The Academy’s Undercover Professor – 146

◈ Episode 146: Crolo Febius (2)
Crolophebius broke into a cold sweat as he looked at the man in front of him.
At first he thought it was an assassin targeting him.
In fact there was no way that a bold person would do something like that in broad daylight like this in Seorn but Krolo driven to the edge of the cliff couldn’t think of anything else.
So we launched a preemptive strike before we were attacked first.
But it was he who was subdued.
I was defeated in the blink of an eye without being able to resist even once.
‘What the hell are you talking about?’
Still I thought I was confident in my magic skills.
Wasn’t it even he who fired the magic first?
In a wizard’s fight preemptive strike was the most important thing.
But I got stuck. So easily.
What about the attacks that came after that?
This time I didn’t even block it I just dodged it.
I thought it was definitely a wizard but its movements felt like I was seeing a black beast roaming the jungle in the middle of the night.
Until the other person spoke Krolo saw a vision of a huge predator.
Only when he regained his senses did he realize that it was a hallucination and only then was he able to see the intruder’s true form.
A black-haired artist with sharp eyes.
The man who introduced himself as a new teacher naturally brought a chair and sat down on it.
And then he said. Let’s talk.
Krolo was dumbfounded.
“What a story! get out. Get out now! “I don’t know where this is…!”
There is nothing to talk about with him. Nowadays Krolo doesn’t have even a handful of sand to spare.
You never know when that monster may suddenly appear.
The terrible devil who burned down everything he achieved might burn him to death at any moment so he wants to talk nice?
Crowlo whose mind was pushed to its limit had no time to worry about anything else.

Ludger noticed the situation and took a quick look around.
The inside of the room is a mess. They were all traces of Crowlo smashing them in a fit of fear and obsession.
“You’ll regret it if you don’t do it.”
“Tsk tsk. regret? Who would you dare say such nonsense in front of? I am Crolophebius! “It’s Duke Fabius!”
Ludger closed his eyes and sighed.
Bloodshot eyes thin cheeks and even the smell of alcohol that wafts from his mouth every time he shouts.
I wasn’t in a state of being upset by saying good things.
After making his decision Ludger stood up from his chair.
“If you know get out of here right away…!”
Sigh!
Ludger grabbed Krolo’s collar with his right hand and forced him to stand up.
“I think there was a misunderstanding in what I said.”
“What are you doing!”
“I wasn’t asking if you wanted to talk to me. I just said ‘don’t do it’. “Don’t you know the difference?”
Krolo struggled to get rid of the hand that was holding his collar but Ludger was steadfast.
‘What kind of wizard’s grip…!’
Even though it only has one right hand on the other side and both hands on this side it doesn’t budge as if some kind of steel core has been driven into it.
Even though I didn’t strengthen my body with magic.
It was then that Ludger’s voice reached Krolo’s ears as he gritted his teeth.
“Crolophebius. “You managed to shamelessly survive even after starting the Great Roteng Fire.”
“You you…!”
Crowlo’s eyes widened as if he didn’t know that story would come up here.
“Who are you? Could it be that the devil sent you to kill me?”
“If the devil sent it….”
Ludger grabbed Krolo by the collar and beat him to the floor.
“Ugh!”
Crowlo coughed dryly and crouched due to the impact on his back.
“You died a little while ago.”
“Cough! Then…?”
“I was investigating several cases recently and something strange happened.”
Anyway since you have come this far it is impossible to approach him while wearing the mask of a teacher.
In order to do that it was necessary to go out stronger and more brazenly.
“The fall of the Fabius family after the Great Fire of Loteng. “I heard that all the elders including the previous head of the family were burned alive as a punishment from God right?”
“How on earth can you do that….”
“It’s already too early to be surprised. After that the family members dispersed to survive but they all died.”
Krolo kept his mouth shut.
Although he was pretending not to do so his body was shaking like an aspen tree.

“The cause of death was that they were all burned to death. “After the number of casualties continues to increase there are no members of the Fabius family left.”
“no. no….”
“Ah isn’t there one left? Because the last survivor and matriarch of Febius is alive and well here now. But how long will it last?”
“What are you…”
Only then did Krolo realize that Ludger was no ordinary teacher.
Ludger sat down on the chair again and slightly loosened the tight collar around his neck.
“Do you finally understand our intelligence power?”
“Who are you?”
“There is no need to know. Crolophebius.”
“yes yes!”
Crowlo who was pushed back by Ludger’s momentum answered politely.
“I was being chased by a scary guy.”
“That’s right.”
Krolo approached Ludger in a low-key manner.
He felt it instinctively. He said that a rope of salvation had come down to him who was trembling because he didn’t know when death would come.
It was only now when his life was in danger that he realized it.
He realized that the name he had held until now Duke Febius was truly useless.
“Oh the devil. The fire demon is coming to kill me. “The devil was even there at the banquet hall back then!”
“As expected.”
The reason Quasimodo appeared at the banquet hall that day was because Crolo was also there.
Until then he didn’t think anything of it but the moment he faced Quasimodo he realized the seriousness of the situation and was living like a wreck.
Ludger finally realized Esmeralda’s true purpose.
‘Esmeralda’s purpose was really revenge.’
The reason she came to Seorn was to kill the man in front of her.
But why didn’t they kill him right away?
Her movements were quite cautious to say she was disturbed.
Ludger came to one conclusion.
‘They’re trying to slowly stop you and kill you.’
It is the prey that is left behind without being killed until the very end.
The intention is to make him feel all the pain he has experienced for a long time.
‘When you slowly drive to the edge and the other person is pushed to their limits mentally and physically.’
At that time the final revenge is complete.
If Ludger had been watching from a third party’s perspective and not directly involved in this situation he would not have expressed particular displeasure at his actions.
However Ludger became deeply entangled with the Black Dawn.
If he leaves Esmeralda here his life will be in danger.
I have no intention of discussing justice or morality in someone’s revenge.
Because he wasn’t an honorable person.
I just go out because I have no choice but to survive.
“So who is that person?”
“Are you buying it?”
“That fire demon who is coming to kill you. “I asked what your name was and what your external characteristics were.”
“Her name is… I can’t remember.”
“what?”
Ludger glared at Krolo as if asking “What kind of guy is this?”
Are you saying that you can’t even remember the name of the person who is coming to kill you?
Still this is a woman who once whispered love to me and said I would take advantage of her?
‘Should I just let him die?’
While Ludger was seriously thinking Krolo must have felt something as well so he hurriedly crawled over and grabbed Ludger by the leg of his pants.
“Oh no! I can remember! Oh no! “I can remember!”
“Regardless of the name. “What are the other specific factors?”
“That… that she’s pretty and that she has black hair.”
“and?”
“He’s probably in his mid-20s today….”
Mid 20s?
Ludger recalled the image of Joanna Lovett.
As she infiltrated as a student Joanna Lovett’s appearance was not much different from the students around her.
It’s a bit mature but can that be considered mid-20s?
‘no. Considering that wizards and knights look younger than their actual age even as they age it is not surprising.’
Ludger stared at Krolo with a gaze asking him to say more.
Krolo opened his mouth but quickly changed the subject as if he had nothing more to say.
“Where did you come from? Are you a member of the empire’s secret agency?”
The Empire’s Security Bureau was so famous that it was even known as Krall.
The Knights of Nightcrawler an order belonging to the Security Bureau were called a nightmare for criminals.
Additionally Shadowfang one of its investigative agencies was an elite team composed of wizards and mercenaries.
Crowlo asked thinking that if he belonged to such a secret agency he would have at least a certification plaque.
Are you coming this far and looking for this side?
Ludger sighed inwardly. I thought that if I were to be a bit intimidating and intimidating everything would blow up but even though he was a rotten noble he still had a cunning side.
“Do you have anything to prove your identity?”
When Krolo was about to ask with a slightly suspicious look Ludger took out an item from his inner pocket and showed it to him.
Plated in black it was a dog tag.
“That…”
“Is this not enough?”
Krolo bowed his head and said no.
Many organizations have badges to prove their identity but only one organization uses a black dog tag.
‘Military! It’s also a very secret unit!’
Seeing that Krolo had completely lost his doubts Ludger clicked his tongue inwardly.
‘It’s a good thing I kept it with me just in case.’
Team Black Ops dog tag.
This dog tag was one of the things he carried with him during his past activities.
If Krolo had more detailed knowledge in this area he might have been puzzled by the dog tag.
Because the black ops team with that dog tag no longer existed.
The vague knowledge I had became poisonous.
“Of course!”
That must have been why.
Crowlo took out a piece of paper that he had been hiding in his inner pocket.
“that?”
“This is a letter… that the devil sent me.”
Even though his life was in danger he was hiding something like this?
Am I clever or stupid?
Still I’m glad they at least showed it to me.
Ludger received the letter and his eyes lit up when he saw the words written inside.
‘This isn’t a bad harvest.’
The letter contained a short elegant phrase written in ink.
[The last day of the festival. I will come find you.]
Ludger stroked his chin.
‘The article itself was written without any unnecessary details. However an inextinguishable hatred can be seen in that restrained attitude.’
If nothing else finding out when Esmeralda would move was a very encouraging result.
If she was sending out a warning like this she would definitely move on the last day of the festival as written here.
If you look at the starting points of his actions so far he won’t suddenly go crazy and run wild.
Ludger took his eyes off the letter and stared at Krolo with a half-hearted gaze.
Krolo forced the corners of his mouth to curl up and laughed.
“What do you think? “If this is the case it’s still helpful…”
“This alone is not enough.”
“yes yes?”
Ludger threw the letter on the floor.
At that action Krolo’s face turned into a color of despair.
“The festival is in full swing right now. And Seorn’s magic festival lasts five days.”
5 days until the festival opens.
And the 5 days during which the festival is held.
There were only 10 days left for Krolo.
“Are you asking me to deal with someone who acts such a monster in 10 days?”
“That…! “If you ask Seorn for help!”
“You idiot. Do you think it will change anything if you tell the president? So did the other people who have died so far die because they were stupid?”
I had to stop at least informing the president.
no. Even if I told you I shouldn’t have let this get involved.
But looking at Krolo’s current state his true identity was about to be revealed.
The good news is that Crowlo now trusts us wholeheartedly.
Use that part.
“Then maybe I’m fine?”
“Just wait for now.”
“yes?! “What the heck is that…”
“The other party announced the date. On the contrary it is safe to do anything until that date. “Because they won’t touch it.”
“So in the meantime get ready….”
“But you don’t think that the other person could be secretly spying on you in the meantime?”
Krolo fell silent at Ludger’s point.
“I wonder if the other person will be patient and wait until the appointed date if I run wild and spread rumors everywhere.”
“Then what should I do?”
“Stay still. As if nothing had happened. As if it was nothing. no. “It would be better to pretend to be fine.”
Esmeralda wanted Krolo to fall into despair and be devastated.
Rather Ludger calculated that if he remained sane Esmeralda would be even more angry because things did not go as planned.
“Doing nothing. “That is your role.”
Ludger was thoroughly planning on using Krolo to eat it.

The remaining five days of preparation passed by quickly and the time for the festival arrived in Seorne.
The wide main gate which would normally be kept tightly closed was wide open and several carriages lined up to enter Seorn through it.
Many people were wandering around the once quiet site and barracks were set up here and there where students gathered in groups of twos and threes.
A festival in Seorn with history and tradition.
It was the opening day of <Magic Festival>.
