The Academy’s Undercover Professor – 151

◈ Episode 151: Public sparring (1)
Sedina Roshen walked the streets of the festival alone.
Normally she would have spent the day helping Ludger with his work in the teacher’s office.
Ludger told me not to go to work on the festival day so I forced myself to walk around with tears in my eyes.
This is because there was an order from Ludger to enjoy the festival.
Since I had no close people or friends I walked around alone but Sedina didn’t mind.
Because I was used to being alone.
‘But enjoy the festival. ‘I don’t know what to do.’
Why did Teacher Ludger give such a difficult command?
No matter how much I thought about it nothing came to mind.
‘Could this be an ordeal for me?!’
Lightning swirled above Sedina’s head like a person who had achieved great enlightenment.
Why did First Order Ludger tell him to enjoy the festival?
Why was he asked to do something he was least confident about?
‘The lesson is that you should be able to do things you don’t want to do!’
There is no one in the world who can make a living doing only what they want to do.
Life is always difficult so people force themselves to do things they don’t want to do.
But here people are divided into two categories.
There are people who don’t say they don’t like it and people who hate it on the inside but still do it well.
Sedina realized.
Ludger says he wants to be the latter person.
‘iced coffee! After all First Order!’
Sedina shaking with emotion decided to faithfully carry out Ludger’s orders.
So we need to enjoy the festival but how should we enjoy it?
While Sedina was thinking a delicious smell wafted from somewhere.
‘That’s…’

Naturally where my eyes went there was a street food stall.
I was drawn to the savory yet sweet scent that emanated from there.
The owner asked while looking at Sedina.
“Welcome little girl. “Is there anything you want to eat?”
“Oh that’s good….”
“If you have a hard time choosing I will recommend it for you. How about this? This is the food that sells the most in our store. Do you want to do this?”
“Oh yes.”
She nodded her head absentmindedly and the man immediately offered her food.
It was a fried potato strung on a long wooden stick and topped with butter and honey.
After finishing paying Sedina looked at the food in her hand and carefully took a bite.
“…!”
Her eyes flew open and fireworks exploded above her head.
It tastes so amazing.
The price seemed a bit overpriced considering the ingredients but it had a unique taste that went well with the festival.
After devouring the food in an instant Sedina naturally looked to another store.
When I was first told to enjoy the festival I had no idea how to enjoy it but I felt like I could see a way.
Sedina enjoyed a full-fledged festival gourmet meal.
As the sky darkened and the sun was about to set a signal came through the communication device that I always carried in my arms.
[grow. I’ll call you the location so come right away.]
At that familiar voice Sedina realized that the First Order needed her and immediately ran to the called location.
‘If you suddenly called me now then you are finally starting a full-fledged operation right? ‘Because now during the festival is the best time for the Dawn Society to move!’
Sedina arrived at the scene with strange anticipation.
I realized later that I was in such a hurry that I couldn’t throw away the food I was holding but that wasn’t the important thing.
Because there was a secret operation in front of me that would make my heart pound.
Ludger spoke to Sedina who was waiting for orders with a pounding heart.
“Get these two people away.”
“Eh?”
* * *
With the help of Assistant Sedina Ludger was able to safely move the unconscious people without being noticed.
After putting Krolo in his own dormitory Sedina left with Joanna on his back saying he would send her to the dormitory.
There was something strange about the sight of small-sized Sedina carrying Joanna who was taller than herself.
In fact Joanna’s toes were dragging on the ground.
‘I’m sure you can take care of it.’
Ludger came to the nurse’s office with Selina on his back.
Since the sun had already set there was no one in the nurse’s room and it was quiet.
The dark interior was softly illuminated only by the red lights of a distant festival making it feel like another world.
Ludger looked at Selina who was lying on the bed and quietly falling asleep.

‘Esmeralda and Selina. ‘I never thought the two people were the same being.’
He never thought that the First Order he had been looking for was so close.
I was definitely skeptical at first.
However after seeing Selina’s appearance he tentatively concluded that it was not her.
Looking at the results alone Ludger’s guess was only half correct.
‘There was definitely a chance.’
When Esmeralda is distracted by a fainted Krolo.
Quasimodo was constantly on the lookout for Ludger but he clearly had a chance to kill Esmeralda there.
The reason I missed that opportunity was ultimately due to my own hesitation.
‘Esmeralda can kill. but.’
Selina couldn’t be killed.
Selina is a good person. Although she had a scary presence behind her that did not mean that Selina was a villain.
Because she didn’t know.
‘Is ignorance where one cannot even be given the opportunity to know a sin? Then does all the warmth and good deeds she has done so far become meaningless?’
Ludger thought not.
Sin is sin and good deeds are good deeds.
Like simple addition and subtraction you can’t cover up a mistake with something good.
Conversely just because a person commits a sin does not mean that his or her good deeds disappear.
So if a good person and a sinner share one body how should that person be treated?
‘It’s a challenge.’
Ludger shook his head.
However the correct answer could not be postponed.
The last day of the festival comes in 4 days.
Esmeralda will move to kill Crolophebius as promised.
The sole purpose of Esmeralda’s actions so far has been revenge on the Phoeus family.
The problem comes after that.
What will Esmeralda do after killing Fabius with Crolo the last survivor of Fabius?
‘As long as you belong to the Black Dawn Society you will not be able to disobey the orders of the Zero Order. Maybe he came here in exchange for help with revenge.’
If the Fabius family disappears completely Esmeralda will faithfully follow the orders of the Zero Order.
It was clear that this would remain a huge barrier for Ludger who was planning to one day eliminate the Black Dawn.
The right thing to do to prevent that situation from happening is to get rid of Esmeralda.
Ludger calmly looked at Selina’s lying figure.
The pink hair scattered on the pillow was shining softly in the light outside the window.
She looked like a princess in deep sleep.
“Ummmm.”
Selina let out a sigh and soon opened her eyes.
Instead of Esmeralda’s red eyes they were her original light purple eyes.
“Huh? “Where?”
“Are you awake?”
“Mr. Ludger?”
As soon as Selina came to her senses her shoulders trembled at the sight of Ludger.
Eventually he realized that he was in the nurse’s office and Ludger was sitting next to him as if guarding him.
“How did this happen?”
“You fainted.”
“Yes yes?”
“It seems you have been tired recently. “While enjoying the festival he suddenly collapsed and was brought to the nurse’s office.”
“Did I do that?”
Ludger’s voice was so serious that Selina completely believed him.
In fact Ludger was not wrong. It was true that she was so excited the day before the festival that she had trouble sleeping.
‘You idiot! No matter what how could you faint!’
Doesn’t this make him look like someone who collapsed from exhaustion after enjoying the festival too hard?
Selina screamed inwardly at the thought that Ludger who was patrolling with her might come across as someone who liked to have fun.
‘I can’t believe I fell! What should I do! Could it be that I came here in the arms of Professor Ludger? ‘I guess it wasn’t too heavy?!’
On the other hand Ludger completely erased any caution he had after seeing Selina’s reaction.
‘Luckily you don’t seem to remember what happened a little while ago.’
It’s encouraging to have one less excuse to make.
After examining Selina’s condition Ludger decided that it was okay and stood up.
“ah. “Where are you going?”
“It looks like you’re okay so I’m just going to get up.”
“Uh Mr. Ludger….”
When Selina tried to say something Ludger stood up and waited for her to speak in silence.
Selina wiggled her fingers and couldn’t bear to meet Ludger’s gaze.
She eventually spoke in a sinking voice.
“Thank you.”
“I just did what I had to do.”
“It wasn’t just that you moved me when I fainted.”
Selina shook her head.
“Thank you for everything. “For giving me advice for enjoying the festival with me and for not showing any signs of displeasure even though it must have been annoying.”
All of that.
It remained a good memory for her.
“I’m actually sorry that I caused trouble for no reason.”
“Miss Selina. “If you really had caused me a nuisance I would have told you clearly on the spot.”
“yes?”
“The reason I stayed silent with Teacher Selina without saying anything until now is because I didn’t hate it either.”
It was sincere.
Although he didn’t show it Ludger also enjoyed the liveliness of the festival in his own way.
Win prizes at the shooting range buy snacks at street shops and watch various magic shows.
Meeting the students in my class and seeing them smile.
Ludger clearly thought ‘It’s fun.’
He always lived a life in the dark hiding his identity.
I have walked a path filled with difficult and painful events without ever revealing my true name.
That might have been why.
What touched my heart even more was that it was my first festival in this world.
“I also had fun today.”
“Really? thank god.”
Selina sighed in relief and stroked her heart.
“I’m worried that I might have bothered Mr. Ludger.”
“You don’t have to worry that much.”
Ludger immediately tried to leave the nurse’s office.
At that time Selina called out to Ludger in a soft voice from behind.
“Mr. Ludger.”
“yes.”
Ludger answered without looking back.
“We can definitely enjoy the festival together next year right?”
In fact Selina herself did not understand why she asked this question.
I just suddenly felt that this might be the last time.
Ludger was lost in thought as Selina asked in a slightly anxious voice.
Is it next year’s festival?
Surely Seorn’s festival will return.
‘Because the festival is held every year.’
Maybe more people will gather than today.
They will all enjoy the festival and make new memories.
But will the two people who are here now on that future day be able to stand together then?
That can’t be possible.
One of the two will not be there.
It is an inevitable fate.
still.
“It certainly will.”
Even though he knew that Ludger had no choice but to tell a lie.
As if that was a sufficient answer Selina smiled brightly.
“yes! Then make sure to go to the festival together next year!”
“yes.”
“It’s a promise!”
“yes. “It’s a promise.”
Even though I know it’s a promise that can’t be kept.
Ludger answered that way.
As calm as always.
* * *
The first day of Seorn’s magic festival came to an end.
The lights of the festival went out one by one and darkness came.
There was a person moving as if he had been waiting for that kind of darkness.
Sigh.
Ludger’s teacher’s office.
In a dark place where there was not even moonlight the window quietly opened and a person sneaked inside.
He lightly scanned the surroundings with his magic power.
‘It looks like there is no detection magic. It’s because security is so lax.’
It’s also ridiculous to imagine someone secretly sneaking into the teacher’s office.
The intruder stepped on the carpet on the floor with careful movements and searched Ludger’s desk.
The intruder who was rummaging through several desk drawers found what he wanted and grinned.
‘I found it.’
Grumble.
The man held the pure white container in one hand and shook it a few times to confirm the sound of pills colliding coming from inside.
‘You said that if you take this away you can easily win in sparring tomorrow right?’
Ludger Chelisi said that he takes medicine without others knowing.
This medicine must be a magic pill that replenishes insufficient magic power.
It was clear that they were important as there were so many of them that they filled a reasonably sized container.
If you see so many things you must actually live with your mouth full.
‘I never thought Ludger Cellisi’s secret unknown to others would be right here.’
─Lack of magical power.
Who would have imagined that a teacher teaching magic would lack magical power just because it was dark under the lamp?
And even the magic power was supplied by this pill.
‘I’m looking forward to tomorrow.’
What happens when a wizard suffering from a lack of magical power loses the means to restore it?
I couldn’t stop laughing just thinking about it.
The intruder cleaned up the desk he had left in the first place and left the teacher’s office through the window he entered through.
The teacher’s office returned to its original state and became quiet.
As if no one had come to visit from the beginning.
