him.
After looking around for a moment to make sure there were no witnesses she finally opened her mouth as if she thought it was okay.
“Congratulations on winning your bet.”
“okay.”
“Would you mind if it were better than that? I wonder if this incident has received too much attention within the academy. “Other members are also worried.”
That was what Sedina was concerned about.
Ludger is hiding in Seorn under a false identity.
However his recent actions were drawing Seorn’s attention too much.
In this case no matter what you do attention will follow you causing considerable disruption to the great world.
Ludger shook his head at that worry.
“It’s okay. “I was prepared for this to happen.”
“I can’t believe you made up your mind…”
“Sedina. Do you know about the president of Seorn?”
When the president’s name came up Sedina immediately nodded.
“yes. Her name is Elisa Willow. He is a famous wizard who achieved the 6th rank of Rexeror level at a young age. He is also currently the president of Seorn. “He is a man who can never let down his guard.”
“okay. “She’s suspicious of me now.”
“Do you mean Mr. Ludger…?”
“The president has noticed that our people have been hiding in Seorn. “She is probably putting the other person on the list of suspects even if they are teachers.”
“that….”
“I need to get rid of that doubt now. Because of that it may be impossible for me to contact the other members but it can’t be helped.”
“I came as a teacher to reduce suspicion…”
“It was something I had to do anyway. If Seorn’s trust is built through this incident there will be plenty of business left. But for that to happen we need a little more time.”

“W: That’s true too. “I believed it!”
Sedina who had already been hit hard by Ludger completely believed Ludger’s words.
Actually it’s not a complete lie.
The reason Ludger came to Seorn and acted to stand out was because he had the intention of impressing the president.
However Sedina had no worries that Ludger might be receiving too much attention.
In fact if you secretly listen to the other members they say that even though they are the First Order they don’t do anything strange.
‘okay! After all there’s no way Mr. Ludger did that!’
She trusted Ludger. And I wanted to continue to believe in it.
It was my first time.
A person who listens to himself so well.
To doubt such a person felt like committing a sin that could not be washed away.
“Sedina. Same goes for you. Since you are now a student of Seorn do your best as a student for now.”
“Is that so?”
“okay. Among the members you are the only one who can easily contact me. Because I am the teacher and you are the student. I wouldn’t be suspicious if we met and talked. But I can’t just blindly meet a student who has nothing.”
“I guess so?”
“Show yourself as a model student. “The more you do that the more doubts you will raise.”
“okay!”
“okay. In other words this is a mission just for the two of us. To thoroughly adapt to one’s status in one’s position. “Do you understand?”
“A mission just for the two of us.”
Sedina’s eyes became hazy when Ludger wrote the word ‘we’.
Looking at that Ludger felt fortunate.
‘If you explained it this way I would understand it well.’
Even though he was working hard and absorbed in his work as an instructor in Seorn Ludger never overlooked the existence of the Black Dawn even for a moment.
First of all nominally he is an executive with the title of First Order of the Black Dawn.
The problem is that Ludger still doesn’t know what he went undercover to do as an executive.
All I learned from interpreting the ciphertext was to sneak in and win their favor.
What after that?
Is the original plan planned or is a new order issued based on future circumstances?
Ludger didn’t know that.
But I can’t ask Sedina either. How would she know what happened to the executive?
‘In the end I have to figure it out on my own.’
It was highly likely that orders were received directly from the Zero Order or that other First Orders were sharing the task.
The only way to find out right now is to find another First Order that has infiltrated somewhere in Seorn.
However in a situation where the First Order could not be found Ludger had to operate while removing as much suspicion as possible from the Black Dawn.
So I intentionally became more enthusiastic as a teacher.
‘It is true that the president doubts me and it is also true that time is needed to erase the president’s doubts. If we use this as an excuse we can at least calm the growing discontent of the secret society.’
And it was possible to use this as an excuse to further extend the given deadline.

In fact even though I only explained it this way Sedina seemed to understand right away.
‘no. ‘He only shows extreme praise for the First Order so he can’t be used as a fair example.’
But it’s okay.
If Sedina steps forward and explains things to other subordinates Ludger will be more comfortable.
In fact Sedina was already full of such thoughts.
‘As expected Teacher Ludger! ‘We were worried that something might have happened but you had an idea!’
Because of Sedina’s social status she is ostracized within the organization but recently she has been acting as if she is Ludger’s exclusive subordinate so other members have stopped messing with her.
Thanks to this Sedina came to look up to him even more thinking that this was also Ludger’s grace.
‘You’re even so worried about me that you even give me such solid advice! ‘It’s really amazing!’
Since Ludger had said so much Sedina decided to follow his orders even if it meant dying.
“Make sure you explain it well to the others.”
“yes! “Just leave it to me!”
“Oh and…”
“yes! “Do you have anything else to say?”
“…no. Done. I’ll tell you next time. And it’s nice to see you looking more confident than before.”
At Ludger’s last compliment Sedina felt a tingling electric shock flowing through her entire body.
“Please.”
“yes! “I will do it even if it means dying!”
“Don’t die.”
“yes! Even if it means dying I won’t die!”
“…okay. “It’s done.”
Ludger left leaving behind Sedina who felt more and more burdensome every time he saw her.

After returning to my private lodgings I entered my room and briefly summarized what I needed to do next.
‘First of all through this public sparring I was able to create the image that I was part of the president’s faction on a large scale. I don’t know how the president herself will take it but since she also has a position it will be difficult for her to throw me out.’
Right now the chancellor’s faction seems to have the upper hand but the noble faction led by Hugo cannot be looked down on either.
First of all no matter what anyone says the biggest force among the students is Freuden’s group of nobles.
It was the noble teachers including Hugo who joined hands with Freuden.
The president’s power seems strong right now but if they truly oppose the president’s will it will be difficult for the president to make decisions rashly.
‘And thanks to the fact that I caught the attention of the President I was given the justification that even though I am an executive of the Black Dawn Society I cannot make any hasty moves. People from other secret societies won’t try to contact me carelessly either.’
In other words I was granted immunity from having to do anything by the Black Dawn for a certain period of time.
So let’s put anything related to the Black Dawn aside for now.
‘As expected is the side that is most important?’
With this public sparring I have now completely turned into a hostile relationship with Hugo’s faction.
But I don’t really care about this part.
I’m going to quit after just 2 years anyway. Being disliked by noble teachers won’t cause any major problems.
It may be a bit unpleasant to touch but compared to all the human groups I have encountered in my life so far it is at the level of cuteness.
More than anything I saw some kind of possibility through today’s sparring.
‘Aidan. I’ve felt it before but he’s definitely a good guy. ‘He has a good sense of humor a good side and is a hard worker.’
Even though I taught him a bit rigorously the fact that he learned the maneuvers in just 3 days is just amazing.
Is it talent? Or is it an effort bordering on obsession?
Considering that it is impossible to perfectly master a maneuver just by using your head well using your body may have been innate.
Anti-magic Action when magic is split with anti-magic.
That was clearly the appearance of someone who had trained with a sword.
Considering that Aidan was likely to stand out significantly in actual combat.
‘but. Thinking of my teacher it would be worth it.’
I was able to make a good inference because I had met a wizard who was presumed to be Aidan’s teacher or in fact I was certain of.
The stance that Aidan showed just once was very similar to the swordsmanship textbook that that person mainly used.
I thought I would live alone for the rest of my life and die without even a rat or a bird knowing but then I ended up taking on a disciple.
‘If Aidan is the owner of anti-magic he will rise to a considerable position in Ceorn.’
I completed a simple calculation in my head.
They decided to use Seorn and some special students to fight against the secret society the Black Dawn.
What I need most having become a sandwich with one foot on both sides is to weaken this pressure that is weighing me down.
Among them the one that bothers me the most is the Black Dawn.
If we reduce the power of those who exist in the academy by scraping by metallurgy.
‘The probability of me surviving will be that much higher.’
Aidan Leo and Tacie. The abilities of these three musketeers are objectively worthy of high praise.
If you just look at the talent he has he’s probably one of the few among first-year students.
What if we add Rine who has a decision plan to that?
‘It won’t be bad.’
Of course this may not be enough. So it seems like there is a need to look for other guys for insurance just in case.
If we make them clash like that this side will have some breathing room.
‘This is the only way to do it. This side also needs to increase its own strength.’
My current situation is that I as an individual am on the verge of being crushed due to pressure from both organizations.
Simply weakening both groups cannot be a fundamental solution to this situation.
So then what is the way?
‘I also have to create my own organization.’
Actually I preferred to move alone.
However since I needed to stay in the empire for a long time I could no longer play solo.
We need more people.
In addition to Hans we need to call on people we have had relationships with before and create a new organization.
That organization becomes my strength and that strength is what allows me to resist the forces that oppress me.
‘They say even tigers will come if you tell them what to do.’
As I was thinking about him the crystal ball I had left in my room started sparkling.
The only thing that happened was that the personal communication bead I gave to Hans rang.
“Hans. “What’s going on?”
[I checked the entire surrounding area as my brother asked.]
Is it because of that?
“Considering your skills you should have gotten all the information you needed. “But it takes strength for you to contact me separately.”
[…That’s really fast. That’s right. From now on it’s time for ‘force’. You know it too. I’m bad at fighting.]
“I didn’t even want it in the first place.”
[Anyway now the only thing left is for me to need your help.]
“I see.”
It’s not bad timing.
I got up put on a black long coat for going out and put a gentleman’s hat on my head.
[So when are you coming? I think it should be dealt with by the weekend at the latest.]
“Go right now.”
[yes?]
He probably didn’t expect me to say that I would go right away so an embarrassed exclamation was heard from beyond the crystal ball.
“Wouldn’t it be better to deal with it quickly?”
[But… is it okay? You must be busy.]
“It will be over soon anyway.”
[How can you be sure of that?]
“Because I will make it that way.”
