Chapter Index

A man stepped out of the wagon.

He had a slender figure and a cold face, and his body exuded an aura of being uninviting.

The word "hard-hearted" seemed to be tailor-made for him. His expression of indifference complemented his cool demeanor.

He walked into a manor with open gates.

At the entrance of the manor, there was a plaque with the words "Big Night Gang" written on it.

However, walking into the manor, what met his eyes was a hell on earth.

More than a hundred corpses, lying horizontally and vertically on the ground, blood stained the ground red, and the air was filled with a heavy smell of blood.

The Big Night Gang. They’ve been wiped out.

A group of martial artists in red power suits were clearing up the battlefield as they examined those corpses one by one to make sure that there were still survivors.

This tragic scene did not move the man.

He walked past the bodies with an expressionless face, letting the blood splatter on his shoes and on his pants.

It was as if he was born to belong to this sea of blood, and with every step he took, he exuded a powerful aura that made people not dare to approach.

This man was none other than the second-in-command of the Evil Dao Alliance – Yelu Han.

Those martial artists in red power suits were his personal guards – the Extreme Blade Corps.

The Extreme Blade Corps, the most elite unit of the Evil Dao Alliance, is under the orders of Yelu Han alone.

Those martial artists bowed their heads respectfully when they saw Yelu Han.

The strength of each and every one of them was extraordinary.

    Jerohan walked into the lobby.

The Great Night Gang master from the trial, leaning back on the eunuch chair in the center, his body, covered in blood, was obviously seriously injured.

Around him, there were also several corpses of Extreme Blade Corps martial artists lying around.

"You beast!" From the trial roared, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he spewed out a mouthful of blood.

"How could you …… how could you do such a thing!"

The emotions from the trial, were very emotional, while Yelu Han, remained calm as water.

He walked to the corner where a martial artist from the Extreme Blade Corps was lying, he wasn’t dead yet, but he was already dying.

Without hesitation, Yelu Han placed his palm, pressing it on the martial artist’s chest.

The martial artist, at once, stopped breathing.

"I have long felt that you are scary." The voice from the trial came from behind Yeluhan.

    Jerohan ignored him.

"You always hide your emotions." From the trial continued.

He had never seen Yeluhan happy or sad, he was like a machine without feelings.

"Do you really have human feelings?" From the interrogation.

Jerohan stood up, turned around, looked at the slave trial, and said calmly, "Do you need it?"

His voice, low and thick, echoed through the lobby.

"What?" From the trial froze for a moment, not understanding what Yelhan meant.

"I said, do I need human emotions?" Jerohan repeated.

His tone, which was so righteous, left the slave scrutinizer speechless.

"It surprises me that you would say such a thing, you weren’t like this before." From the trial said.

    "Shut up!"

From the trial roared angrily and sprayed out a mouthful of blood once again.

"Even if I were bad, I wouldn’t be like you, destroying people’s entire families in order to frame them." From the trial said.

The Great Night Gang, accused of colluding with the Martial Arts Alliance with the intention of plotting a rebellion, that’s why they were exterminated.

The evidence was overwhelming, and from the study of the trial, a letter was recovered which he had never written, but which was written in a handwriting that was identical to his.

In his secret room, he also hid a large sum of silver from an unknown source, which was said to be a reward given to him by the Martial Arts Alliance.

Moreover, there are people who testify that he has leaked the secrets of the Evil Dao Alliance, and there are also people who say that they have seen him meeting secretly with people from the Martial Arts Alliance.

Even from the trial itself, he felt that the evidence, was enough to prove that he was a traitor.

"Tell me, why did you do it?" From the interrogation.

He knew that it was all a plot by Yelu Han.

    "You forgot." Jerohan said.

From the trial, he sniffed and was shocked.

Had he really done something wrong?

"What did I forget?" From the interrogation.

"You once said that I was too cold for comfort." Jehan said.

From the trial tried to think back, but he couldn’t recall when he had said that.

"You’re always mouthy and don’t know how to control your emotions, I hate people like that." Yelhan said.

"So you killed me?" From the interrogator.

    Jerohan did not speak.

From the trial it was instantly clear.

"You’re exterminating my entire family because of this?" From the trial asked incredulously.

"I hate you, so I killed you, isn’t that a good enough reason?" Yelu Han asked rhetorically.

"You madman!" From the trial roared.

    Jerohan remained calm as water.

"In this world, there are so many people, why would I want to be with someone I hate?" Jerohan said.

From the trial to understand what Jerohan was thinking, or rather, he could only pretend to understand.

But what he couldn’t understand was why Jerohan had killed so many innocent people.

"Even if you wanted to kill me, you should have just killed me!" From the trial said.

"I hated you so much that, I couldn’t help but kill them." Yelu Han said.

"How can you …… how can you kill so many innocent people just because of this kind of thing?" From the trial said painfully.

In his eyes, two lines of tears flowed.

If he had been killed because of some deep hatred, he might have been able to accept it.

But he was exterminated because of an unintentional remark, how could he face his family, how could he face his disciples?

"That’s life, I guess." From the trial said mockingly.

"It’s not fate, it’s your fault, it’s you who are too cold, too heartless, and that’s what brought about the killing." Yelu Han said.

"I’m dying, come here, I have something to say to you." From the trial said.

He had felt the breath of death, and on his face, instead of anger, there was only sadness and helplessness.

    Jerohan walked up to him.

"A little closer, a little closer." From the trial said.

    Jehoshaphat fulfilled his request.

The distance between them, getting closer.

    "Go to hell!"

From the trial suddenly stormed up and slapped his palm at Yelu Han.

His weakness just now was all feigned.

    "Swish!"

However, Yelu Han was even faster, and his sword, as fast as lightning, was incredibly precise.

    "Pfft!"

From the head of the trial, it flew up and rolled to the ground.

Yelu Han looked at the head from the trial and said coldly, "Do you think that I will kill you because of this kind of thing?"

He left a sentence that would make the slave trial die in peace, then turned and left the lobby.

The very moment he stepped out of the lobby, it rained from the sky.

    "Clatter, clatter, clatter, clatter!"

Jerohan stood under the eaves of the house, looking at the rain and thinking.

A man covered in dragon tattoos, braving the rain, ran over and handed a straw raincoat to Yelu Han.

He’s Chehwan, the only one of the Four High Rollers who’s still alive.

Although he was tattooed with a dragon pattern all over his body, he gave off the impression that he was a black panther.

He was dark-skinned and athletic, with black skin that set off the whites of his eyes, making them all the more striking.

But he didn’t want to be a panther, he wanted to be a dragon.

He is the most loyal to Yelu Han among the four high commanders.

He believed that the reason why Yelu Han had left him alone was because he valued his loyalty.

"No, let me get wet." Jerohan said.

He stepped out into the rain, and Chehwan followed him silently.
