◈ Episode 28 Werewolf (3)
“yes?! Now wait a minute! “In situations like this aren’t you usually supposed to ask if you’re okay?!”
Erendir thought he had heard something wrong.
The teacher who saved them from a werewolf would give them a penalty point for doing this as soon as he saw them.
Breaking the mood is breaking the mood but from Erendir’s perspective it was quite unfair.
“Erendir. “What are you shouting about for doing well?”
“I got permission from another teacher…!”
“It’s noisy. Even if you get permission it must be done in a way that is not dangerous. “Don’t you know what just happened to you?”
“That is.”
“I can’t even keep my body healthy but my mouth is still alive.”
“Ugh.”
Ludger was merciless even if the opponent was the princess.
Erendir couldn’t really refute Ludger’s words.
The reason she was able to move around like this at night was because of her status as a princess.
It was easy to make excited students bow their heads and send them back to the dormitory just by her position as the princess.
As a princess Erendir herself had a responsibility to prevent students from being in danger and she devoted herself to this role.
In the end it is only when you yourself are in danger that you turn the truth.
After realizing this Erendir bit his lip and clenched his fist.
There was nothing wrong with what Ludger said.
“Then at least make up for this child’s penalty points.”
“what?”
Ludger’s gaze turned to Linne.
Ludger noticed her shrugging her shoulders and soon his eyes turned to the textbooks Liné was holding in her arms.
“Rine.”
“yes yes. “Mr. Ludger.”
“What are you doing that you haven’t gone back to the dormitory yet?”

“That…”
“I admit that you are passionate about studying but don’t you realize that doing something like that in a situation like this would be a nuisance to others?”
“…sorry.”
Ludger shook his head.
No matter what I said here and now it would only waste my emotions and not be a fundamental solution.
“Erendir.”
“yes.”
“Take responsibility for Rine and send her back to the dormitory. If you do that there will be no penalty points that were just given.”
“yes? Is it true?”
“Do I need to say that again?”
“…no. All right.”
Even though Erendir answered that he would he couldn’t shake the feeling of doubt that suddenly came to his mind.
‘for a moment. Why is there such a big difference between what you say to me and what you say to my junior here?’
While he is bitterly telling himself that he will come to his senses he is actually asking Rine with concern.
While I was contemplating whether I should pursue this or not the werewolf that had been engulfed in flames jumped up.
“Teacher Seo! excuse me!”
“I know.”
Ludger stood as if protecting Ryne and Erendir and stared at the werewolf.
Although most of the wounds caused by magic had healed he was still unable to come to his senses from the lingering pain.
The werewolf who was staring at us with endless hostility in his eyes suddenly moved.
To run away not to run.
“oh! Run away!”
At the same time as Line shouted that Ludger chased after the werewolf.
I had no intention of losing sight of the werewolf I had finally found.
Linne and Erendir didn’t notice it yet but that werewolf’s neck was also fastened with a restraint.
It was fortunate that the restraints were obscured by fur and were not clearly visible.
However if someone else discovers it later it becomes difficult to even destroy the evidence.
Ludger packed his legs with magical power and kicked away.
As I chased the werewolf through the dark grass and across the garden I saw the werewolf climbing up the outer wall of a nearby research building toward the rooftop.
The sharp nails easily dug into the exterior wall of the building and the huge body eventually reached the rooftop filled with spires.
‘I don’t miss it.’
Ludger immediately used the wire launcher to soar vertically into the air and landed on the rooftop.
Erendir and Ryne who were still watching the scene from afar opened their mouths in admiration.
“Was that a floating spell just now?”
“maybe?”
Floating magic that can be realized by releasing magic power.
I couldn’t believe Ludger’s magical power that could be used naturally while running.

The two people who couldn’t see the wire launcher because it was dark at night saw Ludger’s movements as all part of magic.
Two silhouettes on the rooftop faced each other.
It wasn’t clear because it was far away but it wasn’t difficult to tell who was Ludger based on its size and general appearance.
“ah. “Full moon.”
The clouds in the sky cleared and soon the cold and warm silver light poured down like the hem of a curtain.
Today was the night of the full moon.
Ludger who was balancing on the rooftop of a building full of steeples moved first.
Not to be outdone the werewolf also rushed at Ludger.
The two new models crossed each other and a close battle took place.
“and.”
“oh my god.”
Linne and Erendir watched Ludger’s fight forgetting that they had to leave.
There was something about Ludger that was difficult to take your eyes off.
Under the moonlight Ludger moves as if dancing and avoids the werewolf’s attack.
Attacks that make your skin tremble even though you are far away.
Nothing can pass Ludger’s body.
And a dazzling magic that sneaks in and fires through the gap between the werewolf’s attack.
Fire ice wind. Attribute elements are shot like arrows.
Although its power was about level 2 it struck precisely by targeting the werewolf’s vital parts.
‘You said you were in the military before coming here.’
Erendir thought about Ludger Chelisi.
I wasn’t particularly interested but the maid in charge of her brought me materials to read just in case so I just watched it to kill time.
From what she remembered back then Ludger Chelisi had served in the military and had a criminal record while hunting cryptids.
The text written in that history.
It was actually unfolding before my eyes.
It was Erendir’s first time seeing a wizard fight.
No can that be seen as a wizard’s fight?
It was more restrained neat and cool-headed.
He is more like a soldier than a wizard or rather a hunter who thoroughly targets his target.
Wow!
The werewolf let out a harsh sound and rolled around on the rooftop then slid down the slope.
Ludger didn’t miss it.
A predator that never misses the opening created by wounded prey.
The sight of him using magic against a werewolf actually made him feel more like a wolf.
Self-made!
The ice fangs fired by Ludger pierced the werewolf’s chest.
Three fist-sized ice spears pierced the werewolf’s body in succession pinning him to the rooftop.
Even if a werewolf had excellent regenerative abilities it was a wound that would inevitably lead to instant death.
The fight was over.
‘Whew. ‘It’s exhausting.’
Ludger realized that he had expended a lot of magical power to deal with this guy.
‘It’s not a good idea to use a lot of magical energy.’
It was a good thing that I brought back the medicine when I met Hans. If I hadn’t done that I would have been in big trouble.
Originally I wouldn’t have used magic when dealing with that werewolf.
There are many more sure ways than wasting magical power.
Consuming magical power also played a role in deteriorating physical condition.
If there was a problem it was Seorn.
There were some eyes watching him.
‘It’s impossible for a magic teacher not to use magic in front of students.’
First of all he is Seorn’s teacher in name but if he uses tools or methods from his days as a hunter rather than magic he will be suspected.
‘I need to finish it quickly before it gets even more annoying.’
Besides this guy there is still one more hiding in Seorn.
I was planning to finish dealing with the werewolves within today.
Wow!
As Ludger slowly approached the staggering werewolf suddenly raised his arms.
There’s still a distance so even if you swing your arm there’s no way you can reach it. What are you planning to do?
Ludger’s doubts disappeared the moment he saw the fragments of the building thrown by the werewolf.
‘what.’
I was glad I was on guard just in case.
Ludger immediately released his magic power and created a barrier around his body.
The fragments that flew in quickly hit and bounced off but the problem was that it gave the werewolf time to make his next move.
The guy immediately raised both his hands and hit the roof floor hard.
Quad deuk!
Due to the werewolf’s strong strength a corner of the rooftop collapsed and the man’s body fell to the bottom.
The debris spread and a cloud of dust rose up around it.
Ludger narrowed his eyes at the sight.
‘Werewolves used tools?’
Even if they are artificial creatures that are not cryptids since they are based on wolves they naturally have the highest instincts as animals.
Even if you use your brain all you have to do is tell whether or not the other person can really touch you.
But from the previous guy to the guy in front of you now.
There was something about calling him a werewolf that didn’t seem right.
It’s one thing to run away the moment you feel in danger but in particular Ludger never expected that he would throw the remains of a broken building.
‘Did I miss it?’
Ludger entered the building through the hole and clicked his tongue when he realized that the werewolf itself had disappeared.
However it was not completely missed.
Because there was a scent lingering in the air that subtly irritated his nose.
‘It’s a good thing I left some tracking incense on during the fight just in case.’
Ludger followed the tracking scent left behind by the werewolf.
I still have no change in my thoughts about finishing all of this today.
Because he wanted to live.
* * *
“Tacy! Tacie! “Where are you!”
“Aidan. No matter how much I look around I can’t see it. Wouldn’t it be better to just give up?”
Aidan and Leo were searching in places out of sight to find Tacie.
The last time they heard that Teyce had gone to the eastern forest the two continued to look for her even after the sun had set.
But no trace of Tayce could be found.
Leo who was slowly starting to get annoyed spoke first.
“Tacy probably thought it wouldn’t work so he left on his own. “Isn’t that what happens if you can’t find it anywhere?”
“But you never know. “No matter how wildly Taycy bet it was also our fault for not rejecting it properly.”
Leo looked sullen at Aidan’s correct opinion.
Clearly it was him who was annoyed that Taycy kept clinging to him so he told her a lie to get her kicked out.
A little bit of guilt.
That’s why I was wandering around like this to look for Teish.
“But if the teachers catch us it’s dangerous for us too. “Others might say it’s just a penalty point but for someone who has to worry about rankings that penalty point is big.”
“But I can’t leave it alone.”
“Do you really believe Tacie is still looking for the werewolf?”
“Normally I wouldn’t but it’s Teishi.”
In fact Aidan didn’t know why he was so sure about what he said.
However the look in Teishi’s eyes when he spars with her again or when she talks to him in general.
It felt desperate and even obsessive like that of someone who is always trying to achieve something.
I thought that if she was like that she might actually destroy her body and move to catch the werewolf.
“Ugh. I get it. Let’s check it out in just 30 more minutes. If it doesn’t work let’s go back then.”
Leo sighed as he looked at this boy full of justice.
However I couldn’t stop it.
He knew full well that this good-natured guy who had first helped him and approached him as a friend was stubborn and would not make any compromises at important moments.
It was the moment when the two people who had taken a little rest were about to move again.
Ouch!
A girl’s scream heard from afar.
The strangely familiar voice was clearly that of Taycee Freeard whom the two had been desperately looking for.
“Leo!”
“okay. I heard. “It’s over there!”
The two ran through the grass and branches to where the screams came from.
At that moment the grass on the other side shook and someone jumped out.
And Aidan who was running in front collided with it.
Aidan was crushed by something and fell backwards.
“oh my. “What happened all of a sudden?”
“Okay.”
Aidan raised his head as he felt a strong pressure pressing down on his body which had fallen backwards.
The first thing I saw was red hair that did not lose its presence even in the soft moonlight.
“…Tacy?”
“…Aidan?”
Taysi also realized who she was currently riding on and quickly got up.
“You you! “Why are you here?”
“That’s because I heard your screams….”
“what?! What is the rain scream! “You’ve never done that before?”
Looking at Taysy who was blushing and yelling at Aidan Leo sighed saying that he was worried for no reason.
At that time the sound of an animal was heard.
Crumble.
“omg! Aidan. “Did you hear that?”
“uh. “Is this really the rumored werewolf?”
The two people’s wary gaze looked beyond the bushes. Eedan and Leo both took out their wands.
At that time Teish stood in front of the two people.
“Both of you. “Just wait a moment.”
“Tacy. “What are you doing now?”
In response to Aidan’s question Teish hesitated unusually then put a finger on his lips and motioned for the two to follow him.
Aidan and Leo looked at each other to see what was going on and eventually decided to follow Tacie.
The three people moved quietly and eventually arrived in front of a basin where the ground suddenly collapsed.
“Look over there.”
When I looked in the direction Teishi pointed in a quiet voice I saw something wriggling in the center of the basin filled with fallen leaves.
“That’s….”
Aidan a country boy with good night vision immediately recognized what it was.
“Werewolf?”
It was clearly a werewolf. There were wounds everywhere and he was still struggling to breathe but it was definitely like that.
and.
“You’re a kid right?”
The smaller one was a cub that had not yet reached adulthood.
