Chapter 0381 – Entanglement Revisited – The Absolute Return
by GreatBrother(위대한 다오 형제)“…… That’s how things are, I’ve invited the Martial Arts Alliance, over as well.”
After returning to the Demon Sect, Jian Wuji immediately went to see Jian Wuchen and reported to him what had happened.
Today, Chief Military Master Sima Ming, was also present. After all, he was in charge of the arrangements for this meeting, as well as the escort.
Hearing that Jian Wuji had, surprisingly, invited the Martial Arts Alliance Leader over as well, Jian Wuchen shook his head in tears and laughter, while Sima Ming didn’t say a word, just quietly looking at Jian Wuji.
“Warlord, you have long anticipated that this would happen, right?” Jian Wuji asked.
“Of course, this is the inevitable trend of history.” Jian Wuji expected Sima Ming, to be able to say this.
However, Sima Ming asked back, ”Which incident are you talking about? Is it the matter where you left the Demon Sect without authorization in order to save that tavern owner, and then, invited the Alliance Leader of the Straight Path, to the Demon Sect? Or is it the matter where you went to the Martial Alliance Master and asked for his understanding, and then, as a result, invited him, too?”
It was only after Sima Ming reminded him of this that Jian Wuji realized that he had, unknowingly, made such a big deal out of it.
“Sorry, Warlord, for causing you trouble.” Jian Wuji said apologetically.
“Do you realize how much trouble you’ve gotten into?” Sima Ming asked.
If it wasn’t for the fact that, Sword Wuji was the Young Sect Master, and, Sword Wuchen was also present, he was afraid that he would have, long ago, broken into a rage.
“Young Sect Master, you have done something that no one has ever done before or since.” Sima Ming said.
“Are you praising me?” Jian Wuji asked.
Sima Ming’s expression was clearly saying, “Complimenting you? I’m scolding you!”
However, in the way of Jian Wuchen’s presence, he could only say against his will, “Of course I’m praising you.”
The look on his face, as if to say, “I really want to, well, teach you a lesson!”
Jian Wuji understood Sima Ming’s feelings.
Sima Ming was an, experienced military master, what he hated the most, was accidents and variables. And this time, it was undoubtedly, the biggest variable he had encountered in his military career.
“We have a lot of things that we need to prepare for. Especially, since this is the first time, the three-way talks are being held, there will definitely be, many unexpected troubles. Among them, the most troublesome problem is the issue of escorts. The Martial Arts Alliance and the Orthodox Alliance, will definitely send, a large number of experts, to escort them. The more people there were, the easier it would be for accidents to occur. One slip-up, and a war will be triggered.” Sima Ming said.
However, they couldn’t ask, the Martial Arts Alliance and the Righteous Alliance, to send only a small number of people, to come to the appointment. Therefore, they had to advance, and do a good job of communicating, to avoid conflict. And the one responsible for this work was none other than Sima Ming.
Jian Wuji knew that he had caused Sima Ming, a great deal of trouble.
He shifted his gaze, from Sima Ming, to Jian Wuchen.
Jian Wu Chen didn’t say a word and just looked at him quietly.
If it was before, he would have, for sure, been scared to the point of trembling by Jian Wuchen’s eyes. He didn’t even dare, to look straight into Jian Wuchen’s eyes. That was why the relationship between him and Jian Wuchen was becoming more and more distant.
However, right now, he was able to face Jian Wuchen’s gaze openly.
He knew that Jian Wuchen was just worried about him and wasn’t angry.
“Are you angry?” Jian Wuji asked.
“Of course I’m angry! You brat, you even took the liberty of organizing some three-way meeting! Sima Ming, you immediately go and inform, the Martial Alliance and the Righteous Alliance, to cancel this meeting!” Jian Wu Chen said angrily.
His eyes, however, did not, however, show the slightest bit of anger.
Jian Wuji knew that Jian Wuchen was taking out the anger for Sima Ming, for him.
“No, father, it can’t be canceled!” Jian Wuji said.
“Why not?” Jian Wu Chen asked.
Sima Ming quickly said, “Sect Master, please calm your anger. The Young Sect Master has already, promised them, we cannot, go back on our word.”
He intentionally helped Jian Wuji to speak, also in order to, give Jian Wuji, a step down.
“Thank you, Warlord.” Jian Wuji said gratefully.
“Fortunately, beside the Young Sect Master, there is me, the military advisor.” Sima Ming said with a smile.
His tone, though relaxed, his eyes, however, were filled with helplessness.
“Armsmaster, don’t make fun of me.” Jian Wuji said.
Sima Ming’s joke eased the atmosphere, which had been somewhat tense.
Jian Wuji once again looked at Jian Wuchen.
“What are you, now, Father, thinking about?”
He wanted, very much, to know what Jian Wuchen was thinking, but he was never, ever able to see through, Jian Wuchen’s mind.
“Although, I’ve gotten into trouble, I still have to tell you ……,” said Jian Wuji.
“This meeting, even though it was, a meeting of three elders, it was also important for us. We are able to learn a lot from it. After all, this is, a once-in-a-century meeting between the Sect Leader and the two Allies.”
He said what he had said before, to the others, to Jian Wuchen again.
“Father, I trust you, that’s why I dare, to do this.”
As Jian Wu Chen looked at Jian Wu Ji, the corners of his mouth rose slightly, revealing a hint of, a playful smile.
“You kid, you’re really getting bold.”
“Then I will take my leave first, father.” Jian Wuji said.
He turned and left the Great Hall.
“I’m really, getting more and more unable to see through, him.” Jian Wu Chen looked at Jian Wu Ji’s back and muttered.
“What, exactly, does he want to do?”
After Jian Wuji walked out of the large hall, he suddenly felt, a chill on his back.
He knew that Jian Wuchen’s gaze was still watching him.

“Don’t worry father, I will, I will stop this war.”
The reason he was, so obsessed, with trying to stop this war was because, he didn’t want to see, life and death.
“Right, and, Uncle Fai, I’m sorry for the trouble.”
He suddenly remembered that the person who was most nervous about this tripartite meeting was, I’m afraid, Fai.
“Senpai!”
After leaving the Sect Master’s hall, Jian Wuji immediately rushed to, the Southern Blade Sect where the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon was located.
He couldn’t wait, wanting to meet the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon.
Last time, he had only focused on, catching up with the Fist Demon, and left in a hurry, so it had been a long time, since he had seen the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon.
He arrived at the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon’s residence, only to find that the courtyard was empty.
He went to the window and looked into the house.
Only to see the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon, lying on the bed, huffing and puffing.
“At this time of night, he should, uh, still be up, right?”
Jian Wuji was about to turn around and leave when suddenly, he stopped in his tracks.
“The Blood Heavenly Blade Demon, would even sleep in, like, the daytime?”
This is, like, a groundbreaking first!
He hesitated, but gently, pushed open the door to the room.
He was worried that it would wake up the Blood Sky Blade Demon, so he lightened his steps, tiptoed, and walked into the room.
However, just as he reached the bed, he suddenly changed his mind.
He turned toward the bookshelf.
He stood in front of the bookshelf, flipping through the Blood Sky Blade Demon, newly purchased books.
“You boys, you’re worried about me, that’s why you came in, right?”
A familiar voice suddenly rang in Jian Wuji’s ears.
Jian Wuji was startled and hurriedly turned to look.
Only to see the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon, sitting on the bed, looking at him with a smile on his face.
“No.” Jian Wuji denied.
He was, just now, really taken aback.
When he walked into the room, he sensed that the aura of the Blood Heavenly Blade Demon, had disappeared. That was why, he had, changed his direction and walked towards the bookshelf.
“I thought that you would walk over to the bedside to make sure that I was still alive.” The Blood Heavenly Blade Demon said with a smile.
“Elder, you are joking. Your old man, how could you die easily? You will definitely, die in battle.” Jian Wuji said.
“You kid, can’t you say something, auspicious?” The Blood Heavenly Blade Demon laughed and scolded.
Although, he said so with his mouth, but in his heart, he was happy.
He had always wished that he could, himself, die in battle.
“Senior, why are you, sleeping during the day?” Jian Wuji asked.
“It’s a good idea to sleep in once in a while. When you get old, you’ll know.” The Blood Heavenly Blade Demon said.
His voice, it sounded, a little tired.
“How did things go for you this time out?” Blood Heavenly Blade Demon asked.
“I’m in trouble.” Jian Wuji said.
“You kid, all day long, you know how to get into trouble. This time, what kind of trouble did you get into?” Blood Heavenly Blade Demon asked.
This matter, which was currently still, highly confidential, was only known to Jian Wuchen and Sima Ming.
“I’ve invited the Righteous Alliance Leader, to the Windfall Tavern.” Jian Wuji said.
“Who did you invite?” Blood Heavenly Blade Demon asked in surprise.
“The Alliance of the Righteous Dao.” Jian Wuji repeated.
“The one I know, the Alliance of the Righteous? Bai Zijiang?” Blood Heavenly Blade Demon asked.
“You know him?” Jian Wuji asked.
“Of course I recognize it.” The Blood Heavenly Blade Demon said.
That’s a lot of people he knows.
“How could he, agree to your invitation?” Blood Heavenly Blade Demon asked incredulously.
