The Academy’s Undercover Professor – 3

◈ Episode 3 The Great Train Attack Case (1)
The cloudy dust caused by the explosion settled.
“Okay.”
Passs.
I got up from crouching shaking off the broken debris that covered my body.
Fortunately there were no injuries to the body. Even the broken pieces couldn’t pierce the coat I was wearing.
‘It’s a good thing I wore something sturdy just in case.’
The walls of the hallway and car which had been fine until a moment ago were completely blown away.
The cold wind that was running over the snow field blew through the gap and the cold wind scratched my face like a knife.
“…I thought it was an ordinary robber.”
He exploded the bomb wrapped around his body while being subdued by being electrocuted by electric current magic.
This is definitely not the behavior of a train robber.
Even more severe than that it’s almost like a fanatic.
The mindset of wanting to die together even though you know you will die.
‘Remnants of the Prince faction who fled from the Kingdom of Utah? no. They’re busy hiding now. These are different guys.’
I ran my hand over my face out of frustration and sighed as I felt my skin shaking.
For some reason I felt like the cold wind was blowing into my face.
“It’s expensive but it’s a shame.”
Wow.
I took off the bast mask I was wearing on my face.
There was no need to keep wearing it as it was torn from the impact of the explosion and being hit by debris.
The face of a man in his 40s with wrinkles and beard could no longer function properly so I threw the bast ball outside the train.
I thought I was going to be safe but I never thought something unexpected would happen.
‘Now that I think about it where is that man?’
Ludger who had been appointed as a teacher at Seorn Academy was nowhere to be seen.
Immediately after I realized something.

When the explosion occurred the man could not react and was caught up in it.
A desolate wall half blown away and broken. Ludger shows no trace.
When I slightly peeked my head out and looked down I saw a distant cliff.
At the bottom of the cliff a blizzard was still raging and clouds of hazy snow covered the area.
‘…He must have died.’
Anyone would be shocked if a guy they thought was a robber strapped a bomb and blew himself up.
If I had known in advance I could have prepared with magic but unexpected situations always happen.
He is a pitiful person.
After all he died on the day he took office as a teacher at the famous Seorn Academy. I briefly silently prayed for Ludger to rest in peace.
‘It’s not the time for me to relax either.’
Now that I know that they are not ordinary robbers the danger level has risen several levels from before.
If they make a mistake and launch a self-destruct attack even this sturdy magic engineering train protected by magic may be derailed.
‘If you see them doing such drastic things that could be their real goal.’
Let’s run away.
After making that decision I headed to the car.
Grumble.
At that moment the door of car number 5 opened and the conductor with a very nervous face appeared.
“Huh? customer. Are you okay? “What is this now…”
When he saw the blown bulkhead and me standing alone in the hallway he looked slightly embarrassed and stuttered.
I answered calmly.
“The robbers attacked. They were armed with dangerous gunpowder. “I almost got caught up in it.”
“I see.”
“It seems like they are mainly targeting vehicle number 1 so I think it would be best for us to stay back.”
“ah. “It was already a car that was evacuating other passengers to the back.”
“That’s a good thing.”
I approached the conductor with a relieved face.
And the moment the distance narrowed to the point where I could reach it with my arms outstretched I grabbed the conductor’s collar and pinned him to the ground.
Quang!
“Whoa! “Why are you doing this!”
“Did you think acting like that in front of me would work?”
“Yes yes?”
The conductor looks up at us with a puzzled look on his face.
If it were anyone else I would have erased my doubts upon seeing his truly aggrieved expression but not me.
“I thought something was strange. I can’t believe that a magic engineering train equipped with magic stones and protected by strong defensive magic could be breached so easily. Moreover while I was running at high speed through the rugged Aret Mountains an attacker appeared as if I had been waiting for him.”
“What…”
“It is virtually impossible to do this without someone using their hands inside the train. Unless someone turns off the magic that’s supposed to work.”
“….”

At that moment the conductor’s face changed in an instant.
He moved his hand and tried to pull something out but I already knew he would do that and prepared for it.
I put a sharp knife under the guy’s chin.
“Stay still.”
“Tsk.”
“You acted quickly. It wasn’t an ordinary robber either. say. “Where do you guys come from?”
“….”
“Are you saying you’re going to keep your mouth shut? “Well that’s good too.”
I wasn’t really curious anyway. I lifted the guy up with the knife aimed at his neck.
If my prediction is correct something may have happened to car number 5 that this guy crossed over.
“in action.”
I held down the guy’s neck with the knife I held in my right hand and with my left hand I held back both arms and then kicked the guy’s foot.
Ugh.
The guy gritted his teeth and didn’t want to follow but when I twisted his bent arm a little more he started moving.
It will happen a long time ago.
“How many colleagues are there over there?”
“….”
“Are you saying you won’t tell me? Then I guess I’ll have to make you talk.”
That moment.
A sound was heard from vehicle No. 5 which the conductor had passed over.
It was a small sound that could not have been heard in car number 4 where the bulkhead had blown off and the cold wind outside the train was blowing in.
My extremely alert ears caught the sound.
Crash.
It’s metal touching metal something I’m familiar with because I’ve heard it a lot.
…It was the sound of a rack being pulled.
After realizing that I threw the conductor forward and fell flat on his seat.
Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta!
Immediately after countless bullets passed through the door above my head.
───!
The conductor I pushed collapsed into a hive before he could evacuate.
Flying debris and powder. I covered my head with my hands and glared through the door.
The bullets showed no sign of stopping easily.
‘Is it a submachine gun? ‘You’ve prepared very well.’
In that case we have no choice but to do something about this too.
While they were thinking that they probably thought enough was enough and stopped shooting.
‘Even though his colleague fell over he shot him mercilessly. They even prevented it from sending any signal.’
That means the conductor who has already become a rag has already said it in advance.
If by any chance you don’t hear anything for a while after he goes over you’ve already suffered so shoot him mercilessly.
‘They must be crazy including the suicide bombing.’
Why did this happen when I got on this train…
I got up and sighed at this miserable life.
After shaking off the powder and dust from my body I glared through the door.
Immediately after the door was smashed and three strong men came rushing into the hallway.
“what. “There are people still alive right?”
“You poured it like that and you didn’t die?”
“Why are you talking about killing people without permission?”
I let out an annoyed voice as I watched the guys talking among themselves.
They exchanged glances with each other and then began to approach me with bloody force.
The hallway was so narrow that only one person could fit in so if you had to deal with them you had to deal with them one at a time.
If you just look at that thing over there it looks like it’s a lot heavier than me.
To put it bluntly I don’t want to fight. It’s not a good idea to lose power in unnecessary places.
‘Even if I surrender now they won’t accept it.’
If I see these guys approaching with the determination to kill us no matter what I try to placate them it won’t work.
They have no intention of keeping me alive.
“…I want to ask you one thing.”
The guy twitched his eyebrows in displeasure at my blunt tone but I couldn’t help it. Because this is like my nature.
“what. “Are you going to come and cry out for help now?”
That can’t be possible.
“What kind of guts did you have to attack this train? Isn’t life a waste? “The rescue team will be here soon?”
“under! “Was it a threat that didn’t work out when you said something?”
Hearing my warning the leader snorted and pulled out a sword appropriate for his size.
It’s a serious question but it’s not worth answering.
“I’ll cut it with a single knife.”
A large figure slowly approached me and I slowly backed away.
However the cabin of the half-destroyed train was limited so naturally I had no choice but to stop.
If you try to retreat further than this you will fall outside the broken train.
“Hehe. “There is no longer any place to retreat.”
“I see.”
If you jump off the train here you will be following Ludger.
However there was a large figure blocking the front so you had to go through it to go forward.
“I’m busy so I’ll finish it as quickly as possible!”
The moment the guy spit out those words and was about to run towards me.
I activated the magic I had prepared in advance.
Quang!
With the sound of air exploding the body of the guy who was about to rush at me and strike me with his sword bounced back like a cannonball.
Craddangtang!
Those who were standing at a distance behind couldn’t react and were thrown off together rolling around on the floor.
“Ugh. “What…”
“wizard?!”
The magic power was a little strong but they didn’t seem to be in much pain probably because they were quite strong.
no. To be exact he was wearing something underneath his clothes. Is it like a protective suit?
If so just go stronger.
I released the magic I had gathered and carved a spell. The three-dimensional figure drawn in the air soon turned into magic and instantly became a large wind sending the guys who were standing up into the air.
It will be embarrassing. It will feel like a giant invisible hand is holding you.
“Uh huh?”
“Let go of this! Put it down!”
“I’ll drop you off however you want.”
I moved them directly using the wind.
Outside of the gaping train.
“Save me! “Please!”
They shouted desperately but I didn’t say anything. These are the guys who attacked the train with the intention of killing everyone. Even if I showed mercy it would result in a surprise attack.
As they were thrown outside the train their screams echoed and slowly moved away.
“Tsk.”
After cleaning up the attacker I straightened my slightly disheveled hair and took out a string from my pocket.
Since I don’t pay much attention to grooming my hair gets quite long and becomes quite a hassle if I don’t take care of it in time.
I tied my flowing back hair into one piece at the nape of my neck.
“It’s better now.”
Just as I was thinking about running away the door of car number 3 opened and new guys appeared.
If you deal with one the other continues to appear.
It seems like there is no end.
This is why I wanted to leave quickly.
“What is this…?”
The guys who came over from car 3 saw the half-wrecked interior of car 4 and me standing alone and unharmed and their faces turned cold.
“Kill!”
The guy who seemed to be the leader raised his neck and gave orders.
At the same time the guys waiting pointed their rifles at me.
Looking at that scene I desperately suppressed the urge to sigh.
okay. What can I do? If you’ve come this far you should see the end.
“Shoot!”
The captain gives the order and his subordinates pull the trigger.
But the bullet didn’t go out.
Slam! Slam!
“Uh huh?”
“What are they doing!”
“Second gun is broken!”
“what?”
While everyone was talking like that I prepared the next spell.
If we gather together like that it’s easier to handle it from here.
But there was one fact that was overlooked.
There was a wizard among them.
Paaaat!
The magic I cast is canceled out in the air.
The wizard pointing his wand in this direction glared at me with a wary gaze.
“I never thought there was a wizard among the train passengers.”
“….”
“No matter what happens since it’s like this I guess I’ll have to kill you too.”
What happened to this? I’ve been trying to kill you from the beginning.
These guys seem like terrorists so no matter what I say here it won’t work.
I took out my pocket watch from my pocket and checked the time.
Not even 10 minutes have passed since the terrorist attack took place.
‘Time…isn’t it still a little short?’
The scenery passing by outside is still cold and harsh.
I thought it was really beautiful when I looked through the window but it feels scary just because the wall between them has disappeared.
There was still time before the train left the Aret Mountains.
It will be difficult for reinforcements to come right away.
‘I can’t help it.’
Considering the location and the past time the remaining time given to me was at least 5 minutes.
‘I have no choice but to hold on and see.’
