The Academy’s Undercover Professor – 26

◈ Episode 26 Werewolf (1)
Sedina Roshen recalled her dream-like meeting with Ludger with a hazy look on her face.
The First Order recognized him.
Ludger Chelisi acknowledged that he was always making mistakes and was on the outside even within the Black Dawn Society.
‘I am not wrong.’
The Roshen a family that is one of the Empire’s leading families. Sedina was born there as a child.
To others it may seem like a good family but to Sedina the Roshen family was a place worse than hell.
Her last name Loshen had always followed her in a cursed way even when she came out of the family.
Roshen.
To escape from that hateful family Sedina joined the Order of Black Dawn.
To eliminate Loshen. And to find my true self in the Black Dawn.
Even though she knew it was antisocial and unethical she chose that path.
I can change here.
That I can live as myself not as the worthless daughter of the Roshen family.
But reality didn’t work out that way.
Since the Black Dawn Society was a place that resisted the world most of its members were lower class people or criminals who lived at the bottom of society.
In such a place Sedina with the surname Roshen was a very alien being.
-what? Do you have a last name? Is it true?
-Loshen? Why on earth would someone from such a great family be here?
-be careful. He could be a secret spy.
-Like the damn upper classes.
Unlike them who came up from the soggy mud there was no way they could see Sedina who had come down from above on her own on the same plane.
That was why she was called the Third Order even though she had talent for magic and was admitted to Seorn.
The name Loshen eventually alienated her from the Black Dawn.
‘I just wanted to be recognized.’
I wanted to get rid of the hateful family. So I joined the Black Dawn. Eating well and living well was not her goal.

I believed that if I worked hard the people who were wary and looked down on me would gradually improve.
I wanted to believe that.
However the members of the Black Dawn members became more wary of Sedina and she became an object of envy and jealousy because she even had the ability to enter Seorn.
Originally Sedina was a talented person who wouldn’t be surprised if she occupied a position higher than the second order.
Without even receiving attention from the First Order he continued to remain at the bottom of the Third Order due to the checks of other members.
A word that is good to throw away.
Just a somewhat useful human being.
We could at least use the name of the Roshen family.
The intention was conveyed so clearly that it cruelly struck Sedina’s delicate heart.
‘But I met him.’
Now when I was exhausted and thought anything was okay.
An order was given to her from within the organization.
It was an order given by the Second Order a level slightly higher than her.
First Order.
Code name <John Doe>.
Unlike other First Order members he is an unknown being whose true appearance and identity have not been revealed.
The plan was to contact him and check on the progress of the mission.
This man now called Ludger Chelsea was a master of disguise who never revealed his true identity and an executive who specialized in infiltration and assassination.
However he had a flaw in that his personality was very dirty.
Even if a member of the same secret society is a member of the same secret society he is a psychopath who beats him up on the spot or even kills him in extreme cases.
Even Zero Order the leader of the Black Dawn even condones such actions.
Unless he was a fellow First Order official Ludger was bound to be a symbol of fear within the Black Dawn.
Being given the task of asking Ludger why he didn’t contact me was virtually the same as sending me to die by his hands.
Sedina Roshen was so angry that she cried.
Whether it be his colleagues in the Black Dawn who told him to go to his death or himself a coward who couldn’t properly refuse it.
What I hated even more than that was throwing away all of this and living as the daughter of the Roshen family again.
‘I don’t like it.’
She hated her family so much that she would have been better off dead.
So I approached Ludger.
With a death-ready attitude that it doesn’t matter if he kills himself.
But when he got closer the man’s charisma was beyond imagination and Sedna trembled without even realizing it.
I made mistakes and my voice trembled. I did almost everything he told me not to do in front of him.
I might die.
That’s what I thought.
But surprisingly
Ludger didn’t kill her.
There wasn’t even any hint of murderous intent.

As rumored I felt that his personality was dirty and eccentric during the conversation but in the end that was all.
Ludger let her go without saying anything.
And as of today.
Ludger even praised her for being good at explaining things.
If it were just lip service I wouldn’t have been this happy.
However Ludger’s words and actions contained sincerity.
He started by correcting his title by saying that he was Master Ludger not a member of the First Order and even though he pretended not to say what he was saying he listened to it more carefully than anyone else.
I’m so happy about that.
I thought that I might be of help to someone.
I felt like crying.
‘First Order. No Mr. Ludger Chelisi is truly amazing.’
From the first time we met I felt my heart pounding while looking at him.
At the time she thought it was because of tension and fear but today’s meeting made her realize that.
This is awe.
An endless reverence for someone you truly want to serve.
I don’t think I was treated like this because I was special.
It was just a very small amount of compensation for the misfortune and effort I had experienced so far.
As an executive in an organization Ludger Cellisi may have done some good deeds for his subordinates.
It’s too early to judge things like this already.
still.
Even so.
It was the first time I was praised by someone for doing a good job.
* * *
When it was time to leave school and the sun was setting Ludger put on his outerwear and checked all his equipment.
In order to hunt werewolves in earnest speed was essential and of course all the tools necessary for hunting had to be prepared.
These are highly secretive items that are not revealed on the outside so people passing by will not be suspicious.
With that in mind Ludger left the teacher’s office and ran into Hugo who had been visiting him.
“uh! “Mr. Ludger!”
“…Master Hugo Bourtegue.”
Hugo Bourtegue.
The head of the Marquess of Burtegg a famous magic family with a long history in the Exilion Empire.
However due to excessive magical authoritarian tendencies the family is unable to properly accept modern science and is gradually declining.
At the morning meeting a man who was at odds with the president came to visit Ludger.
“Do you have any business for me?”
“Huh. This person. “Do I have to have some big business to come to you?”
Hugo’s attitude is already friendly.
As he said Hugo came to Ludger to make a suggestion.
“you. You haven’t really met other teachers yet have you? “It seems like you only become friends with the other new teachers.”
“Is there any problem with that?”
Hugo twitched his eyebrows at Ludger’s stiff attitude not even bending let alone struggling with him.
But since this was the only thing that was disappointing Hugo decided to endure it and move on.
“Hmm. “I’d like to introduce you to some professors I’m friends with.”
“….”
Ludger immediately realized what purpose Hugo had come to see due to Hugo’s subtle restrictions.
Recruitment of factions.
Hugo’s intention was to bring Ludger into the teachers’ faction made up of nobles.
Even in this situation where students are anxious because of werewolves is it a fight to divide sides for power?
Ludger shook his head because Hugo’s attitude was funny.
“I’m sorry but I’m comfortable right now.”
“what?”
Hugo’s face turned red at Ludger’s direct rejection.
This person spoke kindly to me but a fallen nobleman refused even though he couldn’t thank me?
“Do you know how many years I have been a teacher here?”
“Do I need to know?”
“It’s been like 15 years. Marie Ross Aside from that old lady I’m the next highest. “It means that he is a very senior and superior to you!”
“You mean superior?”
“okay!”
“That’s strange. “My superior is only the president.”
President.
Hugo gritted his teeth at those words.
To Hugo the name “president” did not please him at all. Rather it was closer to an insult that awakened his sense of inferiority and anger.
Hugo who immediately started managing his expression opened his mouth.
“Mr. Ludger. “I heard you were active in the military before you came here.”
“It was just a brief stay.”
“Didn’t you say that you developed an innovative specialty while hunting cryptids?”
Have you already gotten that information?
No it was a spec that was intentionally leaked by the Black Dawn Society anyway so it wouldn’t be surprising if someone of Hugo’s level knew it.
Ludger first nodded.
“I’m saying this because I admire your abilities. Don’t you want to rebuild your fallen family? “It is entirely possible with the support of our noble faction.”
Hugo chose to make as many concessions as possible where he could back down.
He was impatient now.
The president’s faction is growing stronger day by day. In particular the current president despite her young age was a 6th rank Lexorer level wizard and had natural political skills making her an opponent that even Hugo could not let down his guard.
‘If it weren’t for that woman I would have been the next president!’
Hugo was very dissatisfied with that.
Even now rather than being nice to aristocratic students the president is actually showing more care for commoners.
There are as many as five new teachers who have joined this time three of whom are commoners and one of whom is a fallen nobleman.
There was only one pureblood noble.
‘It hurts my pride though. Ludgar Chelsea We must bring this man to our faction.’
We already know that he comes from a fallen noble family.
Normally I wouldn’t have paid attention to it but since the situation was urgent I had no choice.
Moreover Ludger Chelisi was a magician who achieved the 4th rank at a young age and was quite a talented man.
The same thing happened when I posted a criminal record on Cryptid Hunting.
Except for his background there was no talent more desirable than this.
So Hugo himself came to visit him.
“I can help you. So what is it like? Join hands with us.”
“What exactly does it mean to hold that hand?”
This time instead of a refusal a question came back.
Hugo continued thinking that Ludger had finally taken interest.
“Is there anything going on? All we have to do is build friendships among ourselves receive support from other nobles and take better care of their children.”
“In other words you are giving convenience to noble students?”
“Uh huh. “It’s just a matter of being a little more flexible.”
Hugo thought Ludger was almost over.
The reason this man became a soldier in the first place was probably with the intention of rebuilding his family by achieving some kind of achievement.
That’s how Hugo judged Ludger’s actions.
“That won’t work.”
“What?”
Hugo who didn’t expect a rejection here asked back foolishly.
“Thank you for the offer but I will decline it.”
“Now are you serious about what you’re saying?”
“yes. The message is to treat students differently. “I’ll just pretend I didn’t hear it.”
“It’s not discrimination! “I just want to be a little more flexible!”
“Then let me ask you. “If the president were to give better benefits to certain students and package it as flexibility would you be willing to follow that?”
“what? No are commoners and nobles the same? “You have to say something that makes sense!”
“That’s it.”
“what?”
Hugo had a blank face. That’s it. What is that?
“Flexibility is ultimately something that should be applied to both parties not just one side. But if flexibility only applies to nobles it is no longer flexibility. “It’s a privilege.”
“No I mean nobles….”
“Inside Seorn there are no commoners nobility or royalty. Everyone is just a student of magical teachings. “I have no intention of giving up on this idea.”
“this…!”
Hugo gritted his teeth at Ludger’s words.
Hugo letting go of his anger curled up one side of his lip and scowled at Ludger.
“okay. I was short-thinking. “I overlooked the fact that the president may have already taken action when you arrived here.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Ludger was sincere.
In the first place he had no intention of getting involved with a man like Hugo.
You want to help build the family?
If that happens it will be revealed that this family is fake. From Hugo’s point of view it was an offer to help but to Ludger it was just an excuse that would lead to his identity being revealed.
In the first place he had no intention of rebuilding the fallen family. The only goal is to survive here for two years without being discovered.
Moreover I was concerned about joining hands with Hugo and confronting the president.
No matter how you look at it Hugo and the president were not equal.
Hugo himself may not think so but in Ludger’s opinion the rector was much more dominant.
‘If you do something strange and get caught in the eyes of the president you’ll get tired of it.’
There are a lot of tigers in the mountains but no idiot joins hands with a fox.
It would be ideal to walk a tightrope without belonging to either side but with the other party sticking so blatantly Ludger had no choice but to make a choice.
If I had to choose between the two it would definitely be the president.
Because it is more comfortable to have a president who treats everyone equally rather than the authoritarian personality of an aristocrat.
“I have to go on patrol now so I’ll go first. “Mr. Hugo may also be in danger so let’s go in first.”
“You will regret it.”
“I will listen carefully.”
Hugo’s face turned red like a boiled octopus at Ludger’s provocative words.
His thick cheeks were trembling but Hugo could not say anything to Ludger’s back as he was already leaving.
To be honest it was because I was scared by the sight of Ludger staring at me.
This side is much more senior and prestigious so you’re scared!
Hugo didn’t want to admit that.
“Eight!”
Hugo stamped his foot on the rough ground and left in a huff.
He plans to penalize any student who catches him.
* * *
Ludger broke up with Hugo and patrolled just outside.
The sun had already set and the magic light was turned on inside Seorun and the light gradually spread around.
The night which should have been quiet came without any signs but strangely enough the darkness was alive with life.
Ludger sighed inwardly and headed to a nearby bush.
“I guess you didn’t hear me tell you to go back to your dorm right away.”
As I used magic to cut through the bushes the students hiding inside gasped.
Ludger said coldly staring at the three students who were looking up at him with blank faces.
“Or I heard it but you’re showing off your guts.”
“That teacher. “That’s not it…”
“You all get 5 penalty points.”
