    Chapter Index

The Extremely Evil Laughing Demon was still sitting alone in that white room, facing the wall, as if it was motionless like a statue.

Ever since I learned that the white walls helped his martial arts training, I stopped worrying that he would go off the deep end because of it.

I walked into the room and opened the door, “Lord Laughing Demon, let’s go kill someone.”

When he heard that I had successfully obtained my father’s permission, the pair of eyes under the mask immediately brightened up, as if they were two shining stars. In order to help me, he even went so far as to use the power of his “Immortal Ghost Mask” to meet with my father.

    “Good.”

The Extremely Evil Laughing Demon agreed with alacrity, and even though he knew that his opponent was Yelu Han, he didn’t look the least bit intimidated. He seemed to enjoy fighting alongside me.

“We have to get rid of Yelu Han, and his four guardians.”

The pair of eyes under the mask smiled, the stronger his opponent was, the more excited he was. But that didn’t mean he would be gullible or ignorant of his opponent.

“Yelu Han’s strength is extraordinary, I’m afraid our mission this time is even more difficult than before.”

The Extremely Evil Laughing Demon did not take it lightly, he knew the danger of this mission better than anyone else. And because of this, I am even more grateful to him, grateful to him for knowing that there is a tiger on the mountain.

“And we can’t leave any traces, we have to be godless.”

“You’re resourceful, you’ll think of something.”

“It will take a lot more of your help to do that.”

    “I only kill people.”

Even though he said this lightly, I could feel the change in his eyes, and he knew that this mission wasn’t going to be easy.

“In battle, I often lose myself, and that’s when it’s most dangerous. You, on the other hand, always know exactly who you are, so I’m not worried.”

“I’m relieved to have you here.”

We smiled at each other, appreciated each other, and were grateful for each other.

I really wanted to joke around with him and say something lighthearted.

But I held back, knowing that the closer you are, the easier it is to slip up. The most difficult thing to grasp between people who are close to each other, is the proportion. Therefore, I treated him with more respect and awe.

“By the way, for this mission, there is another Demon Sovereign who will be joining us.”

    “Who is it?”

“It’s Lord Poison King, father asked me to bring him along.”

Upon hearing the word “Poison King”, a hint of difficulty appeared on the face of the Extremely Evil Laughing Demon.

“I don’t know him very well.”

Who would be familiar with him? Whether it was the Poison King or the Extremely Evil Laughing Demon, both of them were solitary in nature.

“I’ve gotten to know him a little bit in the meantime, and I think he’s a good guy.”

The Extremely Evil Laughing Demon is still a bit resistant, even though he likes me, it doesn’t mean that he will like other Demon Lords.

The demon of extreme evil laughter walked to the other side of the room and stopped at a white line.

“He and I, we’ll probably keep our distance like this.” He said, pointing to the start of the white line.

“At least it’s still on a line.”

The Extremely Evil Laughing Demon couldn’t help but laugh at my words. Since the mission had been finalized, he accepted it openly.

“I hope his poison won’t actally poison us.”

I also can’t imagine how the two of them would get along, and the relationship between Demon Elders is always elusive. Just which two Demon Dignitaries would get along better together?

    “When can you leave?”

    “I’m always available.”

“Then let’s leave in the morning.”

    “Good.”

I was about to turn around and leave when I suddenly remembered something, so I said to the Extremely Evil Laughing Demon, “This mission was thanks to you, thank you again.”

“If we don’t make it back, you should say ‘it’s all your fault’ instead of ‘thank you’. It’s not too late for you to thank me when the mission is complete.”

After saying that, the Extremely Evil Laughing Demon turned around and continued to face the wall.

I looked at the white wall in silence for a moment, then said goodbye to the demon of extreme evil laughter and left the room.

As I walked through the Valley of Evil, I noticed that the Faceless Guests were looking at me in a much friendlier way than before. Some would even bow and curtsy to me, it seems that the matter of me learning to bark like a dog in the martial arts arena had increased their favorability towards me. What a strange bunch of guys, to enjoy this kind of prank.

After I left the Valley of Evil, I went straight to the Forest of a Thousand Poisons.

The Poison King is packing his bags, and it looks like he’s already guessed that I’m coming to inform him about leaving tomorrow morning.

“How did you know we were leaving in the morning?”

“Isn’t the point of making all that noise to get the job done as quickly as possible?”

    “You are so smart.”

“If I were really smart, I wouldn’t be in this crisis.”

For him, the real crisis was not Yelu Han, but leaving the Thousand Poison Forest.

The Poison King had packed all kinds of poisons into a package that could be carried on his shoulder, there were bags, cans, and bottles, all kinds of poisons were available.

“Do you need to carry so much poison?”

The poison that the Poison King carried with him would have been enough to kill thousands of people, but he still prepared a large amount of spare poisons.

    “Who knows what will happen?”

Although he said on his lips that he didn’t want to go, he was very thorough in his preparations. If he hadn’t been so cautious and meticulous, he wouldn’t have been able to refine so many poisons and antidotes.

The Poison King wore a thin tunic that covered the poison pouch around his waist. On the inside of the long shirt, there were also many hidden pockets sewn into which he had also stuffed the poison.

“I brought a medicine bag that will help you share some of it.”

“It’s not like I’m going to exterminate the Evil Dao Alliance, so I don’t need to bring that much.”

“Your current aura does seem like you are going to destroy the Evil Dao Alliance.”

The Poison King ignored my flirting and continued to pack his bags. He took out a belt from his suitcase, which had more than twenty poisoned daggers sticking out of it.

“You still know how to use flying daggers?”

“I can throw better than you.”

Although I didn’t believe he would use flying daggers, I was still taken aback by the weapon he carried with him.

The Poison King took another folding fan.

This folding fan is called “Infernal Fan”, which is the unique weapon of the Poison King, and is specially used for administering poison. It is not difficult to poison everyone by spreading poison to the crowd, but it is difficult to poison only one person in a room of dozens of people.

I have to be careful of the Poison King’s “Infernal Fan”, because you never know where that deadly wind will blow.
